Teruko/Arei/Whit aaaaa >u<

I've never thought about these three before. I love aruko, whitrei, and teruwhit, which means they're a perfect trio, right?

Trick question. They're beautiful.

What would their ship name be? Feel free to comment any ideas for a "trio" title.

˚₊· ͟͟͞➳❥ 1/3 of the time Teruko mediates their antics, 1/3 Teruko joins them, 1/3 she ignores them. 100% of the time she laughs.

˚₊· ͟͟͞➳❥ Arei and Whit's favorite thing is when she joins in on their antics. Typically pranking because they all make this elaborate plan for a prank, just for Teruko's luck to make it go wrong, but the end result ends up being unexpected and x10 funnier.

˚₊· ͟͟͞➳❥ Teruko's bad luck didn't go away, but 100% of injuries (to her and everyone else) decreased.

˚₊· ͟͟͞➳❥ Teruko often gets frustrated by how people brush off her bad luck (saying luck doesn't exist). Arei isn't sure what the fuck is up, but she says "Whatever it is- demonic spirit, bad luck, karma needs to stay THE FUCK away from my girlfriend!!"

˚₊· ͟͟͞➳❥ When cuddling, Arei typically hogs the middle, but Teruko likes it the best.

//So now that Chapter 2 is over, I suppose some of you are wondering how I feel about my theory being wrong after I spent a year and a half developing it.

//It was a long shot anyway, I never expected it to be right. There were bound to be reveals that undermined my predictions, and there were. I was hopeful for a last minute reveal, but it is what it is.

//For me, the biggest thing I was initially unhappy about was that Arei's death felt meaningless and emotionally manipulative, like they showed her tragic backstory and had her be friends with Eden, then killed her off so we'd be sad. It felt really cheap and hollow at first.

//I was even worried that last scene with her and David was only there for David's benefit, which felt like actual fridging to me. Mostly because I expected this to be all about him, rather than her.

//But with that ending, I actually think I like this better. Because it shows her role was not meaningless at all.

//Teruko was the only other one who stuck around to see Arei's emotional breakdown. Not only hearing about how she was bullied and mistreated...but that she didn't want to be the person she was.

//In the ending scene, Teruko admitted to MonoTV that she believed she was destined to be a terrible person because she had a terrible life and that everyone abandoned her. That it's not her fault she was cursed with terrible luck, so she doesn't have to feel bad. She was certain that she could never get close to people and that she had no choice but to be a cruel loner.

//She spent this whole chapter trying to convince herself that it's wrong to care, that it just gets you hurt, and that people like Eden are naive for believing in others.

//And Arei completely destroyed that idea. Someone who also had a shitty life and felt she had to be cruel to survive, but who actually wanted out and wanted to be like Eden. Someone who actually decided to embrace that idea and became friends with her.

//And I never expected Teruko to actually grieve like she did. She cried over losing not just Ace, Xander and Min, but Arei too. She even wondered if it was all her fault because they didn't abandon her. She pushed then all away for so long.

//I think, with Arei, she realized they actually had a lot more in common than she thought, right down to wanting to be better, but that she's gone now. She'll never have that connection.

//But I'd also like to think, if Arei were still around, she would've considered Teruko a friend. It doesn't matter what she's done or how she's acted, nobody's perfect and she doesn't have to be. She just has to try and be better.

//Levi jumped in front of a hail of bullets for her, Ace willingly went to his death to save Levi in front of her, but Arei reflected everything Teruko thought she had to be to survive and proved her wrong. Not only that, but proved her wrong enough to do what she said she'd never do for the people in this game: mourn.

//And if there's anything I'm glad I was right about, it was that.

So I'm re-watching ch2 ep10 of drdt and at around 19 minutes in David is talking about Arei's lack of experience in friendship. How someone had taken advantage of how desperately she wanted to prove herself as a good friend.

And man is triggered! Knowing about the conversation between him and Arei and how someone still liked him despite being manipulative. And that single person is now dead.

Do I believe he liked Xander? No. Xander never knew the real David. But I do believe he liked Arei. She knew the real David and told him they could still be friends.

I just want more David and Arei friendship!!!!

Teruko: Probably preparing for the worst; she's completely ready in the event of a flood, tsunami, or thunderstorm.

Xander: Enjoying the time he gets to spend with his new friends.

Min: Studying.

Arei: Calling everyone a pussy and telling them it's just a little rain.

