ghost comes home
the 141 needs a place to sleep for the night and your house happens to be here. (simon introduces his secret wife to the task force, and it gets steamy after)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
ghost trudged up the hill, already regretting his decision. the 141 needed a place to lay low for the night, and of course they happened to be a mile from your remote summer home. he had a feeling you’d be there too, and here he was bringing four killing machines to your door in the middle of your summer vacation.
they had stopped before the door, and soap was itching with curiosity. it was a cozy lake house, two stories tall and perfect for a small family. there was a car in the driveway and the front porch lights were on, but he didn’t have any clue as to what, or who, awaited them inside. even though ghost had his mask on, soap could still sense how reluctant he looked. “don’t ask questions. come here.” ghost led them around the house to a small shed, wood on the outside but surprisingly modern on the inside. he opened up a military standard weapons storage unit and pointed at it. “every single gun, knife, grenade, weapon. in here.” price had started removing his weaponry but gaz and soap did a double take. “l.t. you’re saying go completely weaponless? what if-“ “if you can’t defend yourself with your bare hands that’s your problem, not mine. if you want to sleep outside, go ahead.” ghost said definitively. gaz and soap complied, and soon the group looked a lot closer to four guys on a camping trip than a ruthless task force. they went to the front of the house again, and ghost pulled out a key. “don’t make noise, don’t touch anything, don’t sit. the lights are going to be off. shoes off at the door.” the anxiety was getting to soap, he had no clue where they were but with how protective ghost seemed, he had a feeling he was going to know a lot more about his l.t. soon.
ghost opened the door, instantly greeted with the after smell of those lavender candles you always lit. it was dark except for the lowlights he had installed last june so that you could see when you came downstairs at midnight for a snack. he saw your books on the breakfast table and your slippers in the living room, the comforting feeling of home covering him like a warm blanket. he took his shoes off and walked quietly to the stairs, knowing every squeak and how to avoid them. a door upstairs opened and he swore underneath his breath, not wanting to wake you until the morning, but of course you’d seen his location and wanted to say hello.
it was midnight, and you had just finished a particularly smutty chapter in your romance book when you got the notification that the door had been opened. you checked simon’s location and of course it was him. you flung of the covers and opened your door, greeted with a silent house except for the sounds of fabric moving. you looked down the stairs and there he was, skull mask shining in the moonlight. you rushed down the stairs and jumped into his arms, reveling in the feeling of home. “hi si.” you said breathlessly, legs tightening around his waist. “hi, dove. did i wake you?” you pulled up his mask for a long kiss, heart beating finally finally. “no, i was reading.” “aye, one of those dirty romance books, hm?” you giggled as he knew you so well. “maybe so. you’ll just have to come upstairs and…” you trailed off, having looked over his shoulder into the living room where three giant men stood awkwardly. you climbed out of his arms (simon huffed), intrigued by the situation at hand. “you brought company?” you turned on the lights to reveal the three strangers.
soap blinked and couldn’t believe his eyes. there was his l.t., a 6’4 killer on the battlefield, with his mask half up his chin, hand around your waist, and love in his eyes. and of course, there was you. you didn’t seem nervous to have three intimidating men in your living room, if anything you looked excited. you seemed molded to ghost, your movement reflecting each other for maximum physical contact at all times. quickly, you pulled down ghost’s mask so the team didn’t have the chance to glimpse his face. you moved forward with a small smile, head cocking as you analyzed the men in front of you. “dove, this is-“ “the 141. i’ve heard a lot about you. didn’t expect to meet you all in my pajamas.”
“you’re much better looking than us anyways.” soap replied, diffusing the tension. he didn’t miss how ghost’s hand tightened on your waist and his eyes narrowed. this was going to be fun.
“well it’s lovely to meet you all, though i’m not sure why it’s right now. i’m -“ “mrs. riley.” ghost cut in. “you will address her as such.” you smacked his chest playfully as he looked down at you, eyes switching from cold protectiveness to endearment. “nonsense. you can call me by my name.” you said, extending your hand to price. “you must be captain price. and you’re wearing your hat!” the greetings continued in a similar fashion as you remarked upon everyone’s unique physical indicators, known from simon’s constant stories about the group. after realizing the military was in fact in your living room, a slight tension curled up your spine. simon noticed immediately, of course, and turned you both around, giving you a sense of relief. “guns in the house?” you whispered, pulling your bottom lip between your teeth. that was the one requirement you had. “never, love. they’re in the shed.” you relaxed instantly. “okay, they can stay. are you staying?” your thumb laid over his hand, tracing the veins you had memorized thousands of times before. “you’ve got me for one night. transport comes at noon tomorrow. you sure you’re okay with this? we can camp outside. just happened to be near the house and needed a place to sleep.” “of course i’m okay with it, si. i trust you. and now i have you for one night.” you ended with a smirk, knowing your husband would not get a lick of sleep tonight. “we have two guest bedrooms, so you’ll have to share.” you announced, turning back to the group. “i’ll go ready the rooms.” simon whispered into your ear, squeezing your waist once before going upstairs. he didn’t want to leave you alone but he trusted his men, and didn’t want you to work more than you had to. he never did.
“well,” you plopped down in your favorite chair, the men still standing awkwardly. “sit down. we’ve got about five minutes to answer your questions before my husband whisks me away for the night.” soap sat down eagerly, bouncing with energy as he readied all his questions. gaz took in the scene before him, and only had one burning question. “captain, why aren’t you surprised?” price turned to him with a small smile, taking his hat off out of respect. you answered for him. “john and i have talked before, just never in person. there’s a lot of paperwork to do when you want to marry a ghost who’s in a secret task force.” you played with your ring finger unconsciously, and though your ring was off as you had been preparing for sleep, they could all see the tan outline on your fingers. “i’ve known about mrs. riley here for a while, but her existence is the only thing ghost told me.” price added in. he was big on respect, but even he was excited to meet ghost’s secret wife. the one who has extended secret protection whenever he was deployed, the one whose ring he wore next to his dog tags.
“i think you want to rapid fire interrogate.” you said with a smile, turning to soap. “let’s do it”.
“where’d you meet?”
“manchester.”
“how?”
“i spilled my drink on him in a cafe. might have been on purpose to get him to talk to me.”
“you’re the perfect lass for him. how long have you been together?”
“four together, two married.”
they all exhaled a breath at that. for four years, ghost had been carrying a secret. with his past, or as much as he told them, they knew why, but it was still a blow.
“he loves you guys. he wanted to tell you all, we’d been planning it. just not like this. he kind of hoped someone would notice the ring on his dog tags and bring it up, but i had a feeling you all were a bit scared of him.” you could sense the tension and wanted to show simon’s thinking process to them as much as you could without spilling his secrets. with his past, he had been so worried about you being in danger. it was one of your agreements that he’d tell them in his time, and never before.
“what do you do?”
“i’m an author, hence the books.”
there were books everywhere. the shelves, the tables, the floor. in fact, with the lights on, soap now noticed a small ball of fur cuddled with a book under the coffee table.
“did ghost build this place?”
“basically. it was a fixer-upper. he gave it to me for our honeymoon and he’s been working on it ever since. it’s my getaway when i want to write.” soap spotted ghost coming down the stairs, and wanted to make the last question less personal, just in case.
“how do you deal with the bad jokes?” you opened your mouth to reply, but simon’s hand rested on your shoulder and you closed it. “enough. your rooms are ready.” simon said in a gruff voice, wanting to be alone with his wife already. you knew what that tone meant, and you rubbed your thighs together in anticipation. you guided the men to their rooms, gaz and soap splitting one, making sure they had everything they needed. then finally, finally, you went into your room with simon and locked the door.
“hi again.” you said shyly as he gathered you into his arms. “you good? overwhelmed?” he asked, knowing he had intruded on your solitude without warning. “i should be asking you that. are you okay?” you guided him to your bed, sitting him down on the edge. he sighed, and you slowly pulled off his mask, giving him time to stop you. with his face finally revealed, you pulled him in for a deep kiss, moaning at the taste of your husband. “i’ve missed you.” simon finally said, avoiding your last question. “me too.” you kissed his forehead, his hairline, trailing down to his cheeks and chin. reverent. it had been two months, not the longest you’ve gone without him, but still you never got used to the time alone. his hand twitched as he showed the number three with his fingers. a while ago, you had a long conversation about showing your emotions. when either of you were too overwhelmed, you used your hands to show it. one meant needing alone time, two meant panic attack, and three meant being together and moving to a different subject. you gave him a small smile, running your hands through his hair, shorter now that he was deployed. “let me make you feel good.” you whispered, and he nodded, putting his trust in you easily.
you unclipped his gear, slowly, surely. slipping off his vest, guiding his arms. you slid off his gloves one by one. simon loved how you treated him delicately, so different from his life in the military. there were no threats, no enemies to think about, just you and him in this quiet room. he’d soundproofed it last year after the incident with your parents, so there were no worries about disturbing his teammates. with his gear off, you took off his shirt, bringing it over his head and throwing it into the corner. his scars were fully visible, and you kissed each one with pleasure. “let” kiss “me” kiss “make” kiss “you” kiss “feel” kiss “good” kiss. he was slowly coming back to his body, the overwhelmed feeling disappearing with your love and affection. “yeah, love? gonna make me come?” he grinned, pushing the hair out of your face as you lowered yourself to his crotch.
he helped you take off his jeans, leaving him only in his boxers while you were still fully clothed, the contrast making him hard. you breathed over his hardness, a contrast to the cool ac. he gathered your hair in one fist, giving him a full view of you hungrily looking at his cock. “take it out.” he ordered, and you complied, untucking him from his boxers. “i’m glad you introduced me to everyone today. you did so well.” you said, your words warming his heart. he liked praise, sometimes, and you were trying to make this as good as possible, not knowing when you’d see him next. “had to make sure they knew my wife who sucks my cock so well.” he replied. “you gonna actually suck it, or you just gonna kneel there, looking so pretty on your knees?” you chuckled at his words. slowly, you licked him from base to tip, satisfied with the groan he gave you in return. “spit” you said, offering him your hand. he complied, and you brought it down back to his cock, working your hand up and down. you started with kitten licks, feeling him jerk in your hands at every touch. wetness pooled in your pajama shorts, and you shifted, letting the seam of the fabric work at your aching clit. “stop teasing or i-” he stopped with a moan as you put his entire length in your mouth, hollowing your cheeks. you hummed and his cock twitched. you worked your mouth up and down, using your hand when you couldn’t go all the way. seeing him undone was turning you on as you shifted on your knees, letting your shorts work your clit. you swirled your tongue around his tip and went back down, your other hand gripping his balls with a short squeeze.
he bucked into you, and you knew he was close as he started fucking your face. he reached the back of your mouth and tears streamed down your face, but you didn’t make him stop. your hand left his balls and went down to your clit, pushing your palm against it to find the friction you were chasing. “does getting your face fucked turn you on, dove? my little wife?” you whimpered and he moaned, pulling you closer to his cock. “gonna come on your face, open up.” he withdrew, sticky strings of saliva connecting your lips to his cock. you put your hand back on it and stroked, ropes of cum landing on your face and neck. your tongue darted out to taste him and he groaned, laying down fully on the bed. “that was so good, lovie. you did so well, come ‘ere.” you climbed on top of him, thighs messy with your own wetness. “need you inside me, si. need to come.” you stripped off your shirt and shorts, tits bouncing in his face. he took your nipple in his mouth and you groaned, hands pushing against the headboard to keep yourself upright. simon’s hands came to your hips, sitting you down with his half-hard cock against your ass. “give me a second.” he said in a raspy voice. “okay, old man.” you replied cheekily. he slapped your ass and you giggled. laughter turned to moans as his hand slid down, putting two fingers inside you. “look at you, so greedy for my cock. have you been fucking yourself with the toys i got you?” his other hand tweaked your nipple, a bit of pain in a rush of pleasure. “i have, thinking of you. been missing your cock.” his thumb circled your clit just the way you liked it as his other hand went up from your nipple, choking you. “show me.” he withdrew his fingers and you whimpered as he licked them. you shifted backwards, impaling yourself on him. “si, its too much.” you had forgotten how big he was, and you felt so full, stuffed with his cock. “you can take it, wife.” you both sat there for a minute, letting your leaking cunt adjust to his cock. his hands massaged your nipples, getting you wetter and wetter. “wait, i have a surprise for you.” you leaned over to your bedside table, still full of simon, and pulled out a small box. simon sat up a bit and opened it, smirking as he took in the contents. he withdrew the gold clamps, setting the box aside. his hand grasped your left tit as he sucked it slightly, then withdrew. he opened the clamp and closed it around your hard nipple, an electric shock of pain running through your system. “you like wearing jewelry for me, hm? looking pretty, all stuffed with my cock while the boys are sound asleep next door. wonder if they’re thinking about you, wife.” you gasped, images of being shared with simon’s teammates running through your mind. you had had threesomes with simon before, but never with that many participants. while you were distracted, he closed the clamp around your other nipple. he tugged on the chain connecting them, bringing your mind back to him. “they wouldn’t fuck you like this, though. won’t get you dripping after they fuck your face.” his hips started moving upwards now that you were adjusted to his length, hands resting on your hips. with the feeling of the clamps, his dirty talk, and your stimulated clit, you were right on the edge. “si, i’m gonna come. please let me come.” his hand moved from your hip to your clit. “come for me, dove.” you shattered with a moan, glad for the soundproofed walls. your thighs trembled as you sat back down on his cock, and simon could feel you weakening.
he flipped you both over, staying inside you, and started fucking into you with abandon. his hand slipped under your head to protect it from hitting the headboard as he got rougher and rougher. your tits bounced, the clamps holding steady with every thrust. your hands came around his neck, pulling him closer to you. “my husband.” you groaned, never tiring of calling him that. your hands scratched his shoulders, urging him into you more and more. he changed the angle so he grinded against your pubic bone, and you could feel your second orgasm coming. “si, come with me. i want you inside.” he moaned into your shoulder, keeping the pace. “right there, love, im right there.” he panted, needing just a bit more. “fill me up, si. i’ll be making breakfast for the boys and they’ll see your cum running down my thighs. i’m yours.” you both came to that image as he pumped into you, making you leak with his cum. “fuck.” he collasped into you, holding off his weight as to not squish you. cock still inside, he removed the clamps, licking each nipple after. “did you think of me when you bought these?” he said, growling. “i got so horny i had to get off in the public bathroom right after. thinking of you the whole time.” you replied. “gonna make you wear these all the time now so your cunt is always ready for me.” he slipped out and you both sighed.
he left and came back with a warm washcloth, cleaning you both up. you yawned, so tired from the night’s events, glad to have your husband home. simon turned off the lights and tucked you both in, ready to sleep with his love in his arms. “i’m home, dove.” he whispered, kissing your forehead and tangling his feet with yours.
“i’m home.”

— whispering sweet nothings at 3am with f1 boys.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
˒ ⌕ LANDO NORRIS
you open your eyes slowly as you feel the weight shift on the bed. you’re greeted by the sight of tired gentle eyes and his hair against the pillow. he smiles at you, “sorry if i woke you,” you return the smile followed by a shake of your head and a small yawn. you shift closer to his side of the bed. “long day at work?” you ask, your eyes lingering on his. without another word, he wraps his arms around you, softly nuzzling his face in your neck and pressing a small kiss there before resting his chin on your head. “now that i’m here, i feel better,” he sighs, tiredly and contentedly at the same time, “you make everything better,”
˒ ⌕ DANIEL RICCIARDO
he’s anything but his usual energetic self right now. and you don’t mind that. there is something soothing about the gentle look in his eyes as you lock gazes, something soft about the way he’s smiling at you, something delicate about the way he traces his fingers along your jaw. you press the back of his hand with your palm, keeping it against your cheek. “what’s on your mind?” you ask, voice soft. “sometimes i can’t believe you chose to be with me,” he gives you a small grin, “i’m just really grateful, that’s all,”
˒ ⌕ CARLOS SAINZ
“it’s already 3 a.m, we should head to bed,” you say, switching the tv off. he groans, voice laced with sleep and eyes hazy. “i don’t want to get up; let’s just sleep here,” he says quietly, shifting back on the couch to give more space for you. you furrow your eyebrows, trying to sit up but he tightens his hold on you, nuzzling his nose in your hair. “you smell so good.” his sleepy voice makes you laugh a little, “hm, that is not going to help your case.” you can feel the pout on his face before he whispers in your ear, “please, baby, just for tonight,”
˒ ⌕ CHARLES LECLERC
even with his eyes closed, charles can feel yours on him. he doesn’t mind it one bit; he likes the weight of your gaze on him. a smile forms on his face and he jokes, eyes still closed, “watching someone sleep is creepy, you know.” unfazed, you say in a quiet voice, “i’m not watching, i’m admiring.” he chuckles, finally opening his eyes to meet yours, melting under your fond gaze. he grabs your hand and pulls you closer to him, “come on, you little creep, go to sleep.” “your little creep.” he smiles and hums softly in agreement, “yes. mine.”
˒ ⌕ LEWIS HAMILTON
him pulling you closer to him as he gently slides his fingers down your body; leaving soft, lazy kisses on your lips or forehead. he starts talking about his day in a monotonous way, trying to make you sleepy - and he smiles when he realizes that it worked and that you are now sleeping peacefully in his arms.
˒ ⌕ OSCAR PIASTRI
sharing earbuds and listening to your calm music playlist; you with your eyes closed as you try to sleep, and he’s too busy looking at you. admiring every little detail on your face - the curve of your nose, your lips, how the moonlight lightly illuminated your face through the curtains… he didn’t know he could get even more in love until that moment.
˒ ⌕ MAX VERSTAPPEN
he grudgingly lets you drag him to the supermarket; although he prefers to stay warm and cozy under the covers (and he tells you that all the time). he takes a jacket for you before grabbing one for himself - with a pout on his face, you walk to the nearest supermarket, he takes your hand and tucks it into his jacket pocket, covering yours with his own. a silly argument down the road about who’s paying for the snacks. then he insists on wandering around the neighborhood afterwards, taking blurry pictures of you late at night with an adorable smile on his face.

