Regardless of whether or not you give Chloe a redemption arc in your fanfics, Chloe should always among the characters who raises their hands when someone asks for ideas, only for Chloe to be among the people who has to put their hand back down when the idea-asker specifies "that DON'T involve murder."

Scenario 1- AU where Chloe gets an actual redemption arc and remains Queen Bee

Ladybug: in light of Rena Rogue's research suggesting Hawk Moth may be Gabriel Agreste, do any of you have any ideas on how to go about investigating this theory or reclaiming the butterfly and peacock miraculous in the event of the theory turning out to be true?

Scenario 2- AU where in season 5, instead of melting all of the stolen miraculi into rings that transfer power to akuma, Gabriel instead hands otu the stolen miraculi is lackeys, including Chloe, who assists the various akumas.

I read your recent post about how ML should have stuck with 7 heroes and the polls for the Zodiac heroes. If the Zodiac needed to be used like in canon, how would you write it to work? Would it be similar to your idea of the Zodiac heroes, or would it be something else?

Well, for one thing, I would definitely set up that Fu doesn't have the Chinese Zodiac at the start. Not only does it back Fu choosing Ladybug and Cat and thinking they're best to send out, as Fox, Turtle, and Bee could be more limited in mass helping the city, and LB and Cat have the edge over Butterfly (should anyway), but Fu having the Zodiac this whole time just points to how much of an idiot he is.

Especially if doing the canon powers they have.

By the canon powers they have, Fu essentially wins as soon as Gabriel started up the Butterfly and alerted Wayzz of his intentions.

Fu has the time traveling Rabbit. Even if he's not allowed to change the past, he can go and look at the timeline. He can see who has Butterfly and who is misusing. Gabriel now starting this game of cat and mouse is now obsolete cause Fu knows who he is. He just needs to go get it, or pick ideal adults, tell them who has it, it's done.

Now, if going the route that Rabbit is with the Kudbels, there are still others that give Fu a huge edge to just win.

With Dragon, Fu can become literal air. He can go anywhere. And as we don't have clear definitions on Dragon's limitations, we can make assumptions on what can be done. As far as we know, he can spread himself out and scope out all of Paris. He could locate HM, blindside him with a sudden wind in his secret lair, and blow the Butterfly off Gabriel and carry all the way back home. It's done and over with.

Horse's Voyage, Fu can open up multiple portals and peek through them to see if he can find HM that way. Someone can clear this up for me as I'm not sure, but I do know that Kaalki did use Voyage to go see Chat Noir as Adrien, which could mean Voyage could be used to open up a way to go to another Miraculous holder. If this is so, Fu could use Voyage to blindside Gabriel while he's seeking victims.

Goat could be used to make a Miraculous finding item OR Rooster could be used to have a Miraculous finding power since the limitations of it are still not clear (like Gabriel literally gave himself au hopping powers in the Paris Special).

Dog's Fetch, I don't know if you need to see what you want, but potentially, Fetch could be used to just fetch a Miraculous and bring it back to you.

The inclusion of the Zodiac and the reveal that Fu had them this whole time, it just makes him look like an idiot. Plus the question of why send out the very two Gabriel needs when Fu has so many options to work with Ladybug and keep Cat safe from Gabriel.

I would make use of the Shanghai Special, have that be the intro and reveal of the Zodiac. Could've been Marinette's test for Guardianship. And then to be used by the heroes, I would vote they'd be spread out amongst the 7 with Marinette keeping the most as Guardian and leader, and to occasionally allow the occasional temporary hero as it is fun having a classmate join, but I don't think the entire class need to join and have a singular assigned Miraculous.

Alternatively, if doing a team of 7 heroes, and keeping that there's a clash between Miraculous, have the Zodiac be the next villains. Plus, having a big group of 12 villains could really validate doing a decent size group of 7 heroes.

Or maybe do like Xiaolin Showdown where the Zodiac are lost and scattered and there are rogue users who are unpredictable in use, and there's two groups are competing against each other for the Miraculous. And it could allow the occasional swapping as they win or lose. Like one ep Marinette could win the found Miraculous! One ep Marinette could lose that found Miraculous! One ep, Lila steals the Ladybug from Marinette! One finale, all the heroes could lose their Miraculous to the villains, and what do they do about it now that they're more limited?

