What are some of Mira's and Milo's healthy and unhealthy habits?
ooooo thank u for the question! i'll give three for each piece but there may be more parts that aren't as obvious
Mira
Healthy:
Art in general! They have a bunch of different things they can be working on at one time and it helps distract when they keep obsessing over things.
They get outside a lot to explore. Are they good with directions? Debatable but not important in this context!
They know better than anyone that self-isolating does not help, so they more than likely to be hanging out with someone when they have low moods/intense stressors so they don't engage in their unhealthy habits.
Unhealthy:
Emotional regulation comes in changing up their appearance. New hair style, hair color(s), later on piercings and tattoos.
Skin picking. They will do it until they bleed and leave scabs, and since they heal faster, it means they can be on a repeated cycle until they find something else to fiddle with.
Biting also helps self-regulate. They have an accessory they sometimes wear when they're more stressed to assist them, otherwise they will bite their fingers to the point of breaking skin.
Milo
Healthy:
He tends to focus on self-care. A lot. He focuses on making sure his hair is nice and pretty, his skin is soft, and that he's in his relaxed zone with a good book (it's Bram Stoker's Dracula usually, but he will occasionally read his terrible condition Interview with the Vampire).
An open book on how he feels, he will not hesitate to tell you he likes or doesn't like something. He's also not afraid to communicate such at any given opportunity. The only time he's ever vague or passive aggressive is if he's communicated this want/need several times and has felt unheard.
Because he cares about his physical form, he workouts frequently. Not that it's easy to see under his attire (and that is on purpose), but he's got a good muscle build that he makes sure to maintain and does not skip leg day.
Unhealthy:
He will ghost people... For weeks. Months if the situation is that bad. Self-isolation and him are besties at this point.
Because he's open with his emotions, he will be nasty and mean to someone he doesn't like, willing to burn bridges before a connection can be made. He doesn't care if that comes to bite him later, he reasons it'll save him from suffering if he's upfront about it.
Don't put money in front of his face, he will spend it all within an afternoon. Worst idea one could have.

Dancing with the Stars Season 32 Week 1: That Was Interesting
So because this is so late getting up and I wasn't exactly blown away by the vast majority of the couples, I'm going to do this review a little differently. I am going to separate the folks into 3 or 4 categories of my feelings. I'll decide by the time I finish typing this up. Now first of all, the show NEVER needs to be two and a half hours ever again. That was ridiculous. I'm not sure what the reason was as it was just 14 couples and we've been able to do it in 2 hours before. But that was too long on Tuesday. Julianne was nice as a host. Kinda boring. She'll grow into the role though. It takes everyone time to figure out how to host. I like that they renamed and redesigned the MBT in honor of Len. That was really touching, especially when I saw the little bowtie on the bottom of the trophy. Also, I want to remind you all that I will be allowing Jamie Lynn and Adrian (and Mauricio cuz I got a bone to pick with him) to just exist on this show and not get into their controversies unless it comes up on the show. Doesn't excuse it. Doesn't make it any better. But they're on the show. There's nothing we can truly do but just not vote or decide not to watch. I especially say this because they might be good and stick around for a while. So ignoring two people that might be major players doesn't make sense to me.
