day 07. public sex. with. soojin, zoa.
2388 words.
tags.
kinktober ‘23, idol x idol x male reader, reader has the tiniest hint of rizz, but is still a loser at heart, public sex, double blowjob, standing doggy, pussy eating, fingering, stand & carry, 1mg of rimming, very smut heavy, basically unedited, complete mess.
notes.
horny + tired sounds like a recipe for terrible writing. and i don’t really know if it is, since i basically haven’t read this back :] generically, leaf.
“I need this now” and “Take me here” might be the exact and only two sentences that could get you to do anything, anytime, anywhere. But that’s a hypothetical, and despite the inhibition of three Manhattans and a couple beers, castles in the sky crumble when you hear those exact words come out of those two’s sweetly curled and devilishly full and luscious lips in the middle of the dance floor.
You didn’t really know them that well. They go to the stationery shop you work at fairly frequently (every other Friday between 3 and 5 p.m., they usually hover around the notebook and colored pens sections, try a bunch of them out - like, sooo many, can they not recite the entire color palette by heart yet? - while laughing you can’t really tell at what, then come to the checkout with about exactly one sharpie and two big smiles, and then leave. What? No, you don’t remember them particularly more than any other customer. Why would you?), but you’d never really talked. That’s why you’re surprised when they approach you on a random Saturday night at the club, talking about which their favorite drinks solely based on color are and how, if bonsai are a thing, there must be a way to make humans exist in tiny, and what if they’re out there now, going around untying shoelaces and stealing any small item that falls to the ground? They don’t look drunk, they look happy, which is a different thing. Aren’t they just talking about gnomes, anyway (which, by the way, definitely exist)?
It’s not how they wear those good girl smiles a second before sandwiching you while dancing, their bodies pressed against yours. Soojin from behind, pawing at your pecs and slowly kissing your neck up to the back of your ear, Hyewon in front of you but facing away, her ass literally rubbing against your now visible erection while she takes your hands and moves them from her hips, to her exposed belly, up to her boobs.
It’s not how she turns her head to kiss you and that smile is still there, like she’s playing a game, like this is just harmless fun between friends. Yeah, friends, you think, until the deer eyed girl turns around to face the two of you, her hands reaching around you and landing on Soojin’s ass and switches from your mouth to hers. What made you think they were just friends again? You’d think of an answer, but you’re distracted by the older girl’s hand venture lower towards your dick, which she starts stroking through your pants.
It’s not even how the three of you (and you in particular) now look like a complete mess right in the middle of the club, your bodies rubbing on each other’s in feral hunger, your tongues entangling with burning lust. It’s really not that.
It’s how pairs of eyes turn towards that filthy scene. Initially just a couple passing peeks, then a few more, longer gazes, mixing aversion with slight arousal, until the whole club is aware of the tonguing, the groping and the humping. And while some of them walk away, the people who stay seem turned on by the scene, as if intoxicated by the scent of your libido.
It really should just be embarrassing for you. And at the start, it was. To be left open-mouthed in front of a live audience like a comically fat dead trout in a fishing contest while two, admittedly gorgeous, girls alternately brush, squeeze and hump your dick wasn’t exactly your proudest moment. But somehow, that embarrassment coexisted with a sense of excitement. And as the two keep making a toy for their pleasure out of you, the latter only grows stronger and ends up completely overpowering the former.
That’s why when Soojin asks “Wanna go to the bathroom?”, the only possible answer is “Why not here~?”
“There’s not enough space”
The crowd was in fact big and quite cramped around the three of you. You are left without choice as she takes you and Hyewon by the arm and leads you towards a small black door right by the bar.
The girls throw you into the wall and kneel in front of you before the door even closes. Four hands take your belt off, or rather attempt to for a while before getting it (it probably would have been easier if only one person did it, but you don’t dare suggest it), then pull your pants and your boxers down. You can still hear clearly not only the music, but every scream coming from the room you were just in (these walls suck, even for club bathroom standards).
Your cock, already erect thanks to the scene you three made back there, falls right in the middle of their expecting faces, and all they have to do is stretch their necks a little further to start sprinkling it with wet kisses and short licks and already causing you to shed some precum. They more or less intentionally happen to move towards your base and take a longer lick up to the tip of your dick, where they collect your nectar and meet in a French kiss. Actually, that’s not even a kiss, more like their tongues messily exchanging three people’s fluids while completely outside either’s mouths, and it looks fucking filthy.
Soojin is the first to wrap her lips around your head and start slowly but steadily bobbing, taking a slightly larger portion of you in her mouth each time. Hyewon, leaving no time wasted, travels further towards your balls, first getting them wet with her saliva, then alternatively taking one in her mouth and sucking it hungrily, seemingly having the time of her life. The older girl, despite the small size of her mouth, fits almost three quarters of your length in her cavern, even managing to keep herself there and brush the underside of your cock while sucking.
“Unnie, leave some for me!”
Soojin makes way for her friend/tongue buddy, who seems immediately much more feisty, though likely less experienced, sacrificing technique for power and a much faster pace. The older gathers Hyewon’s hair together in a makeshift ponytail and starts licking from her jaw and cheek to around her ear, while the younger, gifted with a bigger mouth, is basically already deepthroating you. You hold your hands around her head and push the last bit in, her eyes watering a little as you hold position for a good fifteen seconds. And, cut.
“You okay?”
“Fuck, that was fun!”
This deer eyed slut just deepthroated you without you batting an eye (well, you were quite lost in pleasure yourself, your eyes quite literally rolling to the back of your hair, but you know), and you’re surprised that she swears?
People could literally step into the bathroom at any point, but honestly, the thought is not even passing your mind. Actually, some might have even walked beside you while you were filling their mouths with your hardness, it’s honestly just too hard to pay attention to anything else, with these two. That’s why you can’t even fathom worrying about the rest of the people in the club, even with what happens next.
Soojin drops her jeans along with her light blue panties and sits on the long counter that connects all the sinks together, running along the entire length of the bathroom below the mirror, while Hyewon bends over in front of her, glancing at the other girl with a playful smile before feasting on her gorgeous pink pussy. You only need to get behind her, bunch her white tennis skirt up on her waist and pull her black panties down and to the floor. Her lips are fat, her slit clean and shiny. You look back at her underwear, and notice a wet patch in the center, not particularly small, either.
“Did you cum just by humping me back there?”
“Maybee~”
You hold your tongue out and take one long lick across her womanhood as she lets a moan out and into the older girl’s crotch. Her sweet scent, her soft texture, her perfect taste are- fuck it, you need your dick in that pussy. So stand up again, align yourself to her, and push it in.
Hyewon is tight, but even moreso, she’s warm. Her hole welcomes you like that’s all she was waiting for all night, like you’re her guest and she wants to make sure you know she prepared. And as you slowly thrust into her, making sure to use your hips to hit every little spot, every patch of her pussy, she lets a constant stream of guttural groans into the one she’s eating herself. Soojin can’t help but push the younger’s face into her crotch, stimulated not only by her tongue, taking trips now on her lips, now in her slit, now on top of her pink clit, but also by the vibrations of her lewd sounds, resonating in her cavern and expanding all over her body.
