I do love these two, I truly believe they can care about one another when they each think nobody can see Make Eachother Worse.

Ouma will be fine, or as fine as he already was anyway. Just imagine the QI klaxon going off when he says something bolded and it'll make more sense.

Not sure if I should call this the Test Arc or the Detector Arc or something, since I've scripted a few more comics but honestly do not know if Miu will be in a bunch more of these and calling it the Miu arc will be Unhelpful. Thoughts?

Junko:Obviously Makoto and I got the biggest Rizz of them all, because it's the only way you can pull your biggest enemy as your lover?

Miu:Fuck off, The Biggest Rizz of them all is Shuichi who managed to pull a golden babe with the golden brain, followed by me who managed to pull Shuichi.

Natsumi:Piss off, the one with the biggest Rizz is Hajime who managed to pull me, the sister of Fuyuhiko Kuzuryuu and the princess of the Kuzuryuu Clan...followed by me who managed to pull Hajime.

Makoto:...I don't know who would have the biggest Rizz, I mean the only person in my entire life that I attracted is Junko which sure is a lot, but she's one person so I don't know how much that counts...

Hajime:I only managed to attract Natsumi...to this day I don't know how I did it, but it's just her although I guess she counts for a lot of points in whatever metric you're using.

Shuichi:The only person that's ever into me was Miu, I mean that's impressive by itself but it's still one person only.

I have not accounted DR V3 into my own continuity yet aside from my selfship so let's just assume everyone is alive for the present opening (but Korek*yo isn't there today). I'm also not sure how many SDR2 characters show up again in the next school year (DR V3) in my continuity so I left out the other SDR2 characters.

Tenko's birthday started out with her eating tripe hot pot for breakfast.

Her girlfriends said she could throw them. Zoey is okay with it as long as she is thrown at the extra fall cushion.

Kazuichi...she tried, but she's so sensitive. Also, Zoey fighting her protective instincts for Kazuichi (she's wearing her contacts so she doesn't break her glasses).

And she got to open her presents. She liked almost all of them.

Freeze dried space cake from Kazuichi and Zoey (joint present because it was expensive to get the entire cake)

Himiko removed the cloak to reveal...a Potted Banyan Tree! (she wasn't sure how to wrap it but she got to reveal it like it was a magic act)

There was an awkward moment where Tenko accidentally thanked Zoey and Kazuichi for the workout clothes even though they were from Kaito because she was opening them kind of fast and thought that her favorite present came from her girlfriends and not a degener- I mean, a boy- um, I mean someone who is not her girlfriend.

Uhhh, anywayyyy, what distracted everyone from that awkward moment was when they realized the big box present was...from Kokichi. Kokichi acted really excited about the present, but also implied something big might pop out if Tenko opened it, which -knowing Kokichi - this freaked everyone out. Miu agreed to use her metal arms to find out if the box was a trap. Everyone waited anxiously, hoping the box wouldn't explode or anything.

Aaaand... it was a milk puzzle. 😑

Then why write about it? If for coping purposes, why post it online for others (especially actual predators) to see and consume? I don't read smut. I barely write smut. This is an unfounded assumption. Also, that is using the slippery slope fallacy. There are many things in fiction I write about that I don't condone in real life, such as murder, abuse, graphic bodily harm, and child endangerment.

The assumption that people condone shit they read and write about is kind of weird to me, mate.

Yes, even though I've only had a handful of underage fictional crushes since I've turned 18. (Miu Iruma, currently.)

In 90% of cases, teenaged fictional characters look, are voiced by, and act like adults. The narrative treats them as adults. If a character's age isn't directly relevant to the plot, why care about it?

Why does the line between finding someone who is (and usually also looks like) a child sexually attractive get drawn at whether the child is real or not?

A very good question! The answer is because a real child is harmed, while a fictional one isn't. Paedophilia isn't bad due to the fact its gross (and I do find it gross.), its bad because someone gets hurt!

The only time fictional characters get hurt, is when we authors/readers IMAGINE them getting hurt. All harm done is imaginary.

Furthermore, I really dislike you using 'looks like a child' here. Thats body shaming, since there is a large portion of adults that happen to look like children. A lot of disabled people are also infantilized for similar reasons. Looks have nothing to do with the morality of an act.

Creating content of underaged characters is still questionable regardless of age, however.