Attaboy - Logan Howlett x ftm!Reader
Tumblr media
A/N: Okay, so I know the Attaboy scene in Origins is supposed to be condescending, but I love that scene more than words can express so here we are. Also, I drew from a/b/o dynamics, which is why I have Reader nest. I hope that’s okay
This is meant to be read as a continuation of Alpha, so please read that first to have this make sense
Based on this request
CW: fluff; mild a/b/o dynamics?; Reader nests; vaguely implied sex; Reader is called pup, boy, and handsome; teasing; little bit of banter; very slightly suggestive content; no use of Y/N
771 words
Tumblr media
The days after the training room incident are quite happy ones for you. Your inner wolf no longer screams at you around Logan, you gained a new boyfriend, and your needs are consistently met by a man who’s almost as feral as you at times.
Now that you no longer have to avoid him, you start to relax around Logan. You’ve never really been domestic with a guy like him before. And after a little while, a few new behaviors start to pop up. Nothing major.
But they bring out the wolf side of you more than ever.
It takes Logan a little while to catch on. Your behavior around him has always been erratic, so he’s never gotten a baseline for how you normally act.
It takes you a little bit of time to realize he doesn’t know. But once you do? Oh, how you treat it like a game.
It starts with wearing his clothes. Draping yourself in his scent. You’re not the only animal-based mutants at the school, and it brings your inner instincts deep joy to know they can smell him on you.
You can see the look in his eyes when you wear his shirts so casually. When you strut around the mansion, letting his scent mingle with yours. You can smell it on him, can see the way he physically reacts.
You’d be lying if you said it didn’t give you an ego boost. Knowing you can affect him so strongly. It’s a power trip, and you love it.
The next thing you do is nesting. You steal his shirts and maybe a blanket or two of his. Nothing too drastic. If anything, he seems amused when he sees the little nest on your bed. The carefully arranged pillows, blankets, and shirts.
He seems to enjoy leaving his scent there just as much as you do. And oh, does that make you happy.
You can tell that he starts to figure it out once he sees the way you interact with the others. You’re chipper, playful, teasing. You toss little jabs, and take them in return. You’re like a puppy, playing around with your friends.
He finally gets it when you jump up to get him his cigars one night. You’re dressed in his shirt and a pair of boxers, all cozy in his bed. But the moment he mentions wanting a smoke, you’re up and fetching them for him.
You hold out the cigar box to him, eyes bright and eager.
Logan chuckles. “You really are a pup, aren’t you?”
Your face warms. You just know if you had a tail that it would be wagging. But you decide to play it cool. “I dunno what you mean.”
Logan chuckles. He takes one of the cigars and gestures to his dresser. “Get my lighter, would ya?”
You’re moving before you even fully process his question; your instincts responding to his gesture.
Logan smirks at you. Clicks his tongue approvingly. “Attaboy.”
Your face really heats up. “Stop that.”
“Stop what, pup?” He takes the lighter from you and lights his cigar. He takes a deep drag from it and exhales the smoke. “Stop calling you what you are?”
You crawl into bed next to him, snuggling into his side. Draping one of your legs over his and resting your head against his shoulder. “And what am I?”
He presses a kiss to your head. “You’re mine. My boy.”
You preen at his words. At the possession in his tone. “Your boy.”
“That’s right.” He smirks again. “My handsome pup.”
You smile at his words. “I’ve been waiting for you to catch on, you know.”
He chuckles. “Oh?”
“Thought about calling you alpha a couple times to maybe speed it along.”
He eyes you, the corners of his mouth tugging up. “Alpha, huh?”
You press a kiss to his shoulder. “My big, strong alpha.”
“Careful now, pup.” He nudges your head with his hand. “Don’t start something you can’t handle.”
“Oh, I can handle you just fine,” you grin. But you don’t make any move to start something. You’re content with cuddling for right now.
Logan chuckles and rests his head against yours. “I don’t doubt you can, pup. I don’t doubt you can.”
The two of you cuddle until Logan’s cigar burns down. Then he turns off the light and nuzzles into you. “Goodnight, pup.”
You smile and press a kiss to the bridge of his nose. “Goodnight, alpha.”
He sighs and you laugh. You can’t help it. After so long avoiding him, you’re finally here with him. And that’s all you could ever want.

THIS IS SOOO CUTE AH
Tumblr media Tumblr media
𝐌𝐎𝐑𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐒𝐔𝐍 ²⁰²⁴
Tumblr media
Beside me, James stirred, the heat from his body seeped through the blankets. Vanilla morning light shone through the curtains. His arm, in its usual place over my waist, felt better than anything.
I liked the way his body had changed over the years, his skin thick, chiseled from time and life lived. Tattoos stretched on his weathered frame, some a little faded, others as bold as ever. I traced my fingers along the lines of ink, feeling strength beneath his skin. His muscles were still solid, yet there came a softness in him now, one that could break its way through age.
His breath was slow, deep, still heavy. His messy white hair jutted out every which way, unruly from having tossed and turned during the night. His mustache was scruffy, rough against my cheek when he leaned in close to kiss me. His lips were warm, the kiss lazy, unhurried.
"Mornin', baby..." he muttered, his voice deep and gravelly like it always was in the morning.
I smiled into his chest, the rasp of his voice so close. "Morning," I whispered back, my fingers still tracing the lines of his tattoos.
His eyes were lidded and droopy, and opened slowly, catching mine. They were still as bold as ever, even if years had taken some of that edge off.
"Sleep okay?" he asked, his lips planting against my forehead as he spoke.
"Better now," I replied, snuggling closer into his big chest. His smell was so familiar. He smelled like leather, the faint scent of wood and something that was just... James.
He chuckled and his chest tremored under my head. "You're always better in the mornin', huh?" His hand rubbed in slow circles on my back, thick fingers so gentle.
I laughed softly and nodded. "Yeah, especially when you're here." I tilted my head up, catching his eyes once more. Light from the window lit his hair, making the silver and remaining blonde gleam.
He leaned in, his lips touching mine again this time softer, if that was even possible. His mouth stayed put, he had all the time in the world. When he pulled back, his forehead hit mine, his eyes fluttering closed.
"Don't wanna get up yet," he mumbled.
"Then don't," I whispered back, my hand dropping to his chest, his heart steadily thudding.
He laughed again. "You say that like I have a choice." His hand tightened around my waist, drawing me even closer in. "But I like this. Just you, me, and a lazy mornin'."
I could feel his heartbeat pump beneath my palm. His body was warm, and although the years were catching up, I couldn't be more in love. His hands were rough, calloused from years of playing guitar and working his ass off. Yet they were always gentle when they touched me.
"I like it too..." I whispered, leaning to press my lips against his chest, just over his heart.
He sighed, the sound content, and rolled onto his back, pulling me with him. I draped myself over him, feeling the rise and fall of his chest as he breathed deeply.
"You're staring," he chuckled, still sounding groggy. His eyes opened, glancing down at me with a smirk.
"Maybe," I admitted, smiling up at him.
"Admiring the view?" he teased, his hand running through his messy hair, managing to make it worse.
"Something like that," I smile, my fingers running over the tattoos on his arm again. I loved every single one of them.
He shifted slightly, his arm tightening around me. "You know, I'm not what I used to be.
I looked up at him, my brow furrowing slightly. "What do you mean?" his voice quieter.
"I'm older now. Slower. Not the same guy I was." I shook my head, my hand on his chest again. "You're still you. You're still strong. And you're mine. That's all that matters."
He stared at me a moment longer before a slow smile spread over his features. "Yeah, guess you're right."
I smiled back, leaning in to kiss him again. When I pulled back, his eyes remained on mine.
"Besides," I said, grinning, "you look pretty damn good for 61."
He chuckled loudly. "I'll take that," he said, his hand moving up and down my bare back. "But you make me feel younger."
I leaned in and kissed him again, his bare skin against mine. "I love you just the way you are."
His hand was against my cheek, his thumb gently caressed my body. "I love you too, baby," he whispered back.
Finally, he let out a great sigh and shifted beneath me. "We really should get up," he said.
"Do we have to?" I whined, faking a pout knowing he knew I didn't mean it.
He chuckled again, shaking his head. "I guess we could stay a little longer."
I smiled, burrowing into his chest. "Good. I'm not ready to let you go yet."
He pressed his lips against the top of my head, his kiss lingering. "I'm not going anywhere," he whispered quietly.
We lay silently, until his hand found mine, our fingers intertwining. It was a comforting heat, to be wrapped up in him. There was nowhere else I'd rather be.
"Guess we're stuck here, then," he said with a playful grin.
I smiled, shutting my eyes and laying my head on his chest. "Yeah," I whispered. "And I'm perfectly okay with that."

Blanket War
Tumblr media
Summary: It’s not about the blanket.
Pairing: Alpha!Sam Winchester x Omega!Reader
Warnings: a/b/o, scenting, fighting over a blanket
Tumblr media
It’s yours and you won’t give it back. Finders’ keepers. Sam left his blanket unattended at the Dean cave, and now you refuse to hand it over.
For half an hour, he fights with you. You snap at his fingers with your teeth and growl low in your throat when he tries to snatch it from under you. “It’s mine,” you grit your teeth. “It’s cold and I need something warm.”
“You have three blankets already, and a heating pillow!” Sam argues. He usually would hand the blanket over to you without thinking twice. But the heating at the bunker is a bitch lately and stopped working in the middle of the night more than once.
“I want this one,” you curl into a ball and cradle the blanket in your arms. Sam can never know that you are fighting over the blanket because it smells like him. He wouldn’t understand. “You can have one of the others. The scratchy one Dean bought.”
“They are not scratchy,” Dean snickers while watching you and his brother bicker over the blanket. He already figured out that you have a thing for his younger brother. “You will never get a blanket from me again!”
“I want Sam’s not, yours,” you whine and snarl. Sam tried to get closer to you again, and you snapped at his fingers. “Hands off! You left it behind. It’s mine now.”
“What has gotten into you, Y/N? Do you want me to freeze to death?” Sam puts his hands on his hips and cocks a brow. “I don’t have anything to keep me warm.”
You sit up and look at Sam with glassy eyes. “I could keep you warm. My room is warm and cozy, and I got a big bed. Big enough for two.” You cradle the blanket in your arms and sniff at it. “I’ll make space for you.”
Sam watches you nuzzle the blanket. He cocks a brow and looks at his brother.
“Hey, don’t look at me,” Dean shrugs. “She doesn’t want my scent…” Dean coughs. “I meant blanket…”
“You can keep the blanket,” Sam sits on the couch next to you. “If you are cold, you can have this one too.”
“I want your scent on it,” you suddenly say. “I need your scent on it.” You sniffle. “Can I really keep it?”
“Or—” Sam scoots closer to you. “I could come to your bedroom and put my scent on your pillows, sheets, and blanket.” He leans closer to sniff at your neck. “Maybe you want me to put my scent on you too…”

Long Healed

Info - worker and boss relationship, worker reader, self harm scars, injury
I was racing around the Candy room. When Willy was really focused, he was like a surgeon. He’d call out for something and I’d need to grab it immediately and hand it to him.
“Maple leaf picked on the fifteenth day of fall,” he requested.
I went to the plants section and looked by day and type. When I got back the concoction was a lilac colour and the steam was coming up in cumulus looking clouds.
“Here,” I handed it to him. He grabbed it with tweezers.
It was wild because he even looked dashing in his lab coat and those ridiculous safety goggles.
“Tuft of hair from the beard of the 13th Billy goat in the flock,” Willy asked next.
I got the fluff and handed it to him. He took it and it made the candy mixture smell like spice. He was stirring carefully.
Other pipettes were boiling with other mixtures. I could hear the ticks and whirs of other devices working. Something in the corner was creating a new version of fairy floss. Taffy was being pulled by the stretching machine.
It was always so warm and cozy in here compared to the frigid outdoors. It was comfortable and homey. I was glad Willy had asked me to live here. I hadn’t had much of a place to stay before now. I also knew he lived here, and having someone else in the large factory made me happy.
I hadn’t had the most pleasant life. Things had been very hard before I’d been hired by Willy. I often thought of him as an angel. He was always so sweet and gentle with me. He forwarded my soverigns when I needed, and if I broke things he didn’t take it out or my paycheck.
“Please stir this while I prepare the dry ingredients,” Wonka requested.
“Yes sir,” I agreed readily.
I began to turn the spoon counterclockwise as he had. I hummed lightly as I did it. I looked over at the wall. I noticed the artists rendition of Willy’s mother. She had the best smile. I always wished I knew someone in my childhood who smiled that way at me. I would have liked to have met her. Willy was always saying she would have liked me. I always felt so warm and fuzzy when he said that sort of thing to me.
Suddenly, glass shattered. The noise startled me and I knocked over a pipette. The jelly like pink and white bubbles soared out of the tube and splattered on the floor. I felt a sharp pain as jagged pieces sliced into my arm.
“I’m sorry,” was the first thing I thought to say. Willy had rushed over to see the mess. I was horrified by how I’d destroyed his recipe.
“No, it’s okay, I’m just worried because you’re bleeding,” Willy said anxiously.
“Oh Mr. Wonka, I'm fine really,” I replied anxiously moving to hide my wrist. He gently took it back. He smoothed his thumb over my marred skin, eyes opened wider in shock.
He must have seen the the scars that hadn’t faded very well. He didn’t say anything. He made sure to get a bandage and wet cloth along with a salve to ward off infection.
He cleaned the wound, and next he used soft movements to apply the ointment. Finally, he wrapped my arm with the bandage and tied it off. It was just right, not too loose and not too tight.
“There you are,” he smiled, but it didn’t reach his eyes. He held my arm a little longer, his face getting sadder and sadder.
“You don’t have to tell me, but I’d like to know what all these other scars are from,” he murmured.
His radiant green orbs met mine. I bit the inside of my lip. I turned away from him. The intensity of his gaze was too much.
“I-I wasn’t always as happy as I was here,” I finally admitted. “I felt like the only person to take that out on…..was myself.”
“Oh, y/n,” Willy’s voice was filled with sorrow and ache.
“I haven’t done it in a while. I’m almost a year clean. I am sorry you had to see that,” I told him solemnly.
“You’ve got nothing to apologise for,” Willy told me quietly. His face dipped down and his lips touched the thicker skin. He kept his mouth there longer than I’d expected.
“I don’t want to overstep, but if you ever need a person to talk to when you feel that way; I am here,” he told me.
I finally turned back to meet his eyes. I felt full of gratitude and love. He was the kindest man I’d ever met.
“Thank you Willy, those cuts are long healed, but it feels like you just sealed them even further,” I told him tearily.
“I am glad,” he beamed.

The autumn sky had already been painted in pink and orange hues by the time you and Cole made it back to his apartment, arms full of groceries and a pumpkin Cole insisted on buying. The day had been the perfect fall day, the air brisk but with a hint of sun in the sky. The both of you had spent the day snuggled up in thick jumpers as you wandered the streets of Montreal, looking through markets and occasionally stopping in coffee shops to warm up.
As you entered the apartment, you both smelt the faint smell of vanilla from the candle that was burning that morning. You dropped the groceries you were carrying onto the kitchen counter and turned to see Cole tugging off his beanie, his hair a perfect case of messy hat hair. He caught you staring and grinned in a way that made his eyes crinkle, making your heart skip a beat.
“You’re staring,” he teased playfully.
“I’m just admiring my adorable boyfriend,” you mutter, matter of factly, unpacking the groceries as you do.
Cole steps closer and wraps his arms around your waist from behind, his chin resting on your shoulder. “Oh yeah?” He teased slightly.
You roll your eyes at his tone but lean back into him anyway. “Yeah, yeah. Be helpful and put these away, would you?”
“Only if we can make those caramel apple slices tonight,” he bargains as he unwraps himself from around you with a kiss on your cheek. He reaches for the groceries to help put them away. “I’ve been thinking about them all day.”
“Of course you have,” you laugh, shaking your head.
By the time all the groceries were put away, it was dark outside, a light drizzle beginning to tap against the window. You and Cole had changed into comfier clothes, him in sweatpants and a hoodie, you in one of his old Habs hoodies and pyjama pants.
The two of you made quick work in the kitchen, slicing apples and melting caramel, the air quickly filling with the sweet, sugary scent. Cole occasionally sneaked bites of caramel and toppings when he thought you weren’t looking, making you playfully slap his hand away from the food a few times.
“If you keep eating all the toppings and caramel, there won’t be any left for the apples,” you scolded lightly with a small smile on your face.
“Hey! I’m just making sure it’s good,” he feigned innocence, popping another spoon of caramel into his mouth. “Quality control.”
“Yeah, sure it is.”
Eventually, everything was finally ready. You loaded a plate with the caramel dipped apples and made your way over to the couch, where Cole had already set up a few blankets. He quickly joined you, carrying two mugs of hot chocolate.
“This is so cozy,” you say as you settle down on the couch, pulling a fuzzy blanket over your lap. “We should do this all the time.”
Cole hands you a mug of hot chocolate before settling down right next you on the couch, pulling the blanket over his lap as well. “We could make it a thing? Fall movie nights, caramel apple slices, all of it.”
“You’d seriously watch cheesy fall movies with me every weekend?”
“I’d do anything if it meant getting to hang out with you,” he muttered. You would have rolled your eyes at that if he hadn’t said it in such a soft, sincere way.
The night wore on and the both of you had put on a cheesy rom-com, the kind the both of you loved to make fun of but secretly loved. Cole had gradually moved closer and closer until you both ended up laying on the couch, Cole’s head resting on your stomach.
While watching the movie, you absentmindedly ran your fingers through his hair as he placed a gentle kiss on your wrist every now and again. Cole gave you a gentle squeeze as he mumbled, “This is nice.”
“It is,” you hum as you glance down at him. “I like it when you’re all cuddly.”
“I’m not cuddly,” he protested even though he snuggled closer to you. “I’m tough and intimidating.”
“Oh right, I forgot,” you mutter in a teasing tone. “You’re Cole Caufield, tough hockey player, but also a total sucker for cuddles.”
He pretended to be annoyed by scrunching up his nose, but couldn’t keep the grin off his face. “I’m just keeping you warm,” he said. “It’s my duty as your boyfriend.”
“Well, you’re doing a good job,” you say softly, leaning down to kiss the top of his head. “Ten out of ten, baby.”
You both carried on watching the rest of the movie in comfortable silence, the soft drumming sound of the rain that had pick up now filling the silence slightly. Eventually, Cole shifted slightly so that he could look up at you, his eyes soft and a little sleepy. “Hey,” he said softly. “I know I probably don’t say it enough, but I’m really glad I get to be with you like this.”
“Me too,” you mutter softly, your heart melting a little at his sincere tone.
He gave you a lopsided, boyish grin before he leaned up to kiss you. The kiss was slow and sweet, the kind of kiss that just makes you forget about everything. You melt into the kiss slightly, relishing in the feeling of Cole pressed up against you.
When he pulled back, he rested his forehead against yours and placed a soft kiss on the tip of your nose. “So…same time next weekend?” he asked softly, with a small grin.
“Only if you promise to bring more of the cheesy lines,” you tease, already nodding.
“Oh, I’ve got plenty of those baby,” he smirked slightly. “Like…wanna get some coffee? Cuz I like you a latte.”
You groaned at his words, but couldn’t help the wide smile on your face. “You’re ridiculous.”
“And you love it.”
“Yeah,” you mutter softly, nuzzling your nose against his. “I really do.”

