Last I remember about friends Ryan is he went to war

Which will be very traumatizing for a child

What if he just fucking died.

Maybe Tina couldn't protect him (last I remember she was like a Guardian angel to ryan) or something, but he died

How dya think the friends group would react? :D

Tina would probably know about it first, drowning herself in her work for a few days as she processed {she got hired as basically an inter-dimensional watcher.}

then the others would either hear via note, or Tina finally coming to tell them. so Goldy and Unicorn would hear first, then Kara would probably be making sure the two of them are okay, and Pink would basically be doing runs for them.

Goldy's reaction would be slow, processing it all, til she was just hiding away devastated. she'd probably also be pretending everything was fine while in big company.

Unicorn would probably spend a lot of time going "no, ryan can't die." and just shutting it down every time it's mentioned. once he's finally "accepted" it, he'd hole away in his lab for another while, trying to figure out how he can bring ryan back.

as a side note- ryan is what- a general? a sergeant? 76% chance he's feared within the army, and despite Rocket Catching Rodney over there trying to pretend he's in charge, Ryan is clearly an important figure.
