you would bet on it? // min ho x reader
character: min ho
show: xo kitty
tags: frenemies to lovers, gender neutral reader, work place romance
warnings: maybe ooc?? i don't think so but yk, cursing, might have done some heavy self inserting oops
Kitty peaked around a corner, her head darting right and left before she proceeded down an alleyway.
It was just her luck that three boys were standing at a nearby building when they saw her sneaking around. Min ho raised a brow. “What on Earth is she doing?” His words caught Q and Dae’s attention, and they both turned around to watch.
“Maybe she’s just.. Meeting someone?” Dae chuckled nervously, trying to think of a perfectly logical and ethical reason Kitty was sneaking through an alleyway.
Min ho raised a brow. “Or buying drugs. We should follow her.”
Q shook his head, snickering lightly. “You just wanna follow her because you’re nosy.”
Min ho raised his hands in defense. “Sue me– Now let’s go.” He pivoted, going down the same alleway Kitty went down. Dae and Q shared a look before following him.
Kitty walked along for a while, much to two of the boys’ relief, exiting the alley after a short time and heading a way that was much more normal. She was acting oddly suspicious, though.
After some time, she arrived in front of…
A restaurant?
The three boys looked at each other with confused faces before continuing to the entrance.
Kitty walked inside, waiting up at the host stand for a second before you approached her with a grin. “Kitty! Good to see you, you can–” You paused immediately when spotting a very, very amused Min ho.
“You work at a restaurant, seriously?” He chuckled, raising a brow down at you.
Kitty whipped her head around, “Wh– Did you– You followed me?!”
Q and Dae quickly went in upon the realization that Min ho had blown their cover, Dae walking to the other side of Kitty. “We were just worried– You were acting really suspiciously–”
“We thought you could’ve been buying drugs.” Min ho grinned.
Kitty gawked at him. “What– That’s so stupid–”
You cleared your throat, crossing your arms. “What the hell are you guys doing here–” Before you could properly question the boys, you spotted your manager walking over. You blew out an irritated breath before putting on a fake smile. “How many in your party tonight?”
Min ho was loving this way too much. “Oh, just the four of us.” You so desperately wanted to wipe the smug look off of his face, but alas… You did value your job.
“Great!” You spoke through clenched teeth, grabbing four menus from behind you. “You can follow me right this way.” You took them to a section belonging to a server who had just arrived, so it was completely empty. After they sat down and you advertised your company’s rewards system with very red cheeks, your manager finally stopped watching you. Immediately upon their eyes being taken off of you, you exploded. “What the hell are you guys doing here?!”
“Kitty was acting weird. We swear we didn’t know she was coming here.” Q explained, chuckling nervously. He didn’t particularly like the idea of two of his best friends being upset with him over one of Min ho’s dumb ideas.
Min ho leaned back in his seat. “And I’m glad we did. Otherwise, we never would’ve learned of this little secret.” He motioned to your uniform, which caused your cheeks to go redder.
“Well, I’m sorry but not all of us can go through life completely supported by our ‘Mummy’s’.” You mimicked his accent toward the end, huffing. “Some of us actually have to support ourselves.”
Min ho rolled his eyes. “Right, like it’s so hard.”
You gawked at him. “Min ho, you would not survive a customer service job. Honestly, I would bet on it.”
This intrigued him, and he quickly leaned forward in his seat, turning to face you. “Oh, you would bet on it? Really?”
“Mhm. You would not survive in the restaurant industry.”
Min ho hummed. “Well, if you’re so confident, then let’s bet.”
“Fine. If I win?”
“I’ll do anything you ask of me. No objections.”
“Hm.. Okay. And if you win?”
“Same thing. Whatever I ask of you. Zero objections.”
Though you didn’t like the idea of Min ho being able to hold something over your head, you were confident enough that you felt comfortable despite the stakes. After a moment, you spoke. “Fine. Deal.”
Min ho grinned. “Deal. I’m looking forward to winning this bet.”
“In your dreams.” You rolled your eyes at him, backing away to finally allow the server to do their job. On your way out of the section, you caught Kitty who mouthed a “Sorry”. You shook your head, waving your hand at her in dismissal. Really, Kitty had done you a favor. Now you had the chance to one up Min ho.