So how Zodiacs could be done and made to work, one of these options is what I would pick.

Which, until there's a good alternative villainous force outside Miraculous misuse to face, I would probably vote scattered Zodiac to race and gather or villainous Zodiac team.

I definitely get the appeal of only seven Miraculous, but confess it always felt a bit too limiting/convenient for me. Plus I just love the idea of Kagami being on the team and like Sass too much to want the dragon or snake absent XD (Plus Roaar & Kaalki are fun)

Like sure Kagami could have an alt source of powers but still.

As it is, I tend to default in all my AU musings to that twelve Kwami thing I sent you. I confess I also like it cos as others noted it does mean HK can get some wins in without instantly ending the series.

Though I think your point that the series lacks a proper rogues gallery is also extremely fair. Like, I think part of the issue is that its an episodic series that kind of requires a stronger overarching plot than it has. Not just cos of the story its trying to tell, but by dint of how the main villains powers work.

Introducing more casual villains would be legitimately helpful to break things up and let Hawk Moth be more of a looming threat cos he doesn't spend every day getting clowned on.

Though low key that does remind me of my whole "Hawk Moth slowly turning Lila into an Akuma full time" thing.

Cos like, imagine if that is where a Rogue's Galley pulls heavily from.

Not the long steady erosion of one teenage girl, though that'd definitely be a thing. But from Hawk Moth basically letting some Akuma Butterflies fester in key people and their transformation becoming permanent?

(Some other villain could potentially do this as well.)

In this context I'd say such an event happening actually breaks their tie to the Butterfly as they become their own kind of creature. Maybe one that can be empowered by the butterfly again, maybe not.

I should get back to that conceptual/true name world building system :/

I do kinda vibe with the idea of 'more than the main 7, but less than the full 19'. I think 5-9 is the sweet spot on a main Hero Team, and then ofc the Villains.

I was more saying just the Main 7 from the pov of cutting the Zodiacs out.

But if I was writing ML from scratch I could pick and choose which Miraculous to keep and just. Not give them a theme like that.

I think I'd combine some powers to have like. The Rabbit and Snake are the same Miraculous just the Hero uses it differently depending on what they want.

I'll come back later to think on exactly which ones I'd keep/how I'd combine them.

How to make Hawk Moth Relevent - ML Rewrite:

I Had some ML AU thoughts, specifically on how to have Gabriel keep the Butterfly & feel like a threat & be 'sympathetic' if one wants.

Character wise, its pretty simple, S1/2 era Gabriel. He's proud, stubborn, controlling, & never left the bargaining stage of grief. His decisions are bad, but he either thinks he's doing what's best for Adrien or if he's doing something wrong that he can outsmart the fallout. Also uses kids less in general, but still does it.

He's also learning about his powers the same as the heroes, though some of his weaknesses with it come from struggling with some of the necessary emotional skills. As well as not liking to listen to things that challenge his world view.

IE, "Why did you not tell me this could happen?" - "I tried to tell you it was a danger, you tuned me out!" - "I don't have time for this." - "There you go again! You are so obnoxiously frustrating!"

Finally, he's not using the butterfly right anyway, because doing so would risk his identity. Its meant to make champions, but if he used someone who shared his goals then it'd eventually become obvious who he is. So he has to keep working through bargains and deceptions with people in a manic state. So his defeats are less on him.

Moving on, status quo updates: Introduce some other rogues to pad out the episodes.

A sorcerer who wants Miraculous. A temple monk survivor who wants to get Fu. A left over Nazi who Fu & Marianne defeated; some rogue Miraculous Users & perma-Akuma, IE Imago.

Also have Audrey be there from the start of the season, either she's around to try and cajole Gabriel back into design work, or just splits her time between Paris & New York & introduce some players early.

Specific Story Beat Changes: At the end of Origins show several other soon to be notable figures:

A sorceress pondering their orb, a militant looking bastard smirking, a monk meditating and opening their eyes. Tomoe contacting Kagami & saying they will be moving to Paris. Then cap it off with Lila & Trixx staring open mouthed at a TV, fast food raised halfway to their mouths just staring boggle eyed.