Part 2 - 'Baby #3'
word count - 9.7 k
The soft glow of the screen illuminated the dim room, casting a warm light over Trent and you as you nestled close together in your seat. The sound of a football game played in the background, but your attention was divided between the match and each other. Your head rested on Trent with your hand comfortably entwined with his laying over your stomach. You couldn’t get enough of him lately and close was not close enough. The familiar scent and comfort of his cologne, creating a cozy, intimate atmosphere you never wanted to leave.
“I haven’t watched an adult moving in ages.” You giggled cuddling further into Trent in the cinema after an advert for a new film coming out soon flashed across the screen.  It was just after dinner, you’d eaten and finished your outing to the farm and after some showers and baths following it you were now happily in Trent’s arms watching the footie match while Teddy and Theo occupied themselves. You really hadn’t seen a proper movie you had wanted to in ages because of your babies. Honestly, you weren’t even sure what was out at the minute. It had been a lot of Bluey in your house and lately, naturally… Shaun the Sheep.
“An adult movie, yeah? What kind of adult movies are you watching?” Trent teased you, squeezing your side a little as you laid tucked in his arms.
“Oh stop! That’s not what I meant.” You playfully swatted at him. He gave you a smug smirk and raised his eyebrow if to say ‘really?’ “Stopp! What? Are you watching any?” You asked with feigned annoyance at his assumption you had been. You bit your lip looking at the mischievous glint in his eyes.
“Yeah, baby.” His confessional answer took you by surprise. When did this man have time to watch porn without you knowing was really what you were thinking. “You make the best ones.” He continued with some cheek winking down to you before returning his gaze to the match. Of course, that’s what his answer was. Despite being his wife, despite being glued to him for more than half a decade Trent was always greedy for you and the spicy videos you’d make together or send to him were always a more than welcomed treat.
“Oh my god!” You groaned, rolling your eyes. You tried to wiggle away from him but he wasn’t letting you go anywhere. He just held you tighter with a smug laugh and a few kisses. It was approaching your wedding anniversary once again and you really felt like things had never been better. Since you tied the knot, every year for your anniversary during the summer holiday you would take a trip to as many locations as years you’d been together. It was a sweet idea Trent came up with and this year you had landed on going to four islands in the caribbean for the four years of marriage. You did decide though that Teddy and Theo would join you on this one because you both wanted them to go to the destination.
“You think we’ll be able to find any sheep for Theo? He’s going to miss his little wooly friends.”  You teasingly asked after overhearing a squeal from Theo from the other room. Your eyes sparkling in the dim light as Trent chuckled, his laughter low and warm. He turned his head slightly to press a kiss to your temple, his arm tightening around you.
“We’ll find him some. I won’t lie, I'm a little over it. I’m team Ted now. The smell isn’t it for me but I’ll make it happen if that’s what you want, baby. I’ll find the only sheep on the island if it means making you and our little lad happy.” Trent teased but with a hint of sincerity in his voice. You laughed softly, your heart swelling with affection for him. Trent had a way of making everything seem possible, of bringing joy and adventure into your lives, even in the simplest of moments. As you sat there, you found yourself thinking about your kids and how much they had grown before Trent cut your blissful thoughts. “He’s so strange, baby.” Trent laughed to himself thinking about Theo’s surge of interest in farm animals.
“He’s not weird! He’s curious.” You feigned a faux pout to Trent. You knew he said it with cheek and didn’t mean it seriously but you pretended to be offended by his critique of your perfect baby boy.
“He’s curious and very funny. I love him, he’s goated.” Trent corrected himself with a bit more of a laugh and you rolled your eyes at his unintentional pun. Trent nodded, a proud smile tugging at his lips. “I just want to hold onto you forever, beautiful. My whole world.”  Trent muffled into your hair after a comfortable silence simply enjoying the closeness and the quiet murmur in the cinema around you interspersed with squeals and giggles from outside it.
“Please.” You childishly cooed, squeezing him more. “Can you hear them?” You smiled hearing Teddy babble away about something to Theo. They were playing outside of the room. You could still hear them though, it just sounded like gibberish. Teddy was an amazing big sister and they would be fine alone for small bits of time so you let them play, more than okay with some time with Trent.
“What are they on about?” Trent asked like you’d know. You shrugged. There were few things as cute and as funny as your toddlers conversing. They were in their own reality happy as can be.
“Thank you for giving me my babies. They’re everything to me.” You sighed to Trent with a gentle smile.
“I loved every bit of it all, baby. Start to finish. Some parts were maybe harder than others but if it got us to right now, right here, I wouldn’t change a thing. Do it all again with you, with them.” Trent kissed your lips with a hum holding you tight to him. The game played on, but your mind drifted somewhere else. You bit your lip, feeling a familiar nervous flutter in your stomach. You shifted slightly, glancing up at Trent through your lashes.
“So you know…” You sheepishly asked Trent. Your voice was vague, but Trent knew exactly what you meant. He had seen the signs before—twice actually. How you became even more affectionate, your desire to be close to him almost insatiable. How your need for him grew in these specific ways, the way you sought his warmth and touch. The signs had been unmistakable the second time and they were just as clear now to him.
“I’ve had a hunch.” Trent cooed gently, his voice low and full of understanding but then flashed a heartbreakingly beautiful smile. He turned to look at you fully, his eyes searching yours. There was a knowing smile on his face, soft and reassuring. Your cheeks flushed with a mix of excitement and a little embarrassment. You felt your heart race, a familiar blend of anticipation and tenderness filling you. Trent squeezed your hand, bringing it to his lips to press a gentle kiss on your knuckles.
“Well… and your hunch is…” You smiled at him with a twinkle in your eye. You laughed softly, your head dipping slightly in mock bashfulness. You leaned in closer, your lips brushing against his neck, your breath warm against his skin.
“Nah, come on Y/N, did you take a test or not. Don’t play with me. Are we having another baby?” Trent’s smile widened, his heart beating a little faster at your words. Your lips curled into a smile, tears filling your eyes as you nodded. You’d taken a test because of a hunch of your own the other day and were still trying to think of a cute way to tell Trent till now but he figured it out on his own. You could feel that he knew. He did. It wasn’t all that dramatic for him to find out this way, but it was romantic in the way that he knew you so well. He loved knowing you that well, how close you two were, how even after all these years, the spark between you never dimmed. He loved you. He turned his head slightly, catching your lips with his in a soft, lingering kiss. The warmth between you grew, the connection deepening with every shared breath. In that moment, nothing else mattered—not the game on the screen or the world outside the cinema. It was just you two about to embark on another adventure, wrapped up in each other, planning your future and cherishing the present. You felt a swell of happiness as you realized, once again, how truly blessed you were to have Trent by your side. “I love you, Y/N. More than anything in the whole world. I’ll never be able to understand what I did to deserve you but I promise I will never take what you or our…” He paused for a moment, beginning to smile.  “Three babies for granted.” Trent whispered as the kiss broke, Trent rested his forehead against yours in the soft darkness. You smiled, eyes shining with tears of joy. You sat there, wrapped in each other’s arms, dreaming of your next baby and the little life growing inside you, knowing that no matter where life took you, you would always have each other.
“Dada? What doing?” Your moment of sheer bliss and emotion was sliced in half by the voice cutting through the room, one of your dogs trailing behind the little boy eager to find Trent.
“My favorite things, mate.” Trent smiled seeing Theo come stand in front of you two.  He looked so innocent. You just wanted to reach over and squish him. Eat his chubby little cheeks. He pulled at the sleeves of his Essentials hoodie covering his hands, making sweater paws like Trent did. Theo wanted to be just like him and he tried but what was funny, was that when he wasn’t trying, he was probably the most successful. Theo swayed thinking for a moment. You figured you’d just let them have their conversation, staring at the other version of themselves.
“Like whats?” Theo asked as he moved to awkwardly try to get onto the seat. His tiny hands gripping the cushion with all his might. His chubby cheeks puffed up in concentration as he huffed a tiny breath, his brows furrowing in a serious effort. He lifted one leg high, almost too high for his own balance, and placed a wobbly foot on the edge of the couch. For a moment, he teetered on the brink of toppling over but managed to steady himself with a comical sway. With a grunt of exertion, he pushed himself up, his other leg dangling off the side as if unsure whether to follow.
“Watching footie, having a cuddle with mummy.” Trent told Theo extending his arm out to help drag him up. Theo kicked a few times, trying to find some leverage, and finally, with a burst of clumsy enthusiasm, he flopped his whole body onto the couch with Trent’s help.
“Oh… like those too. My favorite too, dada!”  A giggle escaped his lips as he landed, face first into the cushions, his legs still hanging off the side. He wriggled and squirmed, using his pudgy little arms to pull himself up further.
“Yeah? C’mere then. Watch with me.” Trent smiled at Theo dragging him towards you and him. Trent loved that Theo loved footie. Watching matches with his son was surreal. They’d sit and talk about the game for hours it felt like. Theo asked all the questions Trent was dying to answer for him.
“And give mama kiss.” Theo tacked on telling Trent that was as equally as important as the game unfolding. Trent hummed, agreeing.
“Is that my Theo?” You cooed gently bringing him into a tight embrace. Theo mumbled a ‘hi mama’ into your warm skin. “My best and prettiest boys.” You cooed kissing Theo’s hair and then another to Trent’s chest.
“Dada like football and mama?” Theo asked Trent wriggling in your hold to pick his little head up to look at his dad with naive innocence.
“Like both but I think mummy just edges it though, huh? What about you?” Trent asked him, running his hand over Theo’s freshly braided hair.
“Yeah huh.” Theo giggled squirming to get Trent’s hand off him sillily. “Like mama more but like footie toos.” Your little boy confirmed.  Trent confirmed his statement once again with a quiet ‘agreed.’ He smiled looking at Theo knowing he was a mummy’s boy and he wouldn’t have it any other way.
“Teddy girl, where are you, baby?” You called out into the room trying to see where she was after assuming she would’ve tailed Theo into the room. “Thank you, baby for picking me over footie. I know you love footie.” You whispered, kissing Theo’s cheek as he moved to wrap his little arms around your neck with a nod.
“Daddy! Guess what!!” Teddy was quick to run into the room with information for Trent after hearing your call, her eyes sparkling with happiness. She jumped on the sofa and immediately squished herself against him. Her face lit up with a big, joyful smile. She clambered further onto his lap, wrapping her small arms around his neck and nestling her head against his chest. Trent looked down at her, his heart melting at her affectionate gesture. He wrapped his arms around her little body, holding her close as he pressed a gentle kiss to the top of her head. Teddy giggled softly, feeling safe and cherished in her daddy’s arms. She looked up at him with pure love. You had no idea what she had to say but you were excited to hear whatever it may be.
You were due soon. Boy number two, baby number three on the way. This pregnancy had been calm, almost chill. This had been different from the start. With your first two, you had experienced so many ups and downs—morning sickness, restless nights, constant fatigue and of course the chaos that followed in postpartum. But this time around, everything felt smoother, almost serene. The little life growing inside you seemed to bring a calm that you had never felt before, and you embraced it with open arms. This little baby was your peace. Trent noticed it too. He had been worried when you first found out, remembering how challenging your previous pregnancies had been. But every day, he saw the peacefulness in your eyes, the gentle glow of your skin, and the ease with which you moved. It was as if this baby had come with a promise of tranquility, a soft breeze in your otherwise bustling life. You had once worried about how you would manage it all—raising two energetic children while carrying a third—but you soon discovered that you had more help than you could have ever imagined. Teddy and Theo were a dream. They seemed to sense the change in their mum and had grown into their roles as big sister and brother with an almost surprising maturity. Teddy, always the little helper, would sit next to you, her small hands patting your belly with gentle care. You would smile, her heart swelling with love. You softly would brush Teddy’s hair back and kiss her. You were so grateful for her sweet nature and her ability to fall into her big sister role with ease. Theo, on the other hand, had become even more of a cuddle bug. He would climb onto your lap, nuzzling into you, content just to be close. He was still his silly, curious self, but he seemed to understand that things were a bit different now, and he was more than happy to be part of this new chapter. On one afternoon of the many days that had now blurred together as you were sitting on the sofa, Theo wiggled his way under your arm, pressing his face against your belly.
“Baby is in there. I cuddle, too.” Theo muffled, in his adorable, innocent voice. You laughed softly, your heart nearly bursting with joy at how naturally your babies had adjusted to the idea of a sibling. Teddy was particularly thrilled she was still going to be the only girl when she should out it was another boy. Very adamant that you and her were the only ‘Alszander Arnal girls’ as she would say.
“Yeah, sweetheart, baby is in mummy’s tummy. He’s so lucky to have a big brother like you.” You kissed the top of Theo’s head. “You’ll be a little brother and a big brother like how daddy is. You’re just like daddy, huh?” You cooed gently. Theo was gassed anytime he was told he was like Trent so he beamed hearing a new way he could be like him more so. Trent smiled looking on from the otherside of the couch with Teddy. He often found himself watching your family with a mixture of awe and gratitude. He was relieved and thankful that this pregnancy was going smoothly, but more than that, he was overwhelmed by the love and support that surrounded you. He’d never seen you happier or more at peace, and it was all thanks to the little family you’d built together. He got up from the couch plopping Teddy on the ground. He walked into the out of the room quickly and then returned back to you. Trent sat down beside you, wrapping one arm around you. His smile was warm and full of love as he handed you a box.
“For mummy and our newest baby.” He said softly, his eyes sparkling with joy. Before you could even start opening it, Teddy quickly climbed up onto the sofa alongside Theo, both of their little hands reaching out.
“Mama! Need helps with daddy’s present?” Teddy asked you, her eyes wide with excitement, while Theo nodded enthusiastically with her, liking the idea of getting to open a present whether or not it was for them or not. You couldn’t resist their enthusiasm.
“Course, you can help me.” You laughed, handing the soft orange Hermès box in your lap over to them. They eagerly opened the lid with the kind of frenzied energy only children could muster, tissue paper flying everywhere. As an Avalon blanket was revealed, their faces quickly turned from excitement to confusion.
“A blankie, mama?” Theo asked, clearly underwhelmed and confused. Teddy leaned over to get a better look inside and frowned slightly, not quite understanding it either. You couldn’t help but laugh softly at their innocence.
“Yeah, it’s a really special blankie.” Trent explained gently followed by a chuckle, rubbing Theo's back with his condolences that it wasn't a more interesting gift in their opinion. “It’s not just any blankie though, lad. Daddy has given one of these extra special blankets to mummy every time we’ve had a little baby. One for Ted, one for Tees, and now one for our new baby so mummy can have a cozy cuddle with each of you.” Trent explained with a warm smile, his voice tender as he pulled Theo into his lap for said cuddle. Trent looked at the soft, luxurious cashmere fabric inside the box. The blanket was exquisite, as it always was, each time. The beautiful, soft cream color of baby number three’s was embroidered with your surname once again. It wasn’t just the blanket itself that made your heart swell; it was the tradition behind it, the thoughtfulness of Trent in keeping up this gesture for each child.
“Yeah, they're so special to mummy. I love these so much because I have one for each of my babies.” You cooed, kissing Teddy and Theo’s heads. “My little Baby Alexander-Arnolds.” Your voice quivered, getting emotional. As you gently lifted the blanket out of the box, you couldn’t hold back the tears that began to well up in your eyes. The reality of this new life growing inside you, the love Trent showed in his own unique way, and the excitement of sharing this tradition with your children — it was all so overwhelming in the best possible way.
“Mama, tays?” Teddy asked worried after she noticed your tears first, looking up at you, concerned. Her small hand reaching out to touch your arm, scooting towards you on the seat. You nodded, sniffling through the tears.
“Yeah, my Teddy bear. Thank you for asking. This is just so special to mummy. You Theo and daddy just make me really really happy that’s all.” You cooed softly struggling to get words out. Trent leaned in closer to you, wrapping his arm around your waist and pulling you into a gentle embrace.
“You’re everything to us, baby.” He tucked his face into the nape of your neck and whispered just to you, kissing your warm skin. Theo clumsily attempted to push Trent off your body to get to you. Trent laughed and let him move him.
“I like blankie if make mama happy.” Theo softly explained adorably. Theo wrapped his arms around you best he could, still not quite understanding the gift but wanting anything to would make his mummy happy. He laid his head onto you with the intention to nuzzle impossibly further into you.
“I like blankie too, mama. I like happy mama and I like um… our family.” Teddy told you, looking between you and Trent. Her sweet remark eliciting a real cry. You were so emotional and pregnant, you couldn’t help it. Trent breathily and sympathetically laughed at how sweet the past thirty minutes had been. He pulled you into his embrace once more, reaching out his arm to drag Teddy along as well. You held the blanket close to your chest, you let out a soft laugh amidst your tears, feeling the warmth of your family around you. As you nestled closer to Trent, you realized just how precious these moments were — how they formed the fabric of your family, much like the blanket that would soon wrap your newest child in love.
“Thank you, baby for everything you do for our family. You’re amazing, you know that?” Trent softly kissed your temple. His voice filled with love. “We love mummy so much, yeah?” Trent spoke out into the room. Teddy and Theo noddingtheir confirmation. You leaned into Trent, a content smile on your lips.
“No, thank you. I couldn’t do it without you, T. I was really nervous at first, but now... it’s like everything is just falling into place.” You rested your head onto his shoulder. Trent kissed the top of your head, feeling an overwhelming sense of relief, gratitude, and happiness. As you sat on the couch, comfortably cradling your baby bump, he held you close, you watched Teddy and Theo move to go create some sort of game to play together on the carpet. This pregnancy was a gift, a calm amid the storm, and you couldn’t have felt more blessed. Your family was your greatest treasure, and you knew, no matter what. The future looked bright, and you were ready to embrace every moment of it.
The closer you go to the end of the pregnancy the atmosphere in the house grew more expectant and filled with excitement. Winnie had come to visit, eager to help out and spend time with your family, her family. She loved her niece and nephew,  and couldn’t wait to meet the next addition. Tonight, she found herself curled up on the couch with Teddy, who was nestled in her arms. The soft glow of a living room lamp cast a warm light over them. Teddy’s sleepy eyes were fixed on a bedtime story Winnie was helping her read. George had just come over as well. He had stopped by to check on you and catch up with Trent but it was clear that Winnie’s presence was a pleasant surprise for him so he stuck around offering to help out. Theo welcomed his stay with open arms, squeals and giggles. George had always harbored feelings for Winnie, but he had kept them to himself, especially after hearing about her breakup about a year ago from Jadon. It wasn’t messy or bad per se, they just didn’t work. Winnie was finding she wanted more, Jadon had known he wanted less, no one wanted to compromise. Ultimately it might've been maybe more of a physically driven connection that lasted longer than they each expected but it was meant to end. George typically didn’t press about things but he genuinely cared for Winnie. Seeing her now, so close and yet so distant, stirred something in him. Later that evening, you and Trent had gone out to enjoy a quiet dinner together before your baby's arrival, thankful you could leave George and Winnie in charge of putting Teddy and Theo to bed. The house fell into a serene quietness once they had. With Teddy and Theo tucked in and the night settled, George and Winnie found themselves alone in the living room, the silence between them both comforting and charged with unspoken emotions. George leaned back in his chair, watching Winnie with a soft smile instead of the TV.
“So, I haven’t had a chance to ask but how are you really doing, Win? I know it’s been a while since the breakup, but… you know, those things take time.” George asked Winnie gently, his voice low and sincere. He wanted to know, genuinely. Winnie sighed, her gaze drifting down to her hands in her lap a little embarrassed. She was well aware that George probably knew more about her breakup than she would have liked via you and Trent.
“I’m doing okay, I guess. It’s honestly fine. It really is. It was meant to end. It’s just… I’m finding out I’m not so great at being alone. You know when you get out of a relationship and you just are sitting on a sofa and are thinking to yourself now what…” Winnie explained examining her manicure to not make eye contact but she flashed her eyes up to George to see if he did know what she was talking about. He did not. “Of course, you don’t.” Winnie laughed. “I’m just saying I miss a cuddle, you know? The intimacy of it all. But I’m learning to be okay with it. With it just being me.” Winnie softly admitted with a hint of sadness. You growing into a family of five and Winnie recently single really stung a lot. She felt it every time she entered her one bedroom apartment, she felt it everytime you facetimed her with Teddy and Theo. George’s heart tightened at her words. He had always admired her free spirit and independence, but he also knew how much she valued connection and affection. He wasn’t sure if Winnie even knew how much she needed that.
“I know you don’t need anyone but if you ever need a cuddle, I’m here.” He sheepishly told her with sincerity. “Just as a friend, you know.” He clarified his offer hoping it wasn’t something Winnie would be taken back by. George sweetly looked at her. He meant it harmlessly, genuinely not trying to make a move. Winnie looked at him, surprised by his offer but not shocked by his kindness. Without thinking too much about it, she scooted closer to him on the sofa, allowing herself to lean into his side. George wrapped his arm around her shoulders, holding her gently, dragging her in closer. The warmth of his body against hers was comforting, and for a moment, they simply sat there in silence, enjoying the closeness. But as the seconds ticked by, something shifted. Winnie turned her head slightly, her eyes locking onto George’s. In that moment, caught in the tenderness of his gaze and the safety of his embrace, she felt a sudden, overwhelming urge to kiss him. She leaned in, her lips brushing his softly. George pulled back, a look of surprise and conflict on his face. He gently held her shoulders, creating a bit of space between them.
“Win, I’m sorry. You know I like you, I do. So much. I just can’t be a momentary comfort for you. Not for you. Please. Don’t do this to me.” George haphazardly spoke to her. He was soft but firm, his voice filled with emotion “You know I like you, Winnie.” He repeated to make it clear this wasn’t a rejection because he wasn’t interested. He was saying no because he was too interested. Winnie’s heart ached at his words, the realization of his deep feelings settling heavily in the room. She hadn’t meant to hurt him with her kiss; she just got caught up in the moment.
“George, I’m sorry… I didn’t mean to make you feel that way. It’s just…” Winnie sighed, embarrassed. It was a rarity that she ever got rejected but this hurt a lot because she knew George liked her and it occurred to her that she had always liked him but purposely chose a more dangerous option time and time again. He didn’t need to say he did because if she was really honest with herself she’d known since she met him. “You know I’ve always found you attractive though. That wasn’t intended to be a momentary comfort.  I guess I didn’t know how to handle things before. I thought I wanted something else, but I was wrong. I know that now. I was just… I needed to mature, to understand what I really want in a man. And…sorry this is stupid.” Winnie paused, turning her head away from him feeling something she rarely felt, fear. George kept his eyes on her though. He reached out and cupped her cheek, turning her face back to him. Winnie took a deep breath. “I want you, George.” Winnie’s voice trembled slightly as she spoke. She was earnest, eyes wide with emotion. George’s breath hitched, his eyes searching hers for sincerity. He had hoped for this moment for so long but never imagined it would happen this way. He could see the honesty in her expression, the vulnerability she was showing. His grip on her softened, his fingers brushing her skin gently.
“Win..” George cautioned her. Of course, they had good chemistry but he didn’t want to mess things up. Not now. They were friends. “You're not just saying that or… just missing what you had?” His voice was full of hope but uncertainty. Winnie shook her head, her eyes glistening with unshed tears.
“No, G. I mean it. I’ve realized that what I thought I wanted isn’t what I need. I want someone who truly cares about me, who’s kind, smart, and patient… but hot….someone like you.” She shyly smiled. George tried his absolute hardest not to grin at the complement. “I just was being ignorant before, and I’m sorry it took me so long. I don’t expect you to do anything. I don’t know. Now you know but I definitely understand why you..” Winnie tried to keep explaining that she accepted the rejection but George cut her off before she could go on.
“Shhh. Just shhh, Win.” George felt his heart swell with hope, a slow smile spreading across his face, he couldn’t hold back any longer. He leaned forward, resting his forehead against hers before letting their lips collide eliciting a feeling neither of them expected. “I just want to be there for you, however you need.” George muttered trying to make sure they weren’t making a massive mistake before their lips drew together creating the perfect rhythm.
“You. That’s all I need.” Winnie whispered as her lips pulled off his as they curled into a smile, her hands moving to cup his face gently. The room had gone dark besides the glare of the tv on them. Their gaze on eachother was heated. Winnie’s eyes went even darker than room, lids gone heavy. This is what she was good at. She was confident now. Soon they were breathless in a makeout that was the best thing either had felt in a long while. This hook up had feelings behind it. Winnie moved from his lips and began kissing down him. George’s head fell back onto the sofa cushion. He’d thought about this alot. Winnie smirked, relishing in the sounds she was able to draw from someone who was normally so composed. When you and Trent got home unbeknownst to you things were heating up further in your living room. You went upstairs right away when you arrived back to check on Teddy and Theo. Trent on the other hand walked into quite the scene. He suddenly stopped when he heard George groan as Winnie gagged. Trent’s eyes widened and he spun on his heel immediately changing directions, running to find you. He literally almost physically ran into you on the stairs torn between the excitement and shock of his discovery.
“Is George like that?!” You asked Trent through a giggle as you both sat on your staircase after Trent relayed what he heard; George with a commanding ‘just like that’ had shocked you both. George was just so unassuming it caught you out. You stayed there not wanting to interrupt them but you also didn’t go upstairs yet. You were close enough to know what was going on but not close enough to gross yourself out and hear too much.
“I don’t know! I’ve never like heard him, baby.” Trent looked at you like you were crazy for thinking Trent would know that type of information but then fell into a laugh when you started to giggle. You hid your face in Trent’s neck blushing at the entire situation.  “I feel like low key Winnie’s always held a torch and well we knew George did.” Trent kept talking and you agreed with both sentiments. As much as Winnie loved to say she wanted a bad boy, someone who liked to party, you knew Winnie preferred to be the wild one in a relationship and come home to someone to take care of her. After 20 minutes of you and Trent giggling, you got bored and just wanted to go upstairs and get up to your own antics. After an hour or so Trent received a text message from George asking if he could crash at the house. Trent laughed knowing what the incentive behind the text was but he played it off naively with a ‘course, mate.’ Needless to say George and Winnie were about to have themselves a good night in a guest room on your first floor.
Late into that night or really it was well into the morning you stood in the dim kitchen, rummaging through the walk in pantry with a growing frustration. Your pregnancy cravings had been all over the place lately- craving crisps one minute, ice cream the next, and on some days, the distinct taste of Percy Pigs or the following day it’d be pepperoni. Tonight, your stomach growled with a hunger that couldn't quite be pinned down, making you even more restless. As you fumbled around in the dark, you heard soft footsteps behind you. The overhead kitchen light flicked on, casting a warm glow over the room. You turned to see Trent standing there, a soft sleepy smile playing on his lips.
"Number three keeping you up, pretty girl?" He asked, his voice thick with sleep. His eyes were gentle, full of that mix of concern and amusement he often had when he caught you in the midst of your midnight cravings. You gave a sheepish shrug, half-smiling.
"I'm just... I don't know what I want," you admitted with a frown, still scanning the shelves as if the answer might suddenly appear in front of you. "I thought maybe some crisps, or maybe something sweet, but now I just... I'm not sure." You sighed. Trent chuckled softly and walked over to you, his bare feet padding quietly on the kitchen floor till her got to you wrapping his arms around you and gently swaying you back and forth in front of him. He let you go after a kiss to your cheek to go get himself a drink of water.
"Well, tell me what you fancy, and I'll help you find it." He offered. "Or I could go out and grab something for you." His offer was sincere, but you could see the sleepy haze still clinging to his features. You turned about to say no when you watched Trent as he stretched his arms above his head, a lazy, broad stretch that made the muscles in his chest and arms flex. Your gaze followed the movement, catching sight of his toned abs contracting and the waistband of his shorts dipping just low enough to reveal that tantalizing V shape that always drove you wild. Your mouth watered instantly, but not for anything in the pantry. A completely different craving took over, one that had nothing to do with food. You felt a sudden, undeniable pull toward him, your body reacting instinctively to the sight of him standing there, half-asleep yet effortlessly sexy. "Actually..." you dragged out the words, your voice dropping to a sultry whisper as you turned to face him fully. "I think I've just figured out exactly what I want." You cooed with a mischievous glint in your eyes. Trent's sleepy smile turned into a knowing grin as he caught the change in your tone and that look in your eyes.
"Oh yeah?" He asked, stepping back to you, his voice low and teasing. "And what might that be, beautiful?" He gave you a devastatingly handsome smirk. You reached out, fingers grazing his bare chest, feeling the warmth of his skin under your touch.
"You," you said simply, letting your hand trail down his torso, fingers dancing over the firm lines of his stomach. Trent's grin widened, his eyes darkening with a mixture of amusement and desire.
"Well, I can help you satisfy that craving.," he murmured, stepping even closer until his body was almost flush against yours. He dipped his head down, capturing your lips in a slow, sensual kiss that sent a shiver down your spine. You melted into him, your craving for food completely forgotten as you wrapped your arms around his neck, deepening the kiss.Trent's hands moved to your waist, pulling you against him, his grip firm and possessive. His mouth moved against yours with a hunger that matched your own, and you couldn't help but moan softly into the kiss. His lips left yours and traveled to your neck, planting soft, teasing kisses along your skin. "You know, baby." He murmured between kisses. "If you keep waking me up like this, we're going to have to invest in some midnight snacks of a different kind." Trent whispered. You laughed softly, but the sound quickly turned into a sigh of pleasure as his hands slid under the hem of your shirt, fingers tracing the curve of your back. When you groaned, his heart leapt in his throat while simultaneously his dick hardened in his shorts.
"Maybe I just have a taste for you, Trent Alexander-Arnold." You whispered, tugging him closer.Trent pulled back just enough to look at you, his eyes filled with that familiar spark of playful mischief.
"Then let's make sure Trent Alexander-Arnold’s wife is satisfied." He said, his voice low and teasing, sending another thrill through your body. His hands glided over the curve of your ass. He lifted you effortlessly onto the kitchen counter, his mouth finding yours again in a deep, hungry kiss. As his hands began to explore your body with a slow, deliberate intensity, you knew that this was one craving that wouldn't go unsatisfied tonight. “Can you be a good girl and be quiet f’me?” He cooed as he pulled out a chair at your kitchen island to take a seat in front of you. You nodded as he pulled your legs apart as you sat on the marble countertop. You slid one foot down the cold surface spreading your legs further apart for him  “Did I ever tell you how fucking much I love our kitchen.” Trent spoke quietly, not looking at the kitchen at all. He moved to place a feather light kiss onto your ankle working them up your leg, purposefully skipping over where you wanted him most, continuing down your other leg.  Subconsciously, your thighs widened more for him. You whined desperate for him but very aware that he was not going to let you close your legs now. You complained about his playful kisses, feeling a deep desire building within you, heat radiating to your core as your arousal intensified and your clit began to pulse. The gentle brush of his stubble against your bare skin was utterly sensual. “Such a good girl f’me always so wet, baby.” His eyes lit looking at your glistening pussy. He was quick to place his thumb over your clit, rubbing it gentle circles keeping his eyes locked on you. Trent wrapped his arms around your thighs and pulled your core to his face. He dragged his middle and index fingers through your folds and then dragging his tongue in his wake making your head drop back. He moved his perfect plump lips to focus on your clit as he gently slid his index finger into your warm, wetness, groaning at how turned on you were. You stifled a moan as the feeling of just one of his fingers inside you ignited your desire. His tongue danced around your clit, teasing and licking the area, deliberately steering clear of the exact spot you craved his mouth the most. You tried to arch your hips off the cold countertop beneath you desperate to find more fiction. Trent grunting attempting to reprimand you as his arm laid across your hips holding you down. He knew you were growing impatient. He added another finger, and then another, moving and furling in and out of your throbbing pussy. He flattened his tongue against your clit.
“Fuck fuck fuck.” You groan and tried to stifle your words. Trent tried to shush you but couldn’t help his laughter just vibrating against you only amplifying your pleasure. You inhaled sharply. You knew he was holding back on you because when he got into it an you weren’t trying to muffles the sounds of his impromptu late night kitchen eats from Winnie and George from hearing, he could ravish you like you were his favorite meal. His lips sucked on your bud and parted your folds with his tongue, the tip frantically teasing you mercilessly, circling as his finger pumped in and out, hitting the spot he knew would have you reeling and moaning your name. “T… I can’t! Oh my god.” You whined but Trent was quick to try to lessen the noise he was evoking from you. His arm across your hips moved to bring his hand up to your mouth, seamlessly and sexily.  When his lips closed around your clit, sucking on it, you became a begging mess.
“Such a good fucking girl.” He muffled into you smug as can be.Trent loved to find himself in between your thighs, lapping his tongue through your folds. Hearing and feeling you falling apart on his tongue was the best trophy he could ever win. You were clenching uncontrollably around his fingers as his sucked on your clit with just enough pressure. “Cum f’me, baby. Cum now.” He demanded quietly as you felt your thighs begin to quiver. In low warm lights sprawled from Trent in your quiet kitchen your back arched as you fell into an earth shattering orgasm courtesy of the man who would always take care of you. You twitched as he dragged out your high. The risk of being caught out fucking in your kitchen at god knows what hour of the morning had you feeling unreal. He moved from sucking at your sensitive throbbing clit before he dragged his tongue back through your folds lewdly slurping the slick from your pussy. He kept his fingers thrusting inside of you, going a little slower as he worked kisses up your body. His lips on your neck, the slick on your skin and post orgasmic feeling sending a shiver down your spine.
“Can you give me one more?” Trent asked you, desperate for more of you and you weren’t going to be the one to deprive him of that.  Hell, he had come all the way downstairs to help with your midnight snack. You were ready for him to fuck you on this counter so you could wipe it down after and happily hand him his breakfast on it tomorrow. He gently laid you back against the marble. He kissed your jawline up before bringing you into a passionate kiss. You sat up on your forearms as he cupped your face.
“Fuck me, T, please,” you begged, sounding some how even more desperate then before. His cock twitched hearing your voice. You blinked up at Trent with doe eyes after your orgasm continued to linger. He pulled his hard cock out stroking it and teasingly dragging the tip through your folds as he pulled you into another steamy kiss. You whined, unable to wait any longer. He lifted your hips a little for him to push into you both of you gasping in a breath. He slid his hand up your body up to your exposed tits. Trent's eyes glazed over seeing your tits bounce as you laid back for him as you whined out. His big hands slid up your body coming to play with your hard nipples. You hiccuped a little as he picked up the pace, hitting deeper, drilling into both of you fighting your hardest to bite back the moans you were dying to let out.
“God, I fucking  love you, baby, so much.” He was able to get out a strained whisper, feeling the warm pulsations as he eased in and out of you. You wrapped your legs around his waist, dragging your heels down his muscular back. Your body was being rocked against the surface beneath you when Trent slipped his fingers into your mouth. Flustered by his pace you gaged around them, drooling, sucking desperately before he dragged them down to rub perfect circles on your clit.
“You’re gonnna make me cum. Please T. Just like that. Please baby.” You begged him as the knot in your stomach tightened just before it snapped. You clenched tighter around his throbbing cock. He took his fingers off your clit as he leaned forward to kiss you.
“Yeah? I make you feel so good, huh? You love cumming on my cock, beautiful. Look so good cumming for me. I’m gonna fucking cum, hmm?” You nodded desperately. His cock twitching deep inside you seconds before he came, painting your insides, filling you up. “I know, baby, I know,” he mumbled, silencing you with a kiss. You whimpered at his words, your walls clenching around him as if your body understood what he wanted as he voiced it.Your eyes squeezed closed, a whimpered moan accidentally escaping you lips. You knew it was just as hard for him to stay quiet too. Honestly, this was as quiet as you two probably could get, so it was impressive that you both had to manage to pull it off.
The kitchen then was filled with quiet, post-craving giggles as you and Trent tried to compose yourselves. Your bodies were still pressed close together, both of you breathless and flushed from your late-night adventure. Every time you made eye contact, another wave of laughter threatened to spill out, and you had to bite your lip to stifle it. Trent pressed his forehead against yours, his eyes gleaming with amusement.
“Shhh,” you whispered, your shoulders shaking with silent laughter. “We’ve got to be quiet, or Winnie and George will hear us.” Trent chuckled softly, his warm breath tickling your cheek.
“You’re the one who couldn’t keep quiet,” he teased, his voice a low murmur. He pulled you even closer, his arms wrapping around you in a tight, comforting embrace. “But I’m not complaining,” he added, pressing a gentle kiss to your temple.
“Stop! You made it hard to be quiet.,” you replied, your smile widening as you leaned into his warmth. Despite your teasing words, there was nothing but love in your voice. You swayed gently in his arms, moving in a slow, lazy rhythm as if you were still caught in the afterglow of your midnight rendezvous. You exchanged a few whispered “I love you’s,” each one filled with the depth of your affection and the quiet joy of this stolen moment together.Eventually, Trent helped you off the counter, his hands lingering on your waist as you both reluctantly pulled away.
“Come on,” he whispered, giving you a soft, playful nudge. “We should get back to bed. You need rest after all that” He cheekily told you. You nodded, still grinning as you slipped your hand into his, letting him guide you back to your bedroom. The two of you tiptoed down the hall, stifling giggles every step of the way, feeling like mischievous teenagers sneaking around in your own home. The next morning, the house was filled with the comforting smell of breakfast. You were at the stove, humming softly to yourself as you flipped pancakes, a content smile on your lips. You were ready to tease Winnie about her own evening, eager to see her reaction. Trent sat at the kitchen table, entertaining Teddy and Theo with stories while they waited for their food. Just as you were about to make a cheeky comment, Winnie strolled into the kitchen, George trailing behind her. She stretched her arms above her head with an exaggerated yawn and then dramatically dropped them, smirking at Teddy and Theo.
“Did mummy and daddy wake anyone else up last night?” she asked, her tone teasing. Teddy’s eyes went wide with curiosity, and Theo, ever the observant one, scrunched his nose in confusion.
“Wake ups?” Teddy echoed, looking between you and Trent. “Whys? What doing last night?” She asked slightly worried she had potentially missed out on something. You felt your cheeks heat up instantly, a burst of laughter escaping you.
“Winnie!” you exclaimed, trying to sound scolding, but failing miserably as you started to laugh. Trent chuckled, shaking his head as he stood up from the table. He walked over to you and wrapped an arm around your waist. Winnie just grinned, clearly enjoying herself. She winked, making her way over to the table to sit down.
“Nothing, cute girl. Did you sleep okay?” Winnie cooed, dragging Teddy into her lap who nodded her answer. George laughed.  As you served breakfast, you couldn’t help but shoot a playful glare in Winnie’s direction, but the smile on your face never wavered. It was just another morning filled with love, laughter, and a little bit of teasing—exactly the way you liked it.
Another night came, this one without Winnie and George. It had passed Teddy and Theo’s bedtime, it was approaching yours. The house was finally quiet. The kids were asleep in their rooms, the soft hum of the baby monitor the only sound breaking the silence. You and Trent were getting into bed, the glow of two bedside lamps casting a warm light over you both. It was one of those rare moments of calm where you could just be together, without the usual chaos of family life. Trent had been quiet for a while, his arm around you as you leaned into his side, your head resting against his shoulder as you scrolled on your phone. You could feel the steady rhythm of his breathing, the warmth of his body grounding you. He turned slightly, and you felt him shift so he could look at you more directly, you hadn’t noticed that he had been staring at you the whole time. There was something in his eyes—an intensity, a depth of emotion—that made your heart skip a beat.
“YN, I need to tell you something.” Trent softly muttered out. His voice filled with emotion. Trent had been watching you closely all evening, his eyes filled with a tenderness that was impossible to miss. He took a deep breath, his hand finding yours beneath the blanket, and gently squeezed. You turned to face him, your heart suddenly aware of the seriousness in his tone.
You looked at him, a little puzzled but intrigued, sensing the depth in his tone. Trent took a deep breath, his eyes searching yours as if trying to find the right words. “I just… I don’t think I tell you enough how much you mean to me.  Every single day, I watch you with our kids, the way you care for them, love them, teach them… and I’m just in awe. You’ve given me this beautiful family, a life I didn’t even know I could or wanted to have.” His words struck a chord deep within you, and you felt your throat tighten with emotion. Trent reached up, brushing a strand of hair away from your face, his touch tender. “Lately, I’ve been thinking back to when we first started this whole thing… this relationship. I was so nervous, so unsure of not how much I loved you but if I was good enough for you. But you… you bought in. You took a chance on me, and it changed my life. You changed my life, YN.” Trent’s voice broke slightly. You could feel tears welling up in your eyes, the weight of his words sinking in. He squeezed your hand, his thumb gently stroking your skin. “I don’t know where I’d be without you. I don’t even want to think about it. Because with you… with our kids… I have everything. I have a home, a family, a love that’s deeper than anything I ever imagined. And it’s all because of you. You make me a better man, a better father. I’m so thankful, every single day, that you’re mine.” The tears spilled over, and you couldn’t help but smile through them, overwhelmed by the depth of his love. He shifted closer, his thumb brushing over your knuckles as he gathered his thoughts. His eyes were misty, his voice carrying a mix of admiration and concern. "Just thank you, baby for trying so hard to persevere. I know it hasn't been easy, dealing with everything you've gone through... your struggles. I can't imagine how hard it's been for you, but I just want you to know how proud I am of you." He cooed gently. You felt a lump form in your throat, the sincerity of his words hitting you deep. Trent reached out, cupping your cheek with his hand, his gaze unwavering and filled with love. "All I could ever want is for you to see yourself the way I see you. I wish you could see the way our babies look at you, baby. The way their faces light up when they see the most beautiful mummy in the whole world. They adore you, YN. They see you as this stunning, loving, strong woman who means everything to them… just like I do."
“T…” You whimpered, unable to get anything else out. You weren't prepared for this monologue. Tears were streaming down your face at this point. His words wrapping around your heart like a warm embrace. Trent's own eyes were glistening, his emotions raw and open.
"God, I love you so much. Sometimes I still can’t believe how lucky I got, meeting you by chance in New York. How you kept talking to me, even though I was just some lad from across the ocean. I can’t believe you took a chance on me, on us. That you flew all the way to England just to visit me... it feels like a dream sometimes.” Trent babbled with a trembling voice. Frankly you always thought it was more insane he gave you the chance so your pouty lips curled a little bit of smile. He paused, his voice catching in his throat as he struggled to find the words. You could see the depth of his feelings in his eyes, the love and gratitude that overflowed from him. "I’m so incredibly grateful for you, YN. For everything you’ve done, everything you are. You’re the strongest person I know, and I just… I want you to see that. I want you to feel that. Because you are everything to me, to them. Everything." He leaned in, pressing his forehead against yours, his eyes closing as he took a shaky breath. You could feel the warmth of his breath on your skin, his words lingering in the air between you.
"Trent, I… I love you too. So much. More than I can even say." Tears continued to stream down your face. You wrapped your arms around him, pulling him close as the tears fell freely. Trent held you tightly, his embrace firm and full of love. You could feel his heartbeat against your chest, steady and reassuring.
“I will always, always take care of you and our family. You have my heart forever, baby. I’m here and I’m yours and they’re ours. Always” Trent whispered against your hair. In his arms, you felt a sense of peace, a calm that only his presence could bring. You knew that no matter what challenges lay ahead, you had each other. And that was more than enough.
“T, I… I don’t even know what to say. You’ve given me so much. You gave me a life I actually wanted. You are my best friend, my confidant, my partner in everything. I love you so much.” You hiccuped through the words as he pulled you closer, his forehead resting against yours as he closed his eyes, savoring the moment.
“I love you more than anything in this world, YN. More than words could ever say. Thank you for everything. For being the mother of our children, for being my partner, my best friend. For being you.” He whispered, echoing you. You wrapped your arms around him, holding him close, feeling the steady beat of his heart against yours. In that moment, surrounded by the warmth of his embrace, you knew you were exactly where you were meant to be—loved deeply and completely by the man who meant everything to you.