After further discussion over text, you spoke to your manager about a friend who wanted to come in for an interview. Lucky for you, your shop was severely understaffed due to a mass of server’s quitting, so the manager didn’t hesitate to hire Min ho.
His first day was an absolute wreck.
He spilled a salsa bowl on him, which to anyone else would be a mere inconvenience, but to Min ho, it was the end of the world.
“I just bought these pants!! They're designer!!"
You shrugged. “It’s your own fault. Maybe you shouldn’t be so clumsy.” You were admittedly being hypocritical as you had broken and spilled your fair share of things on especially busy nights where you had to help.
“I hate you.”
You grew very familiar with those 3 words the more you worked with Min ho. His first few weeks, he let everything get to him. The customers, the messes, the way he smelled after work. Restaurant smell. You’d grown accustomed to it, so you hadn’t even considered that to be something that would’ve bothered him.
Much to your surprise though, he was very good at the customer service aspect. In some ways, it made sense. He had a way with acting charming, and he was fluent in Korean, which helped with the locals. He also only kept his complaints to when the two of you would be walking to the dorms together once you got off.
The thing that surprised you most, though, was how much you enjoyed spending time with him. You were used to server’s coming up and talking to you on slower days, the host stand often being a hangout place. You assumed Min ho picked up on it as he had suddenly begun hanging around there, too, when his section was deserted.
He waited for you after work. Even when he had been cut and could’ve gone home earlier. He excused it that you shouldn’t be walking alone at night. You didn’t really care about his motives, but you appreciated it. It was a nice gesture.
After 2 months, he still didn’t quit. You were beginning to worry he’d want to cash in his prize for the bet since it seemed like he had no intentions of losing. What would he make you do? The options were endless. You still had a slight hope that you could win but…
At the same time, you didn’t. You liked working with him more than you thought you would, it would be a little disappointing if he quit.
One night, though, his unwillingness to quit was really proven.
He had scheduled a date a few weeks in advance with some famous girl or something, you weren’t sure. But, he had also forgotten that he had a shift that same night.
He was up by the host stand, talking with you when he felt his phone buzz. He looked around to ensure your manager wasn’t near before he picked up.
“Hello?” After a few seconds his eyes widened. “That was tonight? Oh– I’m so sorry I must’ve forgotten, I–” He was cut off and a few more seconds passed where you heard muffled speaking through the phone. “I’m at work. Wait– Oh.” He said your restaurant’s address before he was hung up on. He blinked for a moment before putting his phone away.
You raised a brow. “What was that?”
He ran a hand through his hair. “I forgot I had a date tonight.”
“Oh. Well, if you need I’m sure one of the other servers could cover for you, I mean, even I can–”
“No!” You paused, blinking up at him. He shook his head. “No. What if we get busy? The dinner rush hasn’t even come in yet! I can’t desert you like that.”
You felt a blush creeping up your neck. He couldn’t desert you like that?
Before you could question his wording, a very pretty girl walked up to the two of you, clearing her throat. “Min ho, are you ready to go?”
The girl rolled her eyes, pulling out a small mirror and lip gloss. “Yeah, and? You don’t need a job, Min ho. We can just leave. It doesn’t matter.”
Min ho looked over. “What? I told you I was at work–”
He shook his head. “But it does. It’s a responsibility.”
The girl glanced at him before putting away her things, grinning. “Responsibility? When did you get so mature? It’s hot.. But seriously. Let’s go.”
Min ho groaned, a hand going over his face. “I already said–”
Before you could stop yourself, the words were already leaving your mouth. “I think he already said he wasn’t going.”
The girl looked at you, scoffing. “And you are?”
Min ho stepped in front of you, crossing his arms. “They’re my coworker and friend. Plus, they’re right. I told you I couldn’t go already.”
The girl clenched her fists before putting her hands on her hips. She stared at the two of you for a second before huffing. “Fine. Fine! I’ll leave. But I’m texting you later to reschedule.” She glared at you, then turned around, heading back out.
