Dizi 10’ar dakikalık kısa bölümlerden oluşuyor. 3 farklı hikaye olarak seri yapılmış. Yine bir okul ödevi tadında kısacık eğlencelik minnak diziler. Her birinde tanıdığımız, sevdiğimiz oyuncuları görmemiz mümkün.
The Universe's Star;
Romance Full of Life;
Çok uzun süredir polis memur sınavlarına hazırlanan So In-Sung 8 kez başarısız olmuştur.
Queen of Ring;

Queen of the Ring | Drama Review
A society where people are judged by appearances. A fantasy romance drama series where a girl finds a magical ring that transforms her into the most datable person.
Mo Nan Hee was never the attractive girl where guys would show interest. Until one day, she gets a magical ring that transformed her looks. Meanwhile, Park Se Gun, the most popular guy on campus for his looks and known to be shallow and dates attractive girls, falls head over heels for Nan Hee to her transformation. But Nan Hee was different from the other girls he dated in that she is socially inept and violent. Somehow, he finds himself falling even more in love with her despite her negative qualities…
Source: MyDramaList
Kinda Think This Was Worth a Bit of My Time
You know when you watch certain shows and then suddenly you become conflicted because you don't agree with how the show portrayed the moral of the story yet you actually enjoyed watching the show? Queen of the Ring is the perfect example. This web drama is about a girl who's supposed to be extremely ugly she never got what she yearned, love. After being disappointed by the crush she's had for months(?), she found out about her family heirloom, a magical ring. As long as someone else puts the ring on another person's finger, they start to see their dream crush in that person. And so the drama gets on from there, Se Gun - Nam Hee's crush - puts the ring onto her finger, begins seeing his dream girl in Nam Hee and they eventually start dating.
I will first talk about why I do not agree with how Queen of the Ring played out the moral of the story. The premise of this web drama is simply problematic. If you do not see a problem there, just swap the gender roles: The man becomes the one who owns the magic ring, he begins a relationship with the lady under the pretence that he is someone else. Now, look at Queen of the Ring again, using the same principles, is this web drama not problematic? Problem #1: The relationship blossomed from a lie and everybody knows that when a relationship is built on lies, it's simply a toxic relationship, a huge red flag and how do you protect a lie? You lie more.
Problem #2: The relationship was strongly focused on superficial needs. Nam Hee wore that ring, began that lie because she knew she was not good looking and Se Gun only dated drop dead gorgeous ladies. There were many instances when both leads discussed about physical appearances but they always ultimately agreed being good looking is the way of life (I'm paraphrasing here).
Really, the issue I have with this web drama is the fact that it emphasized just how important being good looking is, that being good looking makes you superior and above everyone else for a good part of the entire drama. Sure, at the end of the drama, they really teach you the moral of the story, that looks aren't everything and like what Nam Hee's mother said, you don't need to be beautiful to be loved. However, that part only came up in the last two episodes. What kind of lesson are you going to be teaching if someone who watched the show decided to drop the show before the last two episodes?
With that being said, in spite of my issues with Queen of the Ring, I still throughly enjoyed this web drama. It's one hell of a short web drama; 6 episodes and 30-ish minutes per episode. The miscommunication did not drag for half the entire drama. It has dramatic (sorta) and emotional scenes, but there were as many comedic scenes too. And you know what I absolutely loved in Queen of the Ring? Nam Hee's mother and father, now that is a relationship worthy to use to teach viewers that being "beautiful" is not everything.
I would also like to post a question before ending this review. Was it necessary to include a love triangle/rectangle in this 6-episode web drama? To all Korean writers, love triangle is not a prerequisite trope for developing your stories.
Rating: ★★★★☆

I know I need to calm the fuck down first but one word to describe episode 6: STRESS!!
