When you are finally writing the demise of Ifrit after over a year of writing his atrocities and what he plagued raindrop with is bittersweet in a way.

Whispers of Rain will be coming to an end in a few days, then maybe these two boys can finally heal.

And with that the 2024 year comes to an end.

I wish I could say it was a solid happy year but it honestly had a lot of ups and downs. Between sickness, surgeries, family drama and the overall chaos of the world, it was hard. I even lost a good friend of 15 yrs. (We decided to stop being friends.) which screwed me up for the first four months of the year.

But! There was an equal amount of great things that happened as well. My numbers grew, I finished another fic and I became even more confident in my writing. I made new friends and found new hobbies that I love. My immediate family grew stronger and we all grew wiser. I even got to do my dream trip and go to Disneyland! Something I honestly thought not possible. (Even though I live 6 hours away.)

I’m rambling here. Most importantly I just want to thank you all for being by my side through the last year. Your support has helped me so much and I always look forward to all of your reviews and comments.

So Happy New Year everyone! I hope you have an amazing year. (Despite all the chaos going on.)

I’ll continue to be here and give you all the best fics I can with hopefully the addition of art work to go with some things. (I’ll totally sell my kidney to afford as many commissions as possible.)

An underrated horse fact is that if you have horse that is both A. Not stupid and B. Likes you, it will actively try to prevent you from falling to your doom when you fuck up as a rider. Like actually make an effort not to drop you like a cell phone. I think horses deserve more credit for that.

Unhinged thought of the day. I swear I'm unhinged because of writing too much, can you write too much? (3000 words later in chapter 3 for Whispers of Rain) This may have started from a group chat with @papaslittlesunshine @lenci8 @crooked-hourglass @midnight-moth and a few others.

Rain standing there in a band tee, super tight black jeans, his hair long with loose waves, sunglasses, maybe a hat or beanie on. Dew sees him standing there, looking at himself in the mirror, checking out to make sure he looks good.

The door was ajar, Dew slipped inside, closing the door and flipping the lock, before Rain even registers he was there. Dew drops to his knees between Rain and the mirror. Rain lifts his eyebrow, looking down at Dew, who has reached up to push the too little t-shirt, nuzzling his face into his abs, licking a long strip over the ridges and valleys.

Rain slides his sunglasses down his nose, peering over the rims at Dew, who has rested his hand on his hips, one poised at the front button, looking up, asking for permission.

Rain, pulls the sunglasses off as he grabs Dew's silver hued locks, pulling him closer, growling, "Fucking, take it, baby."

I can't lose this place, Twitter just became too much for me and I had to bail over there, losing some friends that aren't on other platforms.

I am tired of coming on here and being schooled on how I should engage. It's extremely frustrating when that is all you see. I don't want anyone to receive hate obviously, but I also don't want this place to turn into a high school classroom where we can't have adult discussions. I'm too old for this crap. If I do something that offends, seriously, send me a message. I'd be happy to discuss it like adults. And you should be an adult if your following me as I clearly state on my into this an adult blog.

I just want it to be like it used to. Also, If you don't like my work, that's fine, you don't have to. But also don't expect me to reblog your stuff if you can't reciprocate from time to time. Like stop the complaining.

I kind of regret taking those two weeks off at the beginning of the year. If I hadn’t done that then Calm would be finished by now and I’d be preparing to drop Awake, Crosshairs story, when the Season 3 premiere drops. Idk I’m becoming increasingly worried that Crosshairs tale won’t live up to whatever they give us in season 3 and thus it won’t do as well. 😕

I know I’m supposed to write for myself but The Complete series has become a passion project of mine and if there’s no interaction on Crosshairs story I think it’ll actually hit me hard. I know it’s part of the risk of being a content creator for something still ongoing but yeah…just worried I guess.

Sorry for the downer post. Just rambling and in my head right now. No matter what I’m looking forward to season 3 and seeing what happens with our boys. I’ll still be here writing and shouting into the ether.

The Remarried Empress (this was my very first manhwa so it holds a special place for me BUT i gotta admit that the art is leaving a lot to be desired and it's making the story become quite poor imo)

Like Wind on a Dry Branch (I haven't read all chapters yet, but I love the main couple so much and the FL is just so so so strong and I can't WAIT to learn more about her past because there's still so much for us to learn about her)

When Jasy Whistles (can this PLEASE come back from hiatus because i MISS my loves and the way the season ended still kills me whenever I think about it. God I've already reread this story So Many times I can probably recite it by heart. Definitely a TOP TOP TOP favorite. Jasy is my all and Hela is my child)

For My Derelict Favorite (i have so so so much fun reading this one because the MC is completely unhinged and seeing her wreck shit up and cause havoc is my favorite thing)

I Thought My Time Was Up! (i'm not sure I can consider this a favorite yet, but it's definitely worth being mentioned, although I don't like the main couple and would much prefer if she chose the walking red flag)

Ten Ways to Get Dumped by a Tyrant (absolutely hilarious, unhinged MC and I can't wait to see where this goes)

My Lucky Strike (listen. if no one other - other than the MC - punch That Guy soon I'm gonna lose it. But either way. Love it. My poor sad boy is my baby and I want him happy)

Life of a Quack Healer (not quite a favorite yet, but it has a lot of potential and I'm having fun reading it so I shall keep it on the list)

Villain With a Crush (not At All what I was expecting, but it's hilarious so who cares)