Mentor-Fu Because of these new issues and threats cropping up, Fu is a more active mentor, possibly with Marianne at his side, to serve as foils/counterparts to Marinette & Adrien.

Hawk Moth He makes a strong debut & has some fairly impressive Akuma, but is also clearly experimenting with the power. He also picks several adults like the movie villains. He's also clearly running into walls VS how much he can actually get them to do.

He blames their unhinged state until Antibug when Chloe goes "No U" at the Akuma trying to control her & refuses to un-mask Chat Noir. She wants to prove a point to the heroes not actually help Hawk Moth, & he can't call back the Akuma.

Besides that, the major shifts would be some of his fellow villains compromising his Akuma for their own ends. Him finding out Akuma can become Imago, thanks to Audrey just staying Style Queen. She is having a blast, no one else is.

Lila-Volpina-Chameleon & Trixx She found Tirxx's Miraculous in a second hand shop & since accidentally awakening him the pair have become con artists and mischief makers all over Europe.

They aren't malevolent, but they aren't good either, and Lila goes to Paris in part cos she's being pursued by a sorcerer after Trixx & she wants the others to help protect her.

She's on the team for awhile before losing Trixx in battle and ends up claiming an Akuma to try and get power back. Leaving her straddling a line between humanity & monster-hood.

The Tsurugi's: They have at least two Miraculous, perhaps three, this playing a part in why Fu would even put Tikki & Plagg out there given the risk. The dragon is a must, but beyond that it could range from tiger, to mouse to snake or some combo there-of.

Their goals are enigmatic, with Kagami's stance being that the Kwami are divinity and being their chosen is an honor. While Tomoe is more cold, still respecting the Kwami's power more than the Order, but very pointedly aiming to use said power to benefit her family line.

As a result they are more anti-villain's/antagonists than full on villains.

Audrey & Chloe: Thanks to Audrey being present, the toxic nature of the family is on display from minute one.

With Andre passively rolling with every horrid thing Audrey says or does to Chloe, then using Chloe's rejection to make himself feel big. All while Chloe desperately seeks her mothers affection & allows her fathers self serving idea of 'love' and heeds his terrible advice.

This makes Chloe's redemption arc faster as where she's coming from is obvious from parents day at earliest. Audrey becoming the first on screen Imago helps. No jail time cos no one but Hawk Moth knows at first. She abuses her powers & becomes a key Chloe villain.

Final Note: Awhile ago I realized that one could re-work the Peacock's power into the Butterfly so I'd probably do that too. IE, its power is transmission & transformation.

So in the case of making Sentimonsters it transmits Butterfly energy in to the subject, then the emotions back out of the subject, then transforms them into a 'Familiar'.

This does remove the mind control rings, but there may still be an Akumatized object which can allow a butterfly user easier access to the target, or they are just not a thing.

This also means Gabriel only needs one Miraculous, & Nathalie instead of being Mayura stays on as Catalyst. Letting him make small teams of villains, familiars, or super strong Akuma.

There could still be negative health ramifications from this, either from being constantly Akumatized or from getting powers up to so often. If sympathetic Gabriel is intended, he's the one getting sick.

the ladybug/yang miraculous is the conduit of 1st tier kwami, tikki; kwami of creation, light and fortune.

current holder/wielder: light fairy

their known abilities are:

sentinel: creates a creature with special powers that is loyal to them and their champion(s)

miraculous cure: either fixes all damage caused by a threat that was overcome, or fixes all damage that happened in less than 24(?) hours. the order is unsure which one it is as the latter's time can be increased by getting stronger and its possible to have both.

potentially:

lucky break: increases the holder's luck to absurd levels

weapon: unknown, and as tikki is the kwami of creation, it can be anything or even more than one. the default is supposed to be a yoyo with infinite string that can be used as a grappling hook or, by pulling the yoyo's sides away from each other, a staff. apparently it can also transform into a shield by growing or a sword in a way I couldn't imagine how until I was shown a drawing of it

notes: the order seems convinced that the hol wielder holds terrible intentions due to them being very secretive and never showing up in person. only dealing with the other rogue wielders and criminals through their champions and sentinels but if I'm being honest, I think they're just being paranoid since they never harm civilians. maybe the order doesn't like how strong and popular they are while they have no control over them

the black cat/yin miraculous is the conduit of 1st tier kwami, plagg; kwami of destruction, darkness and misfortune.

