His lips hovered hotly over your bare skin, each breath building anticipation and nervousness in the pit of your stomach as it washed over your thighs. Mammon eagerly kissed along your hips and the tops of your legs, hands securely on your waist to keep your movements controlled. His name rolls off your tongue as you gasp, trying to pull his attention away from the haze of teeth and tongue toying with your soft flesh to no avail. Your hands find their way into his silvery hair, tugging with as much gentleness as you could muster in your flustered state at the silky strands, lifting his head until you could finally see his eyes again.

There was something hungry about the way his golden eyes glittered that abruptly reminded you of his title as the avatar of greed. Nonetheless, you still pleaded with him anyways about your growing impatience that was made further obvious by the way you squirmed under his touch, and soon your greed was quickly beginning to feel much more significant than his own. "Would ya stop moving s' much and it'll feel better," he groaned, burying his head back into your thighs, biting and sucking until pale rosey splotches started to form, some taking on a light purple tint over time. The tease of proximity mixed with his fervor was too much to handle and it made you all the more desperate for him to touch you in a way that mattered as he grumpily ignored your interruption.

Once again you grab his hair and try to pull his gaze into view of your own, propping yourself up as much as you could manage with your free hand. Fingernails every so lightly dug into your skin as his grasp firmed around your waist, crescent indentions making themselves at home. Before a word can even leave your lips Mammon is leaning over you, frustration radiating off of him and that same glimmer in his stare intensifying with each passing moment. Time seemed to stand still for a moment and race by all the same as the two of you maintained eye contact, until eventually you couldn't help but to finally break down and beg for what you wanted.

"Mammon, please," you bit your lip and moved your hand from his hair to the back of his neck, "I need you so bad, Mammon, please just touch me. make me feel good, Mammon."

The words seemed to just pour out and once they started you couldn't stop, guiding his hand over your body with your own as you held onto him tightly. Begs became whimpers as you quickly melted under his touch and your requests became unintelligible. It was in that Mammon knew he could no longer restrain himself; in one swift motion repositioning your bodies so that his was beneath yours, his head disappearing out of your line of sight as he sank between your legs, his muscular arms wrapping comfortably around your thighs as he pulled your lower lips against his own.

His tongue ran slowly over your slit, diving between your folds as he groaned. Once he got a taste of you it was game over, Mammon forcing your full weight onto his face as he licked and sucked eagerly, trying to collect every ounce of your arousal that he could, the rest pooling onto his face. It was impossible to restrain your moans, your fingers tangling into his hair as your hips glided back and forth over his tongue. It wasn't long before his lips attached to your clit, teasing until you were a shaking mess over him, your orgasm quickly approaching.

Sorry this is so long, they're all just terrible and complicated people who have horrible messy relationships with everything. They require intense explanation!!

Legacy: he/him. Also responds to it/its, but wouldn't necessarily label himself that way if asked. Otherwise, he doesn't care much for labels. OOC, he's acespec but doesn't put many restrictions on who he's interested in - he's kind of a slut that way.

Dave: he/him, although he doesn't care too much. Like Legacy, he's unlabelled. His standards are basically "anything that moves," but he's pretty arospec - the only person he'd consider maintaining a serious connection to is Legacy.

Henry: will only accept he/him, he finds anything else very disrespectful. He's bi, but he's not really interested in romance or sex right now, he's too married to his research. (And, like, his dead wife, also.)

Peter: he/him. He actually labels himself! He would call himself transheteroflexible, he just doesn't talk about it all that much. He's got bigger issues.

Blackjack: responds to any pronouns, but if you asked he'd say he/him. He calls himself gay as an umbrella term, but doesn't have any more specifics than that. OOC, he's probably on the arospec!

Dee: she/they lesbian. (she's just like me fr!) She gave a lot of thought to this while she was distracting herself, so they would actually describe themself that way! I personally think she worries a lot about counting as femme or butch while also not having the best conceptualization of either identity. But at least we have lesbians in this godforsaken world.

Jake: if you ask, he'd say "he/it," but he only uses it/its in the fucked up way where he feels like if he chooses the dehumanization then it's totally fine and he actually doesn't care. So, out of canon, he/him! (note: I'm absolutely not saying it/its is inherently dehumanizing, both the other mods use it/its!! I just think Jake has problems in his mind.) He's really repressed about his sexuality, he's (regretfully and messily -s) been with Legacy but his emotions on that are so complicated he tries and fails to absolutely never think about it again. What he has going on with Roger is a lot less fucked up, but he's still weird about it. I don't think he'd call himself any kind of queer, but he's probably bisexual.

Roger: he/him, but he's dabbled with she on occasions. He thinks he's completely romantically destitute and nobody will ever love him, so he hasn't bothered with putting a name to his sexuality, but he's the kind of guy to say "everyone likes men, that's normal!" He is in for some incredibly eye-opening months with the Damned for sure.

Harry: he/him, he'd call himself bi. He knows this because he had a thing with Joe, and he assumes that attraction to women is a universal constant even though he personally leans heavily towards men.

Arden and Joel's First House

I thought I would show a couple small screenshots I took of Adren and Joel's first house I built them! I used the loan mod to help them afford it and they officially paid it all of today in game!

