Born in Gold Coast, Australia on December 23, 1999, Michaela Sommers was introduced to the world of motorsports from an early age. Her father, Tobias, and his brother, Travis, were avid Formula racing fans who idolized the likes of Senna, Schumacher, and Lauda. The motorsports bug skipped over Sommers' older sister, Courtney, before biting her at the mere age of six. By her ninth birthday, Michaela was competing in karting championships along the Australian east coast.

Despite her natural aptitude for racing, Michaela recalls facing discrimination for both her race and gender quite early on while karting, even going as far as entering under a male name to avoid arbitrary sponsorship barriers. Despite the negativity that would swirl around her reputation, the young driver would win her first national championship at the age of twelve with plenty of rumors circling concerning her future in the sport. Sommers would attempt to enter her first international competition but was forced to pull out after her father lost his job in the summer of 2012.

Without much hope, Michaela would step back from racing for nearly six months before eventually deciding to join her uncle who had moved to England after his marriage just years prior. Travis then became Michaela's manager, working endlessly to ensure his niece would be able to continue climbing the karting ladder. Shortly after her move to England, her uncle would connect with Australian F1 driver Mark Webber who would travel to watch her race in a regional competition in 2013. Stunned by her potential, Webber helped the young girl to catch the attention of a racing team competing in the Ginetta Junior Championship alongside future McLaren teammate Lando Norris. Sommers' transition to racing cars would prove successful, securing a junior championship at just 14 years old.

Sommers would continue working through the ranks, receiving extensive media attention and comparisons to Lewis Hamilton as a teenager. Spending one year at the Formula 3 level, Michaela would race for British team Jagonya Ayam in 2015 finishing fifth in the championship and second in the rookie cup, both below Charles Leclerc. Her performance would catch the attention of Italian team Prema Racing who signed her to development for higher formulae alongside Pierre Gasly for the 2016 season.

Despite an average result, ending her rookie season in sixth place, Prema would resign the Australian who would be simultaneously be selected to join the Ferrari driver development program for the 2017 season. That same year, Sommers would wrap up her Formula 2 season in second place, once again behind Charles Leclerc.

Eventually, Michaela would finally secure a Formula 2 championship in 2018 while signing on as a reserve driver for Ferrari. Her official Formula One debut came after Sommers signed on to be Alfa Romeo's second-seat driver for the 2019 season, securing two points in her debut race before finishing her rookie season in eighth place.

TASK 001 - Follow the Strange Trails - A Ben anak Bandi Playlist

As someone who appreciates poetry, it should be no surprise that Ben also enjoys music. He believes that music, much like cooking, benefits from a wide pallet, and he likes to sample all different genres and songs, particularly those with interesting lyrics. While he deeply enjoys the lyricism of it all, he also has a special fondness for classic rock music, grunge, and folk.

Ben's playlist is separated into chapters, with a prologue, two chapters, and an epilogue at the end. Each chapter is themed, with the first being representative of his love of rock and the second representing more moody tracks with a heavy focus on lyricism. OGDEN TASK 001: INITIAL SIT DOWNS

In all honesty, despite having absolutely nothing to hide the idea of being questioned by law enforcement was so scary. Sam sat in her seat, hands twiddling her lap as she tried to look like this was all okay and she did not have anything to hide. She absolutely did not have anything to hide, but she knew the more nervous you seemed the more it would seem like it! And she was the sort who was bound to say something really stupid just to seem like she wasn’t doing anything wrong, when it was completely true and she really was not doing anything wrong. a little like that scene of Ben in Parks and Rec. So, she tried to keep her cool, and would do what she had been told. Just answer the questions that were asked, and not talk about anything else. 

So, she sat there, and gave a polite (slightly forced) greeting and waited for the questions. She really just … hated cops, they made her so uncomfortable.

“When did you last speak to Greer?”

