Your take on the Victor of the 1st Quarter Quell?

I do have a very good idea how the first Quarter Quell went down and who won…however I am currently writing a fic around that so don’t want to share too much around them. Hopefully I am able to post the first chapter soon ✌️

But TA didn't get into nearly as many fights with the Felix fans as he did with the Chloe fans. And considering that he was still keen to end the show with Chloe being miserable (S5) I doubt he'll change his mind about her, especially considering he's still taking jabs at her on Twitter or in interviews,

I sometimes wonder if the writers didn't decide to make Kagami Tsurugi a senti , would Felix still keep her alive in Emotion or would he snap her out of existence like with everybody else ?

I feel she would mean nothing to him if she weren't a senti. Hard cold truths. At least that's how it is in canon. A more skilled writer would've found a way to get Felix form some fondness for her without resorting to making her a senti too. It's sadly not that hard, I've read a Feligami fic or two pre-S5 that pulled it off.

I've seen people accuse Felix of sexually harassing Kagami when he kidnapped Kagami in Pretension . What do you think of this claim. I know what he did wasn't good and knew what he did to LB in his debut was disgusting but SA'ing Kagami , I'm not sure about that.

I consider it more on the fields of kidnapping, as he did take her out of the car and away from her mother against her will.

SA... not quite??? Look, its a heavy accusation that shouldn't be thrown around willy nilly, and I'm personally sick of people using that to salt on Adrien and Marinette.

This might seem like a dark question but what really defines assault and harassment in Miraculous Ladybug ? I've seen some Kagami haters accuse her of SA'ing Adrien in Season 4 episode 2 lies when they were in the art room. I've also seen people say Chloe SA'ed Adrien when she keeps hugging him unexpectedly in Season 1 where they say Adrien looks visibly uncomfortable when Chloe hugs him. Some people also say Chat Noir harassed LB in Season 4 and some Marinette haters have said Marinette "assaulted" Adrien in the statue scene in Puppeteer. They only confirmed case of harassment and SA from the writers seemed to be when Felix harassed LB in the episode Felix. Do you think any of these claims are true or false ?

Depends on which side of the fandom you're asking. For example, to the Adrien Salting Marinette Stanning corner of the fandom, Chat Noir's excessive flirting counts as SA but Marinette's stalking is not creepy at all... vice versa on the literal opposite side.

I think the fandom uses SA way too liberally. It's more used as a buzzword against a character than anything. It should be confiscated. We don't deserve to use SA anymore. We've abused it more than enough.

Do you think Felix will get Chloe'd in S6 if the writers decide to make him a villain again ? We know he never faced consequences for what he did in Strike Back so what is stopping him from doing it again? He know's the secret about Gabriel and LB's identity so he could use those 2 pieces of information to blackmail LB into preventing her from taking his Miraculous. How do you think the Felix Stans will react to Felix's redemption being reversed ?

There is a high chance he will become a villain again in S6 due to the fact that the writers need interesting characters for S6. What makes Felix interesting is that he is an anti-hero. He is on no one's side. He is out for himself. That is what makes him unique. Taking that away from him by redeeming him removes what makes him so intriguing as a character . You are reducing him to a boring side character who does good all the time . I do think he will get Chloe'd in S6 by becoming bad again but I don't think his characters will be assassinated the same way her character was as it makes sense for Felix to be bad. He makes a great villain.

For Felix stans's reaction to this , they might actually not be angry as Felix is in his element when he plays the role as an anti-hero. However it would be funny if they acted like the Chloe stans (who had a right to be angry at TA after S3) by attacking Thomas since Felix is one of Thomas's fav characters. His fans attacking TA causing TA to turn on Felix and ruin his character would be fun to watch lol.

I wonder if the writers didn't decide to make Kagami a senti and instead a biological human being, would Felix snap her out of existence like he did in Emotion along with everybody else or would he have kept her alive ?

I could see him snapping her out of existence but I think it is more likely he will keep her alive for One of Two reasons.

Pity . Let's say that the writers decided Kagami to be a regular human being but still have an abusive mother . Felix might still pity her and feel bad for her because of her troubled home life. Felix would relate to this due to his own father being horrid and would not snap her out of existence. Him getting to know Kagami and forming a connection with her would make him feel guilty about snapping her therefore he would keep her alive.

Kagami's friendship of Adrien. She is considered to be Adrien's best friend even more so than Nino. Adrien Confided with her about his feelings towards Marinette and his Daddy Issues. One of the main reason you could say for Felix doing what he did in Emotion was for Adrien . He wanted Adrien to be free from his fathers control and wants him to be happy even if it meant doing heinous things. He knows Adrien would be devastated if Kagami is gone so he would keep her alive for Adrien.