📍I love seeing Hyun-woo and Hae-in having a...sort of second honeymoon in Germany but I couldn't really enjoy every scene because I'm stressing out at how fucking OBLIVIOUS the Hong family is like bitch y'all are surrounded by snakes and they're so complacent 😭😭😭 I mean it's not really their fault that there are opportunists who'd earn their trust first then slither their way to bite them in the ass, but I just find it ironic at how protective they are at their family business and wealth but they can't see through the REAL people who has every intention to bring them down.
📍Speaking of which, I have read a fan theory somewhere that Mo Seul-hee is the mom of Eun-seong and Da-hye. Could be, OR Grace could be Da-hye's mom considering how Grace acted towards her. But why are they so keen at bringing the Hong family down?
📍Maybe it's just me but I don't think Da-hye is that bad, I have a feeling that she'll eventually come to her senses and take Hyun-woo's side and expose Eun-seong and co.
📍My overthinker/delulu self thinks that Soo-cheol and Da-hye's baby is actually Hyun-woo and Hae-in's kid. I mean, it wasn't shown how they lost their baby...yet. So Hae-in either miscarried, or she gave birth to a still born child? But what if the child is actually alive and one of those evil bitches cooked up some shit to make it seem like Hyun-woo and Hae-in's baby died, and then that baby was registered as Soo-cheol and Da-hye's kid? I know it sounds insane, but we're only on episode 6 so more crazy shit could happen in the future episodes, you'll never know. But my normal self says I've watched too many Filipino dramas growing up (and yes, that shit happens a lot in Filo-dramas).
📍Speaking of that kid, another theory is...what if that kid is actually Eun-seong and Da-hye's? Soo-cheol is a dumbass, and again, those bitches could have manipulated that baby's DNA test result or something. Again, that's just me being an overthinker, also I hate my Filo-drama mindset.
📍Aunt Beom-ja being so concerned about Hae-in and her dad but I also appreciate the fact that she respected her niece's request to not tell anyone about her illness. I also hope that she'll be able to help Hyun-woo clear his name and uncover Seul-hee and gang's dirty little secret.
📍BUT Y'ALL KNOW WHO STRESSED THE SHIT OUT OF ME THIS EPISODE? BAEK FUCKING HYUN-WOO!!! I am so freaking annoyed that he didn't tell Hae-in about the divorce when he had the chance. He was probably worried at how Hae-in would react plus the latter was going through medical treatments so he probably didn't want to put too much stress on her, but Hae-in was bound to find out either way so...yeah I do get why he chose to keep the divorce to himself but he could have just told the truth and suck it up, and perhaps they could communicate better when it comes to issues like this.
📍One thing I noticed about Hyun-woo is that he's brave in so many ways but also a coward on one thing. I mean he talks with Hae-in about nice things and all, and he is his wife's confidante, but I don't think I've ever heard him talk the way Hae-in does, meaning he never had the balls to talk to his wife about the..."unpleasant" side of their marriage. Hae-in was able to talk to him about her illness, the last will and testament that her mom pressured her to write, and Hyun-woo didn't even think about bringing up the divorce papers.
Prior to episode 5, I really thought that Hae-in was the one who shut him out but it was actually the other way around. Wifey may seem cold and nonchalant but if there's one person she'd listen to, it's him. Perhaps he doesn't want to say something that would upset Hae-in but the point is...she's his wife, she's supposed to know what he thinks, how he feels about certain things, even the not-so-pleasant side of their relationship. I really hope that in the next episode or the episode after that he'll be able to communicate better.
📍Hae-in's mom is terrible af. Imagine blaming your own daughter for the death of your son. I mean she didn't deserve to lose a child, but it's unfair to put all the blame on Hae-in (like why?). It's not like she endangered herself on purpose, and she had the audacity to be upset when Hae-in did something nice to her in-laws? Like what is wrong with this woman? Why can't see realize her own mistakes?
📍I kind of teared up when Hae-in was telling Hyun-woo about the things the latter should do when she dies. She could die, and this show might give us a bittersweet ending but when that time comes I'd be really, really hurt. Also, Hae-in confessing that the only reason she wrote her will about Hyun-woo not getting anything should they divorce was so that she'll be allowed to marry him 😭 (just shows she fought hard for him and she'll do absolutely anything to be with him). God I hate her mom! And yes the epilogue was so cute, now we know that they have always been in-love with each other. But I guess...they need a time-out 🤷.
