April 28 - May 1, 2024 - the CW sniper is dead.

Supernatural trends following the passing of the CW sniper. Whilst no official confirmation was published regarding their death, Misha Collins made a statement regarding destiel and since he's still alive, we can conclude that the CW sniper is no more.

The Cross Roads 8 Supernatural convention is currently taking place [x]. As usual, things have been said. There was one statement however which caused the tag to trend and it was (unsurprisingly) by Misha Collins, in response to a question asked by our bravest soldier @sunglassesmish [x].

"If the CW wasn't so homophobic, Dean and Cas would've been balls deep for sure." [x] [x] [x]

Whilst this may not be the exact quote (I haven't been able to find a video yet), this was enough to cause a destiel revival. More things have happened, and people on Twitter are posting under #CR8 in case anyone's interested. Multiple Supernatural tags are trending there as well [x].

There’s few people that when the cameras are rolling, you get to truly create moments that aren’t on the page. And it’s hard sometimes to find rhythm and cohesiveness with everyone you work with, and when you find the rare person that can play at a level that makes you wanna be better, it almost is like a high. That when the creative juices are flowing, you’re making moments that you maybe didn’t even plan to be there—happy accidents, we used to call them—an emotion or between the lines nuance moments. I think that the reason that the story of Dean and Cas skewed to where it was, was because I kept being able to have that creative ignition with Mish when things were rolling that made me a better actor, and made me wanna find that even more.

Like on one hand you have misha and jarpad, who are pretty much the exact opposites of their characters in every way, and then on the other you have jensen ackles, who is at all times experiencing the worst case of character bleed in the entire world. Canonically, Dean never said Cas’ name after the fake phone call in 15.19. Canonically, while Bobby said Cas “Helped” revamp Heaven into a Heaven that Dean “deserved,” Cas never showed up. Canonically, Dean left that heaven, which contained his family, to go “find family.”

There is a glitch that is Cas-shaped, and Dean knows it.