I forgot how good the season 4 finale was before rewatching it. If only the season 5 finale was as good as the season 4 finale.

Honestly, I want to see Zoe's father appear in Season 6 and try to take custody of Zoe from Andre. Based on how Zoe turned out decent, he couldn't have been worse than Andre regarding parenting. One of the reasons Chloe turned out horrible was because of Andre's terrible parenting but Zoe despite having the same mother turned out nice which meant unlike Chloe, she must've had a parental figure in her life who disciplined her and taught her morals. Audrey seems to talk badly about Mr lee based on what she said about him in Sole Crusher but Audrey usually looks down on everyone and likely has a negative view of him because he is her ex. He likely isn't as bad as Audrey makes him out to be or at least not as bad as Andre or Felix's father. We don't have anything from Zoe indicating he is a good father but we don't have anything from Zoe implying he is a bad one either. Zoe has never mentioned her father so his personality is up to speculation. It would be unique if the writers portrayed Zoe's dad as a good person as it would finally make Zoe interesting if she is the ONLY rich kid with a decent parent. It would be funny if, in Season 6, we saw Chloe meeting Zoe's dad in New York and Zoe's dad tries to discipline Chloe but I doubt the writers would let that happen. However it is also possible we could be an asshole like the other parents in the show. Do you think the writers should introduce him in S6 and have him play a role in Chloe's character/redemption arc?

Should they? Yeah.

Would they? Highly doubt that.

Unpopular opinion but Adrien and Zoe were completely justified in cutting ties with Chloe ( I'm saying this as someone who likes Chloe and thinks she was done dirty by the writers ). Adrien only stopped being friends with Chloe because of what she did to Marinette during the previous year and couldn't bring himself to be friends with someone who badly hurt his GF. Zoe cut ties with her when she realised she wasn't the best person although I wished we did see Chloe and Zoe stay "friendly" and "sisterly" with with each other for a few more episodes before Chloe turned on Zoe. However , Andre and Lila were completely in the wrong for Abandoning Chloe . Andre blamed Chloe for her behaviour calling his daughter heartless before disowning her despite him making her this way himself. Andre is responsible for Chloe's behaviour and him leaving his daughter behind to start a new life with Zoe honestly makes him just as bad as Gabriel.

With the exception of Sabrina, all of Chloe's relationships including Adrien follow a pattern where the person uses her until they don't need her anymore and discard her. Chloe was important to her when he was isolated, but as soon as he had new friends he started to immediately cut her out of his life. Andre wanted a daughter, and as soon as he found a better behaved one, he traded her for Zoe. Zoe used her to get the lay of the land, but when she realized Chloe was a pariah, she ditched her. As soon as Ladybug didn't need her help anymore, she told her she wad off the team "for her own protection." And, the only reason Hawkmoth never through her away was because he never git what he wanted.

That is an unfortunately accurate assessment of the impact of events. It's important to highlight that many of these weren't malicious (except Andre, F that guy)

Though that just highlights how much damage we can do unintentionally via ignorance, carelessness, or thoughtlessness.

Which would be a great lesson to put in a kids show, if they would just acknowledge it.

Is Chloe Bourgeois a senti-being? Season 6 theory explained

Introduction

As season 6 is only a couple of months away from being released, it’s time to discuss some interesting and bizarre theories surrounding different characters among the main cast. Today we will be discussing the controversial character of Chloe Bourgeois who is making a comeback in Season 6. This post will analyse the theory that claims that she is a senti-being which has gained traction among MLB tiktok, Twitter and Reddit after the release of Season 5. I am neither supporting nor denying this claim but providing evidence,ideas and theories I found on social media that props up both sides of the argument. I will be analysing evidence that supports the idea of her being a senti and of her not being one.

Evidence supporting this claim

Revolution

On the plane ride in Revolution, after Chloe has been exiled from Paris and sent to live with her abusive mother, Audrey says 

“ I will take control of your life again starting with your education”.

What did she mean by “again”? Did she use to control Chloe when she was younger with an amok and it was only when Audrey left for NYC that she finally experienced freedom? Control has always been associated with senti-beings with Gabriel and Colt both controlling their sons using rings. When Audrey is saying this line, there is a specific emphasis on the ring on her finger.

We know rings in this show are synonymous with senti-beings and amoks based on how the three confirmed senti's in the show (Adrien, Felix and Kagami) all have their amoks embedded in their rings. So are the writers implying that Chloe could be Senti based on this?

The Tsurugi, Agreste and Bourgeois families - possible alliance?

