yeah yeah someone pointing out your ticklish reactions is super rude, we’ve been over this.

but what about them pointing out other involuntary/subconscious reactions to what they do to you. like “awwwww, you’ve got goosebumps!” or “you’re happy stimming, you like that, don’t you?” or “your face is so red now!” or “someone’s cuddly when they’re sleepy~”

like why is it EMBARRASSING why is it so flustering and unfair and rude and sweet and melty and please please please do it at every opportunity

I’m trying to love life again!!! it’s so hard I’ve been stuck in a cycle of bad luck since my breakup in March and I want out!! gonna try and go outside, take some scenery pictures, drink a coffee maybe. It’s been so hot that it’s so easy to just stay inside. I’m going on a beach vacation next week and I’m gonna let my inner kid explode out. catch me with stupid goggles on digging for shells in the sand I don’t even care I’m so excited

One day, about a month ago, I went to my usual grocery store to do some shopping. Thinking, I will buy some Myllyn Paras Makaroni, cause we're out of it and it's the default macaroni that everyone keeps stocked in their pantry. I reach the pasta aisle and am greeted by empty shelves. What? Is there another pandemic that I'm unaware of? Is it the war in Ukraine? No. Turns out that the one machine that churns the macaroni for the whole Finland is broken. And that's how the Finns faced a great macaroni shortage in the summer of 2023.

Will haunting the narrative as both the innocent who was wrongfully destroyed AND the one that got away.

Season 2 Will impacting everything Mike does from that point forward just as much as Will's death impacts everyone.

El thinks of him when she confronts Brenner about the mind flayer, we know things like that. But Mike also thinks of him when he tells El he loves her.

They're all thinking of him. The last time they saw him.

The way he was never the same.

But Mike is thinking about the last time he saw him.

Losing him.

The way they were never the same.

(The way he can't get him back)

Yes, Will's disappearance changed everyone's trajectory forever. But he also changed Mike. He also made Mike's personal and romantic life impossible to return to after him.

He haunts more than just the people who mourn his death.

(The sole purpose of Mike's season 2 separation from El in the first place is so that he can never truly go back after Will)