More on my Bizarre V3 AU

Welp, you voted for it. I decided to do this on a character-by-character basis. Watch out! Direct and indirect V3 spoilers ahead!

Shuichi Saihara: The sort-of protagonist of this story (although there's meant to be focus on a multitude of characters,) and runs a local detective agency. His plot begins with him getting multiple cases on disappearances, reappearances, and displacements, which all seem to be somehow connected. Harbors a crush on Kaede.

Kaito Momota: The self-proclaimed "Luminary of the Stars" and a young man attempting to become an astronaut, although is waiting on his application to come back after multiple attempts to submit a fake application, including in his teenage years. Runs multiple gigs and odd jobs, including one at Shuichi's detective agency. He calls Shuichi his "sidekick," despite the fact that it tends to be the other way around. Another job he has is as a babysitter, putting him in contact with other babysitters for larger groups of children as a result.

Kaede Akamatsu: A pianist that plays at large theaters and is commissioned for her work at restaurants, parties, plays, etc. Harbors a crush on Shuichi and eventually assists him in his detective work as the case grows larger and more connections are made. As more information is obtained on the case from both Shuichi and others, she ends up getting captured repeatedly by DICE, although she's treated surprisingly well in captivity. Has also had multiple run-ins with Miu Iruma, none of which Kaede likes to talk about.

Miu Iruma: Inventor and multi-talented engineer commissioned by various groups for devices. Kaito occasionally works as an assistant in her lab as one of his gigs/odd jobs, especially since Miu often gets commissioned for designs from the space agency Kaito applied for. Is unnaturally flexible and elastic. Has another long-term assistant in the form of Kiibo.

Kiibo: A mysteriously high-tech android currently working as an assistant at Miu's laboratory. Hired Shuichi to look for Professor Idabashi, the man who supposedly created him, but the case has unfortunately gone cold. Will have more relevance in season 2 as more on Professor Idabashi is revealed.

Maki Harukawa: A babysitter that despite her sinister nature, is really good with kids. Actually an assassin working for an organization that is essentially the world's military, and her current target is the ex-convict Ryoma Hoshi. Would rather be a babysitter, despite saying that she doesn't like kids. Secretly harbors a crush on Kaito Momota after multiple conversations while the two of them cared for the same group of kids. Has an unnatural degree of control over her body and some of her targets have their bodies warped or downright blown-up.

Ryoma Hoshi: A tennis player and prisoner formerly on death row for massacring a mafia for killing everyone he knew, released by and put under the protection of DICE, who want him to join the organization. Was put on a hitlist by the military organization Maki works for solely because of his destructive capabilities, including superhuman speed and reflexes, despite his lack of will to live, which DICE correctly concluded makes him harmless.

Kokichi Oma: The enigmatic leader of DICE, a criminal organization known for pranks, thievery of all sorts, and being averse to killing. Abhors killing, as his organization suggests, and one of the current goals of both him and DICE in general are to prevent the assassination of Ryoma Hoshi. Became a babysitter to gather information on Maki and hamper her assassination attempts, meeting Katio and eventually Shuichi in the process. Repeatedly flirts with both Kaito and Shuichi. Has a bizarre relationship with Miu, where they're both openly hostile to eachother despite DICE using plenty of Miu's inventions and Miu never retaliating against DICE aside from insulting their leader. Known to seemingly shift into the shadows and is said that a black smoke cloud is a sign of him being near.

Gonta Gokuhara: The heir of the rich Gokuhara family of well-acclaimed botanists and only survivor after the rest of the family mysteriously died over the years. Attempts to combine his entomology knowledge with the family business of botany, to effective results. Said to be able to communicate with a variety of animals, especially insects. Is currently looking for an odd blue glowing dragonfly he saw once at night, being assisted by his maid, Kirumi Tojo.

Kirumi Tojo: The sole maid and only other inhabitant of the Gokuhara manor. Her responsibilities include cooking, cleaning, bodyguarding, managing the vegetation growing in and around Gokuhara manor, and other services for her master, Gonta, including helping to find an odd blue glowing dragonfly he saw one night. Is actually a government agent working directly under the president/prime minister to monitor and protect the last member of the Gokuhara family as well as find this blue dragonfly to keep it out of anyone else's hands. Seems to always carry cleaning supplies and odd string on hand, even if it's unsure where she got them from. Has an uncannily good instinct and ability to read other people, as well as various convenient things happening when she's around, such as inexplicable strikes of lightning or the the plants of Gokuhara manor surviving longer and growing more flowers and fruits despite no change to their upkeep. Said to have a really good singing voice.