You looked between him and her figure, which disappeared into a car.
There’s one thing she said that you agreed with.
This new maturity was hot.
A few hours later, the two of you were walking back to the dorms together. You sighed dramatically. “Y’know what– Fine. Fine!”
He raised a brow. “What are you on about?”
“Fine, you win.” You stopped walking. “You win the bet.”
He stared at you for a second before his brows raised. “Oh. Right. That.”
“Don’t tell me you forgot.”
He shrugged, his hands going to his pockets. “I guess I did. But, hey. I told you I could do it.” His nonchalant expression turned into a grin.
You rolled your eyes. “Well..”
“Well?”
“What do you want? I agreed to do anything you wanted. No objections.”
He thought to himself for a second. “Hm… I’ll need to think on it.” He kept walking.
You gawked at him, whining and following him. “Min ho– That’s not fair! Now I’m gonna have to walk on eggshells!”
“Ooh well.”
The two of you continued your walk, and you continued to pester him to no avail. By the time you got home, Kitty had retreated to her room, so you went to yours. You got ready for bed, flopping down with a hum. You grabbed your phone off your bedside table when you saw a text from Min ho.
min ho: okay, i’ve made up my mind.
min ho: i want..
Min ho: a date.
Min ho: this friday. i’ll pick you up at 6.
Wait.

Okay, so no coffee with Q.
It’s fine, I’ll just head to Jenny’s modeling place after I get coffee.
“Order for *coffee order.*” The barista said.
“Thank you, have a great day!” I said.
“You too.” They said.
I made it to the place, and I was amazed.
There was a lot of things happening at once, but it was AMAZING!!
“Andrea!” Jenny said.
“Hi.”
“I’m going to speak Korean mainly, is there a name you would like be to say when I speak Korean?”
“Ah-ri or Ae ri will do.”
“Do you prefer one?”
“Ah-ri when we are alone, Ae ri with other people.”
“Alright.”
“By the way., call me eonnie”
“Anyway…”
I was zoning out, excited for my new career.
A picture of the modeling.
TIME SKIP: 8 HOURS LATER
“I am so glad you called me before I went home to get ramen.” I said
“You’re welcome, anyway, how was modeling?” Q asked.
“IT WAS AMAZING!” I said excited.
I blabbed on all the amazing stuff that happened and the outfits!
“Wow, that seemed fun!” Q said.
“Boring, as ever.”
“Oof. How was Min ho and Kitty?” I asked.
“Kitty has been okay, she’s always asking if your okay, and she’s so worried. And Min ho, he hasn’t been himself, he’s only been himself if Kitty’s around.” Q said.
“Are you gonna come back to the dorms?”
“Maybe, I just don’t feel comfortable going back yet. Plus Jenny or Ji-ae eonnie’s house is really awesome! I wish you could come over.” I said.
“I wished curfew wasn’t a thing.” Q said.
“You should get back. Curfew is in 30 minutes.” I said.
“All right, see you Monday.” Q said.
KITTY’S POV.
“Q!” I said.
“Where were you?”
“I was out shopping.” He said.
“Couldn’t you have gotten the stuff you needed yesterday when we went shopping.”
“Yea, but I forgot something.”
“Okay..?”
ANDREA’s POV
I went to mini fridge for my skincare to do my skincare.
“Min ho wasn’t himself, weird!” I thought.
I looked on my phone and they posted me!
“I looked good!” I thought.
MIN HO’s POV
I looked on twitter and found a post about Ae-ri Song.
“She looks familiar,” I thought.
“But I can’t wrap my finger who she is.”
“But she is a beauty.”
“I hope we can meet soon.”
ANDREA’s POV
On Sunday, I went back to do a run through on the runway.
“She only got in because her cousin owns the place.” A girl said.
“Right, Binna.” The other girl said.
Binna? Hmm…
When it was Binna’s turn to walk, as she was walking she slipped a bit.
“Deserved!” I thought.
When it was my turn, I walked on the runway with a smile, but I was so nervous.
But I guess I had a confident aura, everyone started clapping.
“Nice job Ae-ri!” Ji-ae said.