I am not much of a morning person. Would much rather roll in these sheets and hide from the sunshine. Maybe sleep Sunday away. Yeah that sounds wonderful. If a foot wasn’t digging into my back, dammit Mikey.
Roll from one dead side to the other. Block myself from the brownstone windows. Warm by the sunrise. Breathe in the fresh cool air float, the familiar smell of turtles. Slide my hand out from under the covers. Cold hand in search of warmth. One pinky touches large fingers. The large fingers intertwine mine, drowning my hand in his large palm. Open my eyes, golden yellow rays beam behind me. Between thin lace curtains casts  the bedroom in sunshine and floral shadows. White dust floats in the dry air.
A mutant turtle sleeps before me. Snug under a mess of covers. Brush the top cover from his head. Unveil, and cascade his green skin in the warm glow. How his soft splash of freckles  mottle his skin. No mask on, nor needed for now.
From how much he wears his orange mask. I wonder how soft his skin is. In this light, the floral shadows. The most beautiful morning I ever woke up to. One hand drowning in Mikey’s warm hold. Slip a free hand from under the cozy covers. Feel the massive bed head hair under my head. Careful and slow not to wake him. Stroke his sweet face, indulge in curiosity. Soft, delicate, and angelic.Who would ever think someone who eats chewed up gum off of the subway, would feel like this. Caress his cheek, his temple where the mask hides. Enjoy this.
“Can I stay with you tonight?”
Past Mikey whispers in my memory from last night.
The lone turtle then. At my staircase, his fingers fumble each other as his puppy dog eyes ask the same question. His sleeping self now. Fumble fingers, quiet and holding mine now. How can I say no? But eventually questions will need to face reality.
Can’t stay in this bed forever reality says. I’d say stay in this bed and watch Mikey sleep forever. Oh well. Innocent tight grip on my palm. Deep sleep breathing warms my smile. Lean in so quiet. Can’t resist it, I press my lips on his dear forehead. Watch his cheeks curve a smile even in deep slumber.
Don’t ever stop being you Mikey.
Alright. Up I get, much as I don’t want to. Leave the turtle snug in my bed. That is tucked in a brick corner. Don’t have to worry about him rolling off.
Search through the maze on the bedroom floor. Uniforms from work, socks with no mates. I can relate to them.
Ah ha! Bright orange fabric burns in the sun. Pull it out from the pile of clothes. A bright orange hoodie. The color that gives me a craving for apricots. Old stains litter the color. Over stretched collar, and sleeves worn by time. A bright white kitten cartoon on the front. Now in the color of creme from the sun. Take the old thing in my hands. Put it on top of the tank top. Gotta grab the collar, take a big whiff. Hmmm, home. Been so long.
Step into a mix match pair of fuzzy orange and pink socks. To fight against the cold wood floor. Too early to be cold. Leave heaven in the bedroom. Out I go to reality. A small brownstone apartment. Creaky wooden floors, and old paint chips cabinets. Matches my selection of found used furniture.
“Is everything okay Mikey?”
My past memory self asks.
Think back to all of it as I begin the day of making coffee.
Mikey and I in the kitchen then over a cup of coffee and orange soda. Last thing I needed is a caffeinated Michelangelo at 1 am.
“You know we can talk about anything.”
Memories dance on in my mind, as I dump the sweet bliss of coffee grinds in the filter.
Think about everything last night. The dim kitchen lights that I haven’t fixed yet. My best friend for a turtle at the island counter. Bathed in that golden glow. Take a seat next to him. How those heavy eyes look away, deep down in the open soda can. A rare sight for someone who smiles in their sleep. My pinky brushes his. Let those large turtle fingers wrap around my small human hand. Palms rough from 15 years of battle after battle. On quiet nights light these. His thumb strokes my hand ever so gentle.
“Can we talk about it in the morning? I want to be with you, like old times.”
The reality me would have told him no and sort this out. Tomorrow is an early work shift. Yet, in the warm light. Bright green complexion is sheet white. His wrists clench quiet shivers his quiet hold. Matches the quiver of his small smile. Think back to his fading faith glimmering in the night.
Lean in, same as always Mikey dips his head. Lean forward, his forehead meets my lips in the middle. Ease his quiet shivers snuggle into my shoulder for a starved embrace.
Whisper to him, “Our times will never be old, Mikey, we can talk whenever you're ready.”
Old times. I miss them too. But this is life now. Have an apartment, a job. It’s not the greatest, the boss needs to take a chill vacation. Either way it keeps my apartment lights on. I’m happy about it.
An old apartment in the warm sun. Create light for my dingy kitchen. Give my hanging plants some needed sunshine. Gonna have to ask Donnie when I can transfer these new herbs to my herb garden. A metal shelf in the living area, about half full of my collection. Hey, if there’s a way I can cut grocery costs in half, I’ll do it.
Phone vibrates beside the coffee tin. Turn the phone over to see the screen. Speak of the devil.
9:30 March 28, Donnie: Hey, Sweetheart.
Just like old times. His nickname for me.
Me: Mornin to U too Dee, those hangin planters r really workin.”
Bubbles float on a white and purple screen. Set it on the counter. Press the hot water button to brew the coffee. Let the smooth aroma of rich coffee take me back to when I was little. When this smart turtle used to put coffee in my toddler mug.
9:35
Donnie: What’d I tell you, I’m a genius, they shouldn’t be ready to move for another couple weeks.
Me: Thanks genius
Bubbles float on the purple screen again. Boy must be busy working on something. Like that has never happened. Swear, if he didn’t have four brothers to keep him busy. Donnie would turn into a science crazy hermit. The kind that requires warning labels. Least some of us are still home.
Take a look around my apartment. Squishy in size. Living room has enough size for one couch, one apple box coffee table, and a TV on my black shelf. Empty and quiet.
9:40
Donnie: Is Mike with you?
Run back to the kitchen. Fill my mug before the coffee machine drowns itself.
Me: Yea he is asleep. Did something happen?
Donnie: No
Head over to my breakfast nook. Set the hot mug down on the bistro table.
Me: Dee
Donnie: Nothing happened
Wow that text came fast. Nothing stops the brainiac’s work. Not even me. Not for a while anyway.
Donnie: He misses you, that’s all, this is a big change
Oh, I see.
Me: It’s a big change 4 me, when R U going to help me build those plant shelves U told me about??
Bubbles float. Hold the mug close in my hands. Inhale the memory of Donnie’s smell. His warmth then.
Donnie: Soon, Sweetheart, I promise, it will be like old times.
Bubbles float under Donnie’s message on my phone. A picture pops up. In a slender olive green palm. In a cool computer screen light is a rubik's cube.
After all these years. He has that old thing. Hope he never throws it away.
Donnie: I love you Sweetheart.
Take one strong sip of coffee. Send Donnie one more text. I set the phone back into its place in my pocket. Relax in my chair, look out the large bay windows. Close my eyes to songs of pigeon wings fluttering by. The Mighty River of a city rushes. Feel the warm sunshine wake me. The streets are full of people below. Look back to my kitchen before me. No stove making smoke signals. Not a single orange skewered by a Sai. Nor the clashes and bangs of a family. Yet they say they are ninjas. An old kitchen. Quiet, clean, and bright in the sun. This is my life now.
Warmth touches my back. No need to turn. Two freckle hands slither out between my arms. Wrap around my midsection. A soft cheek melts into my shoulder. Old life nuzzles me.
“I’m starving.”
“Morning starving.” I smirk on his freckle cheek.
Squish the coffee sloshing inside me, he retorts. “Hey that’s my thing.”
Take a sip of coffee, “And now it’s mine.”
Set of arms recoils around me. Leave my shoulder cold. He opens the fridge.
“No bacon for you then.” His shell faces me.
Wait a bit for him to dig through. Swish the coffee in the mug.
I answer his mutter, “And no bacon for anyone.”
A turtle steps back. Hand clutch onto his plastron chest. Take heavy breaths, he gasps. “You, no bacon? Are you loco homie?!”
“I know, I’m shocked too, it's been a couple weeks since my last pay cheque.” I answer.
And who knows when my next one will come in.
“You’re Boss still giving you a hard time?” Mikey closes the fridge.
An armful of something. Nothing stops him and his empty stomach.
Get up for the second cup. I pause, stare down at the endless black liquid in the pink coffee mug. See my tired self ripple in the black reflection.
I answer, “Not anymore, he switches the schedule pretty much to whatever he wants, I’m on casual for now, till something else pops up.”
“New York, what a place.”
“Work, what a concept.”
He holds up my few selection of eggs. I answer his silent question.
“No, those are normal, they won’t explode powder this time.”
Mikey raises an orange eyeridge, “last time you told me that, I had glitter in my shell for 4 weeks straight.”
Chuckle at the old memory years ago. To prove him wrong I crack them on the pan for him.
Murmur in the calm quiet. “See, no ninja smoke, nor glitter.”
Soft shift of Mikey’s feet squeaks the old hardwood. He snorts, “Or ghost pepper powder ninja smoke bombs.”
“That was one time.” I snicker.
“My face still burns.”
“That was for the rubber spiders in my bed, you goon,” I giggle, “I can’t go to bed without checking the covers, because of you.”
Toaster wires twang. Shake the proof of my old glitter prank out of his shell.
Mikey chuckles, “Worth it.”
One more person is here besides me. Another to make noise. Bring more light into the apartment. Hear their feet scuff on wood. Have someone help me clean. It’s nice.
“Mike?”
No answer. Place the dry dishes back in their cupboard.
Dry the next, I ask, “Is everything going okay home- I mean the lair?”
Freckle hands take the dry plate from me. He turns away.
“Same as usual.”
Awe come on buddy, there’s more than that. Toss the towel in the pile of laundry yet to be done.
Wait for him to turn. Sometimes a look is needed for Mike to talk. This time Mikey doesn’t look. Nose points to the old pink mat.
“The guys pick on you again? Did Donnie explode anything?” I ask on.
Nothing. Turtle frame leans on the counter behind him. If only he smiles, the way he always does. Then the sunshine wouldn’t be the only thing that shines.
Leave the sink. His three finger turtle hands lay dormant. Take his hands. Even now with great effort. Human hand can only hold his fingers.
“Can we hang out today?” He asks my hand.
Human thumb strokes the back of his hand. I murmur, “I would love that Mikey, but you have to remember it’s daylight now, and your brothers know where you are.”
No need to ask who. Answer his quiet question.
“They know you’re safe with me, no one is coming unless you want them to.”
Please let me see his eyes. Let his hand squeeze mine. Mikey whispers under his breath. “Just want to be with you.”
Maybe that’s what is needed. No need to rush things. Nor chase anything away. The same way as it always has been. Hand in hand. Close our eyes. Lean forwards our foreheads touch. Warm each other, lean on each other. The apartment is quiet, and I am not alone.
“Have any of those spiders left?”
Life my gaze to him. We pull back.
“No but I have these,” His hands pull out a handful of water balloons.
Pull on a pair of jeans. Turtle follows me over to a window in the bedroom. A wonderful view of the next door apartment wall. The morning sun fades above the city buildings.
“You know, Mike, this place does have a fire escape.”
Lead him to the destination outside the bedroom window. On one window faces the main streets. Another faces the alley. In Between the black metal bars of the staircase. The two of us smirk.
Mikey gives me his baby blue eyes. Narrow in an evil grin. “Are you thinking what I’m thinking?”
“Always.”
Open the window. Ladies first, his hands boost me to climb out. Wait for him, take his hand to pull him out. The turtle doesn't let go. Does he want to hold hands to climb the stairs?
He reads my mind. “We don’t need to climb that.”
Of course we don’t. Throw me on his shell. Bind my arms around him in a death grip. Ignore his chuckle. One hop after a flip, and a hoist. Up on the roof. Wooden water tower, ducting systems. The only thing that is missing. Is them. I miss this.
After endless hours of throwing water balloons at the innocent people down below. Watch them scream, shout, and laugh in cold water. Some may or may not have glitter and glue. No wonder so many become villains.
Look over the edge down to a busy sidewalk. Wet sidewalk dried by the midday sun. Where dozens of people murmur.
Tie off the balloon I ask, “This is the last one right?”
Mikey’s hand waits for me to hand the balloon to him. Quiet, He mutters, “Yep.”
His smile is here. Looking at me. This is the first time seeing him in daylight. Freckles burn in the light. A gentle breeze sways the clothes lines all around us. Sways his orange mask tails. A flame in the sun. Is it his smile?
Reach the balloon to him. He ushers my wrist as well. Watch the balloon fall to its next victim. Neither one of us watches who the balloon hits. A turtle and human sit mid daylight together on a roof ledge.
“Tessie?”
Hand holds human wrist. Run a hand over fair skin. Over old memories. Ones forgotten. Some are not.
Stroke his thumb over dark bruises. Both of our freckle faces meet each other. Read each other’s silence.
Slip my hand away, “I’m okay, it’s old.”
A free green hand. Comb the long strands back.
Soft words feather darkness, “You told me you were going to be okay, we made a promise didn’t we?”
A quiet nod.
He takes both of my hands in his.
Mikey asks, “Are you safe? Does anyone follow?”
Pull the orange hoodie sleeve over the bruise. I chuckle, “Nope, just coffee machines falling apart on me.”
Silence. Skin and shell shifts Mikey closer. Drown me in his shadow. Sinks my eyes further to my own hands. Draw along the old cracks that scarred this old building.
A gentle push, he whispers, “Are you sure, that’s what happened? We don’t keep secrets, remember.”
Stroke his hands, I murmur, “Mikey? What’s going on buddy?”
He shrinks back. “Just want to know if you are okay.”
Reach for him again, “Not just that, I know you why came over,” lift his chin to see me, burn the sun in my eyes, “did you think I wouldn’t miss you at all? We made a promise.”
Nothing. Revert his focus. This is not the turtle I know. Please don’t change who he is. He slips away. No hop down the fire escape. He climbs down. Leave the fun. Hide from whatever sunlight there may be.
Old memories mimic new. For as long as I can remember. I follow Mikey. Shell to me, saunter down the empty stairs. Back inside, the window curtains waltz in the slow air. Crawl back inside the bedroom. No turtle in the bed. Wander out to the kitchen. No turtle in the fridge. Out in the cold quiet living. Brown cold brick. One lone poster decorates the house. Green curtains drawn. Cover the room in floral shadows. One single blanket. Pink, fluffy, and covered in cartoon cats. All wrapped around a green ball of shell.
No need to say words. Yells, whispers or anything. Not unless we break what we have. I’ve already caused enough damage before. Know what lingers in this apartment. A dark bitter blackness.
Not now. Mikey is here. Curled alone in a ball in a dark corner of the couch. Only one person is allowed to do so in this apartment. Or deserves to be left like this.
In pink and orange socks, given to me on Christmas from this special turtle. I climb down the platform steps. Weave around the coffee table. The shelf garden gives the room a fresh green smell. Controversial to the dark bitterness that darkens the room. Take a seat next to the fuzzy pink and green shell bundle.
Whisper. “Mikey…”
Silence. Fluffy white clouds roll over the golden sun. Hide away all the warmth of the morning before. Drape us in a cool gray shadow.
“I know…what happened.” The fluffy bundle mumbles.
Shade claps into black. Words shatter thin glass nerves. Fingers tingle, vibrate. Feet fizzle numb.
“H-how…I-I…no nothing happened”-
“I know everything, something did happen” Softness bitters a sharp growl.
Uncurl himself from his tight ball. Cold ice shrinks me to look away. No, they swore they wouldn’t say a word. For his sake I never want him to know. He wasn’t there for any of it. How could he know?
A free open apartment space all around us. Could get up and run from this if needed.Yet I am frozen where I sit. So close to his ice cold freeze.
Memories of a storm roars.
“That my boss is a jerk,” I smirk old news, “Most bosses are like that Mike”-
“Stop hiding Tessie”-
Heart leaps from the couch. Heels spin to run. Hands snatch mine.
“Wait, wait, hold a sec.” Grip pulls me back.
Heart thumps out all words in my throat a short scream. Run, scream all thoughts. Hide, shivers all joints. My turtle best friend. His gentle palm softens around my wrist. Yet this cold shiver. Clam all limbs to run forever.
“…. P-please…” A child who died so long ago whispers, “L-let me go.”
The child who found the other dead. His hand hugs mine, squeezes his plea.
“I’m sorry sissy,” stops the pull, freezes the cold distance of what feels like miles apart.
Couch hinges creak behind. A shadow drapes over me. So many have curled me into a ball. Ready for what’s to come. This one, so many times before when I was small.
Soft words reach nerves, “You’re alright,”
Green freckle arms, Mikey’s arms slide around me. Drown out the cold in his warmth, he whispers, “breathe with me.”
Wait for nerves to shiver, to breathe. His warmth turns me to his chest, to his racing heart to listen to mine.
“It’s okay,” Michel whispers, “you’re safe.”
Silence. Why am I like this? Why can’t I just be normal? Every training spar, loud bangs, every click of the coffee machine. It’s always like this.
“I found it all in the garbage this morning.”
Oh no, that was supposed to be gone before he’s awake. The bottles, the evidence, all of it. How could I forget that? How can I be so stupid? Of course he knows it all. No one was supposed to know. Especially Mikey.
The turtle pulls me from his warmth. Enough for his palms to lift cheeks up to his sweet blue gaze. Those big round eyes. Burns bright in the midday sun almost as radiant as his permanent smile. All tucked away in the shadow. Nothing can shade away the sweetness in his gaze.
“I don’t have any more if you’re wondering.” I mumble.
“Good,” His cheek nuzzles my forehead, “We never keep secrets.”
Think back to when that rule was made so long ago. Nudge his cheek in a nod.
He asks, “Why did you leave us?”
Both of us sink back down on the couch.
I explain, “it was time, I couldn’t stay refuge forever.”
“But you weren’t, you’re not a refuge,” Mikey sinks his eye level to mine, “did the guys ever tell you that?”
“Mikey, they’ve been looking for my family since day one.” Curl into those old thoughts. Close them away in these hands before me.
Fold himself on the couch. Follow him. Lay side by side. One head on the other's thigh.
Chin on my thigh digs, “I never looked.”
“No,” I slide the pink blanket back over his shell, “You didn’t.”
Green fingers fiddle with the elastic band of my socks. “We promised no matter what you and I will stay together, what made you want to leave?”
Snuggle under the blanket and his soft skin. I answer. “For this, we are above service in broad daylight, it’s what we’ve dreamed of, another kitchen to blow up, we just spent a whole morning pulling pranks on other people other than the guys, said we would visit each other all the time…why haven’t you, Donnie, or Leo, or Raphie? I tried to call you.”
Darkness clouds baby blues. Drops to the colorful butterflies on the blanket. Hand on my shoulder slides away. Hold onto the little butterflies. Should’ve known.
“You weren’t ready to let go, that’s why you won’t return my texts” Green muzzle hides. I take his limp arm, hold it so soft “We were never siblings to begin with, you found me, remember.”
Tears well, soak orange mask, he shivers. “But you were mine, you were ours, so tiny in my arms. I knew you were mine. For once I had someone who thinks my pranks are cool, can speak Donnie, can out punch Raph, and talk sense into Leo when he goes leader serious,”
“You were small too Mikey,” I add in, holding his hand, “we’re only a few years apart, from different lives.”
More tears fall with his words and clench teeth, “And that life threw you out to the street, they left you to die. How can someone be so cruel? They didn’t know you.”
Both human hand and turtle hand lock together.
Smile at the thought.
“You never left me, none of you did, you saved me my friend, you didn’t know me then either. Raphael and the others were right to look for my family. To find a solution to give me a normal life,” lost in a fog of water, heat burns all. Swim through the water, find my orange clad turtle, “Mikey, you were the one that gave me that normal life, let me make a normal life up here for all of us.”
Crystal clear blue eyes ripple in the waves. Green complexion red as mine. Our muscles are as weak as each other. Both of us sit up from our ball.
His round innocence. Sweet, angelic as his soft face. He trembles under water. “S-So…you didn’t leave…B-because you hated us, or something we did? T-thought you were done with your old brother.”
Hands travel up from his arm. Freckle skin soaks in the sun and tears yet to fall. In this cold looney living room. Sunshine seeps between the curtain shadows. Shine more golden light inside.
“Mikey, there will never be a time where I hate you, this is the next stage of life to come, would never leave you for good. Want you all of us to be a part of it. Nothing has changed, what has changed is where we are.”
Cheeks curve in a smile. A hand on his cheek. He takes the back of my hand. Hold it still for him to snuggle into my palm. Two green hands, hold both my cheeks. Warm thumbs rub the hot tears aside. Same way he always has since day one.
I chuckle, “there were so many times, so many pranks I’ve wanted to punch the daylights out of and have, you were always there for me, my best friend, and a brother I’ve always wanted to have.”
A wet tongue licks a cow lick on my already messed up hair. Send gross shivers down my spine. To run to the closest thing to a shower and drown in.
The orange turtle doesn’t let me go. Mikey chuckles, “Least I have you.”
“Always.”
Lean forward and our foreheads meet. Lean on each other. Arms join as well. Wrap each other in a tight embrace. Leave each other's foreheads to our cheeks, dig out noses into each other's shoulders. What may seem so unusual to the real world. Perhaps ugly or wrong. Maybe my life may have been different without him. I don’t care what my life would have been. This is my life now.
Michelangelo the freckled turtle in orange. Surround me in his warmth and love. His own sunshine.
No matter where life takes us. Where we may be. Whenever there is a street that needs to be terrorized by pranks. Or to text and call a bunch of brothers to build a garden shelf on walls. When the time comes when we grow older and wiser. Maybe families of our own. Or just us still on and on. There will always be,
Mikey and me.