Okay, now let me address the elephant in the room. Matt and Koko's departure. It was bs. There was no reason for Matt to be tied for the lowest score of the night when it was a middle of the road performance. He should've gotten a 16. Also let's talk about the scoring. Alyson is a very nice lady and she's trying. That dance should've gotten a 10. Harry seems to be nice and I do like him. He should've gotten a 9. Neither Tyson nor Matt should've tied for the bottom of the leaderboard. Do I think Matt's elimination was orchestrated? I do. And I think it's because he would bring bad press to the show for deciding to move forward with the premiere while being a WGA show, as the strikes were still happening. You gotta remember folks, they didn't reach a deal until this past Sunday. They should not have been planning for this premiere for this week. Because Matt was the only one that stepped away briefly, he would obviously be asked about it in every single interview outside of the show for however long he was on the season. That is a BAD look for DWTS. So I think that the entire night (low scores, dance order, etc) was orchestrated (allegedly) to get him out of there and shut him up. Cuz outside of the exit interviews this week, who is gonna interview Matt Walsh? That would be the show's thought, not mine. Now, who is to say he won't end up on more shows to be interviewed beyond this week. I'm not sure if they fully thought that through, but we shall see. I didn't see what Matt said in his elimination speech (I will watch that piece pretty soon here), but I heard what he said and that makes me think that's truly what was happening. The man is smart. He's been in the industry for a long time. He knows how these things work. But if you don't stand for something, you'll fall for anything. He has to know that people are very proud of him standing for what was right and not just going along to get along. I don't know much about him but I've gained a lot of respect for him as a result. I also, am not a fall for anything type of person. It comes with consequences, but hey, somebody has to say something. The show is trash for that though. And they oughta be ashamed of themselves. They won't be though, cuz I've learned that even though Conrad is probably the best person to have back as EP, he's still the lesser of the evils of all the EPs (in practice, not just name) we've had over the course of this show. The man is still slimy though. Don't think shit is sweet cuz you're not Andrew.
Potential Frontrunners (The Good)
So we have a group of celebs that I can see potentially being great. There's like 6 of them that have frontrunner and dark horse potential.
Charity was probably the best of the night and not just because her score said so. She moves across the floor with ease and is very confident. I also think Artem created a great routine. She is someone that I think will do well in any dance style.
Ariana was great. I think she's the only one that rivals Charity right now. My biggest issue with them was 1) the choreo was kinda weird in my opinion and 2) the Bravo audience is kinda fickle. If the Vanderpump Rules fans are more like RHOA and less like RHOBH and RHONJ, then I think Ariana can go far. She's def the best Bravolebrity that has been here. But with a pro with an untested fanbase and a dubious fanbase coming in, she might suffer a "shocking" (but not so shocking) elimination. Glad to see her thriving after kicking Sandoval to the curb.
Jason was shocking to me. I was not expecting him to be as competent of a dancer as he was. I was expecting Andy Grammer. You know, awkward, lacking musicality and struggling. But instead, we got a trip back to early DWTS when the boy banders used to get out there every season, and turn it out, week to week. I'm excited to see him with Daniella. I think we're gonna be in for a treat.
Lele wasn't a huge shock to me as she kinda has been giving me "look out for me" vibes in all her preseason stuff that I've seen. But I will say that like Jason and Barry, she has something that is unique to her and will work well in this competition. She is a super strong and dynamic performer. It's almost reminiscent of Sabrina Bryan. But it's so different from how Brandon moves. I think they complement each other really well, cuz it doesn't look like a struggle. It's like two sides of the same coin dancing together. I think she can really go far though. Just point those toes. Cuz what an eyesore those were. And make sure you reign some of that power in.
Barry was a complete joy and actually my biggest shock of the night. Most of the older men are not that good on this show. But, Barry was extremely light on his feet, fun and didn't just rely on charisma to take him far. The man can actually dance. He's got some technical things to work on, but I think he can go far and might have a shot at winning if his Latin is any good. Oh and Deena, this is why you put campaigners on the show.
Not Too Sure But You Were Fun to Watch (The Meh)
Xochitl was good. She's got a lot of potential. But she's got balance issues and needs to work on that. I'm not too sure about her fanbase coming in though and how she'll come off to the general audience. She's nice and great. But we had someone that was similar to her be an early elimination (Willow Shields as a young movie star in a blockbuster movie series). I see her being compared to Zendaya and Laurie and I just don't those are the most like her situation. Willow is much more similar.
Adrian was cool outside of his face. I think he has a lot of potential. He's gotta work on refining things and being lighter on his feet. Right now, he's stomping through the dances and that's not cute. Not sure how the audience will vote for him though.
