now that kaalki lives with max i really wonder how they're gonna solve the whole markov situation. like. sure, markov has his own interests apart from max but they still live together and share most of their time together, which means that even if max tried to keep that secret from him he would eventually come up short on excuses to explain where here's going all the time.

It’s a bit late compared to when I wanted to finish it, sorry, but here’s Riddle in Twst mlb au!

Now, I would follow my trend with Ace and Deuce and give Riddle a hero name in Japanese, but I headcanon him as a little British-French boy. His mum is British and his dad is French (Riddle can’t speak a lick of French other than au revoir, I’ve decided).

I think it’d be sweet if, even though he doesn’t know his dad all that well (allegedly, I don’t know a Mr Rosehearts), he wants to feel a connection, associating his father with freedom like how he associates being hidden beneath a mask as a hero as freedom.

I just think it’d be sweet guys.

I don’t know if you guys can tell, but I tried to make his little cowlick, ahoge things into little antennas while still keeping the shape of a heart. Pollen matches him.

Slowly but surely, the kwamis look less ugly the more I draw them.

I'm thinking about a universe in which the Zodiac Miraculous are scattered across the world and make very occasional appearances in the show. And then I think about a different Zoé Lee, who:

spontaneously found the Dragon Miraculous before MLB started

became a big superhero and celebrity in NYC, and got Audrey to fund her education because of the clout

clashes with Sparrow and Uncanny Valley (they think she's a showboat, Zoé thinks they're really cool and acts cool to lowkey impress them)

would only appear in the NY special (RIGHT after Miracle Queen)

shows that maybe the reason why Chloé thought she could impress Audrey by being a superhero is because her half-sister is a superhero hotshot that Audrey seemingly likes more than Chloé

serves as foreshadowing of how dedicating one's entire life to being a superhero can severely impact one's health (coughS4Marinettecough)

crashes out, loses public support and teams up with Sparrow and Uncanny Valley, opting to become a legit hero instead

DC/DP/MLP

To be honest, I haven't seen many crossovers between these franchises.

Although I completely understand why there aren't many, I would like to know your opinion and a vague idea about this crossing.

Edit: Okay, so apparently, I am blind despite my glasses bc that says DP x DC x MLP (My Little Pony). However, if you like DP x DC x MLB (Miraculous LadyBug), then you can read more below.

I think MLP crossovers are just... not used for many reasons, mostly bc it's kinda hard to fit in the dynamics of the Mane 6 and most other fandoms have human characters 😭

However, if I had to make an idea for DP x DC x MLP, then I'd make everyone ponies and Gotham City would be an actual city within Equestria. Rarity is related to the Waynes or something. I imagine that the Mane 6 visits Gotham, and then accidentally open a portal to the Ghost Zone and meets alicorn Danny Phantom.

Hmm, I feel as tho the lack of crossovers between all three is bc there's just so many characters and it's difficult to work all three together with so many parts to it, ex: akuma, ghosts, the Joker, billionaire vigilantes AND villains, resurrections, government prosecution, France, etc. It's just so much to work with and when you add the entirety of the Batfam with the Miraculous holders and Team Phantom, it's just absolutely bonkers.

An idea that I'd like to see is where Marinette is an exchange student from France and Maddie and Jack are a host family (much to Danny's horror and confusion bc he had NO idea). It doesn't take long for Marinette to find out about Danny's identity and soon, she also reveals her own. Together, they make a very good team, but things go badly when the GIW (working together with Hawk Moth after he finds out that Ladybug is in the US) comes back into town and chases both heroes off into Gotham (maybe they try to find Jazz, since she's already stationed there?), where they crash into the city and then cause even more chaos.

It would be also fun if Adrien, Sam, and Tucker found each other and then started working together to find Marinette and Danny. (Tucker and Sam are staring at Adrien in bafflement, wondering how he knows how to put his clothes on, while Adrien is SWEATING trying to hide Plagg.)

Another au cause I'm on a roll (long car ride listening to music) but what if miraculous ladybug au except the only similarity is the identity porn and convoluted love square where dream team are heroes and I can't figure out which identity would be in love with which but imagine:

Hero George is in love with hero dream and hero dream then rants about this spontaneous date he is going on in his civilian life and how he's kinda apprehensive of it (because I was listening to When He Sees Me) and then he goes on said date (who is obv civilian George) and ends up falling head over heels for him so he tells this to hero George who is angsting over himself. Naturally, dream's angst would come in the form of knowing that civilian George is with someone else even tho he is interested enough to keep meeting with him.

