A real life person I know had never heard the expression "put it in my eyeballs" when I said it (or maybe it was "I want to see it with my eyeballs"), and now she is preoccupied by the turn of phrase. She recently said of a new recording that she had heard it with her own earballs, and that tickled me surely. Just now I read the phrase "bear it in mind," which made me think—mindball? Mount it on my mindball bearing?

It depends on our mind. We can put our mind into bad habits and good habits. If we focus regularly. If we do this regularly then bad habits will not have any effect on our mind. Our mind will remain calm and we keep moving forward slowly. Concrete results come out when the mind is balanced. That’s how we get influenced and move on. The things that bother us time and again go from us gradually. We should focus on the mind regularly so that our mind remains calm and gradually we keep moving forward.

İnsanlık tarihi ne kadar eski ise muhtemelen spor dalları da o kadar eski tarihlere dayanmakta, ancak bazıları zaman içerisinde yok olup gitmektedir. Şu anda tüm dünyanın bildiği futbol, basketbol, voleybol, koşu, uzun atlama gibi spor branşlarını saymazsak; tahmin edebileceğiniz üzere birbirinden sıra dışı pek çok yöresel ya da niş olarak tabir edebileceğimiz oyunlar bulunmaktadır. İşte az kişinin bildiği en enteresan spor dalları…
5. Tractor Pulling (Traktör Çekmece)
Traktör çekmece ya da kamyon çekmece isimleri ile bilinen bu spor yarışı genellikle Brezilya, Yeni Zelanda ve Avustralya’da oldukça popülerdir. 11 metre genişlik ve 100 metre uzunluğa sahip olan bir pistte yarışmacılar kullandıkları araçlarda taşıdıkları traktörleri ilk olarak bitiş çizgisine ulaştırmaya çalışmaktadırlar. Organizasyonlarda yarışmacıların kullandıkları araçlar genellikle antika ya da modifiye araçlar olarak seçilmiştir.
4. Swamp Football (Bataklık Futbolu)
İngiltere’de keşfedilen bataklık futbolu, yahut diğer ismi ile çamur futbolu, eskiden çoğunlukla askerler tarafından oynanan bir spor türü olarak bilinse de günümüzde büyük müsabakalara ev sahipliği yapmaktadır. Standart futbol kurallarının fiziksel olarak daha zor şartlarda gerçekleşen versiyonu olarak anlatabileceğimiz oyunun ilk defa 1998 yılında Dünya Kupası düzenlenmiştir.
3. Chess Boxing (Satranç Boksu)
Toplamda 11 raunttan oluşan bu sıra dışı oyunda hem akıl hem de bilek gücü ön plana alınmıştır. Oyuncular 6 raunt satranç, 5 raunt boks karşılaşması yaparlar. Satranç boksu nasıl oynanır, diye düşünüyorsanız oyuncular ilk önce satranç maçı yapıp akabinde boks oynarlar. Bu aynı şekilde beş tur daha devam eder ve en son yeniden bir satranç karşılaşması yapılır. Satranç oyunları dört, boks maçları ise iki dakikadır.
2. Toe Wrestling (Ayak Güreşi)
Ayakları kilitlemek üzerine kurulu olan bu İngiliz oyunu, aslında parmak güreşi ile neredeyse aynıdır. Fakat burada el parmakları değil, ayak parmakları oyunun içerisindedir. Hiçbir süre sınırı olmadan oyuncular maça başlarlar, karşı tarafın ayağını sabit bir hizaya getiren ilk kişi oyunu kazanır.

İki kişilik oynanan bu oyunda yarışmacılar kafalarına beyin sinyallerini toplayan bir bant takarlar ve bir masanın karşısında yüz yüze otururlar. Yarışmacıların odak noktalarını dikkate alarak ileri geri giden bir top masanın ortasına konulur. Oyuna en çok odaklanan oyuncu topu beyin dalgaları ile ileri sürerek rakibini alt eder.