Mira has got everything she needs to be amazing. Long limbs. She places them well for the most part. She stayed on time. There's a sense of rhythm there. She's got it all. Her biggest downfall is her pro lol. I'm sorry but it just is what it is. Gleb has had so many diamonds in the rough and didn't care because he had to work to turn them into the diamond that they could be.
Jamie Lynn was kinda where I thought she would be. She's definitely scared out of her mind and out of her element. But I think she's not giving herself enough credit. There is a lot there with her. Alan has to work on her nerves and on her just being able to accept herself as she is. This is going to be a different type of journey for her (think Kelly Osbourne, Kirstie Alley, Candace Cameron Bure and Bristol Palin) and I don't know if Alan has the chops to handle it with the care that it needs.
Mauricio was a lot better than I thought he would be. He was also a lot more fun that I was expecting. I'm not the biggest RHOBH fan, but of the seasons I have watched, he is not the liveliest person. So it was nice to see this side from him in this jive. The dance was competent. He has potential. I just don't see him going any further than week 4 (and that's being nice). Everything I said about Ariana's fanbase? That's doubly true for Mauricio. The one thing that would save him is Emma's fans.
Tyson was actually not that bad. I think Jenna needs to figure out a way to break the model habit that he falls into. He makes beautiful pictures with some of his poses. All the in-between is kinda ugly though. But there is potential. The moonwalk, his hips and that split at the end showed me that he can be good. It's just gonna take work. I'm not sure if Jenna is up to the task though. I think back to Karamo and how much she kinda stank that up. So hopefully she's learned from the mistakes of the past.
What Was That? (The Ugly)
Alyson, girl, I'm sorry but that was not good. And Sasha's choreo kinda sucked. I don't typically say choreo sucks, but that did. It was very juvenile and there was an arm move at the end that I wasn't sure if it was a mistake or if it was choreographed that way? I was confused. I hope that she does better next week with those first week jitters out her system. How much better, I'm not sure. But I just want her to understand rhythm.
Harry seems like a cool guy. I liked the little friendship he's got going with Tyson. It's cute to see them connect with their bad scores and then just have a good ol time. And it was nice seeing Rylee out on the big kid stage. That being said, he's bad. She did the best she could with him and he did the best he could. But it wasn't good. That being said, he's not a no hoper. When the shirt got undone, he loosened up a lot and the dance did get better. So whatever that feeling was, Rylee needs him to sustain it through the entire performance. And maybe, he might really play spoiler for quite a few folks (cuz the personality is definitely there).
So that's it. We're back y'all. Hopefully this season goes better than this first week went. Let me know what you all thought of the premiere and I will catch y'all next week (or in my inbox this week, answering questions and things).

Ok, no one asked, but here are my thoughts / impressions of the DWTS 32 cast, and I’m going to be honest, I had to google more people on this cast than any other season before so 😬:
Excited for:
Ariana Madix: I am obsessed with all things Bravo and the #Scandoval was literally my entire life for about for 4 months. She has dance and performing experience, and I think she’s going to be really good. Plus, having Pasha as a pro, the choreography he is going to give her 😍 (not to be morbid, but this is actually the couple I’m most sad that Len won’t get to see 😢)
Alyson Hannigan: I was a Buffy fan and loved HIMYM (until that god awful finale 🤮) so I am so happy (but very surprised tbh) to see her on the cast. Idk how much of a natural mover she’ll be, but I think she’s going to have a really great attitude and just enjoy the experience. I am expecting typical Sasha so…yeah 🤷🏻‍♀️
Jason Mraz: I’m mostly excited for him because he’s with Daniella tbh 😂 she always does such great work with her partners and is able to pull the very best out of them. I can see him being a good performer and them being a very strong team. Also, yay to new mommy, Daniella! 💗
Mira Sorvino: Romy! I know she has had a rough time (fuck you H*rvey W*instein🖕🏻) and I hope this journey brings her happiness and joy and she sees how much support she has and why, oh why did they have to partner her with Gleb 😩
Intrigued by:
Tyson Beckford: Wow. He is 😍 isn’t he? And apparently his only dance experience is a guest performance with Chippendales (shocking 😂) which will be interesting because we all know how Jenna is as a teacher 😬. I predict a lot of shirts being taken off 🙄 (but also 😏) And again, yay to new mommy, Jenna! 💗
Matt Walsh: Seen him guest star on almost every sitcom ever 😂 and I see his trajectory going one of two ways: he’s terrible and voted out early, or he’s the lovable guy the GP falls in love with because of his dedication and journey. He’s either low hanging fruit or a dark horse and with Koko as his partner, I would lean towards dark horse.