“Thanks eonnie!” I said
“As a treat, we are going to get ice cream.”
“Really, thank you!
“Yea, you did a great job!”
At the ice cream shop, I saw Q, and….
KITTY AND MIN HO?
Thank God I had sunglasses and mask on, or I would have been fucked.
“Here’s your ice cream, have a nice day.” The worker said.
“Thanks, you too!” I said.
We went back home to eat.
I am so excited for the trip tomorrow.

𝐝𝐞𝐜𝐤 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐬 | 𝐚𝐥𝐡𝐚𝐢𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐦
series: yoimix christmas event !! (๑ᴖ◡ᴖ๑)
pairing: alhaitham x reader
synopsis: if christmas is the season of giving, then you’re giving up on both alhaitham’s ability to play nice, and your teetering love life.
prompt: decorating the tree + mutual pining + modern au
genre: fluff, e2l
wc: 2.8k
warnings: language, this is just 90% bickering
a/n: holy shit i got derailed from the schedule but i finally decorated the tree with my family (and attempted fixing the busted christmas lights) so merry christmas, my sunshines!! hope you have a lovely time and a wonderful year ahead ❣️
Alhaitham is a man of many talents.
Choosing Christmas ornaments is not one of them. You’re not sure if it’s because he’s aesthetically impaired or if he genuinely never decorated a tree before—but shopping with him has been one hell of a nightmare. It’s a shame he’s been selected as the one to host this year’s Christmas party. Lucky for him, the good samaritan in you decided to help him out. (Even though he told you to not bother and ‘mind your own business’.)
Not because you’re regrettably in love with him.
This year, Fate decided to stitch you a get-along sweater from previous years’ antics because you’re stuck helping him. You couldn’t refuse when Nilou personally called you up to make sure the background for the Instagram posts aren’t downright grotesque (of course, she put it rather nicely but that’s what she meant). You’d take any excuse to see his handsome face and sketch a frown onto it.
“Why the fuck did you buy the yellow ones? They’re hideous!” You hold up the bells, colored a neon yellow with sparkly bits and pieces, and certainly not easy on the eyes. It’s borderline vomit-colored. You never know how he manages to pick the worst thing that has ever befallen your eyes every time.
“They were Buy 6 Get 6 free.” Alhaitham shrugs. How you wish you could knock the nonchalant look off his face.
“You don’t go by deals when you’re decorating!” You groan, exasperated. “Now we have twelve of these ugly motherfuckers.”
“They were also the first I saw in that aisle,” he answers, pinching the bridge of his nose. “I don’t understand why you want to spend hours and hours walking around the department store when we can get the job done in five minutes.”
“Well, you’re doing a very sloppy job, bonehead.”
“At least we could get to the decorating part thanks to my intervention.” He crosses his arms. “Otherwise, we’d still be at the mall.”
“God, you are such a—ugh! Fine, let’s get on with it.”
Alhaitham hums in agreement—of course, he never bothers to spare more words than necessary. That’s an invitation to you, though, to provoke him till you have his full attention. Call it childish but you enjoy the cracks in his solid stances.
Besides, it’s not like he cares.
What you have is not a crush anymore—it’s festered into something more vile, more self-serving, and more fun. It’s not like it was back in college, when you could quarrel to your hearts’ content over assignments and exam scores. You have adult jobs now and seeing each other is much more irregular. You never expected silence to be so full of disquiet.
However, the Christmas reunion every year gets blood rushing to your arteries faster than you let on. There is no greater spectacle for your friends than you and Alhaitham trying to one-up each other over every little festive detail. Last year, it was a squabble over the Christmas music selection, and the year before it was about the photos not turning out quite so well (Refer: Alhaitham’s lack of aesthetic sense), and once it was even about who’s the better driver just because you decided to drive to midnight mass. Let’s not even get started on preparing Christmas dinner. At the very least, though, your friends get to enjoy extravagant gifts from your unspoken gift-giving competition. It’s not like you’ll let a man flash his dollars in your face when you earn just as much, if not more.
This year, obviously, you need to coach him on style.