As you grip the girl’s asscheeks tightly, you start picking up the pace, but she immediately reaches a hand behind her and on your wrist. You slow down again, and her whimpers tell you that this is the rhythm she wants you to hold. In fact, her lower abdomen starts tensing up as a sign that her peak is near. She wants something else. She detaches from the older’s pussy, leaving her disappointed and cutely pouting, and takes small quick steps forward towards the counter, until her face is almost reaching the Soojin’s. She then zips her white top fully down. The older, in a better position to take care of it, gets the hint and rids herself of her top as well as her white strapless bra, leaving them beside one of the sinks. Hyewon takes a millisecond after that to attack her friend’s perfectly sized soft tits with her mouth and left hand, and her hole with her right.
The older is completely thrown off by the sudden initiative and the resulting pleasure it brings to her erogenous zones, and she starts moaning uncontrollably. The younger can’t hold it much longer. Her mouth leaves her friend’s boobs to meet her lips in another tongue filled spectacle. Two fingers from her right hand slide in and out of Soojin’s slit, while her thumb circles around her clit. The older’s also so close. But you’re the one who will make the final move.
You bend down towards Hyewon’s body, reach around and under her black one-shoulder top to feel and fondle her big fluffy mounds as you keep pumping your girth into her, and that ends her.
She washes your cock with the whirlwind of her juices while she contracts repeatedly around you and releases the lowest moan of the night. That in turn triggers her friend’s peak, in her case the liquid sprays on the younger’s hand and wrist and her hips buckle as she reaches to the mirror behind her for support.
Hyewon falls to her knees. Both girls are panting for oxygen, but the one you just fucked seems particularly spent from it.
“You good?”
She nods, and shows you her index finger: “One second”
You turn your head back up.
“Can you do it?”
“Can you~?”
This bitch. You step closer to the counter and wrap your hands around the underside of Soojin’s milky, meaty thighs to spread them open even more. You share a glance with her, and she looks fucking obscene. Her hair has lost its parting, her forehead covered in sweat. That lower lip always just kind of hanging there, like she needs something to fill her mouth at all times. So you kiss her hungrily, and she lets your tongue in her mouth like she’s craving it, like she’s begging for it.
Meanwhile, you guide your head to her slit and part it, slowly entering her cavern. She is so tight. She whines softly into your mouth as you get deeper and deeper. Once you’re fully in, you give her a second to get used to your girth.
“My neck. Your arms around my neck”
She obeys as you immediately raise her from the counter and carry her towards the center of the bathroom as you start pumping into her tight heaven.
Who fucking cares at this point, people could walk in on you and you would thank them. They’d love to have a cock big like yours, to have a girl as beautiful as yours, and to fuck the former into the latter like you’re doing right now. No. They’d just have to watch, like some pathetic frat boys peeping at an older girl they couldn’t even pray to get.
Your hands grab onto Soojin’s ass so you can bounce her pelvis on yours while pushing up, accentuating the movement, as she keeps kissing you like her life depends on it. You feel your orgasm building up.
Then, you feel something below you. Hyewon, revitalized after her orgasm, is now kneeling below you, open-mouth kissing your dick, your balls, her friend’s slit and, you guess, anything else she might find in the way. This girl can truly never be idle. Meanwhile, as you get closer and closer, you switch to quick, single, powerful thrusts. One. Two. And-
You feel Hyewon’s tongue brush your asshole. It’s a sensation you never felt before, it kind of tickles, but it almost stings, at the same time. What it surely does, is to make you cum on the spot. You fire multiple shots of white liquid into Soojin’s pussy, the sensation making her scream (they definitely heard this one outside) and triggering her waterfall a second time, and as only so much matter can fill such a tight space, all of her squirt and probably most of your cum end up dripping down and coating Hyewon’s face. Her mouth is promptly open, so she gets to taste your combined fluids.
She shuffles them around her cheeks for a while, then one big swallow.
“Yummy~”
-
“Fuck, Hyewon. Was that on purpose?”
“Huh?”
“Your tongue”
“Oh! Well, did you like iiit?”
“He fucking came as soon as you touched him! What do you think?”
“Well, let’s see if it happens a second time, then”
-
footnotes.
it’s 4am. god. finally, leaf.

How do you pick out colour pallets for your characters? (Specifically the Mane 6 human designs) they're so good!!
I'll stick to the Mane 6 so far.
I paired everyone up first so I can design their colors as duos: Rainbow Dash + Fluttershy, Rarity + AJ, Pinkie + Twilight.
Rainbow and Fluttershy are noisy vs. quiet (visually).
Rainbow Dash obviously needs to be super colorful, but I couldn't go total blow-out rainbow with her, which isn't the goal of the design challenge. To stick to the era, I gave her scarf tie and pants colorful but natural dyed-thread colors: teal, orange, pink, green, and red. The vest, on the other hand, was given the bright primary colors of her rainbow-lightning-bolt cutie mark (the diamond patterns are meant to look like a bolt or explosion). Each character gets an accent color too for shadows, and I gave Rainbow a deep purple to make her skintone pop as much as possible.
Fluttershy's the opposite. I designed her palette to be duochromatic: just rose pink and yellow, with a hint of mint green. All her colors are very desaturated as well, though the yellow clothes help her stand out. Unlike Rainbow, any ornaments in dress come in small places, like lace edges, small butterfly patterns, bows, and earrings, as I feel Fluttershy would still enjoy accessorizing.
Rarity and AJ are cold vs. hot (visually, again).
Rarity's given very artificial, unnatural colors to give an impression of wealth and status. I decided to go with a deep blue rather than purple so she doesn't get mixed with Twilight's palette. I also kept her mostly monochromatic to give the sense of neatness and grace. Her palette is simple enough: pink skin, blue clothes, teal accents. Variations come in the clothing itself: patterns, accessories, fur linings, buttons, etc.
AJ, on the other hand, is given very earthy, warm tones. I actually referenced Minecraft terracotta blocks when designing her.
I made green her primary color since no other character carries it. The red and green's meant to make her look a bit like an apple. Weird note, but I'm really proud of the dark teal in her jeans. It looks great against the orange of her chaps. AJ's palette was surprisingly hard to pin down, as I was afraid the yellow/orange skin-tone, hat, and hair would muddy her face. Had to fiddle with it a lot to get it where I want (oftentimes, the green would make her look like a park ranger), but throwing in a blue shadow accent really helped pull everything together.
Haven't gotten to the last two yet, but Pinkie's is definitely going to be crazy and bright. Here's a sneak peak of it, actually:
Thanks for the ask! I really like talking about my design process.

i love when people sometimes comment on the qsmp's inherent sillyness that goes hand in hand with the horrors, tbh its kinda a prevalent thing in a lot of minecraft smps
like with the nature of minecraft roleplay, its most often a tragicomedy, where both the amusements and the disasters mix together, subsequently strengthen each other, and there are multiple instances of this that span at most a very large chunk of popular minecraft series
obviously there has to be comedy, these are created by content creators who want to have fun and that fun involves dicking around, and you cant really not have a comedic sequence with little cubitos in a colorful world
but theres also solely tragedy focused series too, like in old school machinimas with darker palette texture packs, or even recent series that play out like death games between players, where the seriousness of their situations always lie heavy, people enjoy when the stakes are treated with solemnity
tragedy and comedy can exist seperate, adn they can still be enjoyable.
but theres something always more compelling about ctommy making a joke about ctubbo being in a box and only a few weeks later his best friend is murdered senselessly in a blackstone box in front of his eyes
theres something always more fun to think of when the hilarity of jimmy solidarity in life series always getting out last, and the small hint of sadness in double life when the ranchers get out together, when its all over and their fate is sealed, the curse of being the canary in the coal mine stays no matter how intentional it is
theres something more when in tandem with the goofs that the people share on quesadilla island from the strip club to the mines to the kids, there's the overwhelming presence of an terrors that threaten their peaceful way of life, and yet they persist on together as one big family
its stuff like this that makes me love minecraft series as a whole honestly

Everytime it Wasn't Swain
After rewatching Arcane, I decided to make a list for everytime Swain was almost there. You thought he was being alluded to, but he wasn't, it was actually something else. Or was it?