Mauricio Umansky: So…(separated?) husbands of Real Housewives are stars now? Whatever 🙄 and honestly out of all the House Husbands, I am unbelievably grateful this is the one they chose. (istg if it was any of those misogynistic animals from RHONJ, I would not have watched this season) but anyway, I think he’ll work hard but not take it too seriously (not in a bad way) and he’ll have fun with it. Plus, it will be a cold day in hell before I don’t support Emma Slater. And aren’t they both single? 😏 I want an entanglement in the ballroom! 😂
Barry Williams: I’m only intrigued because we’ll probably get some sweet Florence Henderson mentions / memories because of him 😢. And Peta is definitely the designated first out partner atp. But it probably works for her so 🤷🏻‍♀️ and yay to mommy x2 Peta! 💗
Have heard of them, but don’t know them:
Charity Lawson: I know she was the Bachelorette but other than that, I got nothing. 🤷🏻‍♀️ But I always root for Artem, and he’s pretty consistent with his partners and choreography. That combined with Bachelor Nation, very possible they make the Finals unless she is absolutely, undeniably terrible (which I doubt) or if shenanigans happen
Xochitl Gomez: I’ve heard her name before, but I always thought she was a singer 🥴 my bad 😂 I haven’t watched anything Marvel related in almost two years, so 🤷🏻‍♀️ she’ll probably go far especially because of the Disney / ABC connection as well as Val being the most production assisted pro in DWTS history (sorry, but y’all know how I feel about Val 🤮 😂) but I do think she’s going to be fun to watch and actually be a good dancer, I just don’t have faith her partner will give her good choreography. We’ll see how (or if) that effects things (probably not)
Had absolutely no idea who they were:
Lele Pons: Influencer? I guess? She seems nice and I love how excited she is to be on the show. I think she’s going to be a lot of fun and maybe this can be a breakthrough season for Brandon🤞🏻
Harry Jowsey: Reality Star? Dating show? Youtuber? I have no idea tbh. And, not to go all Karen Smith, but if he’s British, why isn’t he on Strictly? 🤨 But very much looking forward to Rylee as a pro. I always enjoyed Lindsay as a teacher / choreographer, so let’s see if it runs in the family 😂
Adrian Peterson: I WISH I STILL DIDN’T KNOW WHO HE WAS. WTF 🤬 Poor Britt. To go from Daniel to this? The ultimate downgrade 😔
Don’t give one single fuck about:
Jamie Lynn Spears: I have made my feelings on this vile creature known 🤮 Apologies and best of luck to Alan (not really tho because I want her foul ass eliminated asap)

Dancing with the Stars Review
I am a Bonafide fan of “Dancing with the Stars” that said, I missed the very first episode of the season. Caught it on Hulu the other day. I guess things change LOL. This season has a lot of stars I am not familiar with. This is season they have Tyson Beckford a male supermodel that was in the Chippendales. Actor Barry Williams of “Brady Bunch” fame. Xochitl Gomez from “Dr. Strangelove” movie,…

I WILL SERVE YOU 'TIL THE END OF DAYS a post-hell bent darlingstern fic by lilypottersghost on ao3 rating: e | wc: 12k | ship: alex/darlington
summary: in the aftermath of darlington's return from hell, both he and alex are plagued by fear and guilt as they attempt to salvage the remains of their friendship.
read on ao3
preview:
Weeks slipped by as New Haven got colder. The temperate autumn grew darker and meaner, and Alex felt like they were teetering on the edge of a cruel winter. Wind tunnels howled between buildings, morning frost crunched under boots, and the last of the leaves dropped like blood from their branches.
