Noshing on our favorite #blissball recipe by our bff @alison__wu - you can probably guess our favorite flavor...! ✨🍵✨⠀ ⠀ These are our favorite treats to make for parties. In Alison's words: ⠀ "Unsweetened coconut macaroons 3 ways! 🎉✨ I tweaked my basic #Matcha #Macaroon recipe (on the blog) and added 2 new flavor variations: Lavender + Rose. These little cuties are the perfect afternoon pick-me-up! Packed with healthy fats and nourishing beauty foods. A ginger-turmeric or pumpkin spice version would be lovely too! ⠀ Here’s the recipe:⠀ 3 cups finely shredded coconut⠀ 1/2 cups + 3 Tablespoons coconut oil, melted⠀ 4 scoops @vitalproteins #collagen peptides or marine collagen⠀ 1/3 cup @sunpotion tocos⠀ 2 @mountainroseherbs vanilla beans, insides scrapped out⠀ 2 teaspoons @sunpotion reishi powder⠀ 1 teaspoon pearl powder⠀ 1/4 teaspoon pink salt⠀ 1.) Combine all ingredients in food processor. Mix until a dough ball forms.⠀ 2.) Divide dough between 3 bowls.⠀ 3.) For the #MizubaMatcha version, add 1 teaspoon @mizubateaco and thoroughly mix in with rubber spatula.⠀ 4.) For the Lavender version, add 1/4 teaspoon @sujonberries black currant powder, 1/4 teaspoon @e3live blue majik and 2 drops of lavender essence.⠀ 5.) For the Rose version, add 1/2 teaspoon @hybridherbs pitaya powder and 1 drop of rose essence.⠀ 6.) Using a cookie scoop or a tablespoon, form balls and place on a plate or baking sheet. Allow to chill/harden in the refrigerator for 5-10 minutes before enjoying. Store in fridge for up to a week.⠀ 7.) Inspired by my daughters love of Minecraft by @mojangoffical and my love of tea I concocted a "Creeper Latte" I used the Culinary Matcha from @mizubateaco added sweetened condensed milk, and half and half. Topped off with freshly ground pink Himalayan sea salt. For the Creepers explosive nature I added gold leaf stars and then hand drew the Creeper symbol with unsweetened Cocoa powder. Delicious! I am giddy opening this BEAUTIFUL mail from @leefromamerica @alison__wu & @subaru_usa for their Elements of Well retreat that unfortunately got cancelled due to Harvey recently! It goes without saying I was dying to go & amazed to even be invited, so this sweet little goodie bag makes my heart swell like crazy! Super easy with #MizubaMatcha chia seed pudding! 💚😄⠀ ⠀ Recipe: (find the full one on www.mizubatea.com ➡️ "Recipes" on our blog!) ⠀ ⠀ Ingredients⠀ • ¼ cup chia seeds⠀ • ½ teaspoons Culinary Organic Mizuba Matcha 🍵⠀ •½ teaspoon vanilla extract⠀ •1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk (or organic milk of your choice)⠀ •1 handful raspberries, blueberries, chopped pecans, or lavender granola to sprinkle and garnish.⠀ •Optional: your preferred sweetener, to taste. ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ Method: Place chia seeds and Matcha in a small bowl (a traditional Matcha bowl or mason jar works just fine). Gently swirl bowl or jar until chia seeds and Matcha combine. Drizzle the vanilla and top with almond milk. If you prefer a sweeter pudding, stir in sweetener of choice. Refrigerate overnight. Spent the afternoon hanging out at @mizubateaco HQ trying out their new loose leaf offerings. We sampled an organic gyokuro - the umami flavor of which had me craving a burger. Next, we moved on to a hojicha chamomile blend that tasted like bedtime candy. And lastly, a kamairicha thag was as buttery as any Taiwanese oolong. . . Also restocked on matcha. Of course. . .