“Don’t hang that on the tree—oh Jesus, I must personally apologize to you for whatever this heathen is doing to the tree. I promise I had no part in it—”
“Will you quit babbling and try to get shit done?”
You scoff. “I’d rather swallow concrete than let you put that up. I’m trying to save all of our eyes.”
“I highly doubt you have the capability.”
Alhaitham may not be that interested in this but like hell he’d let you do better. That’s the sort of man he is.
“You narcissistic ass…” You mutter, standing on your tiptoes to hang the rest of the little gift boxes.
“My, aren’t you sweeping self-awareness under the rug today?”
“Go fuck yourself, Alhaitham.”
You can feel the smirk on his face even if you don’t look up at him.
To be very honest, you’re quite comfortable with how it is. Any step further, and you’ll be falling and scraping your knees; any larger distance and you’ll be bored out of your mind.
“Not that.”
You pull Alhaitham back by his sweater, somehow uglier than yours when you’ve been winning ugly sweater competitions since age eight. Seriously, whatever Eldritch horror rendition of a llama is on his sweater freaks you out. Apparently his niece stitched it herself so you’ll cut him some slack. It’s rather sweet of him, even.
“If not these, then what?” Alhaitham sighs, holding back the little neon murderers of the Christmas spirit. “Do you want to leave half the tree plain?”
“Obviously not, idiot. I’ll fashion some dice into ornaments. Ooh, maybe I can wrap some fruits in aluminum foil and hang them. I’ll paint.”
“What a nuisance,” he mutters, eyelids lowered. You swear it’s your lips he’s staring at but that can’t be possible.
It must be a trick of the light. You look away, shifting your focus to the leftover fairy lights.
“And- and I have ribbons,” you continue, pretending you never noticed. “There’s also some Kalpalata lotuses we could stick in the branches. That’d be pretty, right?”
“Mhm, yes. Very unique.”
Your eyebrows travel halfway to your hairline. Alhaitham furrows his brows at your stunned silence, unsure of what caused the reaction.
“That’s the first time you’ve complimented me.”
He rolls his eyes. “Don’t get used to it.”
Alhaitham’s serious response to your rivalry used to be your best validation. It’s not like you mind the occasional nice words though.
“Ooh, that makes me crave it more,” you tease, elbowing him as he purposely avoids your gaze.
“You get older but never wiser, do you?” He grumbles.
“Then, O Great Sage, what is your wisdom tonight?”
Alhaitham turns to you sharply, leaning in just enough to make your breath hitch in your throat. You can’t even take a step back for fear of the tree toppling. It seems he’s effectively grounded you. The lack of distance, however, does not fall inside your comfort zone. Is it terrible that you can’t stop staring? Everything about him is so annoyingly attractive, from the high cheekbones to the perfectly carved lips.
“I know you enjoy pushing my buttons,” he speaks by your ear, voice low. “And efficiency is not a key you’ve ever held. But let’s try, hm?”
You’re only cheeky out of habit. “Do you like watching me squirm? Pervert.”
Alhaitham breathes out, clearly accepting his defeat. “It’s five already. Everyone arrives in two hours.”
You shrug. “We’re pretty much done, aren’t we? Unless you want me put in an ice rink and a cocktail bar too, your highness.”
He pinches the bridge of his nose. You’re starting to miss the biting retorts. “Did you check the lights like I asked you to?”
“Oh shit.”
The Christmas lights are at least eight feet long and you have no idea why he has these. This man does not look like he feels any emotion from fairy lights. They’re braided every five light bulbs, and much to your and Alhaitham’s chagrin, they flicker and die midway. They are pretty though, emanatinga. warm golden glow. Very
“God, I could be out partying right now,” you groan. “Why did I sign up for this?”
“That sounds like a plan. Please do me a favor and go partying.” Alhaitham takes the plug out of the socket, sighing. You press your lips into a thin line and snatch the plug, testing out the wiring. It’s just a little puzzle to solve. You’ve dealt with enough home electricals in your life. You can’t say the same for Mr Paper-for-brains.
“Despite your looks, you’re somehow the nerdiest loser I’ve ever met.” You huff, taking out each bulb and placing bits of aluminum foil to ensure the connections.