From the first 4 seasons of the show, it was speculated among the fanbase that the phenomena of senti-beings and creating a child using “magic” was only limited to the Agreste/Graham de vanily family with most of the fandom believing only Adrien and Felix to be senti’s. However, Season 5 revealed that there is another senti-monster in the cast which is Kagami Tsurugi meaning more families knew about the peacock miraculous and used it to create their senti’s. This changed how the concept of senti's were seen by the fanbase now with the possibility of theorising that characters outside of the Agreste/graham de vanily families are possible senti-beings. One reason why fans believe Chloe could be one is because of The Bourgeois family’s close ties to Gabriel Agreste.

Audrey and Andre both knew Gabriel in their youth so it isn’t a stretch to assume that he told them about the peacock Miraculous and allowed them to use it for certain reasons. The Tsurugi family is also another family close to the Agrestes and it is confirmed that Kagami is a senti meaning Gabriel gave the miraculous to Tome to use. If Kagami is a senti, then Chloe could be one too as both of their families are associated with Gabriel and are part of the elite.

We see Audrey, alongside Tomoe (who we know has an alliance with Gabriel) watching the news about the rediscovery of the Guardian's temple. Why would the writers focus on Audrey unless she knows about the Miraculous because of Gabriel and Emelie? If Chloe is a senti-being, why would the writers want to make all the rich kids of Paris senti’s? Do they want to imply that all the wealthy families in Paris are part of some secret cult and that all the rich kids we saw in the diamond dance in Emotion are all senti-beings?

Evidence debunking this claim

Andre Bourgeois

If Chloe is a senti , (and I know this will sound horrible)  why didn’t Andre just use the amok to discipline Chloe and keep her in line since he had so much difficulty in keeping her well behaved and well mannered ? We know he wasn’t a good person and didn’t care much for Chloe especially at the end of S5 where he disowned Chloe , sent her off to live with Audrey who he’s know will abuse Chloe , replaced Chloe with Zoe (another man’s daughter) and let her be scapegoat for the fiasco in Revolution when he know Tomoe and Gabriel were pulling the strings. If he is capable of being this lazy with his daughter when it comes to raising her, why didn’t he bother using the amok to keep Chloe in check if she is a senti ? Does he not know where the amok is or does Audrey have the amok? Either he drew the line at controlling people against their will or Chloe is not a senti .

The writers

It’s obvious that the writers are not even trying to hide their hatred towards Chloe especially after watching S5. They have no desire to redeem her or at least write her to be a decent villain. If Chloe is revealed to be a senti then that would mean she would have limited control over her actions in S4-S5 if someone like Audrey had her amok in S4-S5. That would imply Chloe isn’t to blame for some of her behaviour and that she is sympathetic which is the last thing the writers want her to be portrayed as. We know Felix who initially started off as a villain later became a little bit sympathetic as it was revealed he was A senti and that his father was horrible towards him by abusing and controlling him. Why would the writers make Chloe a senti in order to make her look sympathetic and redeemable when they made it clear Chloe would never change ? Therefore there is a possibility that she couldn’t be a senti.

If Chloe is a senti, why and how was she created and where could her amok be?

If this theory is true, One reason I could see Chloe being created was that one of her parents was likely infertile. The infertile parent would be Andre as we know Audrey is fertile because of her accidental pregnancy with Zoe. However, it is a coincidence that all the wealthy parents were infertile and would look like bad writing. Another reason why the Bourgeois could’ve used the peacock miraculously was because it was easier than getting pregnant. Audrey maybe didn’t want to get pregnant as it would ruin her physical image and Audrey is the type of person who prioritises herself and cares a lot about looks.

She thought creating was child using magic was much better than ruining her own body with pregnancy. However, this idea is debunked with the character of Zoe. We know Zoe is younger than Chloe so she was born after Audrey used the miraculous. Why would Audrey use the miraculous to create a child to preserve her body if she ended up ruining her body anyway when she biologically had Zoe? Why not abort? Did Mr Lee threaten her? Either both Zoe and Chloe are senti-beings or none of them are. 

Unlike the other senti-kids who has either One parent dead or absent, Chloe still has both of her parents alive. We know Colt used the miraculous to create Felix while Emelie used the miraculous to create Adrien. Because of using the broken peacock miraculous, both Colt and Emelie eventually got sick and died. However, Andre and Audrey are alive and healthy so if Chloe is a senti, somebody else must’ve used the miraculous instead. Either Audrey paid somebody to use the miraculous to prevent herself from getting sick or one of Chloe's grandparents used it and their death could’ve been passed off as old age.

