In an unreleased scene that has just been revealed, Marinette and Alya are in Marinette's room, in their pajamas, talking about Monarch.

Marinette is visibly concerned about what has happened to him.

Alya: So... The previous carrier was known as Hawk Moth, then Shadow Moth, and finally Monarch. We know that he was defeated and that his Miraculous has a new owner. And what we know about this new owner is....

Alya points to the column on the right. It is empty.

Marinette clutches her head with both hands, completely devastated.

Marinette: NOTHING! We don't know anything! It's even worse than before!!!

Alya joins Marinette on the edge of the bed.

Alya: It's not that bad. We didn't know anything about Monarch either, and yet he was defeated.

Marinette looks at her friend, devastated.

Marinette: That's not true. We knew several things about Monarch. They're not listed on the chart.
