i just saw your teen tails and sonic hug (ow) so do they just not get along anymore? i backread on some ofyour earlier posts describing the au, is there hope for the unbreakable bond in the future? I get that there's a lot of tension adter the benching situation but does it get better eventually? i think sonic and tails need to have a conversation that i dont think theyll have but maybe they have it later on, i dont know, just sptitballing lmao
my point is is there hope for the picket fence i might cry
(the au is so good and very sad I really love all the detail put into it and the take it has at tails attempt at independency.) id like to think theres light at the end of a very long and dark tunnel but that its there regardless because ultimately the brothers will inevitably always love each other even if they don't see eye to eye sometimes. but yeah if you don't mind me asking/picking your brain a bit, but totally understand if you do, i mean no harm, just curious.
fret not, the brothers really aren’t in that bad of a spot lmao. things are just different than how they were when they were younger. they’re still very close
there is a little tension from the benching situation, but that whole thing was cleared up pretty quickly once sonic apologized and explained that it was a very spur of the moment decision drive by nothing by fear. the only remnant of that ordeal is tails pushing himself to prove that even with his newly acquired physical disabilities, he’s still just as reliable as he was before. even as a grumpy teenager, tails couldn’t bring himself to stay mad at his big bro ahdhdhhdsjjs
other than that, tails is just going through his teen years. he doesn’t like hugs because he thinks he’s too old for things like that. he wants to be independent. he’s snarky and just kinda upset most of the time. he’s also dealing with the whole “has been saving the world since he was literally 4 yrs old” thing so that’s starting to catch up to him. he doesn’t regret anything about the life he’s lived thus far, it’s just…a lot
but yeah, the brothers are fine. it’s just some teen angst lmao
