i'm not going to say much on iskalls departure from hermitcraft unless we get more information (and maybe we never will, and thats fine) but please dont hound the hermits for details, especially on stream. we have no clue what the nature of the complaints were, we have no clue who was involved, and its likely not something they can talk about right now. i know its reasonable to want to know if your favorite youtuber did something bad, but i believe if they have more to say, they'll say it when the time is right. and the right time is probably not when theyre trying to do their job.

Every person on Afterlife SMP is a little messed up in the instincts department. Examples (all Joel): Joel thinking he can jump into lava, Joel thinking that the rain will hurt him, Joel thinking that he'll sink in water, Joel placing down mutable beds to sleep in, ect.

Extra: Joel messaging Tango during storms to see if he's inside and okay (because he remembers how it felt to spend two nights in a cave, and no other person will ever feel that if Joel has anything to say about it!)

Welcome, one and all, to Hermits and Hideouts!

Hermits and Hideouts is a Dungeons and Dragons 5th edition compatible compendium that will take the Hermits and their bases/builds across the seasons and turn them into a plethora of unique NPCs and interesting locations that you can easily drag and drop into your DnD games.

As a potential contributor, you don't need to be familiar with Dungeons and Dragons at all! You just need to want to participate and have a healthy dose of enthusiasm.

If you don't want to or can't contribute, you could help in another way by submitting which bases or which versions of hermits you would like to see included in this compendium.

Out of all the hermits, only 5 people know how to do first aid without relying on potions. Healing Potions are useful in a pinch, but over using them is advised against, as they have the adverse effect of weakening your immune system.

Xisuma and his twin lived a hard life in the past, causing them to have to learn how to patch themselves up to not die of an infection or bleed out. They are extremely by the books, and always carry proper first aid kits in their armour. They make sure to replenish it monthly and keep track of the expiration dates.

Gem has always been confrontational and curious about the world, so to keep on fighting and exploring, she learned natural remedies and anatomy to keep herself going. She’s more akin to a war medic, where she often has to improvise her tools, such as tearing her clothes to use as bandages. She’s the one people go to if they are sick as she always keeps a stock of medicinal herbs on hand. She can’t beat Etho’s ass if he’s dead, y’know?

Doc is a master of cybernetics and prosthetic limbs. Due to a series of accidents that left him severely wounded, he used his redstone knowledge to construct cybernetics for himself. He’s even got a cybernetic heart. He believes everyone should get cybernetics to become better at their jobs and make their day to day lives easier. He and Zedaph are the only ones qualified enough to give surgeries.

Zedaph is a quack surgeon. He doesn’t have any kind of certification nor did he actually go to a university to study, but he just… innately knows how to perform surgeries on people, from heart to neurosurgery. However, he has a habit of “improving” others without asking, such as giving them several hearts or an extra brain. According to him, a revived someone who was decapitated by transplanting all their organs into their head and throwing the rest away.

Pearl made the hungry hermit buildings decor and put a little chef hat on only the Gem armor stand and the building itself, and the gem and pearl armor stands are within like 8 blocks of each other, I know this is a stretch but c'mon

oh, nothing is ever a strech for shiny duo. i remember being in the trenches for them when they had matching horses and kept going in resource gathering with them in season 8. they only ever did this with eachother and i swear no one really saw that vision bc it took a while for more content to drop

but also. how did you not mention they were the only ones at that side of the entrance? literally alone together even after a creeper blew them up </3