1. The Crows
Swain has ravens, not crows, there just happen to be a suspiciously large quantity of crows, for a port city, instead of seagulls. As the show went on, the arrival of crows became synonymous with Jinx's presence and vice versa. It's not hard to see why, crows are intelligent and naturally social birds that do well in urban ecosystems, they just have a mixed reputation as good and bad omens. On a narrative level, the presence of crows does have interesting implications. Crows and ravens are easily confused for the other if you don't know what to look for. And the more I read about Swain, the more I notice that he and Jinx (in Arcane) are similar in some regards. Not just the fact they killed and maimed their family members, that's not uncommon for League backstories for some reason. From a storytelling standpoint, they both serve as living embodiment of their respective nations, good and bad, that other characters have to react to. And it was their actions that changed the trajectory of their nations.
What's even more interesting is that crows and raven in real life don't get along, they're incredibly territorial and avoid one another. If they do cross paths, crows are more likely to pick a fight with ravens. Despite the raven being bigger, crows band together in large groups to fend off ravens from their nesting areas, sort of like they harass them away. Food for thought.
2. The Man Named Jericho but not Swain
This one was cute. It took me a while to realize that they both had the same first name, except Swain has a last name, which is Swain. The first time his name was mentioned was when Vi and Caitlyn were on the search for Silco, but Vi was really on the search for Jinx. Funny enough, Jericho's apron and pants looks like the Jinx's outfit. I know plenty of people wear pinstripes in Zaun, but the black triangle with the 'X' in the center was pretty on the nose. On one hand this shot could foreshadow the way Jinx's actions come between Caitlyn and Vi. On the other, that's not as fun, and I want to know if this makes Jericho a Jinx stan! Seriously, maybe it's another hint at the way Zaun and Noxus are similar threats to Piltover, just in different clothes. Or Swain's a Jinx stan too!
3. The Palette Portrait
I've watched Arcane more than once and never managed to see it before, and wasn't too sure it was Swain until I outlined the figure myself. There he is long white hair, red magic hand, widow's peak, and sharp profile. In context, this is part of the scene where Mel is aggressively painting while Jayce apologizes for leaving her alone in bed the night Viktor collapsed. It's the first time Jayce and the audience sees her paint, and is essentially one of the first moments we get to see a part of her inner life. In this exact shot she says, "There's a lot you don't know about me". I'd say pretty on the nose to say this is foreshadowing her past connections to Noxus. But there's small things that are off, for example, Swain is draped in red rather than a severe black. And his face is dark while he's a white man, the color choices actually fit Ambessa more than Swain. Another fake out? Or maybe it means that there's no difference between people like Swain and Ambessa in the grand scheme of Noxus' war machine.
All in all I found three times Swain's presence was almost confirmed, but instead was something or someone else. There was always one or two details off to make it so. Each time there was an "almost Swain" connection, it was usually in association with Jinx or Mel, a cast member actually from Noxus. Swain, or at least the concept of Swain, seems to haunt the Mel's past and Jinx's future.
#arcane#jinx arcane#mel medarda#jericho arcane#jericho swain#swain lol#you know the saying#once is chance#twice is coincidence#third times a pattern#jinx making zaun look untenable as a future colony to ward off swain and noxus in general#maybe this is the last time I mention Swain finally

Game Spotlight: A Short Hike
If you’re looking for a heartwarming indie game that perfectly blends exploration, relaxation, and representation, look no further than A Short Hike. Developed by Adam Robinson-Yu, this charming adventure has captured the hearts of players since its release, and for good reason.
Overview
In A Short Hike, you play as Claire, a young bird exploring the beautiful island of Hawk Peak Provincial Park. Your goal is simple: climb to the top of the mountain and enjoy the view. But as you wander through the lush landscapes, you’ll encounter a diverse cast of characters, each with their own stories and quirks. The game’s open-world design allows for a relaxed pace, encouraging players to explore and interact with the environment.
One of the first things you notice is the vibrant art style. The island is a mix of rolling hills, shimmering lakes, and quaint campsites, all rendered in a soothing palette of soft colors. It’s a place that feels inviting, where you can easily lose track of time just wandering and enjoying the scenery.
Why It Resonates
What makes A Short Hike special is its subtle yet meaningful representation of diverse identities. While the game doesn’t explicitly focus on LGBTQIA+ themes, it creates a welcoming space for all players. The characters you meet throughout your journey reflect a variety of backgrounds and experiences, making it easy for anyone to find a piece of themselves in the story.
One memorable encounter happens early in the game with a character named Judy, who runs a small shop. During your conversation, she shares her own dreams and ambitions, hinting at her struggles to find her place in the world. This moment serves as a gentle reminder that everyone has their own journey, and it’s okay to seek support and connection along the way. It’s these little interactions that make the game feel inclusive and relatable.
Another significant character is a fellow hiker who you meet at a lookout point. They share their own experiences of feeling lost and uncertain about the future, which resonates with Claire’s own journey. This exchange highlights a common theme in the game: the importance of community and the shared experiences that bind us together. It’s a reminder that no one has to navigate their path alone.
Gameplay and Aesthetics
The gameplay is relaxing and non-linear, allowing you to explore at your own pace. You can collect items, chat with fellow hikers, and even take part in mini-games along the way. For example, there’s a fun fishing mini-game where you can try to catch different types of fish in the sparkling lake. These little activities break up the exploration and add a layer of enjoyment.
One of the most enjoyable aspects of the game is the freedom it offers. You’re not forced to complete tasks in any particular order, which allows for a more organic gaming experience. You might find yourself climbing a rocky outcrop just to see what’s on the other side, or taking the time to help a character find their lost item. Every interaction feels rewarding, as the game encourages curiosity and creativity.
The art style is delightful—soft colors and simple shapes create a cozy atmosphere that draws you in. Each area of the island has its own distinct feel, from the serene beaches to the dense forests. The soundtrack is equally charming, featuring soothing melodies that enhance the sense of tranquility. It’s the perfect backdrop for a leisurely gaming session, making it easy to unwind and immerse yourself in the world.
Themes of Exploration and Identity
At its core, A Short Hike is about exploration—not just of the island, but of oneself. As you guide Claire on her journey to the mountain’s peak, you’re also encouraged to reflect on your own experiences. The game subtly touches on themes of identity, belonging, and personal growth, resonating deeply with the LGBTQIA+ community.
As players, we often seek representation in the media we consume. Games that reflect our experiences help us feel seen and validated. While A Short Hike doesn’t overtly address LGBTQIA+ issues, its inclusive environment allows for a sense of belonging that many players crave. The game embraces the idea that everyone’s journey is valid, regardless of how different it may be from others.
This is particularly evident in the way the characters interact with Claire. Each one has their own story and struggles, and the game emphasizes the importance of listening and connecting with others. This theme of empathy is essential, reminding players that understanding and support can come from unexpected places.