OR civilian george liking this cute blonde guy whose always preoccupied with something (and maybe someone?? George hopes not) and feeling kinda bad for his hero teammate who obviously has some sort of crush on him but he already likes someone else so

And the entire situation naturally devolving into the each of them gaining feelings for the other version of their crush simultaneously so they grapple with completely unnecessary conflict in classic mlb style.

Sapnap is just there with popcorn completely invested in the drama (he, too, has not figured out their identities and legit thinks his teammates have ones hell of a love life because the three of them collectively only have one braincell which is exclusively spent on battle strategies to defeat evil or whatever)

I’m gonna cry… I had an entire analysis for this typed out but my wifi is shit so it refused to post😭😭 anyways, this is based off of the @ladybugout-au permanent superhero team. I decided against doing Luka’s Cadmeancio suit because I 1. Didn’t want to draw him in orange and 2. I was already pushing it with making a purple/red Neurofoxin. Only reason I made her purple is because natural coloring obviously doesn’t mean shit to the character designers if Juleka gets to be a purple red tiger. Anyways, here’s my take on their suits!

Hecattack: I wanted to diverge from the furry/bdsm influences Chat’s suit got, so I gave him looser fit pants, a hood and combat boots. His suit was lowkey inspired by Red Hood’s design because, dammit, DC may be super dark, but they know how to design characters well (something MLB could stand to learn from ಠ_ಠ) anyways, along with the hood and paneled top+cargo pants+combat boots, I gave him cat-shaped knee pads, similar to Ivan’s turtle shell knee pads. You will also notice a trend with a lot of my hero suit designs, which is fingerless gloves. Yes, this’ll take away from the cat claw thing Chat had going on, but I’m ok with that. To go with his punk/rock band aesthetic, he got combat boots with the signature cat paw steel toes. His tail is pretty much the same along with the ears. His mask is also different, covering the bottom half of his face. This also takes away from the cat sclera thing the original Chat had, but Luka isn’t a furry so… also, the mask covering his mouth alludes to his calm nature and quiet personality, not feeling the need to play around, especially during a battle,which was where the original Chat erred most often. Luka also has very expressive eyes, so I wanted to push that, like, even if he doesn’t talk much, he’s still a good communicator. Plus, when cats are hunting, they’re quiet! Which the original Chat cannot relate to!

Ladybug: ok, so her suit is still pretty basic, since I wanted to stick with he AU’s canon description of her suit. The main bodice/legs are similar to the season 4 suit after she calls on the lucky charm, but the sleeves are slightly different. I also got rid of the “reverse” polka dots cuz they just look ugly imo. Her gloves are also fingerless, since I feel like that would 1. Lend better to doing yo-yo tricks and 2. They just look better (u_u) anyways, her hair is still the same, as well as her mask. It’s pretty basic but eh…

Neurofoxin: her design is also super simple, but I also wanted to veer away from the gaudy orange normally associated with the fox miraculous. If she can make her tiger suit purple and red, I can make her fox costume reddish purple!! She’s goth, she’s not gonna walk around in *o r a n g e*. And I stand by that. Anyways, like I said her suit is relatively simple, the panels of the suit modeled after Volpina’s actually, because despite how I hate Lila and her stupid sausage link hair, her volpina suit was pretty cute. Instead of giving her a jacket w/coattails or a belt/sash to be her tail, I decided to make it her hair, cuz even in civilian form it’s pretty long. I also decided that instead of a dark grey/black to purple, I’d make the tips the same cream as her “underbelly” panel, as I wanted to incorporate the cream in more than just that singular spot. I also pulled her bang back because even if she’s goth, she still needs to be able to see properly as a superhero. Plus, I like Juleka’s eyes, and I feel like Trixx would like her to show off more. Anyways, besides the morph suit and her hair being a bit longer than normal+a different color, she has a cropped leather jacket,same color as her suit. There’s also paneling on the side/back of her thighs/back that’s a darker red/purple color. Again, to go with her rockstar/alt aesthetic, I gave her combat boots as well, though hers are knee high, plus I forgot to draw the laces, but eh. Fun fact: I headcanon the Couffaine twins as being super tall for their age, but Juleka is taller than her twin for now+her boots are heeled.