📍Hae-in called Hyun-woo "yeobo" 🥹🥹🥹

List of Drama couples I’ll never get over.
[not in any particular order]
1. Choi Dal Po & Choi In Ha from “Pinocchio”
I love Park Shin Hye as an actress but most things I’ve seen her in while there is good chemistry the couple tends to be forgetful and I can live on never wondering anything else about their characters lives. However, with these two I think they were just so good together. (I’d love to see them act together again). I also feel like the characters themselves were just strongly bonded.
2. Naoki Irie & Kotoko Aihara
This one is a bit complicated. I wouldn’t say their chemistry was the absolute best but it wasn’t the worst either. However, the characters themselves and their relationship [while being completely complicated by not communicating] was lovable and memorable. The unwavering love Kotoko had, and how Naoki slowly came to fall deeply in love with her with the same unwavering amount of love (although he doesn’t like to talk about it or show it very much). Just has me always wondering how this couple is doing these days in their lives. haha
3. Shin Woo Hyun & Yi Seul Bi
While not as serious as a couple as the others on this list, and the actors having not amazing chemistry [i think Sae Ron being such an amazing actor is what pulled this off because I’m sure Woohyun felt akward acting with someone 11 years younger than him] However, I love the characters and the couple within the drama. The characters undoubtly love only each other and while they were young in the story, I honestly don’t see them having ever loved anyone else while growing older. They went to college, got married, had a family. That’s what I imagine anyway. I don’t see how after everything they’ve been through that either of them would waver to be honest. Woohyun literally felt like he was dying being separated from her and they were so connected if one got hurt the other felt it.
4. Jung Joon Hyun & Kim Bok Joo
Sigh...absolute relationship goals. Also their chemistry was amazing (and real..although they broke up later in real life *Cries*) but I just will never get over how adorable and loving this couple was. There is absolutely no way these two ever wavered from each other. I like to think they probably still had immature arguments haha but they never strayed too far from each other and they are still very much in love and married with little athlete children.
5. Park Se Gun & Mo Nan Hee
This couple is complicated too, i feel like a lot of people probably would think they broke up after the series “ended”. But I don’t think these characters would. They got together in the worst of ways let’s be honest, and if Se Gun was still the same Se Gun as in episode 1 he most definitely would break up with her. But see that’s the thing, he’s not the same Se Gun as in episode 1; he’s very different. He learned to love with his heart and not his eyes. (Although I hate that everything she stars in Seul Gi is playing an “ugly” girl when she’s actually really pretty but whatever that’s another story). At the end of the drama it’s clearly shown that he loves her for who she is, and because he loves her she is the most beautiful to him. So while he might think other girls are attractive I don’t think he’d give up what he has. He knows that they are meant to be together.
6. Ying Zheng & Gongsun Li
[this is probably influenced by my love for Vin Zhang and Diliraba Dilmurat but I’ll ignore that haha]
I must admit this couple isn’t the best, and I certainly wouldn’t say relationship “goals” necessarily. They went through a lot of shit. He was devoted to her, but he had his own problems he could never sort through and thus was always guarded against her. She ended up falling very deeply in love with him and gave him everything she could. However, I think the ending shows that while she did what she did for him, she also still had loyalty and ties to things other than him that she couldn’t completely let go of [and that’s understandable]. While they were ill fated they did love each other, and I just wish the characters could have ended up living together happily, but it just wasn’t meant to be for them. I think that’s what makes me not able to forget them or let them go.
7. Luo Fu Sheng & Tian Ying
[I actually haven’t watched but a few episodes but I plan to finish it eventually]
However, even with just a few episodes and clips and having seen the ending. I can’t get over this couple. They were just meant to be and it’s sad that they couldn’t in that life time.