Community and Connection
In today’s world, where many of us face challenges related to our identities, A Short Hike serves as a gentle reminder of the importance of community. The game encourages players to engage with the world around them, fostering connections that can lead to personal growth.
For example, one character, a fellow hiker named Frank, is trying to finish a race. He expresses his anxiety about whether he’ll succeed. When you help him find items he needs for the race, he opens up about his fears and insecurities. This interaction not only aids your progress in the game but also deepens your connection with Frank. It’s moments like these that illustrate how supporting one another can make a difference, both in the game and in real life.
Personal Reflections
As I played through A Short Hike, I found myself reflecting on my own journey as a queer gamer and writer. The game’s exploration of identity resonated with me, reminding me of the struggles and triumphs I’ve faced in my own life. There’s a particular comfort in playing a game that allows for self-reflection without judgment.
In many ways, Claire’s adventure mirrors my own—navigating the landscape of identity, seeking connection, and learning to embrace who I am. It’s a powerful experience that transcends the screen and prompts meaningful introspection.
Final Thoughts
If you haven’t played A Short Hike yet, I highly recommend giving it a try. It’s a game that encourages exploration, self-discovery, and connection—elements that resonate deeply with the LGBTQIA+ experience. As we navigate our own journeys, it’s refreshing to see a game that celebrates the beauty of finding our way in the world.
So, what are you waiting for? Grab your controller, dive into this delightful adventure, and let the serene landscapes and heartfelt stories envelop you.
Have you played A Short Hike? What are your thoughts on its representation and storytelling? I’d love to hear your experiences!
Feel free to adjust any sections, add personal anecdotes, or expand on specific themes to make it even more reflective of your voice and perspective!

A/N: Hello this my @nagamas gift for @simikae . I hope you like it and I enjoyed writing this!!
Summary: Forde paints a portrait of the twins.
It was a peaceful day in Renais. The sun was out and there was not one cloud in the sky. Not to mention the weather was absolutely perfect. It was warm out with a nice cool breeze that would come through every so often.
A good day in Forde’s mind to relax and be lazy for a change. With there being no skirmishes against Grado’s army or any duties to perform that day he thought it best to just laze around all day and do absolutely nothing, and that he did.
Having just woken up from a very rejuvenating nap, the blonde man had first set his gaze upon the sun's rays peeking through the tree he was currently under. He wondered if this would make a good painting, but after a moment of thought he decided against it. He needed something that was more of a rare sight to see. Anyone could go outside and paint the sun shining through the trees. His eyes trailed upon the perfect subject of his painting or rather the perfect portrait. His subject happened to be Ephraim and Eirika. They sat on a log as the sun enveloped them with its warmth in an almost ethereal manner.
“Ah yes, what a masterpiece!” He thought to himself as he laid out his art supplies that he secured that day. An easel, several bottles of paint, a canvas, a wooden palette, and a whole lot of brushes were purchased earlier in a town they were passing by. Each utensil was delicately wrapped in brown paper and tied with string. To others they would label them as expensive, but to Forde they weren't. That's just how hobbies are, expensive to some, but not to others.
Forde, humming a song that he didn't know but heard the others sing a dozen of times, set about setting up his station. First, he started by putting the canvas on the easel. Then he spread out his brushes and put his paints on his palette. Forde suddenly realized that he had no spare water other than what he was going to drink. He stared briefly at his cup of water. “Yeah, it'll do.” He mumbled to himself. He mixed a green and a yellow together and then proceeded to use his biggest brush to paint the top of the canvas. Using a darker green, Forde painted the grass and the shadows on the beginnings of the trees. Forde used a thin brush to add in the sun rays that bounced off the grass. For the logs and trees, he used a dark brown for the base and light brown for the closer to where the light danced upon them. Forde carefully painted the silhouettes of the royal twins by using a peach color. He dabbed on small, delicate blobs of turquoise and light teal for Eirika and Ephraim’s hair, respectively. For their outfits, he used reds, dark blues with hints of dark green, a light pistachio, golds, light brown, and silver. The finishing touches to his portrait was a blue and lilac butterfly as well as a family of four birds flying by. He gazed at his work, eyeing every little detail, to make sure nothing was missing. The portrait showed the twins cheerily chatting away. Ephraim was in the middle of talking, while Eirika held her hand up to cover her mouth as a laugh flew into the air. Forde had decided that he'd give his masterpiece to them when the war was over.

why wigfrid's magmatic skin sucks butt and why it needs a redesign a week ago
a (disproportionately) long and detailed analysis
DESIGN WISE (INDIVIDUALLY)
Being a sequel to the gladiator skins- and, obviously, the Forge event that originally introduced them- it’s perfectly logical to harp on a more fiery motif than the previous, more barbaric warrior approach they went with previously. On top of that, a consistent theme with the Magmatic skins is the use of gold accents, which Wigfrid already has in her main aesthetic anyways. You could logically assume, then, that it would be no small feat to mix red and gold (colors she already has regularly) into a cool looking brawler-type outfit, right? Wrong. You would be wrong you would be the wrongest you’ve ever been in your life. Observe:
The biggest and most obvious flaw with this design is the overbearingness of the saturation. Absolute misuse of the color yellow- especially when compared to the red and the glaring white of her skin (which can not be altered since that’s the shade that white skin tones take within this game, meaning that all skins should be built with this tone in mind). There is NO place for your eyes to rest here! All of the colors are simultaneously battling for your attention. Also, you really should never make gold that yellow like. ever. Gold always has orange hints to it, it’s not giving a gold, or even a brassy feel. It’s evocative of plastic.
DESIGN WISE (COMPARATIVELY)
I think the fairest skins I can use to compare the Magmatic skin to are her classic skin and her Forge skin. Classic is applicable for obvious reasons, but since Magmatic was supposed to be a follow up to the Forge, I think it’s perfectly fair to see why one fails and the other succeeds.
Notice- even beyond the point of Magmatic’s sharp increase in saturation- a particular feature about the palettes of these three skins. Magmatic contains the least amount of color variation here. Even less than her original skin, which is only four colors. A skin that’s supposed to be more unique and lucrative to the original is sporting less (and worse) color variation.
Speaking of the quality of the colors, when compared to the other two skins you can notice something else about the colors. Her original and Forge skins have a complementing palette, meaning there’s not really any particular color that feels out of place amidst each other. While one could argue that the contrast between all three of Magmatic’s colors could stand on its own as a half decent palette of colors, they weren’t used properly enough for that point to matter! The other two skins sport a healthy use of all three colors, where Magmatic completely swallows the outfit in bold, clashing tones without any regard for tasteful splashes that wouldn’t melt your eyes out. “But Savvy-” I hear you calling into your electronic devices, “-But Savvy, you’re looking at the portraits. That doesn’t really matter when you’re critiquing the skins themselves!” first of all yes it does bc when people are drawing characters in skins they hardly ever pull up the skin itself; they pull up the portrait, since it’s usually more detailed. But the Magmatic skin still fails to be as good as its predecessors within the actual game sprites!!
Outside of her original skin (which is supposed to be stripped back in comparison to the others, obviously), the other two skins do gain a bit more color variety than their portraits would suggest. Where Forge gains an extra two (technically three) tones, Magmatic only gains one. “One is better than nothing thou-” no it isn’t and here’s why.