current holder/wielder: neko noir

her known abilities are:

cataclysm: destroys whatever she wants as long as she's touching it. the turtle and ladybug miraculous have the most resistance against this ability but the other miraculous are also somewhat resistant.

cat walk: allows her and others with her to travel through shadows/darkness.

catharsis: absorbs nearby destruction and turn into power. also called the yin version of the miraculous cure.

weapon: an extendable baton with a blade inside so it can turn into a scythe.

note: neko noir seems to have been raised in the order but maybe not necessarily by them as she seems to be in touch with technology and society. though it's high society she seems more familiar with.

the turtle miraculous is the conduit of 2nd tier kwami, wayzz; kwami of protection and perseverance.

current holder/wielder: koki marina

her known abilities are:

shellter: creates a barrier that is either very resistant to physical damage with a minor resistance to special abilities or the opposite. the barrier can take on any shape I the holder wants and surround a person while allowing them to move with it, not unlike the barriers a certain hedgehog uses, or traps them inside it.

weapon: shield. captain America and naofumi would be proud

the fox miraculous is the conduit of 2nd tier kwami, trixx; kwami of illusion and delusion.

current holder/wielder: imbrogliona

her known abilities are:

mirage: creates an illusion of anything she wants, though, the illusion can be broken very easily via a solid hit. how real the illusion is seemingly fluctuates on how familiar she is with whatever she's conjuring. I could smell gun powder after her shot with an illusion gun but her illusion of a garbage monster didn't smell or weigh as much as it should. though her illusions can be broken via a solid hit, that's only by miraculous standards. normal people need a gun to break them as far as I've seen.

fox (faux?) fire: allows the wilder to conjure orange fire that allows them to control the senses of whoever is inside them. it can even stick to people to allow them to, somewhat, control their mind. can effect cameras and sensors but unknown if its the same with ai. uncanny valley or markov could confirm this

weapon: extendable flute. thankfully, this can't turn into a scythe

note: she's might be very vain, poor or a kleptomaniac as her primary motive for using the miraculous is to steal jewellery, money or anything of value. her personality leads me to believe the first guess is the most likely one as her successful heists should have given her enough money to last her a while but she seems to show no signs of stopping this any time soon.

the peafowl miraculous is the conduit of 2nd tier kwami, duusu; kwami of divination and desire.

current holder/wielder: argos

his known abilities are:

foresight: shows him visions that either relate to him avoiding danger or help in achieving his goal. they're usually very straightforward but they can become very vague when concerning other miraculous.

weapon: folding fan. the feather are very sharp and they shoot out to wherever he waves the fan at. they can also be plucked and if argos holds them by the quill, they grow and can then be used as a sword

note: his dreams have a high chance of being prophetic as well. he also seems exhausted but I'm not sure if this is due to his abilities taking a toll on him or his homelife as he is unwilling to talk to anyone about it. at least, to neither me or neko.

the butterfly miraculous is the conduit of 2nd tier kwami, nooroo; kwami of transmission and transformation.

current holder/wielder: light fairy

their known abilities are:

metamorphosis: the wielder releases a butterfly that flies away to a selected being with emotions(?) and allows the user to grant them powers by transforming them into their champion. the stronger the emotion, the stronger the champion.

weapon: cane sword that can transmit its attacks through space or air. (supposedly)

note: this miraculous and its ability is how light fairy manages to use their abilities without being present and remain completely hidden. I was a champion once, the powers were awesome but the order doesn't like light fairy so we're not allowed to accept their powers now.

the bee miraculous is the conduit of 2nd tier kwami, pollen; kwami of subjection and synergy.

current holder/wielder: light fairy

thier known abilities are:

promotion: grants the holder the ability to grant themselves or an item a chosen ability. if the ability is granted by another kwami/miraculous then the other kwami's ability will be superior.

potentially:

hive mind: the ability to release a horde of bees that can take control of someone and turn them into their drone if they sting them.

