honestly i wish we had actual advice on how to be so productive but for us it's truly just a mix of having more free time than most people and currently having this blog as our main pursuit (we're currently in a stressful situation where there's very little we can actually do about it but wait for things to happen, and we like running this blog as our main distraction because it helps others). under typical circumstances, two or three is a good day for us, too.

if you'd like some advice on how we actually do the packs, though, i can give these tips:

when i think about the role the headmate would have, i think about how exactly they would go about performing it, and i try to incorporate details of that into the template. (e.g. give them an interest that has to do with how they do their roles)

i also think about how they're likely to interact with other members of the system (e.g. if they would do things that require protectors to intervene, if they would need to be around caretakers a lot, etc.)

listing just the themes for xenogenders is markedly easier than adding specific labels. however, mogai archive blogs that tag by theme (our go-to is radiomogai) are good for finding specific genders if you do want to do that.

not all systems would be comfortable with this, but since everyone in our system is, it's common for us to get the idea for a template by combining traits from a few of our headmates then adding or removing traits such that they're not really the same as their inspirations but we can tell where they came from

sometimes we get ideas for roles or functions to include by going onto pluralpedia and looking for random pages and then clicking links from them until we see something for future use

don't be afraid to include themes or details that seem out-of-nowhere. if it's not something the requester directly told you not to include, then including really random interests or going in an unexpected direction with the request can make for a really good post.

btw, we've seen your packs around and we really like them, so we'd like to say we're honored you're coming to us with this question!

More info: Felix is a young jester, who loves to play pranks on their headmates and plan fun parties. !! Enjoys playing pretend and acting like other headmates, but often, because of th⭐ir silly jokes and puns, you can tell that it's laugh. Zi tries as best as fun can to make people laugh, making a fool of themself and playing to people's humor, but won't do anything too demeaning. 

They love to study bugs and play games, and listen to music that makes them feel good. When this offputs others, it makes ha feel sad. They hate negativity, or when someone purposefully brings down the mood or energy. Dark jokes/humor is okay, but when star thinks it may be triggering/too dark, they change the subject as best they can. 

If you want a distraction, Sparky is your fool! They'll try to entertain you as best as they can (showing you your interests, playing music you like, ect.) But if you have work, they will avoid it like the plague.

More info: Loki is a wolfwalker, who prefers to spend hir time in the forest with other woodland creatures, not much fond of the affairs of humans. Vae is naturally timid and hesitant towards others, and pushes against authority and following rules. Being told what to do unless it's absolutely necessary is one of its biggest pet peeves. 

Vae likes folk music and fairytales, stories of mythological creatures and natural events. If you want to become woods friend, be sure to give hir snacks and tell him stories that interest wild.