Remember me?
(Hello! I wrote this as a start of a sequel to my Fic A Breath of You
Link and (Y/n) are married <3)
"I'll be back before you know it." Link smiled and pressed a gentle kiss to my forehead. I sighed and pulled him in for a hug. Finding it hard to feel any of him through the armor. He hugged back, holding me close. Our embrace was intimate and warm. I always got anxious when he left for the castle. I knew it was his duty, and it's been years. But... I still fear. I can't shake the anxious feeling within my heart. "I know." I murmured and looked up at him. He wore a gentle expression as I pulled myself off of him. He held out his hand, and I placed mine within it my ring glinting in the soft light. "As long as you wear this ring, I will always come back to you. Always." He promised. I nodded, a sad sigh escaping my lips
Link placed a finger under my chin, gently tilting my face up to look in his eyes. They were filled with love and kindness. He pulled me in, giving me a soft kiss. "Before you know it, (Y/n). Zelda wanted to see what's under the Castle. It shouldn't be anything but research, alright?" He whispered. I nodded, feeling his hands leave me. "Why don't you visit Impa? I heard she's giving the title of Chief to Paya. Go congratulate her. Support her, you know? Take Sky on a trip. So you don't have to be alone here. If I take longer than a day, I'll meet you back here. Alright, love?" He opened the door, tilting his head. I sighed and turned, looking at my traveling stuff hung up. "Yeah. I guess. I haven't seen Impa in a while." I mumbled.
Link gave a wink as he exited the door. "That's my girl. Go see them. I'll see you there, or here. Okay? Before you know it." He repeated and slowly shut the door. I sighed and listened to the sounds of him grabbing his horse, Malo, and taking him to ride away to the castle. I stood in our house, the sounds of emptiness filling me with dread. I sighed and walked up the stairs. I sat in our bed and laid back, already missing him. He was right. I should go see Impa. And Paya.
After another moment I pulled myself out of bed and gathered my traveling gear. I pulled on my things, taking Link's hood and wrapping it around myself. He wore it when tending to the animals so I could smell him on it. I smiled, grabbing my satchel and a weapon. And a bow, and I stole some arrows from Link's stash.
Technically since we were married now, it's my stash too.
I laughed at my own little joke. I turned and looked at myself in the mirror. Wow. I haven't worn this stuff since... the events. Since Link and I first moved in. We built our house to be cozy, and warm. A couch, a table and chairs. Our bed upstairs, with a vanity and some more things scattered here and there. For our wedding gift Link had a print of him and I painted in our wedding outfits. Flowers and white and he looked dazzling in the royal guard uniform. I loved it. Our horses were even in the picture behind us.
I turned to the door, opening it and looking left. Sky was happily munching on grass in the field beside our house. "You." I called out, finding her looking up at me tiredly. "We're going on an adventure." I smiled, pulling the door shut and walking over. She seemed to stare at what I was wearing and slowly walked away from me. "That's... you asshole. Get back here. Lazy whore." I muttered, walking behind the house to the shed. I opened the door, finding her reigns and saddle. I pulled them off their place, finding the saddle especially dusty. I brushed it off, walking over to Sky. She eyed me suspiciously, I smiled holding up the supplies. "I hope you're not too fat to wear this. Hylia knows all you do is sit and eat. I thought you used to be wild."
Sky snorted, turning to walk away again. "Don't you dare." I muttered, pulling out the reigns. I reached out and gently tugged at her halter. "I understand you haven't walked more than a few steps a day," That was a lie I took her out on rides weekly. "But, today you are looking pretty. We're going to see Impa." I said, reaching up to pull off the halter. I took the bit of her bridle and coaxed it into her mouth. Sky watched me with a glare, stubbornly going along with this. I smiled and gave her a pat. "I will give you all the apples we find. As soon as you start behaving." I hummed, putting the rest of the bridle on.
I gently tugged, making sure everything was secure. Sky, however, swung her head a bit faster than I expected when I tugged. I grunted and pulled back, so she didn't head but me. "You will be meat if you don't stop acting up." I muttered, tying her reigns to the fence. She snorted at me, as I placed the saddle pad on. I threw her saddle on top, reaching under her and pulling the straps tight. I continued to make sure she was travel ready and gave her reassuring pats. After the uncomfortable stuff was done, I untied her reigns and tossed them over her head. "That's my pretty girl, look at you." I whispered, petting her happily. Sky was not impressed, but I don't think there was much for her to complain about. I placed my foot in the stirrups and pulled myself up on her back. I situated myself on the saddle, patting her softly. "Good girl. Thank you." I said softly, steering her reigns towards the gate. We pushed out, and began making our way to Kakariko.
"(Y/n)!" Paya cheered, as I stepped through the doors of Impa's house. I giggled feeling her squeeze me into a tight hug. I gently wrapped my arms around her and placed a kiss on her cheek. "Paya, I heard Impa was giving you title of chief. Congratulations dear! You're going to do amazing." She grinned and blushed embarrassed. "Oh, yeah. That's what she says." She mumbled and backed away. I turned to my old friend and smiled. "Impa!" She opened her arms and I gave her a hug. "(Y/n), it's so good to see you. How are you? How's Link?" She asked, taking my hands. "Oh, I'm well. Link is too. He's on his way to the castle to help Zelda and her research."
Impa's eyes searched mine for a moment before relaxing. "Alright. I see why you're here now. Come, my dear. Let's go out and wander the town. Paya, you're in charge." Impa called. Paya squeaked out, scrambling for something. I laughed softly as the old woman led me outside. "You've prepped her for being leader so soon?" I asked softly. "Oh, yes. I'm old. I'm tired, and I don't want to lead anymore. I wish to relax and do what I want. You've been able to, so why don't I?" I laughed softly, allowing her to lead me around town. We spoke to the other townsfolk, everyone greeting me with a smile and open arms. I've gotten more hugs in the past years than I ever did. It's nice.
We toured around some more, Impa making conversation with everyone we met. I watched and night drew near. We returned to her home and sat in the living room. I undressed from my armor, leaving only a shirt I stole from Link and some comfy pants to rest in. This was heaven. Life was great. "Have you two been planning for children?" Impa asked after a long night of conversation. "Honestly," I murmured, leaning back on my hands. "I don't know. I've brought it up to Link, and we've been... you know." I blushed. "I think he wants to make sure Hyrule is completely safe before he wants to bring children into the world. I respect that. I would like some children though. Hopefully once he's done examining the castle, everything will be perfect." I said. Impa laughed and shook her head. "Of course. I understand. A warrior simply wants his children to grow up with peace. How noble of him. You're still young." She said, using quotation marks around that word.
I hummed in agreement. "Yeah, I worry though." I said softly. "He has night terrors. Stress and trauma from everything he's been through. I've woken up to him screaming, and fighting the blankets. By the time I get him to calm down he's wide awake. Sometimes I'll wake up and find him standing in the living room with the master sword in hand. I know everything's still effected him, but I hope it begins to dwindle soon. I think he's coping with it better, though." I thought back to the first night I found him like that.
I woke up to his spot cold. I crawled out of bed, and he was marching downstairs. Like he was in a trance of some sort. "Link?" I had whispered, reaching out to tap his shoulder. His hand snapped up, grabbing my wrist. His eyes locked with mine and he seemed to break. Tears ran down his face and fear swirled in his eyes. I held him as he shook, crying into my shoulder.
"I worry if we have children, he'll be even more stressed. So I hope this will put him at ease." Impa nodded her head solemnly. "Yes. It's hard watching someone go through the after effects of a great ordeal. You're doing the best you can to support him. I know it." I smiled and nodded to myself. Link knows I've went through this as well. After reading my journal he took a long, long look at me. I was worried he'd be upset but instead he pulled me in to a hug and cried with me. Apologizing for everything I'd been through, and what I was put through.
"(Y/n), there's a huge herd of horses behind Kakariko. Would you like to go see them tomorrow? There's a beautiful stallion within them, and I think he'd really catch your eye." Impa suggested. I smiled, being pulled out of my sad thoughts. "Absolutely. I'd love to." With that, Impa helped me get my things together for bed and we slept. The silent house creaked in the night, but it seemed to lull me to sleep.
"Woah." I whispered, standing atop the hill of Kakariko. The city below me as I watched the herd of horses grazing. I smiled, standing tall and feeling the wind wrap around me. Suddenly, I heard soft whispers. I turned around, finding the Great Fairy fountain glittering. It seemed to beckon me. I wandered over, climbing up the petals and resting myself on the pad. Slowly, the fairy emerged. Cotera took a long look at me as she exited the fountain. "Why hello dear, why are you here?" She hummed, a sing song voice. I smiled and shrugged. "It's a beautiful place to relax, you've made it quite the home." I complimented. She let out a soft laugh, and it sounded almost sad. "Yes, well, I'm moving."
"Moving?" I asked abruptly, blinking quickly. She nodded slowly. "I sense a great evil. It's coming." She whispered fearfully. "Run child, save yourself." I shook my head, my eyes widening. "No." I cried out softly. "No, please you can't say that. Hyrule is at peace." He hands reached out and pushed me, suddenly I felt the ground rumble beneath me. Within a moment her bloom vanished, as did the rest of the fairies. I was falling, and the ground began to lift from beneath me. I screamed, tilting back with nothing to hold onto me. Suddenly I was caught between the sky and the ground. I watched as it lifted up, leaving me. Falling. One last scream escaped from my mouth.
"Link!"
Impa was close behind (Y/n), but not enough. She felt the rumbles and heard her scream. She climbed up the mountain as fast as she could. There, she found a darkness as the ground lifted. On the edge was (Y/n), laying crumbled on the ground. Unconscious. She ran over, pulling her away from the darkness. "Somebody help!" She screamed, her voice echoing through the hills. (Y/n)'s arm was the wrong way, obviously broken from trying to catch herself. She had blood oozing from the back of her head. "(Y/n), wake up." Impa whispered, shaking her body. Paya and a few other villagers had rushed to them. They saw (Y/n) and Impa, taking (Y/n) and helping Impa down the hill.
They laid her on a medical bed as they wrapped her arm and her head wound. She seemed to be breathing fine, but whatever happened knocked her out cold. "Grandma, what happened?" Paya asked softly. "(Y/n) was watching the horses, and then it looked like she went to visit the Great Fairy. I wasn't far behind, but then the ground began to rise and," Impa sucked in a breath. "I heard her scream. I've... never heard her scream like that." She whispered fearfully. "We have to find Link. We have to let him know (Y/n)'s been injured." Her arm was broken, and they thought some of her ribs might've as well. Her head... oh goddess her head. They worried. (Y/n) rested peacefully and Impa watched over her, with baited breath. A letter for Link was sent out to Purah, where Impa was informed Link and Zelda were missing.
"Link, your wife needs you." Impa whispered, holding (Y/n)'s good hand. (Y/n) woke up in the night, gasping for water. She was given it and immediately fell back into a slumber. Her eyes rolling back and her body slumping. After another day, she awoke. Confusion danced in her eyes, and she squinted around.
-
"Where am I?" I breathed out, my eyes fluttering as they adjusted to the sights around me. My chest hurt, my arm hurt and my head was hammering. I groaned, closing my eyes tightly. It felt like someone was taking a stick and slamming it into my skull. "(Y/n), you're awake." An old woman sitting beside my bed squeezed my shoulder. I looked at her, tilting my head. "You're in my house." The woman whispered. I looked at her with wide eyes, nodding slowly. "(Y/n)? You look pale." I leaned back, sucking in a breath. The urge to vomit was strong, but I knew I could hold it back. I was fine.
"Can... can I have something to write with?" I asked softly. "Of course. Are you sure you're feeling okay?" I nodded slowly. "Yes. I am." I clenched my right hand, feeling tingling building it's way up my wrist. "Goddess, what did I do to this hand?" I asked. The woman was searching for something for me, and came back with a book and a pen. "Did you injure it during your fall as well? We couldn't find anything broken. Just your nerve damage." I blinked, staring at my hand. A ring sat on my finger. "I... I'm... married? I have nerve damage? I fell?" I whispered to myself.
Where was I?
Who was that?
When... when did I get married?
She placed the book and pen in my lap. I nodded a thanks, taking it and using my bad arm to hold open the page. "(Y/n)?" The woman whispered. I refused to look at her. Shame washed through me. "I'm sorry... I don't know who you are." I said quietly. The woman seemed to still. "I see." She squeaked. She watched me for a moment before patting my arm. "It's alright, dear. Rest. We'll talk later." I nodded and stared down at the pages of the book. Empty. Blank.
Dear Journal,
Who am I?
"Paya." Impa hissed, grabbing her granddaughter's arm. "We need to talk." Paya turned to Impa. "What is it?" She asked softly. "Go inside and introduce yourself to (Y/n). She'll be less scared with someone who she thinks is her age." Impa urged. Paya made a face. "What are you talking about?" She asked. Impa shook her head, her grip tightening on Paya's arm. "Do what I say, now. As your grandmother, listen to me." Paya swallowed before opening the door to Impa's home, finding (Y/n) staring at the book in her lap.
-
"Hello there. I heard your name is (Y/n). I'm Paya, the leader of this village you're in. Kakariko." I stared at the girl who wandered in. She may be a bit younger than me, but she was comforting. "Oh. Okay." I murmured. "It's nice to meet you." Paya smiled softly and looked at my journal. "What are you writing there?" I looked at it and sighed. "I need to get my feelings out somehow. I... don't know anyone who I can talk to about my feelings. Am... do you know me?" I whispered. Paya looked at me carefully. "Maybe." She murmured. "Why?" I sighed and looked down at my journal. "I wake up, shirtless and wrapped in bandages. A strange woman beside me holding my hand, and a ring on my finger. My head is pounding, it hurts to sit up and... I can't remember anything. My head hurts so bad." I whispered.
Paya sat beside me, looking into my eyes. "I know a friend who went through something similar. That woman is Impa. She's my grandmother. She's a very kind and gentle woman, who helps anyone in need. We found you and figure you'd fallen. Taken a big hit too. We have a friend who would be more than willing to help you with your memory loss. He's suffered through it as well, and he's the kindest and most genuine man I know. He'll take you around Hyrule with him. It'll be an adventure. Does that sound like something you'd want?" Paya asked softly. I thought for a moment, slowly nodding. "I think I'd like that. What's his name?" I asked. "Link. His name is Link."
-
"She doesn't remember anything. Or anyone." Paya said shakily, stepping out of the house. She slowly broke down into tears in front of Impa. "Grandma, what are we going to do? How are we going to tell Link?" Paya whispered. Impa held her granddaughter, pain flowed through her. She began to cry as well, holding Paya close. "My dear... I don't know." She whispered. "I don't... know."
-
"Linky!" Purah gasped, seeing the man again for the first time. Link stood in front of her, his arm was different and he looked disheveled. She helped him, and before she set him out on the task of the four villages. "Your wife..." She whispered softly. "(Y/n).. there's been an accident." Link snapped his head to Purah.
"What?"