weapon: spinning top, trompo specifically, that can be used like a rope dart or grappling hook via a string, and as a foil/jousting sword by pushing the top of it which causes the bottom stinger to grow. (supposedly)

note: the order thinks light fairy is using hive mind on all their champions via the metamorphosis butterfly even though there's so much proof they aren't. I just realised that I should have put all of light fairy's miraculous together... oh well

the goat miraculous is the conduit of 3rd tier kwami, daizzi; kwami of force.

current holder/wielder: bouc

his known abilities are:

ram: releases a huge amount of kinetic energy from his body. his step caused earthquakes that completely totaled Paris in his first appearance but luckily, light fairy's champion forced him to flee and the cure fixed everything. I wish I won.

weapon: a staff with a goat head at one end. it's like a battering ram.

note: completely ruthless and doesn't care about whoever or whatever gets destroyed. a monster who doesn't care about anything except getting the ladybug and cat miraculous so he can get 'the perfect world he earned last time but was stolen from him' or whatever. if not for light fairy making a champion that reinforced all of Paris and built many shelters after his first attack, Paris would be corpse filled rubble every time he attacks.

the ox miraculous is the conduit of 3rd tier kwami, stompp; kwami of determination

his known abilities are:

manifest: allows the user to use their will to control a light emnates from them and have it transform into whatever shape they want and if its transformed into items, it can preform the same things as that item. It's like a green lantern rings

weapon: huge hammer

note: seems to use villainy as stress relief or something.

Primarily Danny Phantom (it’s what got me into writing fanfiction to begin with; in fact, even as an 11-year-old I was writing my own Danny Phantom episodes when it was first coming out), but I also write for DC (either DP crossover or standalone) and Miraculous Ladybug that one time. I have been t e m p t e d to write more ML as well as dabble in a few others, like maybe Ted Lasso or Scooby Doo (couldn’t be more random, I know), but that hasn’t come to be yet. Let's also not forget the DP x The Office au that @tytach and @arken-99 and I were messing around with a while back 😂 I'm still tempted to go somewhere with that. (Tytach did.)

5) Intervention at 657 kudos - DP - Danny comes home after curfew one final time, and his dad is waiting for him. We give Jack Fenton credit in this house/fic.

4) Beast Within at 910 kudos - DP x DC/Young Justice - Garfield Logan has just lost his mom and is struggling to get his newly developed shapeshifting powers under control. The team calls in Danny for help.

3) Fire with Fire - 956 kudos - DP x MCU Spider-Man - After the Fentons temporarily relocate to Queens for a contract with Stark Technologies, Danny and Peter find themselves embroiled in a conspiracy bringing malicious wraiths to New York City.

Absolutely ALWAYS, and if it’s taking me a bit to reply, just know that I’m going through it irl and I’ll get to responding to everyone ASAP. I love hearing what you guys think of my work and what in particular you’re reacting to/enjoying, so whether it’s fanboying over scenes together or explaining details you might’ve missed or just don’t quite get, I always take the time to show my gratitude for you taking a moment to share your thoughts. :)

6. What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?

Pretty much none of them, to be honest? I always like to try to end on a hopeful note, if not an outright happy one, because I need hope for my own struggles lol. The only candidate I can think of would be The Theorists, but even that’s not an angsty finish. My older oneshot Taking The World by Thunder might count since Lance Thunder doesn't get a happy ending, but it's pretty much a crack fic so I still wouldn't call it angst lol

7. What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

Gosh, this is also a hard one because most of them are sort of open-ended and hopeful. I would probably nominate Night One because I love Wally and Connor’s bonding. It gives me the warm fuzzies. I also think Intervention qualifies since it's a wholesome reveal to the Fenton parents instead of the typical catastrophe (I mean, look at the reveal in Recognized, y'all).

8. Do you get hate on fics?

Only every once in a while, and it’s not really hate but more…closed-minded rejection of the fic’s idea. Like on Recognized I’ll occasionally get something along the lines of “this whole thing is confusing and over-complicated” (literally the point) or “this wouldn’t happen” (you’re reading a fic that literally takes place in a world of ghosts and aliens and people with superpowers). Only a couple times someone’s said “this is stupid” and I’m like, if I don’t like someone’s fic, I just move on and let them be because it’s what they wanted to write. Have these people never heard “you do you”?

