hey mod if you're still doing those things where you talk about danganronpa murder methods could you do one for 3-5/kaito and kokichi's case

Ooc:// The theme of this murder is "we're not so different, you and I."

I've said it before, but Kaito and Kokichi are two characters who appear to be opposites, but deep down are notably similar: both fantasists who love to play, they've just chosen opposite roles in the game. And most importantly, they both hate the violent cruelty of the killing game.

Shuichi himself says that there is no way to tell who the real Kokichi is, that he is an impenetrable personification of deceit. I disagree. I think his actions paint a pretty consistent portrait of someone who is deeply disturbed and upset by the killing game, but who has no means of expressing himself besides lies and pranks. With this motivation in mind, it's fairly easy to tell when he's lying and when he's not in retrospect.

This, of course, reaches its breaking point with Gonta's death. It was at that moment that Kokichi decided that there was no price he wouldn't pay to end the killing game. He assumes the role of the Mastermind--the person he hates most --and starts doing terrible things: kidnapping, destroying hope, plunging people into despair (and what exquisite irony to use Despair as the tool to end the killing game) because at least then the game will finally stop.

But Kaito is no different. He, too, is willing to go to terrible lengths--to harm his friends to some extent--to end The Killing Game. He lies to them, lets them think he's dead (and just look at how much pain this causes Maki), manipulates them for his plan.

The literal mystery is about uncertain identity: who was in the press, and who is in the mech? But thematically, this murder is also about conflating identities. The goofy dumbass hero best friend is the one callously manipulating everyone for a master plan. The selfish, mercurial villain is the one who sacrifices his own life for the sake of everyone else. The lines between them blur, revealing a deeper truth about them both.

Probably my favorite murder/trial of the series.

🎵 Kanade is rich because of her musical abilities and her dart skills (she likes to do competitions), and she will take you shopping and buy you things that would make you feel gender euphoria whether you like it or not.

🎵 Kanade will get so upset and explode at the petty excuse for an organism if they even dare to think of an insult to hurl at you with their disgusting mouth. 

Kiyoka Maki

🏹 She’s very supportive, Kiyoka will go shopping with you to buy you clothes. She will put in her own two cents on styles you should wear and if you two ever wanted to do matching outfits the two of you would wear western style.

🏹 If anyone tries to insult you, she’ll get pissed quickly. Because her S/O is perfect and nobody is allowed to insult them.

🏹 If you okay to, Kiyoka would teach you how to use a gun. Sure, she might not like her talent all too much but it is something very traditionally masculine and even if you don’t love it, it would be in interesting date.

🏹 When you experience gender dysmorphia, she’ll be by your side. Kiyoka would definitely be there to comfort you because she loves you and doesn’t want you to feel bad about yourself.

🏹 Overall Kiyoka is very very support of you and will fight people that try and mess with you.

Hibiki Otonokoji

🎶 Hibiki is super supportive of you, if anyone messes with you then she will defend you in a heartbeat. Nobody will be screaming transphobia when she’s with you.

🎶 She is so quick to ask questions. Hibiki will try to get the questions about you being transgender and what you are comfortable with out of the way as quickly as possible.

Giant!Maki, Tiny!Shuichi and Tiny!Kaede Headcanons

Maki may seem like an aggressive Giant, but deep down she’s lonely and wants friends that aren’t scared of her. Shuichi and Kaede understand that and try their best to help her

Kaede will play the piano to help relax Maki, with Shuichi petting her finger, saying words of encouragement

Maki tends to have flashbacks to when she was in the orphanage due to Shuichi and Keade being so small compared to her

Shuichi and Kaede will gladly visit her along with Kaito when Maki locks herself away, making sure that she’s ok

With Maki being a giant, weaponry tends to not work so she can’t properly use her true talent as the ultimate assassin. But Kaede suggests she should start caring for her fellow classmates as the “Ultimate Guardian”

Shuichi and Kaede are great listeners whenever Maki needs to vent, giving great advice and bring great friends

If Maki notices that Shuichi and/or Kaede is upset, she will gently store them as a method to calm them down as she’s not good with physical affection

Overall Maki has grown to be a better person with the help of Kaede and Shuichi

V3 has it’s own problems. Honestly, I might get hate for this, but I don’t like Shuichi. Not because of Kaede dying for his development. No, it’s because he stopped being interesting after she died. Shuichi was interesting in Ch 1 because despite his shitty self esteem, he was proactive and even had a leg with his uncle’s detective agency. But after Kaede died, all of it chucked out of the window in the favor of him being more “relatable” (I hate that term).