Another theory suggests that Audrey did use the miraculous to make Chloe however instead of losing her life, she got lucky and the miraculous only corrupted her psychologically making her lose her empathy and morals instead of her life. This theory is related to the Tsurugi family, where the fans speculated that Tomoe was the one who created Kagami instead of her absent father however instead of losing her life, she got fortunate and only lost her eyesight. The idea of Tomoe surviving despite using the miraculous caused fans to speculate Audrey also used the miraculous and survived as well.

If Chloe is a senti, where could her amok be? It isn’t in her teddy bear as that was broken in Despair bear yet Chloe did not disappear. It is either in Audrey’s ring or her sunglasses as Chloe doesn’t go anywhere without her sunglasses.

Conclusion

To conclude , both sides of the “Is Chloe a senti ? “ debates have compelling arguments backed up by lot’s of evidence. However , I  haven’t officially picked a side yet and have just analysed and presented suitable evidence for and against this theory. It would be interesting if Chloe is a senti as honestly, Chloe being revealed as such might be the only thing that would save her character and redemption arc. However , the writers could also decide she isn’t a senti but a regular human . Now I want to hear your opinion. Do you like theory or hate it ? I've noticed something in the MLB fandom which is that a lot of Chloe stans (not all of them) seem to dislike/hate Felix while a lot of Felix stans (not all of them) seem to dislike/hate Chloe which is interesting because Felix and Chloe are really similar and have some things in common.

I've noticed that too. From what I've seen in the fandom , is that you either Stan one or the other or you hate both. From my observations :

People who stan Chloe but dislike Felix seem to mostly be Chloe Stans and some Adrien stans

People who stan Felix but dislike Chloe seem to be mostly Felix stans with some Nathalie/Gabriel/Kagami fans

People who dislike both Characters seem to be mostly Marinette Stans and some Zoe stans as well.

Tbh , I DON'T blame Marinette stans for hating both Felix and Chloe as both have been nasty to Marinette in the past. I also can understand why some Chloe stans resent Felix because they have been told time and time again by the show that Chloe is undeserving of redemption for not repenting for any of her crimes yet in S5 we witnessed Felix pretty much get away with everything he did between Strike Back and Emotion and got to keep his miraculous and join the hero team despite being 10x worse and not apologising once. That will get anyone angry. What does confuse me is some of the Chloe disliking Felix stans that don't admit the double standard. Some Chloe disliking Felix stans do admit the double standards going on but the ones who don't puzzle me? What has Chloe ever done to Felix ? They are quite similar like you said so it's interesting some people dislike Chloe for the same reasons they like Felix for ?

I wouldn't go that far anon. I know a lot of Felix stans who dislike Chloe still admit there is a serious double standard going between the two characters when it comes to redemption arcs. The double standards are too hard to ignore. In fact , it was Chloe's haters that were the first ones to confront TA on twitter about his hypocrisy surrounding Chloe and Felix (probably because a large chunk of them also dislike Felix as well ) . They basically said to TA " it's hypocritical to say Chloe doesn't deserve redemption because of not regretting her horrible actions but say Felix deserves redemption despite doing worse and not saying sorry for any of it" These people are no fans of Chloe but are still willing to admit a double standard is going on. Tbh , A Chloe disliking Felix Stan is acceptable as long as they recognise the hypocrisy and double standards surrounding both characters

S6 plot idea that won't happen but would be fun:

Assumption: They will mess with Adrienette, because we can't have nice things.

Question: How to do this interestingly?

Problem:Jealous Marinette vs evil girl has been done and overdone. Lila messing with Adrienette is predictable.

Solution: Twist on trope. Chloé comes back... Right?

Wether it's one of ML time compressed changes (Learn Kung Fu in 2 weeks!) or Genetic Cult stuff, she is changed. Not normal kid nice, Ms. Prim's school for Refined Young Ladies nice. It's Very Weird(TM) but what can you do?

Thing is- she is nice *to Adrien* not in a girlfriend way but in a close childhood friend way. Nice to him just when he needs it bc Marinette's been slightly estranged (Ladybug and secret stress+Lila BS) and of course Adrien blames himself.

Chloé is a reminder (especially with this behavior) of his childhood, his mother, 'better times' and they hang out... And of course Marinette stress about allllll of that.

The trick is to keep it as not being a *thing* but having the appearance of a *thing* for drama.

Just a fun idea. And of course you can play with what caused the sudden change. Reform school, genetic cult conditioning, or what have you.

Sounds like the kind of thing that would totally happen in one of those telenovelas... Then again, MLB's more random than that. If Lila can have 3 identities and 3 moms who aren't aware of each other at the same time, or if Felix can have his personality tweaked every time he shows up, then Chloe can have this too. The only problem is getting this through Astruc's borderline obsessive hatred of her.