Bookshelves
Hi everyone ! Here is a cute little something to answer this anonymous request for my 6k event : “I am in love with your writing style 💖😍 Can you make ben Barnes one with trope 16?”
Thank you for your request, anon! Hope you like the cute drabble I wrote for it!
****
Pairing: Ben Barnes x reader
Warnings: so much fluff you will get cavities
Summary: Nothing’s better than reorganizing your bookshelves with the love of your life on a crispy autumnal afternoon…
Word count: 1258 (short but sweet!)
Ben Barnes’s Masterlist – Main Masterlist
Tumblr media
The air is crisp and cold and you love it. It’s greyer than the leaves outside, they still wear their orange and red colours. The sky matches the global atmosphere of that afternoon: heavy with upcoming rain, gradients between black and white, smelling of the earth after a storm. You have a warm mug waiting for your lips right by your side, there, on the floor. A warm blanket wrapped around your frame and a fire cracking over cold stones. It’s warm, it’s autumn in all its splendour.
It's a simple afternoon, basked in Eta James’s voice, and it’s easy to forget that tomorrow is just another Monday, that you will have to go to work and get up before dawn and fight the cutting edges of the cold wind against your cheeks. It’s easy to forget that this day will have to end. Especially when Ben’s voice rises from somewhere behind you, a low hum that spreads warmth and reassurance across your heart, makes it skip a few beats in its excitement. He’s humming along the melody, matching the warmth of the saxophone and the quietness of his padding feet against the tiles. When he sits down by your side again, a refill of warm tea in his favourite mug, his hair is dishevelled, wearing an old black hoodie and some sweatpants, along with colourful fuzzy socks.
And you love it. You’ve never found him as stunning as he is now, looking cozy and warm and infinitely intimate in the simplicity of his appearance. Nothing fancy. Nothing done to impress you. You’ve passed this uneasy stage of your relationship a long time ago. You love each other too much now to accept anything from the other but their true self. You admire the curve of his jaw darkened with stubble, and the grace of his eyelashes brushing his pale cheeks, and the enticing beauty spot under his right eye. You’re not even thinking as you reach up to brush his messy dark strands of hair back, out of his face, so you can see him better. He’s smiling, turning towards you as you move your fingers through his hair, just the way he likes it.
“Alright, so… how do we proceed with this?” he asks, something mischievous glinting in his dark eyes, and you can’t supress a smile.
The task at hand is huge: rearranging the bookshelves of two people who adore reading is going to be a mission that will keep you both busy for the whole day. You’re going to love every second of it, no doubt.
“Do you want to reorganize everything by author? Genre? Colour?”
“Author is more practical.”
“Colour is prettier.”
He chuckles, rolling his eyes.
“I will do whatever makes you happy, my darling.”
“Do you want to separate our collections?”
He raises an eyebrow at that.
“We share a last name by now, we’re done compartmentalizing stuff and labelling them as ‘yours’ or ‘mine’. Whenever you’re sick, even your bloody virus becomes mine…”
You laugh at that, playfully pinching his thigh.
“Hey! It’s not my fault if you caught my cold last month! I told you to stop cuddling me, and you didn’t!”
“You looked too miserable. I was feeling too bad for you…”
The admittance is a mix of fondness, shyness and something extra-sweet that your heart can’t handle. It quickens its pace as it overloads.
“Right, so… we’re putting them all together, but how? Because for now, our books are a mess.”
“I vote authors. Because I’m an organised person,” Ben argues, but you pull your tongue at him at the playful teasing in his tone.
“I vote colours, cause it’s more aesthetically pleasing.”
“I vote for whatever makes you happy, cause I’m a clever lad, and I know I need to pick my battles in this relationship…”
“Clever lad, indeed!”
You exchange a laugh and a tender kiss, before starting to empty the shelves, Ben standing up to take the books out and passing them to you so you could organize them in piles.
It takes what looks like forever to empty all the shelves fully. You have mountains of books around you by the time you’re done, and Ben has changed the music to some Louis Armstrong and his trumpet. It has started to rain, and you have to turn on the lights as the sky turns a darker shade of grey. The rhythmic pattern of the rain against the windowpane and the rooftop warms your heart, and draws white clouds over the windows.
Ben is becoming increasingly distracted though. By the time the shelves are empty, he’s restless and keeps on playfully pushing your legs with his feet.
“Stop it!” you smack his foot away when he attacks again, making him giggle in the most adorable way.
“Let’s take a break,” he argues with such an adorable pout, you are this close from yielding, but you don’t, shaking your head.
“Come on, we can cuddle after we’re done with this,” you offer, and you notice the grin he fails to hide.
“In bed?”
“In bed.”
“Can I be little spoon?”
“If you want to, sure.”
This time he gives you a proper grin, bright and full of mischief.
“Oh, that’s a deal! Hurry up!”
You laugh at him as he starts picking piles of books, but he quickly slows down to organize the shelves correctly.
And you love it, it’s so satisfying to reorganize your bookshelves. You add some figurines, some cute pictures of the two of you as decoration to fill up the empty spaces on the shelves. And then it’s finally done, complete.
“I have to admit that the rainbow thingy looks stunning. Highly impractical, but stunning.”
“I think so myself!”
Ben drinks up the cold remnants of his tea, wincing at the nasty taste.
“We did such a good job! All our books finally put together in a pretty way!”
Ben hums in agreement, wrapping his arm around your shoulders to hold you closer, dropping a sweet kiss to your head.
“We did an excellent job!”
That’s when he realizes that his favourite figurine is missing. He looks around frantically, but you merely chuckle as you point towards the coffee table.
“Marty’s over there,” you joke, and he heaves a relieved sigh, walking over to get his Back to the Future figurine, and he places it on a shelf.
“Now, it’s perfect!” he chimes, turning towards you. “And I think we deserve to rest now.”
“You mean… cuddle?”
“Of course, I mean cuddle! You promised I would get cuddles out of this, do not break your word!”
You laugh at him but follow him anyway, teasing him some more while you make your way to your bedroom.
A few minutes later, you are buried under blankets, watching the rain fall on your windows, the touches of red from the trees in the distance, Ben tugged into your side, his head buried in the warmth of your neck as you stroke gently his back.
He heaves a content sigh.
“I love you, darling,” he whispers into your skin. “God… I’m so happy right now. This is the best, isn’t it? Just… doing the simplest of things together. Just… doing nothing. Just… being here, together.”
You hum, kissing his forehead, and you notice then that he has closed his eyes. He’ll soon fall asleep, he often does when you hold him like this. He can’t help it. He feels so peaceful in your arms, safe, untroubled.
“Yeah… yeah, I think that’s the best, indeed…”