David: Encouraging everyone to stay calm; the rain will be over soon! (Real David: Calling anyone who gets scared of the rain a pussy.)

Ace: Bitching about the rain.

Nico: Outside in the rain, looking for any stray animals who might have been caught in the storm.

Hu: Probably with Nico.

Eden: Working on her newest clock.

Veronika: Messing with the circuit breaker just to fuck with people.

Arturo: Reading some bougie-ass magazine or some shit.

J: As long as she doesn't have to be near Arturo, she's fine doing whatever. She's probably off playing games on her phone.

Rose: Taking a nap. She's already tired, this weather just gives her a reasonable excuse.

Charles: Watching a movie with Whit... or he would be if Whit wasn't-

I'm so sorry to hear about what you've been going through. It can feel incredibly isolating to not only have very little friends, but to have a boyfriend that doesn't really understand what you're going through. Although it makes absolute sense to feel that isolation and even questioning your own existence, please know that you're not alone in experiencing these things.

Regarding your partner, it may be worth examining this fear of what he might feel if you broke up with him. Wanting to protect people from their own emotions is empathetic, but ultimately unhealthy. How your boyfriend may react to you breaking up with him doesn't deserve to be a barrier if leaving the relationship is something you're considering. It can be painful to recognize that we ultimately cannot protect others from whatever emotions they may experience, and in many ways those emotions are necessary for healthy expression and growth. For the sake of your personal autonomy and mental health, the option of breaking up should be an easily accessible option if it is something you wish.

Sometimes this can be a part of a codependent relationship, which can be characterized by excessive caretaking, a lack of boundaries, a fear of abandonment, and avoidance of confrontation. This article explains a bit more about what codependency means. This article talks about how protecting partners from their emotions works in the context of a codependent relationship. It's important to remember that relationships where a partner seeks to protect the other partner from their emotions isn't inherently codependent, however. I also hear that another concern of yours regarding potentially breaking up with your partner is that the decision may be impulsive. teruko plays among us: episode 07 // the power of friendship (and chekhov's knife)

six players remain, with two imposters still alive. if the imposters kill a single person each, the amount of crewmates and imposters will be equal, thus ending the game in the imposters' victory. it is in your best interest to eliminate the imposters in any way possible, be it through an emergency meeting... or by taking initiative.

i remembered last-second not to spoil the other imposter in the "dead chat page", but their identity can be kinda intuited. Especially if you remember canon. i'm still letting you people choose though. b

this marks the end of my free time, two posts a week, and the certainty of this thing updating weekly :(( but i PROMISE that i will finish this silly little comic eventually. if not for anyone else then for me and my own PRIDE!!

anyhow! Everything happened all at once, so here's a few elaborations that will be helpful sooner or later: -) yes, xander Fakes sucking at card swipe. it usually works well! -) david did follow j to electrical and see teruko, xander, and whit hovering over j's body. he just made a conclusion based on what he saw. but he also happened to be executioner for teruko, and he just Wins if he gets teruko voted out! so things worked out like clockwork for him... if it weren't for... -) swapper is a crewmate role that can swap the votes of two people. the swapper should work in the interests of the crew, but there are so many things that can go wrong (especially in the hands of this cast) that some call it a neutral killing role -) arei voted for teruko because she respected david's haterism and found the concept of "teruko losing to david executioner on her for her very first game" hilarious -) whit also wanted to vote for teruko for the same reasons but his intuition told him something crazy would happen, so he voted for david instead -) guessing is a mod-only mechanic where all imposters AND the crewmate role "vigilante" can try to guess another player's role. here, imposters can only guess crewmates, while the vigilante can only guess imposters and neutral roles. if they're correct, their target dies (like an assassination); but if they're incorrect, the guesser dies. most real-life and therefore Sane players limit the maximum amount of guesses someone can do (to stop someone from theoretically winning from only guessing roles), but this cast is Not Sane in the slightest and allows "unlimited" guesses. if this seems easier to see in practice, worry not! This will be relevant within the next 2 episodes -) incidentally, xander voted for teruko last-second but he was really hoping a vigilante would guess david as executioner (which would kill him) then get teruko voted out right after (since david can't win off teruko's unjust execution anymore), which would bring a safer victory -) as a reminder, sheriff specifically has a faster kill cooldown than imposters, and teruko has done Nothing to reveal her role as sheriff. teruko will be safe!
