A/N: WAS SUPPOSED TO MAKE THIS SHORT BUT ENDED UP MAKING IT LONGER THAN IT WAS MEANT TO BE!!

You and Aventurine were tangled together under the soft blankets, the dim glow of the nightlight casting long shadows across the room. His arm was draped lazily over your waist, his head resting on your shoulder as he absentmindedly twirled a strand of your hair between his fingers.

You could feel his breath against your skin, slow and steady, a rhythmic comfort that always seemed to soothe you.

You tilted your head slightly, looking at him—his sandy-blond hair tousled and his vibrant eyes half-closed in contentment. The thin gold rims of his glasses were resting on the nightstand, leaving his face bare and vulnerable in a way he rarely showed the world.

“Aventurine,” you whispered, and he hummed in response, eyes flicking up to meet yours. “Do you think we’re soulmates in every universe?”

He stiffened slightly beside you, his fingers pausing on your skin. There was a long, heavy silence before he spoke, his voice quiet, almost unsure.

“I… I don’t know.” You blinked, surprised by the uncertainty in his voice. Aventurine was never unsure of anything.

He always had an answer, always knew the next move. But now, his vibrant eyes were clouded with something you rarely saw in him—doubt.

“I want to believe that,” he said finally, his gaze still fixed on the ceiling. “But I’ve seen too much. I’ve lost too much. I don’t know if fate works like that. If it’s kind like that.”

You shifted closer to him, your hand reaching up to cup his face, turning him to look at you. “We don’t need fate to be kind,” you whispered, your thumb brushing against his cheek. “We just need each other.”

A small, bittersweet smile tugged at the corner of his lips. He leaned into your touch, closing his eyes for a moment, as if he was trying to hold onto this—onto you.

“Maybe,” he murmured, his voice barely audible. “But what if… what if I lose you? In this universe, or any other?” You didn’t have an answer for that.

You didn’t know how to reassure him of something you couldn’t control. All you could do was hold him tighter, as if that alone could keep you together.

“It’s not fair...” his voice whispered, but the warmth of the bed was gone.

Suddenly, everything shifted. The soft comfort of your shared bed dissolved into cold air, the delicate touch of his fingers replaced by the harsh reality of silence.

You weren’t in your room anymore. You weren’t wrapped up in each other. You weren’t… anywhere you wanted to be.

The scene cut harshly to stone—the gravestone cold and unyielding beneath Aventurine’s fingertips. The silence of the cemetery was deafening, so different from the quiet comfort you’d shared.

“It’s not fair...” he whispered again, kneeling by the headstone. His magenta and cyan eyes, usually so sharp, so alive, were now hollow. His words felt like they were pulled from his chest, ripped out in broken pieces.

“I wanted you in this one.” The soft wind rustled his overcoat, the roulette detailing on the back almost mocking the cruel game fate had played on him, before the gravestone, your name etched into the cold, unforgiving stone. The world around him felt distant, muted, as if it didn’t matter anymore. And maybe it didn’t. Not without you.

His gloved hand rested on the stone, trembling, as if he could still feel you beneath his touch. He could still hear your voice, soft and hopeful—“Do you think we’re soulmates in every universe?” It echoed in his mind, relentless, a cruel reminder of the question he’d never truly answered. And now, it was too late.

“I was afraid,” he choked out, tears burning behind his eyes. “Afraid of losing you. Afraid that maybe… maybe we weren’t meant to be. And now—” His voice broke completely, a sob tearing from his throat as he collapsed to his knees, gripping the stone as if it was the only thing keeping him grounded.

“I lost you too.”

For a man who had always gambled, who had always taken risks and come out on top, this was a loss he couldn’t bear. It felt like the universe itself had turned against him, taken the one thing that mattered most. He had never felt so powerless, so utterly broken.

“I didn’t know,” he whispered, his voice cracking, barely holding together. “I didn’t know what to say. I didn’t know how to believe in something so… good.”

“I would’ve chosen you,” he whispered through his tears, his voice raw and aching. “In every universe, I would’ve chosen you.”

But here, now, the only choice left was to mourn. And for the first time in his life, Aventurine had no strategy, no plan. He had nothing but the ache of your absence and the unbearable weight of regret.

Missing Ivan and Sua like a mf

Omg, Vivinos uploaded this picture yesterday and that makes me think that the next video is right around the corner.

Ofc, I don't think they're gonna show immediately round 7 but focus more on Luka and Hyuna's relationship first. Ofc we got some clips of their childhood in "All-in" and in the little comics Vivinos posts once in a while, but I believe they need to show us a clearer view of what actually happened. Yes, (spoiler warning) I'm refering to that incident with Hyuna's brother obviously and, yes, I do believe he's dead dead. However, I can't find myself agreeing that Luka killed him…I JUST CAN'T GUYS. Like, no, he's not a little yandere who wants Hyuna all to himself, I think there's way more to his character than that. Maybe his methods of getting what he wants are a little bit problematic (I'm looking at you "Ruler of my heart" mv), however, I feel he has good intentions for doing what he did (I'm mostly talking about his trying to get on Mizi's nerves in order to start beating him and, then eventually for Hyuna to come to her rescue…yes, in my opinion, it was kinda planned by them beforehand- or I could be wrong- Luka getting surprised about Hyuna's sudden appearance and actually having attempted to get Mizi trapped/killed by the aliens). Additionally, I have to question myself WHY would he kill Hyuna's brother in the first place. They must have been a little close too and clearly Hyuna and her brother couldn't be romantically (right? RIGHT.) . Yes, I know I can't expect them to have the same (or even any) morals with the humans who lived on Earth, but…AAAAAAA, idk 😭.

That's the problem actually, the more we analyse it the more will we realise that we know almost nothing about their backstory. Everything could be interpreted differently if you look at each perspective. Maybe Luka isn't a bad guy with just his methods being questionable or, on the other hand, he maybe crazy and one of the villians. I DON'T WANT to believe that. I want to believe that sth more is behind what happened between him and Hyuna's brother and that it was all just a misunderstanding.

Btw, I'm also looking forward to round 6's aftermath. Not just Ivan dying ofc…but Till's full reaction over this. I'm looking for some of his character development maybe…? Like, from his viewpoint, Till thought Ivan was a guy who was just "obsessed" with him and maybe he considered him a kind of a creep (even though deep down I think he regarded him as his friend), however -come on- how oblivious can he be? Ivan literally died for him. JUST LOOK AT TILL'S SURPRISE/ DEVESTATED FACE when he realised what Ivan had done. That makes me wait for him to realise how much he cared about him and, idk, start to develop feelings for him now and even ackowledging that he can't ever have Mizi or/and that he doesn't love her that way anymore? IDK, I just want the next video to be uploaded so baddd. Hehe, a Luka and Hyuna duet would be very much appreciated STUDIO LICO.

Also, what are your guys' specualtions about the next video?? I'm really looking forward to reading your opinions

taking a break from stuff to scribble

AU where grim reapers Sua and Till randomly pick a file on the next soul they collect. Till gets Mizi (“oh? a pretty girl!”) and Sua gets Ivan (“hm. young.”) But when they go to check on/‘haunt’ them (shadow of death etc.) they find out the locations on the files got switched due to some bureaucratic error at the grim reaper office.

Sua finds Mizi in what's supposed to be Ivan's location, vice versa for Till. Shenanigans occur, then devastation as the angels of death feel themselves get drawn to these two, beautiful people who are not meant to last.