hoodie stealer;
words count: 884 pairing: Yeonjun x gn!reader genre: established relationships, fluff
Tumblr media
You shuffle through your closet in an attempt to find something to wear. Today you and your boyfriend Yeonjun are going on a coffee date, so you want to wear something simple and casual that brings you warmth and comfort. You already decided that you definitely wear those blue baggy jeans for the bottom but for the top, you decided between a sweater and hoodie, not just your ordinary hoodie but the one you stole from your boyfriend. Actually, there is more than one, you eventually stole at least four of his hoodies. In your defense, you can say that they’re comfier than your own and all of them felt like Yeonjun’s hugs.
After a few more minutes you finally decide on this black hoodie that is twice bigger as you. All you hope for is that Yeonjun won’t notice that it’s his. You admire your outfit for the date in the mirror smiling at how cute you look in it. Soon your phone dinged notifying you about Yeonjun’s arrival, so you put on the coat and took your keys and phone, and left the apartments.
Yeonjun opened the door of his car for you and took your hand in his immediately. It’s become his habit to hold your hand everywhere you go together and you don’t mind it in the slightest. Both of you arrived at your favorite coffee shop that you went to for your first-ever date (well technically it was a friendly date, but it’s what helps you realize your feelings for each other). This is a really cozy place, it’s not big, but there are plenty of soft couches and tables. You entered the building and immediately felt a nice smell of coffee; some lo-fi music playing in the background. Yeonjun squeezed your hand softly asking for your attention. “The usual?” He asked you, to make sure that you don’t want anything new, you just hummed in response and he sent you to your table.
The boy came back with your orders in his hands and he can see how your eyes lit up when you saw your favorite cheesecake that was served only in this place. He never stops fascinating your reaction to such ordinary things as eating your favorite food or watching clouds on a warm sunny day, but this love for simple daily things is what he loves in you. As you start sipping your coffee you fall into your casual conversation with your boyfriend about the tiring week and the plans for the next one. Everything was fine until Yeonjun gave you a suspicious look. “What?” you asked with a puzzled expression “Is there something wrong with my face or what?” you clearly don’t understand what that look was for. “Nah, you’re fine. It’s just the hoodie…it seems quite familiar. Is it mine?” he squints his eyes looking at the thing carefully. You gulped because you really hoped that he forgets about it and won’t remember that he has one. Not that you are scared of him knowing that you steal his clothes, it's just you are shy about the fact that you didn’t return it back to him. “Uh.. well..maybe?” you begin fidgeting with the rings on your hands. “So that’s where I “lost” my favorite hoodie” Yeonjun chuckled “Is it the only one? Because I feel like I have more missing clothes” he eyed your already red face and cackled “Babe, you don’t need to be shy about it just say that you like my clothes more and that’s it” he took your hand in his smiling softly. “Well maybe I am..but you know it just feels like your hugs when I wear it and make me feel comfy” you pouted and averted your gaze from him. “Cute.” the boy whispered. “What?” you pretend you didn’t hear what he said, because even after all of this time you still feel flustered from his compliments. “I said, you are cute.” Yeonjun brought your hand closer to his lips and left a delicate kiss on your skin. “You know, I guess you look even better in my clothes than I am” you feel how your face flushed and Yeonjun giggled at your reaction. The boy reached for your face across the table and stole a sweet kiss from your lips, just like you stole his hoodies.
Tumblr media
Bonus.
You were in the kitchen when you heard that the door opened, it signaled that Yeonjun had already come for a movie night you planned for today. You went to greet him with a kiss. “I bring us some snacks and drinks, there is your favorite!” he shakes the bag in front of you, you squealed when you saw a pack of your favorite chips. “Go wash your hands and take some spare clothes, it’s on the third shelf. I will prepare everything here so be quick!” you send him off. While you set up the drinks and snacks on the table in your living room, suddenly you hear a scream from your room. “Y/n!! What the hell?? How did you end up stealing seven of my hoodies?” Yeonjun screamed and you almost dropped the pack of snacks from your hands. Oops.. you forgot to tell your boyfriend that accidentally your collection of his clothes increased.