“Uhm,” Sam puffed her cheeks out, and slowly blew out the air considering the question carefully. She didn’t want to get in trouble because she had forgotten some obscure detail. “It was probably the summer before last. I think she had come over to my apartment building because she was picking Ollie- Ollie Inoue, he’s my next door neighbor- up for some concert, or a party or something, and we said hello to each other.”  

“When did you last actually see Greer?”

“Sometime last year. Probably in winter or something like that. I think Ollie got a ride back with her from Ogden and she dropped him off.”

“How well did you know Greer?”

“Not well at all, really,” Sam said, shaking her head. “I knew of her more than I really knew her. We went to the same High School, but we didn’t have many interactions or anything. I know people who knew her better, like I’m friends with her younger brother Mitch, and she was friends with my neighbor like I said. So I heard about her more than I ever really spoke to her. We spoke about like… one whole time, besides greeting each other in hallways, or acknowledging when we were around each other.”

“What was your relationship with Greer like?”

“It was okay I guess,” she said, with a small shrug. “I didn’t have any bad interactions with her, or anything like that. She always seemed nice to me. So, if you can count yourself having an okay relationship with someone you didn’t really have an actual relationship with then I guess that’s what it was like for Greer and I.”

“Have you heard or seen anything about where she was this summer?”

“I don’t really think I’m the person who you should be asking something like that,” Sam said, with a small laugh. “You guys probably know much more than I do at this point. But all I know is people didn’t really see her after they left school. That’s as much as I really know.”

“You wouldn’t have wanted Greer to disappear, would you?”

“No, of course not! Everything going on is so terrible, there are so many people that have been affected by this the stress around campus is practically palpable. It’s always very sad to hear about someone losing a loved one, and when there is no way to get closure for the tragic event that has happened because the person in question has gone missing. Whether she’s run away, or something has happened to her – I hope not – it’s not something I would have ever wanted. I really don’t even know Greer well enough to want something like that either way, if we’re being honest. My heart goes out to everyone who did know and care about her, though. I hope someone is able to get to the bottom of this soon.”

          Lunch was Cal’s favorite time to practice in the music rooms because most people were either in class or eating their lunch. They preferred not to be anywhere that was crowded, as ironic as that sounded. At one point, they loved the crowds and the attention. Technically, they still did—sometimes attention at Ogden felt like the wrong type of attention. And with Greer missing, Cal felt like everyone was watching everyone else for something. He didn’t like that feeling either. They spotted Mitch in one of the rooms and knocked lightly on the door. “Mind if I join you?” they asked softly.

Watching her standing in the hall, he held onto the doorknob and drummed his fingers against it, but then eventually he sighed, made a decision, and opened the door some more.

Walking into his loft, and assuming she was behind him, he picked up a white, dirty rag and wiped his paint-stained hands on it before running one hand through his curls. "I really don't think I wanna talk," he said with a shrug, turning back to put his hands on the backrest of the couch and look at her. "I'm done with her."

The break-up didn't look like it was sitting well with him. Not that she faulted him for it. "Yeah, I heard..." she said in sympathy. "I'm sorry, Mitch." It wasn't her that needed to be apologizing, but she felt terrible all the same for what had happened. Ezme was quick to shake her head, eyes widening in sincerity. "I'm not. I promise." She frowned, biting down on her lower lip. As horrible as she felt for him, she was just as mad at her friend for what she'd done. "I did genuinely just want to check in on you... No other motive, I swear. So I don't know, if you wanted someone to talk to or complain to, well, I'm offering."

It felt like forever since he'd visited Critical Roll. Even though Mitch had spent the whole summer in town he often found himself working, moping around, or playing Baldur's Gate in his apartment. Though he wasn't buying anything other then one pack of magic cards, Mitch had decided to stay a little longer. Feeling the need to get away from Pizzagedon when he could, now that he was renting the tiny apartment above the pizzeria. Looking over his shoulder to the person who'd spoken, he arched his dark brows and peaked over the thick dark rim of his glasses. "Are they closing down already?"