8. Yi Yeok & Shin Chae Kyung
Oh how my heart breaks for this couple, and the tragic story it’s really based on. [It’s said that King Jung Jong would often stare longing towards the area his wife was exiled to. Scholars strongly believe he did in fact love his wife]. This couple loved each other so much, with everyone trying to pull them apart they stayed strong and trusted each other and did everything they could to stay together until they realized they couldn’t protect each other that way and the only way they could guarantee each other was safe was to be apart. Can you imagine that kind of heartache. I just want them to be happy dangit!!! Why can’t they just be together!
9. Chen Qian Qian, Han Shuo
But I can already tell you this couple is engraved in my heart. The chemistry between them was AMAZING!. The characters themselves were a bit complicated lol. She never really was communicating with him fully until close to the end. She kept hiding things and lying. I also hate how she never really would apologize, she did say sorry but she never really explained herself or anything when she did wrong to him [not until near the end when he finds everything out and finally understands all her past actions] But he was devoted to her so strongly, he loved her so much. At first she saw him as her character she created but she fell in love with him just as deeply as he did. Willing to stay with him and never return to her world. And he was willing to let her go so that she wouldn’t be alone in that world missing him. In the real world they got a happy ending, (although I must admit there is a few things hazy with the plot but that’s another post entirely). Point is they got to be together so I’m happy.
10. Han Yun Xi, Long Fei Ye
[Spoilers]
Ah I really loved these two. I wish there had been even more sweet moments. However, they were caught up in a fight between kingdoms (usual cdrama) and ultimately they had a tragic ending. She had to sacrifice herself, and while the drama has two different endings the “happy” one isn’t entirely clear on if she is alive or not. I’d like to think that she is, but in all honesty she isn’t. I like to think (As depressing as it is) that he lived on but never loved again, he might have married someone but I doubt it. She was his one love and there was no room in his heart for anyone else. I bet he planted all the flowers and herbs that she had mentioned and visits the gardens everyday thinking about her. It’s sad really. They deserved a happy ending, and deserved to grow old and love each other and live simply.
Bonus: i have 2 from movies not dramas
1. Yin Xiang & Chen Xiang
[This might have more to do with me just loving the movie than the couple idk.] But either way I think they were a cute couple. She was willing to do anything to see him, and willing to never see him again without telling him the truth [that it was actually her he loved...long story watch the movie] so that he could live in peace and be happy. Even if that meant she would lose her only love and be cast out the palace. He on the other hand, after finding out the truth never wanted to let her go. I like to hope they never had any other problems after the “end” and got to be happy forever the way it ended.
2. Kim & Pie
These too were too cute for their own good. They didn’t communicate well though I must admit and that lead to alot of their problems. But I love how they both finally accepted each other and could fully love one another.

9 K-DRAMAS THAT’LL MOTIVATE YOU TO PURSUE YOUR DREAMS
You can do it!
Sometimes it’s difficult to find motivation to complete goals whether they are small or big. It’s easier to accept defeat or try to procrastinate. However, there’s nothing more satisfying than fulfilling your objectives and dreams. Be inspired and gain motivation from these characters who pursue their dreams despite various obstacles.
Start-Up
Start-Up features four, very driven, characters interested in start-ups and technology. Seo Dal-mi (Bae Suzy) and Won In-jae (Kang Han-na) are sisters who were separated after their parents’ divorce and develop a rivalry. Nam Do-san (Nam Joo-hyuk) was a math prodigy as a child, but hasn’t had much luck with his company Samsan Tech yet. Han Ji-pyeong (Kim Seon-ho) was a disadvantaged orphan, but transformed his life with the help of Dal-mi’s grandmother. The foursome learn and grow as they pursue their tech dreams.
Record of Youth
Record of Youth also centers on young people chasing after their dreams, but in the entertainment industry. Sa Hye-jun (Park Bo-gum) and Won Hae-hyo (Byeon Woo-seok) are both model-turned actors hoping to make it big. An Jeong-ha (Park So-dam) quits a secure office job at a conglomerate in order to take on her dream job of being a makeup artist. As they go after their dreams, there are people who block their paths. However, they strive to overcome setbacks as they further their careers.