Himiko Yumeno: A talented magician and self-proclaimed mage that performs in both large shows and small birthday parties. As a child, she once touched a mysterious glowing blue flower that supposedly gave her her "magic powers". Likes visiting the local artist-priestess for weekly sermons. Has an assistant and bodyguard in the form of Tenko Chabashira.

Tenko Chabashira: The bodyguard, assistant, and lover(?) of Himiko Yumeno, protecting her from threats male and female alike. Practices "Neo-Aikido," an aggressive variant of aikido that takes elements from both athletic and professional wrestling. She's very protective of Himiko, verging on overprotective at times. Thinks a lean long-haired man is stalking both her and Himiko and doesn't trust the artist-priestess Himiko likes so much. Is unnaturally flexible and elastic.

Angie Yonaga: An artist and high priestess spreading the word of a new freeform monotheistic religion of a god that goes by many names that cares for all of their creations, even if it doesn't seem like that at first or in odd ways, and uses humans like her as vessels to spread the word as oracles and priests. Her weekly sermons include her preaching the religion's ideals and beliefs, praying, art activities, and blood donations.

Korekiyo Shinguji: A traveling anthropologist with a slight lean towards folklore that studies cultures from big and popular to small and secluded. Is especially curious about what are known as the "seven holy essences," seven colorful items that take many forms, as well as several smaller, lesser essences. Both the main seven and the lesser essences are said to grant powers and wishes and appeared in a variety of cultures all over. Joins in Angie's sermons due to the interest in her religion and its ideals. Is also planning on becoming a serial killer to give his recently-deceased sister 100 friends, and has found his first target.

Rantaro Amami: A drifter looking for his twelve sisters as well as some item known as "Mercury," which he believes to have caused at least one of his sisters' disappearances. Used to be the green ranger in version 2 of the government-sponsored "Star-Hunter Squadron: Elite Rangers" and the only member that is known to be alive or at the very least safe. Doesn't like Tsumugi Shirogane.

Tsumugi Shirogane: An ordinary girl that likes fiction and cosplay and works at a clothing store.

ack thank you!! it is a group effort between myself and a couple of my dear friends (and v3 playing companions)… i just wish the kubs were a bit more relevant, i think, and i feel that would be a really lovely way to characterize iruma outside of her free time events (which are hit or miss at best).

i have a little mental image of iruma, maybe in the dining hall during breakfast circa ch. 3, and she’s being as crass as ever. the remaining kubs enter the room, monotaro (who iruma has ‘adopted’ at this point) greets her joyfully. plot happens as it often does, but then someone in the room says “fuck” and miu gasps, covers monotaro’s ears, and responds with “hey! don’t fucking swear in front of monotaro, what the fuck is wrong with you, sleazy cunt?!” or something to that effect. she proceeds to uncover monotaro’s ears, pat his little head, and asks if he wants to share her breakfast.

it’s very silly, and i know that the kubs being irrelevant is part of the point. but i really wish they interacted more with their environment and with the students. it would make them a million times more tolerable for me.

Kiibo’s electric blue eyes do dart over to Chihiro at that, softened at the edges, and Chihiro feels her face flushing somewhat but still smiles. It’s silly, but Kiibo is always so nice to her… Chihiro can’t help wanting to listen to them talk about just about anything, so long as they’re not forcing themself.

“Well… I suppose it’s relevant right now, anyway,” Kiibo says, clearing their throat and turning away again. “I’ve been having a sort of… overheating issue, I guess. I’m not sure what causes it, but I’ll be having a normal conversation when all of a sudden my fans start going off and it feels as though my systems are working overtime… it’s quite overwhelming.” Kiibo smooths their hand down the side of their neck. “I’d hate to cause damage to Professor Iidabashi’s craftsmanship by letting it go unchecked.”

They’re so conscientious… Chihiro touches her chin with her hand. “Overheating…? Would you be alright if I took a look? I-I’m nowhere near on Iruma-san’s level of expertise, but I could at least tell you if there was an obvious issue… you said you don’t know the cause?”

Long numbers games!?