(yandere! spiderman atsv)
🕷
WARNINGS: None
WORD COUNT: 799
So, uh, what do you usually get here? I asked, glancing at the awkward boy sitting across from me, a hint of curiosity in my voice.
Right now, we were nestled in a cozy booth at the café, the warm atmosphere wrapped around us like a comforting blanket.
Uhhh... I’ve never been here before. I wanted to try it with you! Dylan said, his awkward smile barely masking his nervousness as he glanced away, his cheeks flushed bright red.
Park Café—that was the name of the charming little place he chose for our first date, its inviting ambiance filled with the sweet aroma of freshly baked goods.
Who knew that homemade cupcakes, a hastily scrawled confession note, and a blushing, stuttering mess of a boy would lead us to this moment?
It all started when I met you right after school, just as you were trying to leave, only for him to abruptly shove his belongings into your arms and dash off like a madman, nearly tripping over thin air in his haste.
'This is so damn awkward...' I thought, stifling a giggle as I watched him, my heart fluttering with a mix of embarrassment and excitement.
So, is this your first time going on a date? I asked, and his wide eyes snapped up to meet mine, surprise etched across his face.
Psh, me? No way! I’ve been on multiple dates before; I’m just a ladies' man, he declared with a feigned bravado, placing his hands behind his head and leaning back, closing his eyes as if he were completely at ease.
I I looked at him with a goofy grin, trying to conceal my laughter as it bubbled up inside me.
Before I could say anything, though, he quickly sat up straight and opened his eyes wide.
"I didn't mean that in a bad way," he stammered, a hint of panic in his voice. "I still really like you and all; I just meant to say that, like—"
"I get it, Dylan. I know what you mean," I said, cutting him off with a warm smile.
"Yeah, yeah..."
Another awkward silence hung in the air, but it was swiftly interrupted by the worker's voice cutting through the chatter.
"(Y/N) and Dylan! Your food is ready!"
I was about to get up and grab it, but Dylan was already on his feet, striding over to the counter.
I settled back down, turning my gaze to the window, watching people stroll by and cars glide along the street.
Lost in thought, I didn’t notice the spider crawling up my hand until I felt a gentle yet somewhat sharp sting on the back of my palm.
I quickly looked down and spotted the spider. Instinctively, I swatted it away, bewildered by how it had gotten there.
When I looked back up from my hand, I saw Dylan returning to our booth, balancing a bag of food and two drinks.
I smiled and reached for the bag as soon as he sat down, eager to dive into my meal.
------------------------------------
The walk home was nothing short of sweet, yet all too brief.
The crisp air was invigorating, made bearable by the fluffy coat I had donned, along with my cozy boots that kept my feet snug and warm.
Dylan was desperately trying to make small talk, striving to project confidence, but I found myself leading the conversation most of the time.
As we approached the driveway in front of my house, he turned to look at me, his expression earnest.
After a brief moment of silence, he finally spoke, his voice soft but sincere.
"Y'know, you're really beautiful, (Y/N)..." he said, a glimmer of admiration shining in his eyes.
All I could do was gaze back at him and smile, my heart fluttering.
"W-was that to—"
I cut him off for what felt like the hundredth time that day and wrapped my arms around him in a warm hug, making him yelp in shock.
Dylan smelled delightful, like cinnamon and vanilla, probably lingering from the café we had visited.
Snow fell gently around us, creating a picturesque scene as I clung to him, savoring the warm embrace we both clearly enjoyed.
As I finally let go, I held his hand and looked deep into his eyes.
"You're adorable, Dylan," I said, my smile turning into an unintentional teasing grin.
His eyes widened in surprise, and he shook his head vehemently, his face reddening once again.
"NO! I'm a man!" he protested, a pout evident on his lips.
But in his flustered state, he ended up shaking his glasses off his head, watching helplessly as they tumbled into the pristine white snow.
"Sure thing," I said, giggling as he bent over to search for his glasses. "Bye, Dylan!" I called out as I walked up to my door, unlocking it with ease.
If only I had known what awaited me that night...

Blood In Your Hands Part 2
🤍The ChoGo Love Story 🤍
After hiding her identity to a strange man named Choso Kamo, KyiGo finally started to realize how important Choso is becoming in her life. The love and connection they start to share will determine if her life is worth sacrificing for him.
Tumblr media
Art by AliyahArtss on Instagram 🤍
After about a fifteen minute walk, this Cayla finally led me back to her home. I was surprised as I walked in by the home, which was a mix between modern and cozy with an older-style vibe to it. As I walked through the living room area, my eyes seemed to dart around everything. I couldn't help it. I was curious.
After taking our shoes off and placing them by the door, she decided to lead me upstairs to show me her room. Which was a cozy yet somewhat messy space that seemed to reflect her personality. I traced my hands against the curved wallpaper that was placed smoothly on the walls as we walked to the room next to hers. It was a spare room, with a small, yet comfortable looking bed that could fit two people. It was laced with satin black sheets and black curtains that covered the windows. “This is where you'll be sleeping tonight. If that's okay with you..” she said to me in a low tone, as she opened the door wider for me to get a better view.
I walked into the room reviewing every inch of it before I turned to her and nodded quietly. It was a small space, but I had to admit it looked comfortable and warm. A bit of a contrast to the overall dark feel of the house.
As I looked over to her, I was almost shocked by how much trust you were placing in me to be here with you. I was a dangerous person, but only I knew that and even if she noticed that about me, especially by the smell of blood she sniffed on me earlier, it didn't phase her.
“Thank you for trusting me.. I promise.. nothing bad will happen.” I whispered to you as I looked down at the floor, almost in disbelief that you still trusted me like this.
She giggled slightly at my remark. “I didn't think anything bad ‘Would’ happen. I was just being a nice person and helping someone who needed it.”
I nodded as I could feel my expression on my face softening a little. “I have a question for you.. if you don't mind..”
I notice her eyebrow lift as if I didn't ask enough questions already. “Sure.. what is it?”
At this exact moment.. I was hella nervous. I ended up shifting my weight a little bit before speaking.
“If you don't mind, why are you letting me stay with you..? I asked, looking at her with genuine curiosity.
“Like I said before… I saw someone who really needed it. I saw a man who needed somebody. I mean.. what else was I supposed to do?” I could see the look on her face start to turn into pure guilt by what would have happened if she had just left me at the park. That was the last thing I wanted her to feel. But I could feel my eyes widen and my chest flutter at the same time. Even If she didn't spell out exactly what she meant, I caught her drift.
Without saying anything more to her, I stepped forward and gently placed both hands on her cheeks. I then leaned my head forward and slowly brushed my lips against hers. This time I noticed her eyes close, as the kiss was gentle and soft. I wanted to show how appreciative I was of you and this was the only way I could think of doing it.
I opened my eyes to notice hers were still closed, as they then slowly began to open.
She was the most beautiful woman I've ever laid eyes on. I felt like this moment was literally going in slow motion as I pulled my face from her. Her dark skin with a light hue. Her beautiful thick lips that felt like the most gentle pillows you could ever lay your head over. And there was something dark about her aura that drew me into her. I couldn't quite seem to pull myself away, nor did I want to.
I noticed her deep brown eyes flutter as she stared at me in mine. “I'm sorry.. Cayla.. it's just.. I couldn't help myself…” I whispered softly as my thumb started to caress her right cheek. In that split second, she closed her eyes again, leaning in kissing me back softly. I could feel my breath being to hitch in my chest as my eyes stayed open as I returned the kiss.
The kiss was soft and short as she swiftly broke it and looked back up at me. I couldn't help but smile as I pulled back, my gaze and my attention fully on you. I could feel my heart speed up as I let go of your cheeks and stepped back to give you some space. Being cautious not to take this any further than where it was already going.
“What.. was that for?” she whispered, her body language now being more calm as she stood in front of me. Her face was just as red as the shade of lipstick that covered her lips. I could feel my face warm up as you looked directly at me. I had to turn my face away from her to keep my urges from persuading me to go any further.
I quickly crossed my arms and slightly turned my body to the side. “ I.. just …felt that I should show you.. how thankful I am..” I was definitely trying to keep my emotions under control at this point but I could feel that rush that I was having toward you and I still couldn't fully understand why. Why was this happening to me? And with a human? A human woman at that..
“Do you think.. it's strange?”
She then gave me the strangest look as if she wanted to burst out into laughter. I could feel my head leaning back as my lips sneered on the side of my mouth, ready for the disappointment of her answer.
She then let out the cutest laugh, looking me directly in the eyes, placing her hands on her thick hips. “Ha! It is strange. Usually a hand shake would do. You must be drawn to my lips to keep wanting to kiss me the way you do.”
I couldn't help but blush and take another step back again, letting out a small sigh. “I know.. but.. your lips are just so beautiful.” I responded with a slight nervous edge to my voice. Dropping my hands to my sides. At this point, I couldn't keep my emotions under control as I could feel my breathing speed up tremendously.
“Well thank you Choso. I'm going to get some things ready for you to take a shower, okay? You can stay here if you want and make yourself comfortable before I come back.” I nodded as she then finally walked out the room disappearing into the hallway.
I wanted to keep looking at you , but I knew that might be inappropriate. Standing in the room, I turned the light on and closed the bedroom door behind me and sat gently on the bed. I leaned back and took a deep breath as I thought about how beautiful red lips were and the feeling of kissing you. I then threw my head back and looked up at the ceiling.
“What the hell is wrong with me?” I whispered in a low tone to myself. “I'm a death womb, a curse created for the soul purpose of killing and I'm in a woman's house, kissing her… and wanting to do it again..” I then took a deep breath and closed my eyes as I leaned forward, resting my arms over my legs. I opened my eyes and looked down at the floor, really in deep thought about what I was doing.
After a couple minutes passed, you knocked on the door and came in with a few towels and a change of clothes for me. A pair of black sweats and some matching socks. I stood up off the bed as your tiny stature walked over to me. “ Here you go, and you have a shower right over there in the corner. So you know, your own private bathroom.” You said smiling to me. Your smile was contagious. I couldn't help but smile back as I could feel myself blushing, as I received the items out of your hands.
“Thank you. I really appreciate it.” I could feel this feeling of just being drawn to you physically, but in a way I never felt before. You seemed so much more than just a female that wanted to help me at a time of need. You were a goddess and I was nothing more than a lowly cruel cursed spirit.
“Come downstairs when you're finished, okay. I'm fixing us some Pho.” She said walking back towards the door to exit the bedroom. Her fingers wrapping around the door frame.
My eyes widened, I was so confused by the offer of food you were willing to give to me. “You're.. making food for ME?” I asked with an expression that was a mix of gratitude, surprise and disbelief. I could feel my voice becoming shaky as I quickly nodded my head. “I-I'll be right down.”
She let out another small giggle that coughed me to almost stand on my toes and sent shivers down my spine. “Yes.. I am. You're hungry aren't you?” She then gave me the purest smile and walked out the room. “Take your time in the shower. If you need anything.. call me.”
I nodded and smiled widely. I was almost surprised that you were showing so much affection and care for me. I've never had anyone show this much appreciation for me at all in all the years I've been on this earth. “I'll take my time..” I said as I heard you begin to walk down the stairs. I placed the essentials I had in my hands next to me as I sat down on the bed for a minute. I threw myself back on the bed again and looked up at the ceiling thinking about what just happened. I felt like this whole situation was a dream. An almost perfect woman who invited me to stay with her after just meeting me. This had to be better than any romantic fantasy that I ever imagined. But in the back of my mind, there was still something about her that I couldn't put my finger on.
I finally took a deep breath and tried to calm myself down as I stood up from the bed and headed over to the bathroom.
After switching on the water, and ensuring the temperature was just right for me, I undressed, placed my clothes on the floor and entered the shower. As I stepped under the spray, I could feel so much stress just wash away from my body as I closed my eyes, letting the hot water run from head to toe. As I stood there, I began to recall everything that had happened today, how I had ran into her, how she brought me home with her, and the kiss you gave back to me. I could feel my heart begin to speed up again with just the thought of you. The way you were caring for me, the way you offered me to stay in your home.
I couldn't be falling for her… I couldn't be. That just doesn't make any sense…
As Choso was taking a shower upstairs, I decided to go ahead and take care of myself downstairs in the spare bathroom I had near the kitchen.
I went ahead and took a decent hot shower that took about ten minutes. I knew by the time I was out he would probably still be under the spray in the upstairs bathroom. I could tell he went through and was going through a lot at the moment and I didn't want to put more on him that he couldn't handle right now.
Once I exited the shower, I threw on some baggy shirt, no bra and some silk pants that flowed when I walked. Even though I had a stranger in the house with me, I still wanted to be comfortable in my own surroundings. But I couldn't help but wonder if he was doing okay.
I was still lost in thought as the hot water ran over my pale skin. The heat and steam was so comforting to the point where I could feel my muscles loosen back up. It felt like pure heaven, and I honestly didn't want it to end.
“Choso.. are you okay in there?”
I immediately snapped out of my trance, realizing that she was standing outside of the door. “I'm fine.. Im.. just taking my time.” I responded over the running water, hoping you couldn't hear past the lie I just told.
“Oh.. okay… I was just checking on you. I'm still here if you need me.” I could hear her footsteps slowly walk away from the door as I let out a sigh as my breath started to shake.
“Ill.. be out soon.” I responded as I tried to remain as casual as possible.
“Okay.. like I said I'm here if you need anything.” I could see your feet finally disappear from underneath the doorway. I let out a sigh of relief as I heard the door close behind you as you left the room. Your presence has such a calming effect on me that it made me nervous in a good way when you were around me. I turned the shower back on and continued to rinse the remaining suds off my body.
After a few minutes, I finally shut the water off and stepped out of the shower. I managed to finally calm myself down even further while I was bathing which was a surprise even to me. Stepping out, it felt like the world was suddenly in an entirely different light, as if I was able to leave my old world of curses and sorcery and just experience the bliss of this exact moment.
This was a moment that I dreamed of for a long time, that I've always wanted for myself. But who knew that it would take someone else to give it to me in return. Someone I didn't expect to come into my life at the most random of all moments. As a curse, I felt like I didn't deserve this at all. I felt like I wasn't worthy of you.
I didn't deserve you…

Blurbs with Bob
AN: A little snippet of domestic life with Bob. Fluff, fluff and more fluff. @withahappyrefrain for you my darling girl.
Tumblr media
He was an early riser. Always had been. Ever since he was a small kid he had been one to wake up early. Bob liked to wake up with the sun. Today was no different. It had been the first time in a long time that he was home with you. Needless to say, the night before had been eventful.
You and Bob had gotten lost underneath the sheets– like lovers do. He had made you see heaven multiple times– a high feeling that only he could make you reach. Of course, you had done the same for him. A picture of you could only do so much for him. Thankfully, last night had proven just how much you had missed each other. With the bed being so warm thanks to your husband being home, it was a welcomed feeling. It was something that you always cherished since you knew that time with him was limited. Which was a surprise when you turned on your side and didn’t find the warmth that you had so much craved after the past couple of months.
You forgot how long he had been gone for, and you should be used to it by now, but it was always a missing feeling when he wasn’t there. You opened one eye and groaned to yourself, knowing full well exactly where he would be in your home. You see, Robert loved to read the newspaper every morning while the sun rose on the windowsill with a coffee in his hand. He always walked out to the front porch to grab it. Which was exactly where you found him.
The smell of coffee filled your senses as you stretched while quietly walking up to where he was sitting. This was how you always pictured him. This was home. This was the life that you envisioned every day even when he wasn’t around. Robert had a way of making you picture things without feeling afraid for the future. “Mornin’ sweet girl.” Robert said while a soft smile grazed his lips. You twiddled with your wedding ring as you made yourself cozy on his lap with a soft smile on your face.
Bob absentmindedly wrapped his arm around your waist while holding the paper with one hand and the coffee mug with his other. You noticed he wasn’t wearing his lenses today, eyebrows furrowed, “Eyes are tired. I can read it just fine.” He told you, immediately making you wonder how the hell he even knew what you were thinking without having to say anything. Then again, he had known you for a long part of your life. Should it be a surprise? Not really, but he always kept you on your toes without meaning to. You nodded silently and placed a soft kiss to his cheek, enjoying the company he gave you more than anything in the world. When he was around, he complimented you so well. When he wasn’t, you only thought about how he made you feel when he was. It was a cycle, and it only made you miss him more.
Bob leaned his head to where it was resting on the crook of your neck as he continued to read, your heart picking up a pace. He always made you feel this way, especially on quiet mornings like this. “You know I love you right?” Bob mumbled while still looking at the paper, a soft blush creeping up his cheeks. You softly nodded, eyes averted to the newspaper to ignore the feeling it gave you. “Always and forever.” You replied. “Ever mine, ever thine, ever ours.” He promised you.
Bob always knew what to say to make you feel like the only person in the world that belonged to him.
