She is terrified of butteflies and moths. First time she saw one she nearly jumped out of her skin. It does not matter what anyone says she is convinced they can seriously injure if not kill her.

She feels pretty comfortable in the deep roads. Not so much the darkspawn and deepstalker parts, but the ‘having walls on all sides and no sunlight thing.’ It comes from living in a single building with no direct sunlight and not being allowed outside ever. (That is also a major contributing factor to why she is so pale she’s nearly translucent. The other major one is I had a fun time with very extreme color mods when I made her ¯\_(ツ)_/)

She got stuck as a dove once when she was first learning how to shape change. Morrigan thought it would be best to start out with something small and relatively harmless, which was a good idea because it took her a few hours to figure out how to change back. Chantry teachings on casting magic don’t always translate well when one is a bird.

If you had childhood trauma, and now realize you are a system, that is absolutely bc of the childhood trauma. For us, we were not aware of being a system until a particular trauma happened later in life, and it almost felt like that is what made us a system.

But after learning more, what the truth was is that that trauma didn't cause the DID, but caused the system to be thrown so out of wack, it was impossible to deny. Not to mention, a major trauma can cause several splits, making it seem like that was the beginning.

Also, DID/OSDD-1 gets more noticable with age. You have less splits and less roles typically. Therefore, you hide being a system well. And you're supposed to. There may be seemingly no signs of it in childhood because your system is working as your brain intended. But as life goes on and there are more struggles, your brain struggles to keep up, causing more splits/roles and more obvious differences between alters. Thats when you'll begin to notice that you're not quite one person.

why don’t you like endogenic systems?

Hi there! There are a plethora of reasons but for me personally I am just not a fan of the mass amount of misinformation they spread regarding dissociative disorders. They often make the argument that trauma is not a requirement for DID in the DSM when that is blatantly untrue. To look more into that though I recommending reading a bit through @/justanothersyscourse because they have some really great takes and phrase things better than I can.

It's also super easy to fall into that kind of stuff. When I first joined the community I thought I was "quiogenic" because the idea that anyone can be a system made me minimize the trauma I have. I know a ton of other people who had this same problem so it's by no means a one-off experience.

Also, every single blog I've ever run has had a moment where an endo or supporter has harassed us. I shouldn't have to explain why this is a problem. There was another occasion where a "mixed origin" system decided to "reclaim" a flag for traumagenic systems that had nothing to do with syscourse! It was just a fun flag

We know this might be a dumb question but are their certain sources that make your mods uncomfy when it comes to fictives ie: south park introjects (we don't have any this is just an example)

Hi! This isn't a dumb question at all! I don't speak for all the mods, but some stuff that I personally won't make boxes for includes;

and boxes for triggers (triggers dont make me uncomfy at all but making the boxes themselves icks me out a bit due to the boxes potential to be misused/taken advantage of if that makes sense)

This isn't to say we wont make boxes or any of these things! It's just my personal list, so if you think someone else might want to make a box for it it might as well be worth a shot

i tend to be okay making boxes for introjects from most sources, just cuz i know they can’t control what source they’re from. however, it’s different for if you’re sending in a request saying you love or support a problematic source. i don’t do those.

i’m a little iffy on making boxes for triggers. it depends on their use i guess. if someone’s using it for privately or sharing with trusted friends (in the way of being like, hey, please put a warning or heads up for mentions of this), that’s alright, but if it’s just for publicly sharing ur triggers, i prefer not to do them, since it could put people in danger. when i did make trigger boxes i always added a little note saying be careful who u share ur triggers with.

if ur request contains misinformation, pro-endo sentiment, stuff that sounds like fakeclaiming, or things that seem to talk about alters negatively (like putting them down/calling them names), i delete those asks. if i’m optimistic it’s not what you meant and it’s possible for me to do so, i sometimes change the wording.

oh! i also change wording if ur request is more than 3 lines long in the box, cuz it doesn’t really fit. in that case i just try to shorten it but keep the same idea.

tulpamancy and tulpas in general are just a westernized ripoff of a real buddhist practice. it's racist and ableist, not only comparing the experiences of a religious practice to a disorder caused by childrens' trauma and pain and suffering, but stealing aspects from that religion [ especially if you're not apart of it, which is cultural appropriation ] to further appropriate the disorder.