We could have moments where Shuichi tried to find a way out and escape or him and Kaito talking about their guardians and Maki getting jealous of them because she doesn’t have that being a orphan turned into a killing machine. Shuichi just becomes a generic blank slate passive protagonist that whines. At least give a reason why he gives up. Saying it’s “my fault that Kaede killed” or something. It’s just him having bad esteem and everyone praising to boast his esteem. Like some kind of praise kink.

I wouldn’t put it like that, but I do understand. I was kind of upset too when they made Shuichi the protagonist.

Like we could have had a fresh and upbeat female protagonist for the duration of the game. But instead, we just get a low self esteem doubtful boy, again, for the third time!

-Everyone agrees that Hajime is a voice of reason, and gives sound advice. This extends to you, as well.

-He makes it very clear there's no pressure to put yourself in uncomfortable situations. Hajime values your comfort and happiness more than anything.

-When you're out and about together, Hajime will do most of the talking, leaving room for you to be present if you choose. It's a great strategy!

-His favorite times are when it's just the two of you. It makes you feel at ease, and he gets to spend quality time with his love.

Shuichi:

-Shuichi has dealt with social anxiety himself, so he completely understands. Even without that experience he's quite sympathetic, so he's incredibly sweet to you.

-If you do get super anxious, he's great at comforting you. He'll let you know he's right there, not going anywhere until you're better.

Maki:

-She's a bit of a loner, so while she doesn't experience social anxiety herself, she understands how you feel.

-You can trust that she'll never leave your side in public. Maki is very perceptive when it comes to her surroundings, so she knows what to avoid.

Headcanons for Rantaro Amami x chubby reader who gets self conscious really easily

Rantaro, being decently tall, is used to giving his partners his shirts to wear because A. Relationship goals his partners look adorable in them and B. He loves to spoil his partners in cute ways like that. However, when he found out his most recent partner is self conscious about their weight and how they look in his shirts, he decided to get some shirts a bit baggy. Not only so that his s/o looks adorably tiny in them, but so he can joke about how they don’t fit him either and reassure them it’s okay if they don’t fit them perfectly too (he does allow them to decline if they are still nervous though.)

Every time his s/o is self-depreciating about their looks, and if it’s not super serious, Rantaro will find pictures of cats he took from different places and send them to his s/o claiming they are beautiful and just like the fluffy cats. Them being chubby just fits how cute they are as well as their adorable “purr-sonality”…. He’ll then awkwardly laugh and apologize for the bad joke and remind them they are beautiful.

He loves cuddling with them. His s/o who happens to be chubby is so soft and huggable, he loves it so much. He isn’t big on PDA, but whenever they are alone he’ll just hug them from behind or rest his chin on them and just playfully pepper kisses on them.

Rantaro loves to take selfies, at least one, of wherever he travels to remember it. He decides to bring his s/o along for a lighthearted trip for once to a place he had been before but wish he got to explore more. Along the way they have dinner and he insists on them getting whatever they want and that he would pay. Afterwards he takes some pictures to post but his s/o isn’t comfy with that, so he just simply shares them with his s/o. He was just happy to have a nice evening with his s/o, and he doesn’t want to make them uncomfortable.

Rantaro is a very respectful and kind guy, but the second someone makes a comment about his friends or s/o he’ll step in, especially if it’s harassing them. His s/o rarely sees him upset, but one time someone was being a jerk and made them cry, and Rantaro ended not only stepping in and shoving the guy, but he brought back up with Tenko and Maki. It’s safe to say the person never said anything to them again after that run in.