9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?

HA. I can barely even write flirting.

10. Do you write crossovers? What's the craziest one you've written?

Often, usually for DP x DC. The craziest was probably The Theorists because it features almost entirely side characters and their “conspiracy theories” about the main cast. It also wove into the Recognized storyline in the end.

11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?

Not that I’m aware of. Let me know if you find my work anywhere lol I only ever post on my main accounts: agentianlegend on tumblr and AO3 and hiimian over on FFn.

14. What's your all-time favourite ship?

I’m not big on ships, to be honest. Though I enjoy Jason Todd x Jazz Fenton, and OH in the middle of writing this I remembered other fandoms exist lol. Marichat from ML because they’re both their most relaxed selves. Adrienette is a very close runner-up. 

15. What's a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?

I’ve never published it or shared with anyone, but the first modern fic I wrote was a DP x Teen Titans crossover where Jack and Danny move to Jump City after tragedy takes Maddie and Jazz. Danny wants to lay low and not be a hero as he deals with the loss, but Slade has other ideas. I wrote quite a bit for it, but I don’t know if I’ll finish. It was heavily angsty when I was going through some stuff and needed catharsis. I still have it almost entirely outlined, so theoretically I could finish it. But, I don’t know. Inspired by Into the Dark by InkyIris btw (apparently a rewrite and cross-publishing is in progress on AO3!), one of the OG fics that got me involved back in the fandom.

16. What are your writing strengths?

Dialogue, characterization, and action scene choreography. Or so I’ve been told lol

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

Writing out scenes when I don’t love the scene as it is. The efficiency side of my brain doesn’t want to waste the energy when I know I’m going to pretty much throw it out and rewrite entirely later on. Also, romance.

19. First fandom you wrote for?

Danny Phantom, even before I started publishing. (See the aforementioned episodes I wrote when I was 11.)

20. Favourite fic you've written?

If not Recognized, I would probably say Night One. It’s a quiet fic, and I love those intimate moments when these larger-than-life characters have some hurt/comfort and bonding moments.

The vibe I'm tryna go for with Rogue Chat;

More serious take of miraculous.

It's aimed more towards older audiences so there will be cursing.

Adrien is still nice but he has his moments of being rude and he's tired of giving people the benefit of the doubt cuz it's always failed him. He's far more cynical and distrusting cuz Ladybug was his last piller and finding out she lied to him so drastically has tainted his opinion on trusting people.

Plagg and Tikki are far less..goofy, and more godlike vibes. Plagg and Tikki are technically married cuz they're a union but they're against each other cuz Tikki believes Marinettes doing what's best and Plagg doesn't so they're at odds.

The team is split. The ones on Ladybugs side: Tiger, Pig, Horse, Monkey, Rooster, Bull, Mouse. The ones on Chats side: Peacock, Dog, Turtle, Bee, Dragon, Snake, Fox

The Dragon, Fox and Snake and technically aren't on either side but they follow their holder but would prefer none of them fight. Trixx personally sides with Plagg but wants Alya to make her own choice so he isn't exactly on either side. The Peacock just wants Nooroo back and is so tired and done with being used for evil.

Lila is just evil and wants to split up all the heros even more and wants to get Chat on her side cuz she just hates Ladybug and wants both their miraculous so she's just fighting both sides and making countless villains and since their split up, it's easier to fight one cuz they aren't a union anymore.

Chloe semi makes ammends eith Audrey cuz they talk and Chloe lashes out at her and Andre for their hand in raising her and not taking responsibility for that and Audrey takes Zoe from Andre cuz..Zoe isn't his kid so he can't just take custody of her 😶 and Chloe and Zoe mend their relationship slowly and Chloe gets the bee back cuz. I refuse to let Zoe keep it cuz the suit is ugly--

Alya and Nino remain a couple and they talk through everything.

Adrien and Felix have a strained relationship but Felix is trying to help him in his..insane way.

It's not exactly Marinette salt but..she isn't regarded highly by some kwami. (Plagg specifically.)

Yes! I would treat it more like the older superhero shows like Static Shock, Danny Phantom, Teen Titans, etc.

