I know it's not an exact replica BUT I think I did a pretty decent job at recreating wenclair's (ophelia hall's) spider web window - considering i had no idea what i was doing half the time.

fun fact: it took 1.5hrs to complete ONLY ONE web panel bc i couldn't figure out what colour pattern i wanted to do 🥲 all this while i had the ballad of the witches' road + that's so true (gracie abrams) on loop for 5+hrs straight 😭

New miniseries based on an idea I had in passing. Couldn’t find an established aesthetic it quite fits so until someone tells me it already exists I’m calling it Lightcore. Using shadows and reflections I put together some images defined by glimpses of a life lived. Avoiding direct shots of the subjects, showing shadows and reflections of things that are out of view of the lens. Aiming for a little nostalgia, a little coldness of distance, a little gap where sat what is absent. Lightcore because light causes the shadows and reflections I’m using to make the art. Probably fits as a subgenre of dreamcore or something

Anyways! I had this idea in my head for a bit and finally pulled the trigger to draw it! I ended up really proud with how this turned out (I love messing with adding different hues in the face <3)