Fukiya: for Kagami’s suit, I pulled inspo from someone else’s LBO AU fanart, although I can’t remember who’s it was. Originally, I was gonna go for a suit similar to Kagami’s fencing gear, but decided to go w the suit she has now so it’d be more reminiscent of a bee. I gave her a sleeveless, cropped kimono, the bottom of which has a honeycomb pattern and an ombré going from dark yellow to black. Her obi has two layers, the bottom layer being a bright yellow and the outside layer being black. Her sleeves are similar to Queen Bee’s, but with an added black line. Her legs are completely black with the exception of her knee pads, which are a bright yellow and octogon shaped. I wanted her to look more bee-esque than Queen Bee or Vesperia (her character design is 🤢) so I gave her the yellow torso with black limbs, than made the kimono collar thick to look like a neck ruff or smth. I honestly struggled with her design a bit but it looks ok in the end so I’m happy with it :) also, Kagami is the shortest because I said so!

Heavy Matal: oh, Ivan, you absolute teddy bear of a guy. I adore the Iván of this AU, he’s so sweet, a gentle giant, so I wanted to focus on making him look slightly softer than the rest of the heroes, despite being the turtle holder. I gave him his signature cargoes, although they’re pants instead of shorts when he’s transformed, a sleeveless hoodie, and “turtle”-neck compression-esque undershirt, the sleeves long enough to be, you guessed it, fingerless gloves! The only reason Kagami is the only one with full gloves is because I wanted to giver a more serious/conservative look. Mari’s been ladybug so long she deserves to have cute, fingerless gloves! Anyways, back to Ivan! His hoodie is two toned, like a turtle’s shell, with the front being a light green. It’s patterned to look like a turtle shell underbelly, with a nice big pocket to hold whatever. He wears elbow- and knee-pads, which are shaped like little turtle shells. He wears regular Vans-style tennies, and his mask is similar to Carapace’s, except it cover the majority of the front of his face (think Kid Flash), and is colored/patterned similarly to a box turtle, with red accents along his cheekbones and his little tuft of hair is his usual blond with an ombré to that same red. (Ignore the ear I forgot to color in plz, I don’t feel like editing anymore T-T)

Ok, so that’s it for today’s character designs! I’m working on redesigning pretty much everyone’s civilian and hero costumes. I haven’t mentioned on this blog, but on pretty much every Gabe!Salt fic I’ve read, I will tell you, whoever the hell designed most of the characters in MLB, you deserve to be fired and then arrested. I’m so sorry, but there’s no way ur gonna convince me Fashion Designer™️ Marinette Dupain-Cheng walks out of her house every day, wearing ugly ass ballet flats+”denim” jeggings in that shade of pink. No way. And don’t even get me started on Gabriel’s candy-cane, red pants and duck hair headass, because omg… that man is supposed to be a world renowned Fashion Designer™️, one of the best in Paris. IN. PARIS!! No fucking way. No way. I get, you want ur characters to be simple and easily recognizable, but that doesn’t mean they have to be ugly!! And I get it, Adrien’s supposed to have a model-off-duty look, but wth are those shoes? Plus, why does he never change for his photo shoots? He’s a MODEL! I get it, you can’t even spend money to change the transformation animation to whatever the characters are actually wearing but wtf??? If you were gonna have any kid’s show where we get to see a lot of different clothes/outfits, this would be the show!! Two of the main characters are fashion designers, one of the minor antagonists is the daughter of a fashion magazine owner and your other main character is a model. IN PARIS!! A city known for its fashion and “romance”. And ur telling me you can’t add a few more outfits to the show??? That’s called lazy writing/animation.

Ugh, sorry abt that rant, but the character designs genuinely piss me off. It’s bullshit.

I digress.

I've noticed something in the MLB fandom which is that a lot of Chloe stans (not all of them) seem to dislike/hate Felix while a lot of Felix stans (not all of them) seem to dislike/hate Chloe which is interesting because Felix and Chloe are really similar and have some things in common.

I've noticed that too. From what I've seen in the fandom , is that you either Stan one or the other or you hate both. From my observations :

People who stan Chloe but dislike Felix seem to mostly be Chloe Stans and some Adrien stans

People who stan Felix but dislike Chloe seem to be mostly Felix stans with some Nathalie/Gabriel/Kagami fans

People who dislike both Characters seem to be mostly Marinette Stans and some Zoe stans as well.

Tbh , I DON'T blame Marinette stans for hating both Felix and Chloe as both have been nasty to Marinette in the past. I also can understand why some Chloe stans resent Felix because they have been told time and time again by the show that Chloe is undeserving of redemption for not repenting for any of her crimes yet in S5 we witnessed Felix pretty much get away with everything he did between Strike Back and Emotion and got to keep his miraculous and join the hero team despite being 10x worse and not apologising once. That will get anyone angry. What does confuse me is some of the Chloe disliking Felix stans that don't admit the double standard. Some Chloe disliking Felix stans do admit the double standards going on but the ones who don't puzzle me? What has Chloe ever done to Felix ? They are quite similar like you said so it's interesting some people dislike Chloe for the same reasons they like Felix for ?

