Cold hands is really starting to get old. The poor things are all cracked and bleeding at this point. Having to repair a broken pipe today didn’t help things.

(Yes, another pipe froze and broke. I discovered it when I was adding more protection to vulnerable pipes ahead of next week’s deep freeze**. Here is hoping my repair doesn’t just burst again.)

If only I could wear gloves, but most things I do take too much dexterity or are too messy. At least for the gloves I have.

Sculpting with my hands like this really isn’t going well. My skin is scratching grooves in the darn sculpey. It’s like having sandpaper fingertips.

Weird isn’t it? My fingers are miserably cold most of the day, hurting, stiff, and fumbly, literally bleeding, and what bugs me most? My sculpting is messed up!

**Southern style deep freeze means any time it doesn’t go above freezing for more than 24hrs. It will be interesting to see how it goes.
