16.12.2023 // day 2/100 of productivity - I completely forgot about doing this 100 day challenge (oops) so I'm starting it again now since my exams are coming up in just a few months! I spent the day working through some of the harder topics and drew out some diagrams to help me understand them.

Today I managed to finish the first draft of my history paper. I was not expecting to finish so soon, but I am very happy about it. Tomorrow I will do some heavier editing to make sure it's okay and then I think I'll just reread it a few times before sending it to the professor. I am very grateful to my friend for taking a bit of time in her day to read it and pointing out what I can improve. Since I did all this work in the morning I took the afternoon off and spent about 3 hours in my veggie garden. I am thinking of making a post with some notes and thoughts from my first experience at keeping a vegetable garden by myself. I cleaned out most of the weeds, got rid of the behated snails that have been thriving thanks to the constant rain of this season, and I harvested some herbs I want to dry to make herbal teas. It was a lot of work, and mosquitos really had a feast on my, but I am really happy about how the day went. Gardening is one of those activities that just makes my brain shut up, so it felt quite peaceful. I cannot wait for exam season to actually be over so that I can spend more time working there (if the weather lets me of course, since in the past months there has been so much rain).

🍂 23-9-2024 productive but exhausting day

Finally changed my subjects

Survived two hours of maths having lost the first four lessons

Survived two hours of philosophy and made a doodle of Athens (pic 1)

Watched part of a football match

Found a butterfly (pic 2)

Tried to run for the first time through the promenade

Took a shower

Wrote some maths notes (pic 3) and did an exercise

Made pasta for dinner

Watched tv with my father

Read a lot today, around 160 pages

Starting to fall into a bit of a rhythm now, which is really great. I'm so proud of myself! Getting up at 8 in the morning no matter what has been so great for me. Even if I was up all night and I am shattered, it's one of my new non-negotiable morning habits. I make myself a cup of tea and even if I go back to bed, at least I gave myself the chance to start the day at a reasonable time! 💕

I keep tackling basic, but very anxiety-inducing things in life (like doctor's appointments, ugh) and with each one, I prove myself I am capable. Been really good this week especially at not getting discouraged by setbacks (like not going to lectures, rotting in bed all day or staying up until 6am). I really need to get on my sleep-schedule next, but I am trying not to overwhelm myself, so we're being gentle about it.

I need to get in my sleep until I can anyway, because assignment deadlines for this semester are coming up, and I am also going back to work in less than a month. Goodbye off-season, you were good while you lasted 💔 I do miss flying though (and getting paid asdffghh) even if I've been super anxious about going back to work. New roster is out though and the crew on my first flight back is fab, which is a great relief! ✈️

I'm still not as caught up on uni work as I'd like to be - and I really desperately need to email some people about uncompleted work from the previous semester 😬 - but we are slowly getting there. Yay!

Little treats after completing tasks is the way to go! I forgot how much I love the rocky road slices they have at all the different cafés around uni 🍫 Plus, been reading Abigail Roux & Madeleine Urban's Cut and Run series again for the hundredth time, and it's making me very nostalgic. I first read the books when I was 16, and today, reading a rather steamy scene in the uni library, brought back a very vivid memory of me reading probably the exact same scene on a school library computer while I should have been working on history coursework. 😅 That was 10 years ago! Insane. Anyway, I always always come back to these books. The rubbish ebook formatting can be very frustrating, and the storytelling is somewhat chaotic occasionally, especially in the first book, but, god, I adore Ty and Zane so much. Bisexual FBI agents enemies-to-soulmates wholesomeness is exactly what I need in my life right now. 🩷💜💙

Good morning, yall! 🌱🧠✨️

I am proud of myself for not feeling overwhelmed today(?) ⬇️

I've had a pretty productive morning already (it is only 9:40am yet). I've been working on my thesis, and plan on doing that for the rest of the day too, although i have to clean the apartment because someone is coming to see it to come live here when i leave (it is a horrible apartment, btw, I'm going to be sincere to this person because no-one should come live here for this price and not knowing how it really is to live in here).

I have to do another project that they've sent us (pretty annoying knowing it is just 2 weeks left of the semester) and another one of a course i signed up to that i already told you about.

I plan on handing in my thesis on monday for my tutor to correct it so i can change whatever is wrong with enough time, and while he corrects it, i will do the other two projects.

I also have an exam on Monday, so I'll study for it this weekend too, hand in hand with my thesis.

Also other 2 exams on the 3rd, so ill study them while i do the other two projects.

Quite a lot to do, knowing that i have to keep looking for an apartment at the same time.

I also start my finals on 14th, so I'll try to start studying for that on the week of the 3rd, and I'll make time on my breaks to organise aaaaaaaaaaall my thingies for us to move out on June 28th.

Us meaning my boyfriend and i, so happy about that!!! (2 years living together already!!) Also feeling encountered emotions because of that, because i feel bad for him to keep moving with me for me to study, and also relieved that he is able to do it and that me needing to move to other cities to study is not a problem in our relationship