Mr. Bug and Cait Sith AU | Part V

N/A: very tiny spoilers from mlb season 6.

Cait Sith can't begin to describe how his brain feels now that his mentality is different. There's something dangerous in the way his brain is chanting as it asks for revenge. He walks to the closest mirror and appreciates his transformation, he doesn't look like himself, and even though he should appreciate that because of their secret identities, he can't help but think that it feels wrong.

Adrien transforms into Mr. Bug, his hands slide slowly over Cait Sith's waist and presses a little kiss on his cheek. He wanted to kiss his shoulder, but the sharp spikes of the jacket stopped him to do so.

"We need to meet the team, tell them that Ladybug..." Mr. Bug sighs. "This will be a headache to explain. Nobody was around or recording, but I don’t know how we will be able to keep Marinette's identity a secret when Ladybug disappeared and Marinette has no memories".

"They were never able to make that kind of connections before, so they won't make them now" Cait Sith keeps looking at himself in the mirror "Marinette is very unlucky, that poor civilian was hit by Chrysalis herself, wrong place, wrong time, and because there was no miraculous cure... she just forgot everything".

Mr. Bug does his best to not cry, maybe it would be less hard it Cait Sith was indifferent, bottling his emotions as Luka is so used to do, but he wasn't doing that, instead every word was coated in his rage and all the hate he felt towards the situation.

"Only Max knows the truth, and it must stay like that" Mr. Bug declares "If we get to restore Marinette's memories, she can be Ladybug again as long as her identity is not public knowledge".

"Are we entirely sure Chrysalis doesn't know?" Cait Sith didn't want to be a pessimist, however... "I think she might–"

"We will get to that if she ever tries something. This is a very delicate situation, so I will ask Bunnyx to keep an eye on Marinette when we're not there to protect her, I know she will as long as it doesn't interrupt the timeline, I hope it won't" Mr. Bug closes his eyes, trying to focus on staying in the present. Everything is so hard.

"What about the others?" The question is simple, no further context, but the scarlet bug knows who is he talking about.

"They will try to talk to me, a simple lie that I know they will follow won't be enough, they will want to know the truth"

"Don't worry, I'll be there" Cait Sith assures, turning to look at him in the eyes "It's you and me against the world, my lord".

Adrien has to do everything in his power to not break right there.

It's very late at night, the streets are as empty as they can in a city like Paris. At the very top of the Eiffel Tower, one by one, all the Miraculers, their superhero team, start to show up. They're all tense. Being summoned to an urgent meeting was never a good signal, and the fact that Mr. Bug was the one to call for it, let them know from the very beginning that something was really wrong. Everyone was there but Ladybug, Chat Noir and Viperion, even Argos showed up, he was a few steps behind and didn't talk to anyone but he was there, which meant it was more serious that they could think.

"Yeah, that's right... I'll text the others".

Mr. Bug arrives, serious as he never is. "Let's begin the meeting. There's something I need to tell you."

"But Viperion is not here yet" Pigella points out "And Ladybug..."

The blond hero sighs "I will explain, I promise" he makes a pause and looks at what seems to be the dark night "But first I need to introduce our new addition to the team".

All the team looks up, and in the middle of the darkness, a shadow emerges, his green eyes are hypnotizing, and with a jump, he joins the rest.

"He is Cait Sith," Mr. Bug continues, "He will be my new partner from now on since I won't be able to be the holder of destruction anymore."

"What?" Rooster Bold sounds alarmed. "What do you mean?"

"A new holder? Is it not too late for that? We're at war with Chrysalis! A new guy won't be able to pick up on what we have been doing for the last ten years, it's too dangerous" Caprikid, who even as an adult kept the name (Capriman didn't have the same ring to it), crosses his arms, not very pleased with the change.

"And we really need to know what happened to Ladybug." Miss Hound plays anxiously with her weapon, using it as a stress ball.

"Yeah, man, no offense but she is the leader, you can't just show up with no explanation and expect us to be super cool about it" King Monkey balances on the railing of the tower.

Mr. Bug is desperately trying to talk, feeling overwhelmed, doubting himself. Why did Ladybug trust the guardianship to him? He is nowhere close to ready for the responsibility. He didn't command enough authority. The miraculers spoke at the same time, confused, distressed, none of them willing to listen to whatever the new leader had to say. At least until the awful screeching of claws against metal hurt their ears. All of them turned to Cait Sith, who looked at them with an unreadable expression, squatting in a catlike manner, his claws still ripping the metal on the floor.