Alex, Dawes, Darlington, Tripp, and Mercy tended to travel campus in pairs, weathering the storm of demons that had been set upon them. The blood-dimmed tide is loosed, had become Alex’s latest favorite death words, muttered under her breath several times a day. And everywhere, the ceremony of innocence is drowned.
The six of them kept protections on hand. Turner too, though he only came to campus if someone asked him for a ride Alex preferred sticking with Darlington; it was easiest for them to face the demons together. If anyone were ever in a real bind, they called Alex and Darlington, since they were the strongest.
“You’re like, a demon-fighting duo!” Tripp said one day after the two of them had fought off a demon that came after Mercy.
But after the first week, most demons grew wary of them. Now they only attacked when they were at their strongest, when they had the most negative emotions on which to feed.
“Maybe you should start meditations,” Mercy suggested one morning as they were getting ready for class. “Daily affirmations to keep your spirits up, that sort of thing.”
Images of Mira with her yoga classes, crystals, and incense flashed in Alex’s mind. She wanted to shake her head, but she was grateful that Mercy was even still speaking to her. “That sounds like a good idea,” she said, smiling at her roommate.
Lethe business continued on. Alex split her time between JE and Il Bastone, mostly so she could spend time researching solutions with Dawes and Darlington. Every Thursday, she and Darlington observed a ritual and placated Walsh-Whiteley with detailed reports. He hadn’t pushed either of them about the details of Darlington’s reappearance. Alex was sure that he didn’t want to know the truth; he’d much rather have Darlington—demon or not—here to oversee Lethe business than leave the job to two women.
Darlington did his best to talk her up during their meetings, letting her answer most of the questions the Praetor asked them so that she would come across as the better prepared one, but Alex knew it was a lost cause.
Darlington had taken up a permanent residence at Il Bastone, going to Black Elm a few times a week for upkeep and to check in on Cosmo. Alex secretly hoped that this would be the end of it, that he would finally put that house and all the terrible memories it held within its walls to bed. But it was only wishful thinking on her part.

So, catch my guesses on the third book about Alex Stern. Like last time, here are more of my wishes and dreams than real observations.
Attention! Spoilers!
We'll finally find out who Alex's father is (some kind of supreme demon, huh?)
When I read the first book, I thought that Alex inherited her abilities from her father (it fits in with the cliché of an absent parent who left because he wasn't human). Now I understand that I did not pay attention to Alex's grandmother, but I still have a feeling that we are waiting for some kind of twist with Alex's father.
Darlington will teach Alex fencing and wrestling, and Alex will teach him dirty tricks from the street
"To defeat a demon, you need… Stern, what are you doing???"
"Look what a LA stripper taught me!"
BAM!
Alex will (or try to) make Lethe to pay for repairs to the Black Elm. When Darlington finds out about this, he will be angry, but grateful for her concern.
Darlington'll meet Mira Stern (Alex planned to visit her in LA, right?)
Love triangle Darlington/Alex/North
Remember, both guys were in Alex's head. Intimacy goes wild.
At the meeting with the fans, Leigh said that North would play a big role in the third book, and I already came up with at least ten options for how Alex would try to get through to North, who did not want to communicate with her. Or, even better, he himself will suddenly come to her.
After the ritual, Alex went to the shower, and then North appears to her.
Alex: FUUUUUCK
Darlington, instantly appearing near the door to Dante's bathroom: Alex? What happend?