So as this post showed, Tsumugi’s birthmonth divided by birthday brings up this- 0.5333333333. Pretty straightforward association: 53rd game. Rantaro’s comes up with 3.3333333333 (like ‘Don’t forget Oct 3rd’ or something?? haha). Seems there’s something going on with more of them, so

Let’s uh, try the rest of them:

Kaito Momota: 4th month / 12th day = 0.3333333333

Miu Iruma: 11th month / 16th day = 0.6875

Kiibo: 10th month / 29th day = 0.3448275862

Kirumi Tojo: 5th month / 10th day = 0.5

Himiko Yumeno: 12th month / 3rd day = 4 (LMAO, cursed)

Maki Harukawa: 2nd month / 2nd day = 1

There's something else too (go to this post for context!)

Alright. Ouma's ‘ni shi’, 24 / Saihara's ‘shi ni’, 42 gives us... this: 0.5714285714. It's basically the same as their birthday results after the decimal, except removing the first 2 and 8. A reason for this I’ve found after a little research is that the repeating number chain ‘142857′ is called a ‘cyclical number’, and I’ve found others of this exact type testing out other characters’ birthdays: Chiaki/Chihiro, Gundham, Nagito and Masaru. 

That said, none of those match this pattern so precisely. But if you multiply Ouma’s birthday result by two, you get a perfect match to the 24/42 number even if you use the precision calculator to calculate everything.

I've noticed there are other cyclical numbers too (one other is 692307 shared by Sakura and Sonia, who have the same birth day but a month apart) but still a lot of variation among all the long numbers besides. Having two varied long numbers turn out almost the exact same like Ouma’s and Saihara’s do is so... weird. It’s like the birthdays were engineered to have nigh perfect correlation with each other at the base level or something...

I’m also curious- is there some kind of relevance to the number loop 142857? Or idk, any other numbers that are showing up? Because one other birthday that had my attention was Gundham’s whose is identical to Okabe Rintaro from Steins;Gate (maybe because... chuunis LOL), and had that same number loop. And oh here’s a fun one: Monaca’s result is 4, the same as Himiko’s :’) Both of them are self-prescribed ‘mages’. That had to be done on purpose.

I can definitely relate to having archer and astrologist characters!

Kaede Akamatsu: (Astrologist)

Horoscopes were actually her everything, she always found them so interesting.

She kept very accurate track of the constellations and the planets as well.

How else could she apply everything she knew?

Kirumi Tojo: (Botanist)

She didn’t technically have a specialty in terms of what she studied.

Plants of all kinds were interesting and relevant to her studies.

She took care of quite a few of them at school.

Angie Yonaga: (Journalist)

Coming from a small island, she had to work super hard to get her name out there.

She’d worked her way up in journalism, and was known for having very trustworthy sources.

No matter what, she wanted to keep up her good credibility.

Tenko Chabashira: (Puzzler)

While she did like puzzles of many kinds, she did love logic puzzles.

Puzzle books from a store took her fifteen minutes to complete, tops.

She always reached for them when she was feeling stressed.

Miu Iruma: (Badminton Player)

Badminton used to just be a hobby of hers.

But when she learned she could get big from it…

Well, she actually did like it, but she wasn’t about to tell people that.

Tsumugi Shirogane: (Idol)

She just loved being on the stage, sharing her feelings through music!

But when she wasn’t in the limelight, she had a bit of a forgettable face.

Which at least got her away from paparazzi.

Maki Harukawa: (Librarian)

She had a good amount of experience with finding things quickly on vague descriptions.

Though she preferred rooms to be quiet.

And for people to treat loaned items, especially books, well.

Himiko Yumeno: (Archer)

She loved bragging about how she could guide an arrow anywhere.

Her accuracy really was unmatched!

It was why she liked days without wind so much.

Shuichi Saihara is a normal teenage boy who likes routine... Okay, that's a bit of an understatement. He NEEDS routine otherwise the world will go to crumbles and it will be all his fault. Or that's what his obsessive compulsive disorder would have him believe anyway. His mother gets an audition to partake in a role in a new movie coming up but said movie will be shot in America and she doesn't want any more baggage than the ones she'll have to put in claims and with his father out of the picture she has no one to oppose her as she admits her son back into the mental hospital. The rug is pulled out from underneath Shuichi yet again once he comes into contact with a rather chaotic, yet strangely charming, liar.

(This will not be entirely in Shuichi's POV and is not JUST a Saiouma story and will switch between characters as they become relevant)
