considering steve and danny have the worst timing and are prone to miscommunication, it would be just steve's luck if one day he decides he's finally had enough and it's time to tell danny how he feels about him, whatever happens it'll be out on the open and he could finally try to move on if the answer isn't the one he's hoping for.

danny listens to steve's confession with a shock and surprise but clear elation like he's getting an unexpected welcome gift, before he seems to have some realization, disappointment washes over him, his face falls and he says 'YOU THINK IT'S FUNNY TO PLAY WITH MY HEART? AM I A JOKE TO YOU? NEVER TALK TO ME AGAIN'.

he storms off leaving distraught and confused steve in his wake, trying to understand where it all went so wrong. then he hears someone say 'happy april fool's, idiot' and it's 'OH SHIT'.

of course the day steve finally decided to confess his love for danny he assumed steve was playing a prank on him. steve was lucky not to experience danny's mean right hook again.

his new mission is to find danny and convince him he wasn't kidding. a mcgarrett always completes his missions.

But fine. Most of them are stupid enough they’ll end up dead sooner or later. Damian just has to play the long game. Establish himself as the only constant.

But then father’s wayward son, Todd, comes home… and it’s so much worse than Damian expected.

He remembers this man. Remembers him from hushed whispers in the League, from mother’s creased eyebrow, and training halls drenched with blood.

And he’ll take one look at Damian and know. Know that he’s a threat to his position.

Selkie Batfam? Selkie Batfam. But make it Liminal. 

See, none of them were exactly born as such. In fact? It’s technically a side effect of Lazarus waters and extreme ecto-contamination. Does this also mean selkie Al Ghuls? Yeah, technically. Though with how part of their mission includes protecting endangered species, they definitely use it to their advantage. 

Now, how did the batfam become so ecto-contaminated? Well how could they not? Lazarus pools in the Caves, corrupted artifacts, quite literally dying, dimension traveling and the many, many timeline shifts that seem to affect them specifically at times? 

Yeah, they’re all now… technically human in the fact that that’s the form they take. I mean, who doesn’t have a bit of eye-shine and fangs in Gotham? They just don’t really take seal form outside the manor because well, er, it’s a little embarrassing. Because their seal forms? 

Might be well, kind of tiny. So their friend might erm, not exactly know how much their respective bat is silently trusting them when they give them their coat to watch over.

damsel 2024 was pretty good, i really liked the setup of the elodie's increasing horror as she gets further into the dragon cave, but really I'm mostly annoyed because the ENTIRE movie i was just yelling at her to tell the dragon it was being lied to, they really spent for fucking ever dragging that out

Omg, how nice, that's actually really cool san!!

Well bico it's actually an abbreviation of Baby, it's cold outside which is yet another fic with a song as a title!! (I'm anything if not predictable) and it's my Christmas fic!! I started that fic at the end of 2022 with the intention to post it in December but couldn't so I (hopefully) going to do it this year!! It's inspired by yet another movie (can sense the pattern here?) called The Holiday, it's really sweet.

If you haven't seen it, it's about two people who change places of residence during Christmas so in this case, Regulus and Remus are the ones to do it because they are trying to escape their reality so they exchange houses, flying thousands of miles to the other side of the world, foolishly thinking they can escape their romantic problems-- *enter James and Sirius stage left* so yeah. I'm just going to say that is chaos, fluff, angst, falling for people they should not be falling for and little Harry makes an entrance as well, it has it all. Here, a lil snippet.

“Can’t we talk about this, like adults?” Barty tries again.

Regulus scoffs. “Like adults you say? Where was that spirit when I found out my boyfriend was cheating on me with my friend, who I still work with, mind, from a fucking gossip magazine?” 

Barty doesn’t even try to look apologetic. “We still can work things out, you know. Maybe we can open the…”

Barty’s words die in his mouth when he sees Regulus picking up the dagger from his night table and twirling lazily in his hand, daring him to keep talking. And well, the thing is, Barty doesn’t know it’s a prop from Regulus’ last shooting and Regulus isn’t keen to tell him.
