Reading Anne Rice seems to be a constant cycle of: This is one of the best things I've ever read. This is one of the worst things I've ever read. I'm bored. Get to the point! This is so exaggeratedly descriptive. This is so wonderfully descriptive. I can see it so vividly in my head and love it! It feels like I'm experiencing it myself and not in a good way, make it stop! Laughs. Cries. Chills. Depression! Autism! BPD! ADHD! Dyslexia! Everyone gets a DSM condition! And some that aren't even discovered yet! And they're all amplified by vampirism! Nobody gets medication or therapy, though! The Catholicism and Catholic guilt are heavy on those people. The existential crisis is real. Whoa there, great discussion. I can relate. I hate this POV. You're my favorite character. You're my favorite ship. These two should kiss. I’m rereading Queen of Air and Darkness and this is why I desperately need a whole book where we just get Ty’s pov of the different scenes. Was he excited about going on this new quest with his crush Kit and then deflated when he realized that Kit might like Dru? I would just kill to know what he was thinking in this scene. He already saw Livvy and Kit sharing a kiss so this probably solidified the idea that his feelings for Kit were unrequited. Which breaks my heart into a million tiny pieces, honestly.

I just can’t wait to see Ty tell his side of the story, how everything played out in his mind when TWP comes around.

This song tells an entire story, from the slower sections at the beginning and middle to the fast-paced yet melancholy mood of the rest of the song, to the leitmotifs from past games seamlessly incorporated into the original melody. This song even got the Xenoblade honor of only being used twice in the main game! Both the times it was used were some of the best cutscenes in the entire game.