“What, because I don’t spend my Friday evenings inebriated?”
“Alcohol could do you some good, actually.”
He meets your retort with a sigh and you take it as a victory. You’re not some child throwing a tantrum that willful ignorance of your actions will get you to feel remorse.
“It’s already sunset.” Alhaitham clicks his tongue. “The clock’s ticking and you still haven’t rid your habit of messing around with every little thing you see.”
“I’m not messing around! I just wanna solve it like a puzzle.”
“We could just buy new ones,” he states, a deadpan stare directed at you.
“...Or we could do that.” You turn away, breaking eye contact. “But seriously, don’t you find joy in solving some problems the hard way? Like, you wouldn’t set fire to a puzzle as an attempt to solve it.”
Alhaitham pauses, lips parted slightly but he can’t come up with a retort. He’s probably just amazed at your exceptionally stupid example. Even if that was your attempt to salvage your ego, you’re not entirely lying. You wouldn’t be here right now if you didn’t have the tendency to take longer, more troublesome, and more scenic routes. Your original sin is never letting go.
“Cat got your tongue?” You offer him a sarcastic smile. “I know it’s not the same—”
“The way you think is quite fascinating,” he says quietly. “I don’t understand—I’m drawn to it.”
You swallow your own words. Out of all the possible sentences that could’ve come out of his mouth, that wasn’t the one you were expecting.
“You’re creative,” he hums, tapping his fingers against the couch headrest idly. “And you’re strange.”
“Oh, that’s rich coming from you.”
For the first time this evening, Alhaitham laughs. It’s dry, but it’s a deep sound nonetheless. You can’t take your eyes off him.
“Somehow, I can never understand you,” he responds, leaning back against the wall. “Maybe I never will. You piss me off.”
You let go of the lights and move to sit on the couch arm, looking up at him with a wondrous smile.
“And yet, you always stare at my lips. Are you so eager for the profanities that leave them?”
“I do not.”
A subtle snarl twists his lips.
“Oh? You wanna kiss me so bad it makes you look stupid.”
“Do I now?”
His voice is raised, and he’s no longer leaning against the wall. This is getting exciting. You’d do anything to keep his eyes on you.
“Yes, and you can’t stand it,” you state your theory, even if you don’t believe in it. There are limits to the lengths you’ll go, but you haven’t reached there yet.
Alhaitham knits his brows, clearly soured with the exchange by now with his tense shoulders and deep frown. You quite like that look on him. Especially when he looks at you like that at this proximity. It’s an honor to rile up the Alhaitham, infamous throughout your academic life. You’re not so bad yourself.
You blow a raspberry at him. “Do it, coward. Kiss me.”
“You know what? Fucking gladly.”
Before you can process it, a soft pair of lips push against yours, while his hands hold you by the waist to keep you in place. You give in for a flash of a second, before you pull away with a gasp. That was not good for your heart. However, you’re not the only one in dire conditions.
Alhaitham is a sight to behold. His face is the color of ripe Henna berries—you’re not sure if it’s from the kiss or the fact that he’s still pissed off at you. You reach out to press your palm against his cheek, the gesture softening his gaze ever so slightly.
This time, you tug him in, the kiss hesitant at first before the two of you ease into it. When your noses bump, you hold back a giggle and you can feel him smile against your lips. Oh, you’ve never seen all these hues and shades before. You pull away, and he nearly chases your lips before his ego yanks him back by the collar.
“You liked that, didn’t you?” You smirk.
“Not a chance.”
“Then look me in the eyes.”
Alhaitham meets your gaze with no protest whatsoever, pressing his tongue against the inside of his cheek. Even in defeat, he manages to look like the arrogant bastard he is.
“Lying doesn’t suit you, sweetheart,” you tut.
Alhaitham raises an eyebrow.
“Tell me again, what you said to me at graduation.”
“What did I say?” You feign ignorance. At the time, it seemed like an appropriate response to him holding up his 4.0 over your 3.95. The goal was never just summa cum laude.
“That you hate me,” he answers, pulling you closer and closer till his mouth hovers above yours. “Tell me you hate me and call me a liar once more. I dare you.”