Current Month in TOA: Lone Moon

This month is event month, so there will be no new mission board! But like last year, the June & July Mission Board will be extended to run through the end of August. The Unaffiliated requirement remains in effect for the Unaffiliated & Faculty-specific tasks.

The event will run from August 1st to August 31st. Signups are now closed - stay tuned for more information tomorrow at noon EST!

Our monthly submission limit on the site that hosts our event signups has been reset so everyone is free to take the quiz for fun now.

We will be announcing a second 5th-Year Anniversary activity on August 4th and another on August 8th. This will not require IC participation. Stay tuned for the details.

Please don’t forget to leave feedback on our feedback poll for this month! We do check the responses regularly, so if you have concerns during the event, the feedback poll is an appropriate place to pop in. Alternatively, the mods’ DMs are always open. We're wiping the Wanted List this month so our character wish list will be fresh for the new year.

Important Updates

The requirements to master a lord class acquired for participation in an event have been updated. You cannot master the class with the same event that you acquired it, but any official event afterwards (Arena, Ethereal ball, etc.) can count for its mastery

We are changing our event schedule for all subsequent years: there will now only be ONE Arena event per year, not two, and it will be held in November. Originally, the biannual Arena design was implemented to rigorously test the combat manual, which was brand new at the time. Now that the manual is more or less stable, we've decided that two Arena events is no longer necessary. Because we already had an Arena event this year in June though, the next Arena won't take place until November 2025.

TOA runs a lot of events, and it makes it difficult for our members (and the mods) to have a life outside of TOA or reply to regular threads in a timely manner. Many of our members also have great ideas of their own and have expressed interest in running their own mini events during the year, but there just hasn't been a good time for them when TOA has a big event every other month. We hope that removing the second Arena will give everyone some breathing room.

TBH I don’t have a ton of Strahd OCs, since a lot of my NPCs are still based on characters that do exist in the books or in published mods, but here are a few characters i’ve put enough work into that I would largely call them my own! ty for the ask!

I did a bunch of changes to Khazan and Exethanter — now they’re the same character! KE (she/they) was one of Strahd’s most loyal mages when he and Barov came in to conquer Barovia, and committed lots and lots of war crimes with him. However, people weren’t too happy with this conquest, and among the people who loathed it was a certain Lord Argynvost. Initially, KE hated Argynvost, and the sentiment was returned. But through a series of chance encounters and battles where they definitely had those scenes where one character has their weapon up against the other’s throat and they’re staring into each other’s eyes with a little too much passion and desire, an eventual romance bloomed between the pair. It had to be a secret, of course, but it was a sincere, true love. KE’s son, Godfrey, even decided to pledge himself to Argynvost and his Order.

But all good things come to an end, and despite KE’s pleas to Strahd to find some other way to settle this conflict, Strahd slaughtered Argynvost. Furious beyond measure, KE made it her personal mission to ensure that Strahd spent the rest of his eternity suffering as he had caused them to suffer. They, having heard about the mountain where Strahd claimed his vampiric power, ascended to the summit and found a way to live forever. Since then, they have set themselves as a guardian of the mountain’s secrets, and see themself as a warden over Strahd’s imprisonment in Barovia. Time and hatred have begun to eat away at their memories though, even the memories of the love that spurred them to such drastic means to begin with..

I had a whole thing typed out about my guy Arden but that got deleted, so… now I’m a bit upset by that lol. Maybe I’ll come back later and add it, but.. eh.

Simeon is very calculated and elegant in his approach to flirting, making sure to come across respectfully. He tends towards chivalrous gestures and heartfelt compliments, doing whatever he can to make you feel specially admired.

Once in a relationship together, Simeon puts a lot of thought and effort into creating special dates for you as a way of conveying his passion. Not every date is meticulously planned and elaborately orchestrated as he's equally happy just to run errands together, but he enjoys going out of his way to do something for you.

Part of the reason Simeon puts such a large emphasis on his actions towards you is due to the fact he isn't very big on PDA out of embarrassment and nerves. He doesn't mind holding hands, or walking arm in arm together, or any other small, innocuous gestures though he generally prefers to keep affectionate displays private.

One way to compensate for lack of PDA is that Simeon enjoys buying matching couple sets to make sure the two of you are always noticeably together. Matching perfumes, color coordinated outfits, and matching phone lockscreens are a staple for the two of you, although matching jewelry or anything else that catches your eye he's more than happy to participate.

Despite his aversion to public affection, Simeon is a big fan of receiving romantic affections, or really any attention you can offer him, in private. His favorite is when you play with his hair during a cuddle session, reading books in tandem with each other, or spontaneously slow dancing in a dimly lit room.

In general, Simeon is a very doting and loving boyfriend. He often makes sure his s/o's needs are met by delivering drinks and snacks to his lover whilst they work, offering words of encouragement, and giving advice to direct them in the right direction whenever they have a problem.

When it comes to matters between the sheets, Simeon is a very generous and gentle lover who puts his attention into every detail down to what scent of candle is burning. He's very particular and enjoys taking his time with you, especially as he isn't very experienced. Anything promiscuous can make Simeon flustered quite easily, and it's overly easy to get him worked up without even trying. He gives his best effort, though, and is eager to do whatever he needs to satisfy you.