Alex from behind the door: Damn it, North, I'll kill you!!!! And I don't care you're a ghost!!!!
Darlington: ???
Dawes, passing by: It's okay, don't mind.
Looking at the chemistry between Alex and Darlington, professor Walsh-Wnitteley will introduce a rule about the prohibition of sexual relations between Virgil and Dante, although they will convince him that there is nothing between them.
Professor: I do not know why this rule wasn't introduced, but now I'm correcting this mistake. No sexual relationship between Dante and Virgil anymore!
Darlington and Alex: but… there are no sexual relationship between us. And never will be (briefly look at each other).
Professor: Children, I wasn't born yesterday. I see everything.
Mercy: Nah, they are sayng the truth, there's nothing between them. But Dawes and I are actively working on it.
Darlington'll finally see his bank account, drastically reduced by Alex, who used it heavily last summer
Darlington-demon will go wild and will try to serve Alex (you know what I mean)...
...but it will be Alex who make firth step and kiss him
Mercy & Dawes
Apparently they already have some sort of parental custody of Alex, so…
Darlington and Alex will finally go to Lighthouse Point
Black Elm will be destroyed (considering that with each book there is more and more destruction in it). But at the end of the book, Alex and Darlington will build something new place for them. It will be the symbol of the end and the beginning

Glenn Thompkins received the Glenn Davis Award for high school football excellence
Tumblr media
Glenn Thompkins, the star quarterback of Rialto Eisenhower High, made headlines once again as he was honored with the prestigious Glenn Davis Award for his outstanding performance in Southern California's high school football scene. Just two days after leading his team to victory in the Southern Section Division I championship, Thompkins received this coveted award during a ceremony held in Riverside.
Named after the esteemed Heisman Trophy winner who attended Army and Bonita High in La Verne, the Glenn Davis Award is presented annually by The Times. It serves as a testament to the remarkable talent and dedication demonstrated by high school football players in the region.
At the age of 17, Thompkins, a three-year starter for the Eagles, showcased his versatility and prowess on the field throughout the season. With an impressive 14-0 record under his leadership, the team secured their championship title by defeating Santa Ana Mater Dei with a resounding score of 56-3 at Anaheim Stadium. In this decisive game, Thompkins exhibited his multifaceted skill set by throwing for 174 yards and three touchdowns, along with rushing for 71 yards and an additional touchdown. Not content with just offensive contributions, he also made significant defensive plays, breaking up several passes and returning two punts.
Tom Hoak, Eisenhower’s coach, attributed the team's undefeated season to Thompkins, emphasizing his versatility and ability to excel in any position on the field. Standing at 5 feet 9 inches and weighing 163 pounds, Thompkins amassed impressive statistics throughout the season, passing for 1,214 yards and rushing for 717. Additionally, he showcased his defensive prowess by starting in various positions, including inside linebacker and end.
Thompkins' remarkable performance on the field has garnered attention from numerous colleges and universities, with notable institutions such as Notre Dame, Oklahoma, and Kansas vying for his talents. However, it is widely anticipated that Thompkins will sign with UCLA, where he is expected to continue his football career at the collegiate level.

His achievements serve as an inspiration to aspiring athletes and a testament to the enduring spirit of the sport.

oc question: how did arthur come to encounter the “world of ghouls”?
Hello 👋 That is a great question! Arthur's life has always been involved with ghouls. When Arthur was 12 his mother, Emma Finch, was killed by a ghoul. (He wasn't there to see it happen however, his step father did. ) His step father, Benjamin Williams is a part of the American version of the CCG. (sorry I'm still working out names for this for my fic. so please be patient with me. 😅) And his best friend Mira Walsh and their twin Milo Walsh are both natural born half ghouls. (However Arthur has NO idea that his best friend is a half ghoul.) Mira Walsh and Milo Walsh are both my partner's TG ocs. We're both working on this fanfic together. ❤️Thank you so so much for this ask! You seriously made my day!❤️