The extra tone Magmatic receives is a deeper shade of red- meant to separate her hair from her clothing, which the portrait would suggest is the same shade (and, just as a side note: that candy cherry red in the portrait is abnormally bright. Considering that her in-game hair color is the exact same as her regular and Forge skins, it’s a mystery why they chose to portray it that way). But if we actually take a closer look at that deeper red, we can see some orangey tints to it- a little bit of a natural rustiness. This is good, in a vacuum- some more natural tones would very much be appreciated in comparison to the hot colors we’ve previously received.
But there’s no point to the different shades of red. They’re so far away from each other that you would barely notice in casual use. Compare it to the Forge skin, where three different shades of red overlap to create some fun visual contrast. The strip of paint to draw your attention to her eyes and face, the deep burgundy of the twine that holds her hair back, or the strips of her helm. The color difference is useful, and employed in a way that highlights just how much color variation there is, and how it's used to its full potential.
And if you think I’m nitpicking, yeah, I am. I have to. Because there’s only four colors, and one of them is useless.
Another thing I think is an absolute tragedy is the misuse of armor. Out of all the cast, Wigfrid and Wilson are the only two characters to include armor in their Magmatic skins at all (pardoning WX, who is made of metal already so I don’t think they count). And where Wilson can get away with only having some shoulder pads, half a chestplate, and… a groin protector?? Wigfrid absolutely can’t.
Just LOOK at her Forge design. The 3D-esque effect of the helmet as it grips to her head, the scaling of the arm protection that drapes all the way down to her wrists, the detailing on her gloves, the attention devoted to the legs and feet even with their lack of space to utilize, the strips of leather that bound everything together. Wigfrid is a warrior, she was born for badass armor designs, and Magmatic completely dropped the ball.
A body devoted mostly of what looks to be red cloth of some variety, accented few and far between with a chestplate sporting a singular strip, what appears to be a sash that keeps the golden texture somehow, and hands and feet that sort of just look like she took a little dip in mustard. Where I can appreciate the design that went into the shoulderpads, it pales in comparison to the Forge’s dedication, and for a skin that’s supposed to be Forge Two it’s a major miss.
DESIGN WISE (AS A WIGFRID SKIN)
To me one of the biggest issues I have with this skin is that it doesn’t really feel as though it harps on any motifs, themes, or design choices that are really evocative of Wigfrid as a character. I can appreciate the attempt to harken back to her helmet and the wings on it by bringing that motif back in her headband, shoulderpads, and feet. However, not only do I find it to be a bit of an overuse of the design (it’s just one trope stapled onto her three times), but I find the bird aesthetic of her headpiece to be confusing as well.
Certainly, Valkyries in Norse myths are hearkened to and compared to ravens, but even if its meant to be a raven carved into the front, the bright gold is such an un-ravenlike color that it kind of just turns into looking like a generic bird of prey. The attempt to conform so heavily to one attribute of her aesthetic ends up taking two steps back, instead of even half a step forward.
But really, what’s most jarring about this skin to me is the hair. Wigfrid’s usual twin braid look is the one defining feature that makes Wigfrid’s profile look like Wigfrid at all. More- I would argue- than her head and body shape.
If I were to ask you which of these two characters is Wigfrid it would take you less than two seconds to tell me. But if I were to show you, for instance, a silhouette of her Verdant head (JUST the head, not the rest of the design here since we’re just focusing on hair)-
-I would be surprised if you could tell me who she was at all. And even then, it would probably be more the fault of the leaves that frame her head rather than anything particularly indicative about the hair itself.
More often than not, Wigfrid’s skins conform to this motif of braided hair. And even the ones that don’t will usually stick to one of two ‘back up trends’ to vaguely keep her silhouette recognizable. They’ll either:
Keep the hair shorter, but still frame the face symmetrically
Or- in the case of specifically her Refresh skin- keep the hair braided, but let the style get an asymmetric twist
Even when the skins don’t stick to the trend of twin braids, you can at least make a case for why they wouldn’t be doing so. Her Roseate and Triumphant skins are braided back to give the illusion of a more refined air, and even then, the nubs that stick out from behind the back of her head hold symmetry. Her Refresh skin, while only having one braid, excuses itself with its focus on a more aerodynamic and sleek appearance- which comes through in the posing of the portrait specifically.
The twist on her Forge skin’s hair was perfect; a slightly wilder look at the ends, tied together with some sort of twine or leather. It gives the look of needing to make due with resources at her disposal, keeping her hair in check and a little more out of the way without dampening the impact of the warrior feel.
But not only is her Magmatic hair inconsistent from the portrait to the in-game sprite (the portrait makes it resemble more of a ponytail, while the sprite doesn’t show any sort of layering between the back of the head and the dangle of hair), and not only is it asymmetrical with no stylistic benefit, but the style itself is completely purposeless! It doesn’t make a statement about the situation she’s currently in. It doesn’t tell a story or fit aesthetically with the rest of the design. It doesn’t make Wigfrid look or feel like Wigfrid at all!
AND ALSO THEY FORGOT HER GAPTOOTH IN THE PORTRAIT!!!!!!!!!
PAIN AND MISERY ONE THOUSAND YEARS!!!!!!
#anyways this is a joke but also no it isnt. its a joke bc it isnt a big deal. but it isnt bc i hate this skin one million times forever.#its just not good. its bad even.#woodie got such a badass magmatic skin so did wilson honestly. so did wx and winona and wendy#even WILLOW- for how bright the contrast was- looks better than wig does. it is NOT fair#anyways. i would have redesigned it fifteen hundred years ago but i also suck at clothing designs#so i guess me and klei are hand in unlovable hand abt this one#tfw they change max's moonbound skin bc of how bad everyone found it but wigfrid will remain gross forever#bc nobody was there for her when she needed them most. sorry sweetheart you'll be mc donal colors forever

Color: Blue Da ba dee da ba di~ darker maybe i guess Notes: Because it is a fantasy setting, and very ikemen that he is drawn he got no hair. but to be realistic, he does. yes. I would like to think that he didn't get any hair removed until he was appointed a crown prince. I would like to hc that male young princes do not remove anything until they hit puberty and gain their title rightfully. It's like time to clean up boys. After that, it becomes the lad's choice. For Chrom it kind of depend on where he is?? if he is on the battlefield, believe me, it is his last concern if he got armpit hair please... but if he return to the castle, he will take care of his appearance more. The southern region also depend on that, too. Though his carpet might be the last place he care to shave lmao. shh. Head Hair: None. Buzzed. Short. Medium. Long. Very Long. Asymmetrical Cut. Color: brue~ Style: the protagonist hairstyle idk man ask m/achina k/unagiri. length past his ears, uuuh...kind of cut it short after his coronation but then hobo mode lmao. Eye color: as gaius would say "ey blue" Details: They are brighter than his hair color..more like crystal...blue..but Lissa's eye color are brighter than his for sure. FASHION
Fashion Style: Vintage. // Traditional. // Casual. // Artsy. // Vibrant. // Geeky/Nerdy. // Tomboy. // Sporty. // Trendy. // Preppy. // Girly. // Bohemian. // Elegant. // Formal. // Grunge. // Punk. // Rocker. // Gothic. Other: Depend on the verse too tbh. in fantasy settings, he will dress something similar to his canon outfit, easy to move in. the formal wear is a must in terms of fantasy settings. In modern, he is more leaning to sporty and casual nothing to make fingers pointing 'wow rich boy' u know. but he likes to be stylish from times to times... on occasions~
Color Palette: mix of dark and light colors, preferably black, white, blue, grey, hint of yellow. is not big on red but would not dismiss it entirely.