Itaewon Class
Itaewon Class showcases the battle between Park Saeroyi (Park Seo-jun) and food conglomerate Jangga Group. Saeroyi gets expelled from school, loses his father, and becomes a convict because of Jangga Group’s CEO and his son. These unfair events are enough to anger anyone, but Saeroyi overcomes his anger and channels it into creating a bar-restaurant. The callous and intelligent Jo Yi-seo (Kim Da-mi) decides to help grow Saeroyi’s business. Along with the other DanBam crew, the pair fight back against Jangga Group.
Doctors
Doctors proves that anyone can turn their life around with determination and hard work. Yoo Hye-jeong (Park Shin-hye) had a tough childhood, and is a headstrong delinquent in high school. Due to her unruly behavior and her financial situation, Hye-jeong’s future does not look particularly promising. However, she is changed after meeting compassionate teacher Hong Ji-hong (Kim Rae-won) who inspires her to change her path and become a doctor. 13 years later, they reunite after Hye-jeong has become a neurosurgeon.
Fight for My Way
Fight for My Way shows four friends whose lives don’t go as they had initially planned. In particular, Ko Dong-man (Park Seo-jun), Choi Ae-ra (Kim Ji-won), and Baek Sul-hee (Song Ha-yoon) are not satisfied with their current job situations. Ae-ra hasn’t given up on her dream though, and pursues a new opportunity. This inspires Dong-man to find a career that makes him happy as well. Facing difficult people and circumstances, the four friends grow as they pursue their dreams and change their lives. You might be stuck in a situation, but you can still go after your goals.
The Producers
The Producers takes a look at four people behind the scenes of the broadcasting world. Baek Seung-chan (Kim Soo-hyun) becomes a rookie producer in order to work closely with his crush. However, he ends up joining Ra Joon-mo (Cha Tae-hyun)’s show instead. Joon-mo struggles to revive ratings for his show and seeks help from his friend and fellow producer Tak Ye-jin (Kong Hyo-jin). Lastly, Cindy (IU) is a famous singer who debuted at a young age. This drama shows how things won’t always be smooth sailing even when you get the job you aimed for. However, the characters work hard and with passion in order to protect their dreams.
Welcome to Waikiki
Welcome to Waikiki gathers three young men and women who run a guesthouse together while pursuing their dreams. At first, the guesthouse is managed by the three guys who individually aspire to be a successful director, actor, and screenwriter. The three girls who join them also have different career goals: pastry chef, journalist, and model. Many humorous, embarrassing situations befall the six characters as they are sometimes forced to do things they don’t want to do while they pursue better opportunities.
Rookie Historian Goo Hae-ryung
Rookie Historian Goo Hae-ryung centers around free-spirited Goo Hae-ryung who focuses on studying instead of romance unlike most of her peers. She works hard to become a historian while fighting gender stereotypes. Despite being looked down upon due to being a woman, Hae-ryung doesn’t hesitate to voice her opinions and defend people who have been wronged. She’s an admirable character who stands up for what she believes in even if it means going up against the king. Be motivated by her bravery to pursue your dreams as well!
Oh My Ghost
Oh My Ghost’s heroine, Na Bong-sun (Park Bo-young), is a timid assistant chef with low self-esteem. She’s not confident enough in her cooking skills and has a secret crush on her boss Kang Sun-woo (Cho Jung-seok). After getting possessed by the ghost of a lustful virgin Shin Soon-ae (Kim Seul-gi), she changes completely and catches the attention of Sun-woo. With Soon-ae’s help, Bong-sun gains the confidence to show her culinary skills and go after the man she’s interested in. Sometimes it’s hard to believe in yourself and external help can make all the difference. An encouraging friend can help you realize the potential you had inside of you all along.
Which of these motivational stories do you love the most? Be sure to watch all these shows and more, on Netflix!