Whenever his s/o decides to go out of their comfort zone or treat themself, Rantaro gives them a stuff animal as a gift. Nothing big or anything, it’s just a little positive message to say “I’m proud of you for trying to be happy and love who you are, cause you deserve to be happy and love yourself cause you are beautiful.” He also leaves positive notes and chocolates around the house when they are over.

Being scouted for Hope’s Peak Academy was a dream come true! All you had to do was graduate and you would be set for life. You would be getting one of the best educations in the world. But what you didn’t really think about is that you don’t speak Japanese. Upon learning that you would be going to study at Hope’s Peak you began to study some of the language. But no matter what you did it never seemed to stick. Though with the wonders of google translate you were able to communicate in some way. Yeah you sounded kinda formal but at least you could talk to people.

While most students at the academy were nice and helped you learn, others were just straight up brutal. Like that progeny guy that called you a pest when you tried to ask for directions. Or even your own classmate Kokichi. He’s always digging into you for not being fluent. And when you speak with him he’ll start to talk really fast so you can’t keep up. He thinks it's all one big joke but it starts to feel upsetting being picked on all the time.

It’s exam season at Hope’s Peak and you needed some help reading some of the words on the study guide. Walking into your classroom, the only one there was...Kokichi. Maybe he’d see that you genuinely need help and decide to be a good person for once. Walking up to him you tap Kokichi on the shoulder. Noticing it’s you he gives you a smirk.

“Uh Hello Ouma. I was uhm...was wondering if you...uhh.” Not remembering the proper wording you had to take a minute to think. Before you could continue your sentence Kokichi begins to snicker.

“Aw you’ve been here for how long now? And you still can’t even form a proper sentence. It’s so sad that I almost feel sorry.” Kokichi made sure to say that nice and slow so his teasing could really sink into your skin. “Why even bother speaking if you’re just going to-”

“Hey Kokichi! You’re on bathroom duty and Maki’s pretty upset that you’re not there yet.” Your classmate Kaede called from the entrance of the classroom.

With a whine Kokichi made his way towards the bathrooms leaving just you and the pianist. Facing you with a smile she pulls out a sparkly purple notebook from out her backpack. Flipping to a page she begins to speak.

“Hey [Name]! I have been...practicing my English to make you feel at home!” She smiles brightly at you and then flips the page over to keep reading. “Forgive me for making mistakes...and I hope we will learn each other's languages together!” Now Kaede wasn’t completely lost when it came to English. Having gone overseas for piano recitals helped her to understand some. With you making such a big effort to communicate with everyone else she wanted to show she was going to try just as hard.

“That was so sweet of you Kaede. Oh I was wondering if you uh...knew how to form?...This word into the proper sentence. Google is not that helpful.”

Looking at where you had pointed to Kaede then pulls out what seems to be a Japanese to English translation book from her bag. Taking a moment to flip through she collects her thoughts and answers.

“Maybe we could head to my dorm...and study together. I could help you uh...understand and you could help me with English.”

“That would be quite nice, Kaede. Thank you very much.”

With a big grin Kaede grabs your hand and begins to walk to her dorm. It made you so happy to have someone work hard to make you feel welcome. You hope you can help Kaede with English just as hard.

Maki may not show it, but she cares deeply for Shuichi

Whenever Shuichi breaks down and panicking, Maki to so overwhelmed that the only thing she could do is store him

When he arrives in her belly, he immediately curls against her stomach walls softly crying saying how he’s guilty for ruining for the murderer’s life

Maki slowly rubs her stomach where Shuichi is, petting him, she isn’t great with words but she does manage to give a somewhat comforting one, “Shuichi, you didn’t ruin his life. Your not a failure, he made his choice and you helped the grieving family…”

Shuichi has very low self esteem, he may not ask for it but when he’s upset Maki knows to just softly store him so he can calm down and relax

Maki’s movements vibrates through her belly, rocking Shuichi to sleep

Shuichi will stroke Maki’s stomach walls as a signal he’s alright

If the tables were turned and Maki gets upset Shuichi would try his best to comfort her

He figures out that Maki needs to fidget with something to stay calm and collected, usually twisting and playing with her hair. Sometimes Shuichi will go into her mouth and act as a fidget, making sure to pull her tongue if she becomes too rough