Hawk Moth would be a big bad because he's clearly set up as a mastermind and a villain who works best from the shadows. But that doesn't mean there shouldn't be other Miraculous users with their own focus and episodes to cause trouble and chaos in Paris besides him. Some he can work with. Some he may akumatize. Some he may actually try to avoid for various reasons.

There would be a multitude of users and nonusers with their own interests, dynamics, and power setups. As well as require different formula from the heroes to deal with.

Not all of the rogues would be Miraculous users. Not all would be permanent villains. Some would later become allies.

One or two would try to pretend to be heroes either for fame or to manipulate the heroes for their own ends.

Some are genuinely decent people who are using the Miraculous for their own reasons.

One or two don't even realize they have Miraculous.

One will be a Miraculous Rogue who is a thief or a Phantom Thief of sorts. Those are always fun.

There's also an idea for a case where the kwami chooses the user....and what happens if they don't like that user.

...But I'm sure she'll be fine. Eventually.

But then there are the heroes themselves. I'd have to reevaluate the love square and if it wouldn't be better to have identities be a non-issue between them. How should the love square be changed if kept? What would I open the door to if it was removed?

Of course, maybe it'd be cliche, but I think a superhero/villain crush dynamic is a classic.

So yeah! I'd have a ton of ideas for it.

ML Au: Rogue Noir

-The fallout between Ladybug and Chat noir was NOT pretty. Rena Furtive watched as Chat noir was a cavalcade of different emotions.

-Ladybug tried to explain herself but there was really nothing she could say that justified everything he found out.

-"So you have just been lying to me this entire time." Chat noir growled.

-Shadowmoth not one to let a good akuma go to waste thought this would be the perfect time to akumatize the cat.

-Ladybug was mortified when she saw the akuma. She tried to warn the cat but he was far too angry.

-The akuma flew into his bell.

-A purple blue outline appeared over Chat noir's eyes. Ladybug felt absolutely horrified.

-But Chat noir grabbed his bell.

-"I am really getting sick of people trying to control me."

-He flung the bell to the floor. The Akuma got out of the bell. The actions shocking the team.

-Chat noir used cataclysm on the akuma, turning it to dust.

-The two heroine's were surprised to see someone resist like that. Sure she had broken free but that was after the process.

-Chat noir took a deep breath.

-"You DESTROYED my trust Ladybug. I dont care if you are the guardian. I never did like the whole order much. But you, you became just like them."

-He starts heading to the roof.

-"I have no intention of giving my miraculous to Shadowmoth. But I also have zero intention of giving it to you either. As far as I am concerned if either of you want it, you will have to pry it from my claws."

-The words cut like a knife, treating her the same as shadowmoth. Ladybug could feel the hurt the cat was feeling along with his sharp words

-Rena Furtive would jump in to try and defend her. Rena explaining her side.

-"Good, you already know everything you need to replace me." That line was the most cruel to Ladybug.

-Rena furtive was ready to snap but Ladybug stopped her. She said to let him go.

-Chat noir looked at Ladybug, seeing the sorrow on her face.

-"Good bye my... Good bye Ladybug.

-There was a new akuma attack a week after.

-Ladybug was out of it, Rena Furtive was telling her she needed to focus. The akuma was pressuring Ladybug and Rena was trying to figure out how to go out and fight without exposing herself to shadowmoth.

-Until a black staff smacked the akuma in the face before flying back into the hands of its user.

-The akuma was surprised and turned its attention to the one who threw it.

-Ladybug turned and was shocked to see.

-"Chat noir?"

-"No. Chat noir is gone."

-In front of Ladybug stood a more wild looking Chat noir. His ears looked sharper and jagged. His bell was gone. His gloves had sharper claws. His eyes were dark but his irises were green. His staff was dark as his costume. He even looked more wild. His hair even looked darker.

-"I go by Rogue Noir."

-The akuma charged at Rogue noir and the cat smacked the akuma down.

-This cat was a much more serious in his fights. As far as he was concerned, he was on his own.

-Rogue noir did help Ladybug with the akuma and she went for a fistbump only for him to shake his head.

-"Dont misunderstand. I am fighting akuma because Shadowmoth is a villain and these people need to be saved. I am not your teammate. Remember that."

-He jumped off the roof and left. Leaving Ladybug just as sad as she was before