Typical Clothing: Capes are certainly fixture for him in fantasy settings because he uses it in battles, too. Shoulder armor, gloves uh...yeah. In modern settings, shirt, jackets, trousers and most importantly a good pair of shoes which are comfortable to walk in for hours (handle his sudden impulse to train or run after someone if it was in his detective verse) his silver watch is a must. you cant see him without it. Not big on sunglasses but he might carry one just in case. He is not big on accessories too because they can get in the way tbh. unless it is something given to him by someone then he will wear it, just like his watch. i'd like think lissa gifted him a bracelet too so lets go with bracelet on his right wrist and silver watch on his left wrist yes?
Piercings: none. not sure if he will get any in modern verse but so far none.
Tattoos: In his fantasy setting it is the Brand, in modern it will be considered a tattoo. He also got an Iris flower/sword tattoo on his left arm, the backside.
Other Information: --
EXPRESSION
General Facial Expression: People who see Chrom for the first time would notice his coldish look first. Chrom, unlike his father, got the serious face which make people often mistake him for someone uptight and arrogant. However, once you talk to him, he will smile a bit more. You'll notice the smile that often surface on his face because he is not uptight one bit. If anything, he is down to earth guy but the face he was born with cannot be changed u know *upside emoji*
Default Body Language: comfortable and easy. Chrom's movements are considered to be ... less aggressive and alarming. idk how to explain it but he always put in his mind to make sure he does not alarm the person in front of him. It is a reason why Falchion is always shown and not hidden behind him all the time. Worst thing is to do something and be misunderstood in a negative light. At the same time, this would contradict something Chrom does which is hiding Falchion behind his cape whenever he is around unarmed people, kids and elderly. Might not be contradictions??? but uh shows it when he knows someone is armed, does not show it for civilians.
General Movements: mmm...nope i guess. the cape grab is just something he does to keep falchion hidden sometimes or..because cool??? XDDD listen. cape grab is just the coolest thing. ask c/ress albaine chef kiss. jokes aside, his movements as i said on the comfortable side but he does carry a regal side to him when he wants to tbh. His charming aura comes in hand with how comfortable and easy going he is.
NOTABLE FOR RP
Presence: As i mentioned above, chrom's charming presence is a key to why some people follow him--trust him if you want to say that. that charm makes people more prone to believe in his words and in his actions. he enlist courage and determination into his people. his convictions are true to his words and actions.
Appearance: Tidy for sure. minus his longish hair haha. a man was raised by his big sister and he knows how to take care of himself and of his appearance.
Scent: hint of iris flowers, blood, sweat, rain and dirt.
Voice Description: lmao describe t/omokazu sugita voice bruh. mmm stern and clear when he is talking to his men, soft and charming when he is talking to his lover...wahahahahahahaha. mat merc description??? bruh. bruuuuh. go open yt for that im not dying here for you. let me just liiiink this. but tbh i prefer the jp (not because uwu jp better than dub thing uwu no) i said this before countless of times, i just prefer how calm yet serious sounding in jp than how 'goofy' sounding he is in the eng. it is something i personally prefer you dont have to 'see' it or accept it. i already mix my portrayal of him on that fact.
Accent: yes / no More information:--
Speech Mannerisms: Chrom will default to informal / casual style because formal style suffocates him but he will oblige to that when situation demands it. Chrom most likely will match how the person in front of him talking--like in basilio and flavia's situation.
Anything else to add? he carries a huge weight he may be good at hiding it but please continue to support him and loving him !!! ;;;u;;

Some times uses text abbreviations for phrases aloud (like saying t b h instead of to be honest). Pitch can dramatically rise and fall; is as animated as anything else about him.
Anything else to add?

Note
Yeah, the faunus allegory is absolutely a mixed bag that could've been refined more, though it's good to know you don't find it *too* insulting. Agreed in full on Blake & Ruby's outfit changes being a real refresher.
I also like Weiss' outfit its so elegant and is giving snow queen i think it really fits her. Though I do miss the slight red accents she used to have, I like that they replaced it with a chilly blue color kind of showing her separation from the others. I noticed that team RWBY had small hints of another members color palette in their whole design. (Yang has hints of black in her design, Blake has white, Weiss had red accents, etc) and it always kind of made them match more like a group. But since V4 is all about division and them not being a team anymore, I think that was a nice touch to her redesign. Like she ditched the red accents in exchange for blue because she's with her family now and not with team RWBY anymore.

Easter Nails for Your Inspiration: Fun and Festive Designs
Easter is a season filled with vibrant colors, pastels, and all things joyful, making it the perfect occasion to get creative with your nails.
Whether you're attending an Easter brunch, going on an egg hunt, or simply celebrating the arrival of spring, your nails can reflect the festive spirit. From delicate florals to playful bunnies, here are some Easter nail designs that will inspire your next manicure.
1. Pastel Perfection
Pastels are synonymous with Easter, and they make for the perfect nail palette. Soft pinks, lavender, mint greens, and pale blues are ideal shades for creating a serene and springtime feel. These colors are versatile and can be worn as a solid color or combined with simple nail art for extra flair.
Simple Pastel Ombre: Blend soft pastel shades from one nail to the next for a chic ombre effect. You can use a light pink at the tips and fade it into a mint green or lavender for a smooth gradient look.
Matte Finish: Give your pastel nails a modern twist by opting for a matte finish. This gives a sophisticated and clean look to the traditional Easter shades.
2. Floral Designs
Flowers bloom in abundance during spring, making them a perfect design choice for Easter nails. You can create delicate floral patterns with different flower types or go bold with larger, more intricate blooms.
Tiny Daisies: A classic and cheerful choice, tiny white daisies on a soft pastel background are both cute and elegant. You can dot them around the nails or create a few clustered designs for added texture.
Watercolor Florals: For a more artistic approach, watercolor-inspired florals can create a soft, dreamy look. Use a fine brush to paint petals in shades of pink, yellow, or purple, blending them into each other to mimic the fluidity of watercolors.
3. Easter Bunny Accents
Easter isn’t complete without the Easter Bunny, so why not have some fun with bunny-inspired nail art? Whether it’s a subtle bunny tail or a full bunny face, these designs are sure to make your nails stand out.
Bunny Ears: Add small bunny ears to the tips of your nails for a playful design. Paint the nails in pastel shades and use white for the bunny ears. A small touch of pink in the middle of the ears can add depth.
Bunny Faces: If you're feeling a little more adventurous, paint a full bunny face on one or two accent nails. Include the floppy ears, whiskers, and a cute pink nose for an adorable look.
4. Easter Eggs and Carrots
Easter eggs are a staple of the holiday, and incorporating them into your nails is a fun and festive way to celebrate. You can opt for a simple design or get creative with intricate details.
Egg Dots and Stripes: Use pastel colors to create eggs on your nails, adding small patterns such as polka dots, stripes, or zigzag lines for decoration. Each nail can have a different design for a playful, mixed-look manicure.
Carrot Nails: For something a little different, try painting a carrot on a few nails. Using orange for the carrot body and green for the leafy tops, this quirky design will surely bring smiles.
5. Easter Chick Nails
Chicks are another Easter favorite, symbolizing new life and renewal. Adding a cute little chick to your nails will make your manicure extra special.