He stands up slowly, he is like a snake who's about to attack.

"Let the man speak." His deep voice sends a shiver through their spine.

"There's no enemy. How am I going to fix that?" Mr. Bug scolds the cat, who simply shrugs. "Good lord..."

There's silence, the blond finally is able to tell them about the situation.

"Ladybug got really hurt this time" a lie, Pegasus knows, but he also understands why he has to say it "We don't know when or if she is going to be able to take her role as the guardian and leader again, so she trusted me with it".

"What do you mean hurt?" Rena Rouge sounds specially worried, more than the rest, Adrien knows why, so he sighs.

"I'm sorry, it was a rough fight, Chrysalis... She was protecting a civilian, Marinette Dupain-Cheng. " Ryuko and Argos turn so fast that Mr. Bug would be afraid they would break their necks if it weren't for the miraculous protection, the rest is doing their best to pretend they don't know her personally and in consequence that doesn't make them worried sick "She saved her life, but Marinette still got hit, for some reason we can't explain she lost all her memories and it's currently in the hospital with her parents under Viperion's protection, he is already aware of the situation".

Understanding washes over Rena Rouge's face, and Mr. Bug knows exactly why. Back then, when Marinette finally revealed her identity, she also told him and Luka everything: who knew her secrets, the pressure she was under, the sacrifices she made. It was hard to process at the beginning, but it was necessary if they wanted to have a relationship that worked.

"That's terrible! What are we going to do?" Pigella sounds worried.

"I will try to get in touch with the guardians in the temple and find out what can we do to help mademoiselle Dupain-Cheng" He assures "In the meantime I just wanted to introduce you to Cait Sith, let you know where we are standing right now, I know the situation is rough, but we're a team, and we will do this together".

There's tension and uncertainty, but the rest of the Miraculers have no reason not to trust Chat Noir. Now, Mr. Bug, and what he thinks is best for the team. He was Ladybug's right-hand man. If she isn't available, there is no one better than him. He has a heart of gold, and he is their friend.

Mr. Bug dismisses the meeting, and most of the heroes leave, except for Rena Rouge, Ryuko, Argos, and Pegasus. The new leader sighs.

The night only gets longer and longer.

Knowing how the show does little with its overstuffed team of heroes, a good chunk of Season 6's episodes will probably have some excuse like "Character X was busy at the time!"

So while I am taking my lil break from writing, I decided to do some next year planning because I'm bored. It will all be under #next year planning.

Summaries:

AU where to promote his garage chain, Wukong recruits his nephew Red to be a sexy model in the ads. Qi Xiaotian's YouTube recommendations are suddenly full of this one garage chain's ads.

AU where newly powerful Sun Wukong gets way too into his innocent monkey prince act and gets courtnapped. Thankfully, his courtnapper, the Six-Eared Macaque, and his rescuer, celestial soldier Azure Lion, have some cool weapons that Wukong can steal.

Every time a Smiling Critter dies in the factory, they wake up in the cartoon world, sharing a body with their cartoon counterpart. Everyone has settled into this weird new normalcy...until Dogday and Catnap die hours apart.

AU: In the aftermath of the train crash, the Player now finds themself stranded in the sinister Playcare, run by the Smiling Critters and their leader, CatNap. With their only hope re-routing power and diverging the Red Gas, the Player finds themselves allies among the residents, including the sole heretic of the Playcare.

Jadepeach AU where Ao Lie doesn’t get hit with the Samadhi fire and, in the present, he and Wukong are an old married couple, teaming up to train both Qi Xiaotian and Long Xiaojiao.

AU where Qi Xiaotian agrees to try and break the curse of Prince Red. Unfortunately, Red has a fondness for his new giant minotaur form...and so does Xiaotian. Smut.

AU spin-off of Ladybug, where Sabine calls PIF to help her get revenge on the school. Marinette's whole expulsion was done improperly and reeks of issues that need some...discussion.

After successfully leaving the leadership of the Demon Bull clan to his son, Old Bull moves out to the country to retire. A chance meeting with retired chef Zumu Zhu gives the two a new friend and a chance to play matchmaker for their wonderful grandsons. Unfortunately, said grandsons already know each other…and not in a good way.

After their identities are forcefully revealed, the former temp heroes decide that, to send Hawkmoth on a wild goose chase, they have sleepovers together. It is one of those sleepovers where someone asks "Hey, does anyone else get a bad feeling about Chat Noir?"
