Bullet Planning App - A Quick Note-making Tool

With the increasing dependency on smartphone apps for almost everything we do daily, whether to record quick journals or to record daily routines, we have to install separate apps for everything. So, a genius developer saw this problem as an opportunity and ended up building the Bullet Planning app that could take care of it all.

Does a USB drive get heavier as you store more files on it?

Nope. Paradoxically (and theoretically), the more you save on a flash drive, the lighter it gets.

USB drives use Flash memory, which means the the ones and zeros of the data are stored on transistors.

When you save data, a binary zero is set by charging the float gate of the transistor, and a binary one is set by removing the charge.

To charge it, we add electrons, and the mass of each electron is 0.00000000000000000000000000091 grams.

This means that an empty USB drive (which mostly holds zeros) weighs more than a full USB drive (which has ones and zeros). Add data, reduce the weight.

Today in my personal theatre of ye olde me yelling at clouds:

I enter a shoe shop. Said shoe shop also has a website which lacks an option of checking availability of shoes in their physical shops. Imagine: a huge empty space with minimalistic cushions, lots of touch screen monitors/big tablets, and in the background, behind a strange metal contraption, a bunch of shoe boxes.

One of the sales people approaches and asks if I need help. I don't, but sure, tap the screen for me, why not, you're getting paid for that. In the meantime, I mention the site doesn't let people check the shoe availability. To which the sales person helpfully answers:

"But the app does!"

I implode.

I'd have much rather preferred to explode, but I wouldn't take out my rage on a shop employee who's not responsible for website maintenance. And so I shall explode here instead.

If it's possible to look up product availability in one access channel, it means the database accepts such a query and returns a result. That means it's a simple matter of adding a button to the website with an API call that would run the same query and return the same result.

Not adding it to the website has been someone's deliberate choice.

Fuck that person.

If something is possible in one access channel, it should possible in all access channels. Simple as that. I want a fully functional website, for fuck's sake.

Ok, take two, but I'm not panic deleting this one out of hopelessness if something gets in the way of my plans this time!

I'm an autistic and chronically ill adult stuck still living with my abusive family. I am unsafe here and have very few essential resources to put it lightly! I would like to NOT be stuck here! So I'm trying to leave but don't have much of anything that's mine.

So please help or share this around? Anything would be greatly appreciated and will either go to helping me get out, managing any necessities while I'm still here, or helping me once I'm actually out.

waow... having a new laptop is such a thrilling experience I have Animal Jam AND!!!! Firefox (WITH ALL MY TABS) opened at the same time! I am typing a post while a game is opened ON MY SECOND MONITOR!!! and my laptop is only lagging a little and isn't even that hot!!! my previous laptop would've shut down at this point..... i wonder if I can play a game while watching a video.....

(note: by "new laptop" I mean a used office laptop that's already at least 5 years old, the newest thing I own is the monitor and my tablet lol)

petty !! hi hi hi!!! I was rereading you analysis post for cosmetic playlover (incredible as always thank you for existing and sharing that existence) and I noticed there’s a lot of pictures so I gotta ask 👁️👁️ how do you get around the 10 picture limit for posts?

@chaosciara, simple answer - I'm old(er), so I use a desktop.

Sometimes it helps to still have a Blackberry because I do not experience the modern app life, which is the issue.

If you are using the app on your mobile device, it limits you to only ten images, but using the actual website version (like typing tumblr.com into your web browser) allows you to put THIRTY images in the post (but at this point, I think I am entitled to a fifty image limit just because I want it, and by golly, I deserve it!).