Baby Chick Accent Nails: Paint one or two accent nails with a baby chick design. Use bright yellow for the chick, with tiny beady eyes and a small orange beak. You can keep the rest of your nails a simple pastel to let the chick stand out.
Chick Footprints: For a more subtle Easter chick look, you can stamp tiny chick footprints across your nails, creating a playful and sweet design.
6. Glitter and Sparkles
No Easter manicure would be complete without a bit of sparkle! Glitter is an easy way to elevate your nails, whether you want to go all-out or simply add a hint of shimmer.
Glitter Gradient: Create a gradient effect with glitter on your nails. Start with a pastel base and gradually add a layer of glitter from the tip down, creating a delicate sparkle effect.
Sparkly Egg Design: For an extra festive touch, decorate your nails with glitter Easter eggs. Use bright colored polishes and top them with fine glitter to give the eggs an eye-catching, multi-dimensional finish.
7. Spring Flowers and Greenery
Spring is the time for fresh greenery and colorful blooms. Incorporate nature-inspired elements like leaves, vines, and flowers into your Easter nails.
Vine Details: Paint small green vines creeping across your nails. You can add tiny flowers along the vines for a charming, whimsical design.
Sunflowers and Tulips: Bring the colors of spring into your manicure with bright yellow sunflowers or soft tulips in pinks and purples. These bold floral designs will make your nails pop and match the bright, cheerful spirit of Easter.
8. Geometric Easter Art
If you're looking for something a bit more modern and sleek, geometric designs can add a fresh and contemporary touch to your Easter nails.
Triangle Easter Eggs: Use geometric shapes like triangles and squares to create abstract Easter egg patterns on your nails. You can use pastel colors for the base and then add the geometric shapes in a contrasting color for a chic design.
Minimalist Crosses: Keep it simple with minimalist cross designs on accent nails. This subtle nod to the Easter holiday can add a touch of elegance and significance to your nails.
Final Thoughts
Easter nails are all about creativity and fun! Whether you prefer soft pastels, floral patterns, or playful bunny designs, there are endless possibilities to express the festive spirit on your nails.
Don't be afraid to experiment and mix different designs to create a manicure that’s uniquely yours. With so many ideas to choose from, your nails will be ready to hop into the holiday season in style!

33 Tips for Designing Custom Vape Boxes
Designing custom vape boxes isn’t just about sticking to the usual recipe. It's about crafting a small, captivating universe that speaks to those who hold it. Think about it this way: what draws your eye? The sheen of foil accents catching the light, a hint of roughness on the box surface, or maybe a soft, matte finish that feels like velvet against your fingertips. Each detail is a chance to reach out, pull someone in, and whisper, This box is worth exploring.
Paint Your Personality First
Forget rules; throw away the template. Your box should sing with your brand’s heart—whether that’s rebellious, sleek, earthy, or loud. Remember, people love a bit of character, something they can connect to.
Aim for a Real Connection
Design isn’t a monologue; it’s a conversation with your audience. So, who are they? Are they thrill-seekers, eco-warriors, or tech-savvy enthusiasts? Put your ear to the ground, listen to their whispers, and let their desires shape your vision.
When Less is More—And When It’s Not
Sometimes, restraint shouts louder than flamboyance. A minimalist box can radiate sophistication without being flashy. But don’t be afraid to go all out when your design calls for it; sometimes, a burst of chaos has a charm all its own.
Texture Tells a Story
Ever brushed your hand over a leather-bound book or a piece of finely sanded wood? That’s the kind of texture that makes you pause. Your box should have that quality, that tactile whisper that says, “This is something special.” Embossing, debossing—these aren’t just fancy terms; they’re doorways to a richer, fuller experience.
Shapes, Colors, Feelings
Color is the silent language of emotion. It’s what people feel before they even open the box. A hint of green for earthiness, a flicker of silver for modernity—choose your palette like an artist mixes paints. Don’t be afraid to play with unexpected color combinations or to abandon safe choices for something more memorable.
When the Font Speaks Louder Than Words
Fonts aren’t mere letters; they’re the tone of your voice, the attitude in your words. A hand-drawn script might suggest intimacy, while a bold, sans-serif font could scream power. Choose wisely. Let your font add a layer of meaning that mere words can’t capture alone.
Build Layers of Mystery
A little mystery goes a long way. Try incorporating a window or a translucent section on the box, offering just a hint of what lies within. Let your audience wonder. Let them feel a little thrill of anticipation before the big reveal.
Small But Mighty—The Details
Details aren’t add-ons; they’re essentials. A foil-stamped logo that glints when it catches the light, a small engraved message on the inside flap, maybe even a tactile surprise tucked in a corner—these are the elements that make a box unforgettable.
Practicality With a Twist
People hate fumbling, but they love a clever design. Make sure your box opens like a well-oiled door—effortlessly. And once opened, it should close with a satisfying snap, making your customer feel like they’ve just unlocked a tiny, well-kept secret.
Compartmentalized Elegance
Imagine a box that’s more than a box—a tiny treasure chest where each item has its own space. A spot for the cartridge, a little nook for accessories. It’s not just functional; it’s thoughtful, telling the user you cared enough to think of their experience.
Go Bold, or Go Subtle—But Always Go Meaningful
Bold doesn’t always mean loud. Sometimes, a single striking element—a deep indigo interior, a strip of holographic film—can carry an entire design. Other times, a whisper is more powerful than a shout.

How To Style Pirate-Inspired Outfits For Everyday Wear
Pirate fashion might sound like something reserved for Halloween or themed events, but it can actually be incorporated into your daily wardrobe for a unique, adventurous style. By balancing pirate-inspired elements with modern pieces, you can easily create outfits that are bold yet wearable for any occasion. Here’s how to add a touch of pirate flair to your everyday look.
1. Start with Pirate-Inspired Basics
Building a pirate-inspired wardrobe starts with versatile basics that you can mix and match with modern clothing:
Billowy blouses: Opt for soft, flowy blouses with lace or embroidery. These pieces bring a romantic, pirate-inspired vibe to your look while staying comfortable.
High-waisted skirts or trousers: These provide a flattering silhouette that echoes the classic pirate style but works perfectly for everyday wear.
Vests or waistcoats: A fitted vest over a simple blouse or shirt adds structure and instantly gives off a pirate-inspired feel.

2. Choose Pirate-Inspired Outerwear
Outerwear is an essential part of pirate fashion and can be easily styled for everyday looks:
Trench coats: A classic trench coat can evoke the spirit of pirate fashion when paired with modern pieces like jeans or a skirt.
Cropped jackets: Choose leather or suede jackets with subtle detailing to channel pirate vibes while keeping your outfit casual.
Capes or ponchos: For a more dramatic flair, capes or ponchos add a hint of pirate style without feeling too costume-like.
These outerwear choices work well with everyday outfits, giving them a touch of historical charm.
3. Accessorize with Pirate Details
Accessories are where pirate fashion truly shines. However, you can keep it subtle by choosing small, impactful items:
Leather belts: Wide belts with vintage buckles can be worn over dresses or tunics, adding structure and a pirate-inspired edge.
Scarves: A scarf worn around the neck or as a headband offers a quick way to introduce a pirate touch to your outfit.
Jewelry: Layered necklaces, vintage-inspired rings, or brass earrings can add an understated pirate element to your everyday outfits.
4. Incorporate Stripes into Your Wardrobe
Stripes are a timeless part of pirate fashion, and they’re easy to incorporate into modern outfits:
Striped tops: Choose horizontal stripes in neutral tones like black, white, or navy to bring a subtle nautical touch to your look.
Pairing stripes with solids: Balance a striped top with solid-colored pants or skirts for a polished, pirate-inspired outfit that still feels modern.
Stripes are versatile and can be styled in a way that’s chic yet still evokes a hint of pirate fashion.
5. Stick to Neutral and Earthy Tones
Pirate fashion often uses a palette of earthy, natural colors that can easily be incorporated into modern wardrobes. Stick to these tones for a grounded, wearable look:
Leather accessories: Incorporate brown or black leather belts, bags, and vests to add a rustic, pirate-inspired touch to your outfits.
Natural fabrics: Fabrics like linen, cotton, or suede in colors like beige, brown, black, or dark red work well for pirate-inspired clothing that blends seamlessly with your existing wardrobe.
Using earthy tones helps keep your pirate-inspired outfits stylish and understated, perfect for everyday wear.
6. Add Ruffles and Lace for a Romantic Look
Ruffles and lace are key features of pirate fashion that can be easily adapted to modern styles. They add a vintage touch without overwhelming your outfit:
Ruffled blouses: Pair a ruffled blouse with fitted jeans or a high-waisted skirt for a modern pirate look.
Lace trims: Lace details on tops, skirts, or even scarves can introduce a delicate, romantic feel to your outfit, paying homage to pirate fashion without being too bold.
By incorporating these elements, you can add texture and interest to your everyday outfits while keeping them wearable.
7. Finish Your Look with Pirate-Inspired Headwear
Headwear can be a subtle yet effective way to complete your pirate-inspired outfit:
Bandanas: A bandana tied around your head or neck is an easy way to introduce pirate flair into your everyday look.
Wide-brimmed hats: A floppy, wide-brimmed hat can add drama to your outfit while maintaining a chic, pirate-inspired aesthetic.

Transform Your Bathroom with Neutral Mosaic Tiles: Versatile Designs for Every Home
When it comes to bathroom design, choosing the right materials can make a significant difference in both aesthetics and functionality. One trend that has gained immense popularity is the use of neutral mosaic tiles. These versatile tiles offer a timeless elegance that can elevate any bathroom space. In this article, we explore the versatility of neutral mosaic tiles in bathroom design, providing you with valuable insights and practical tips to create a stunning and serene bathroom.
What Are Neutral Mosaic Tiles?
Neutral mosaic tiles are small, decorative tiles that come in a variety of muted colors such as whites, grays, beiges, and soft pastels. Unlike bold and vibrant tiles, neutral mosaic tiles offer a subtle and sophisticated look, making them a perfect choice for creating a calming and cohesive bathroom environment. These tiles are available in different materials, including glass, ceramic, porcelain, and natural stone, each offering unique textures and finishes.
Benefits of Using Neutral Mosaic Tiles in Bathrooms
1. Timeless Aesthetic
Neutral mosaic tiles never go out of style. Their understated colors and classic patterns ensure that your bathroom remains stylish for years to come. Whether you prefer a minimalist look or a more traditional design, neutral mosaic tiles can seamlessly blend with various styles.
2. Versatility in Design
One of the greatest advantages of neutral mosaic tiles is their versatility. They can be used in numerous ways, such as backsplashes, shower walls, flooring, and accent walls. This flexibility allows you to experiment with different layouts and patterns without overwhelming the space with color.
3. Enhancing Space Perception
Light-colored mosaic tiles can make a small bathroom appear larger and more open. The reflective surfaces of certain materials, like glass mosaic tiles, can enhance natural light, creating a bright and airy atmosphere.
4. Easy to Match with Other Elements
Neutral tones provide a perfect backdrop for other design elements in your bathroom. They easily complement various fixtures, cabinetry, and accessories, allowing you to personalize your space without clashing colors or patterns.
Popular Neutral Colors and Patterns
Neutral mosaic tiles come in a wide range of colors and patterns to suit different design preferences:
Whites and Off-Whites: Ideal for creating a clean and pristine look.
Grays: Offer a modern and sophisticated touch.
Beiges and Browns: Add warmth and a natural feel to the bathroom.
Soft Pastels: Introduce a subtle hint of color without being overpowering.
Patterns such as herringbone, subway, and geometric designs are popular choices that add visual interest while maintaining a neutral palette.
How to Choose the Right Mosaic Tiles for Your Bathroom
1. Quality and Durability
When selecting mosaic tiles, consider their durability and suitability for bathroom environments. Porcelain and ceramic tiles are excellent choices for their water resistance and longevity. Ensure that the tiles you choose are rated for high-moisture areas to prevent damage and maintain their appearance over time.
2. Texture and Finish
The texture and finish of mosaic tiles can greatly impact the overall look of your bathroom. Glossy tiles reflect light and add a touch of elegance, while matte tiles offer a more understated and modern feel. Textured tiles can add depth and interest to walls and floors.
3. Size and Shape
Mosaic tiles come in various sizes and shapes, allowing you to create unique patterns and layouts. Smaller tiles can be used for intricate designs, while larger mosaic tiles can cover more area with fewer grout lines, making them easier to clean.
Tips for Incorporating Mosaic Tiles in Bathroom Design
1. Backsplash Areas
Using neutral mosaic tiles as a backsplash behind the sink or vanity can add a stylish focal point without overwhelming the space. Choose a subtle pattern or a mix of different textures to create visual interest.
2. Shower Walls
Mosaic tiles are perfect for shower walls as they are water-resistant and easy to clean. Neutral colors ensure that the shower area remains bright and inviting. Consider using a combination of tile sizes and shapes to create a custom look.
3. Flooring
Neutral mosaic tiles can make bathroom floors both beautiful and functional. Choose slip-resistant tiles to ensure safety, and opt for lighter colors to make the space feel larger.
4. Accent Walls
Create an accent wall using neutral mosaic tiles to add depth and dimension to your bathroom. This is a great way to highlight architectural features or add a touch of luxury without dominating the entire space.
Finding the Best Tile Shop for Mosaic Tiles
Choosing the right tile shop is crucial to finding high-quality mosaic tiles that meet your design needs and budget. Here are some tips to help you find the best tile shop:
1. Variety and Selection
Look for a tile shop that offers a wide range of mosaic tiles in different colors, materials, and patterns. A diverse selection allows you to find the perfect tiles that match your vision.
2. Pricing and Budget
Compare prices from different tile shops to ensure you are getting good value for your money. Consider the quality of the tiles and any additional services the shop may offer, such as installation or design consultations.
3. Customer Service and Support
Choose a tile shop with knowledgeable and friendly staff who can assist you in selecting the right tiles and provide expert advice on installation and maintenance. Good customer service ensures a smooth and enjoyable shopping experience.
Conclusion
Neutral mosaic tiles offer endless possibilities for bathroom design, combining timeless beauty with practical functionality. Their versatility makes them an excellent choice for creating a serene and stylish bathroom that can adapt to changing trends and personal tastes. By choosing the right mosaic tiles and partnering with a reputable tile shop, you can transform your bathroom into a beautiful and inviting space.
Whether you're renovating an existing bathroom or designing a new one, consider the versatility of neutral mosaic tiles to achieve a look that is both elegant and enduring. With their ability to enhance space perception, complement various design elements, and provide a durable surface, neutral mosaic tiles are a smart investment for any bathroom project.