“I hate you,” you breathe against his lips, “I hate you so much.”
“Liar.” The smile against your lips is sweeter than holiday season. In fact, it might even be comparable to your rich chocolate cookies in ecstasy.
You pull away with a teasing smile. “Have you been thinking I hate you for all these years?”
Alhaitham rolls his eyes to the side, completely ignoring your remark.
“You like me, don’t you?” Your smile grows wider, a sudden rush of schoolgirl infatuation filling you.
“How in the ever loving fuck did you come to that conclusion?”
The sarcasm drips like honey off his voice. As if you couldn’t fall any further.
“Maybe you should kiss me again, so I can gather more evidence for a stronger conclusion. I wouldn’t go wrong with my hypothesis.” You lean in, grinning as brightly as the stars in the sky.
He hums, fighting back a smile. “Well, I do support the scientific method.”
“Okay, so whatever feud you’re having, I’m on (name)’s side—oh.”
Kaveh freezes at the doorway. Surely, the one image he never would’ve conjured up in his head was that of you sitting on the floor between Alhaitham’s legs, his arms wrapped around your waist as you sort through your Christmas cards. And the two of you are laughing. Is that not cause for concern?
“You know, when people are built like a coconut tree, they shouldn’t be standing in front of doors—oh.”
Cyno is your next victim, and his jaw drops less conspicuously than Kaveh’s does but it surprises him nonetheless. He swears on his gold star espeon card that he’d sooner expect Alhaitham to drop dead than admit his crush on you. No, even if he got over his emotional constipation, Cyno didn’t think you’d be at peace without pressing something to his throat. It truly is a Christmas miracle.
“Boys, can we not clog the doorway?” Dehya groans. “I get that this is the first time you knuckleheads have ever sensed emotion, but we saw this coming a mile away.”
“Oh, don’t be mean, Dehya,” Dunyarzad pokes Dehya’s side, causing the latter to giggle and wrap her arm around Dunyarzad’s waist. “Besides, you went into shock too when I suggested they might have a thing for each other.”
Dehya opens her mouth and closes it again. “You got me there.”
“Alright now, everyone,” Nilou stands on her tiptoes to peek over Kaveh and Dehya’s shoulders. “I set them up and I can’t see the fruit of my efforts.”
“You did what?!” You yell, getting pulled down by Alhaitham when you try to get up. Shooting him a glare, you get comfortable anyway.
“Oh, now you hear me.”
You try your best to not look offended. Alhaitham tilts his head to the side, an eyebrow raised in curiosity towards the information Nilou just dropped. There’s no schemes without him.
“You just needed an excuse and I knew—”
“Nilou, please stop talking, I’ll buy you more shiba inu figurines.”
“No bribe can—”
“Broadway tickets.”
Nilou makes a gesture of zipping her lips. “My lips are sealed, your highness.”
Alhaitham sighs, resting his chin on your shoulder. “You do know that I’m aware of your advances? You’re not very subtle.”
Your jaw drops, offended. “I thought I was being sexy and flirty and mysterious.”
“You were literally none of those. All you did was drive me up a wall.”
“But did that work?”
“Yes.”
Kaveh makes a gagging sound. “If you guys start making out during Nightmare before Christmas, I will vomit all over you.”
“Did you pay rent or are you going to dirty someone else’s living room?” Alhaitham asks.
Kaveh looks away, whistling a note. It elicits a wave of laughter, and like dominoes, Christmas eve is set into motion. The presents line the base of the tree, the lights have been dimmed till only the fairy lights shine, and Alhaitham has started the hallmark movie after much grumbling.
Maybe the Christmas spirit has some meaning after all; and you could debate this with your boyfriend, but it is the most wonderful time of the year to celebrate anniversaries.

02. The note under your desk | Minho (xo kitty)
”it all started with a note under her desk.”

(Credits to owner for the gif.)
Thanks for reading <3 @myahwritesss @sparkysparking101 @suzzie63 @upsidedownjill @lovely-hao @lupinette @seoli-16 @rory-cakes @sir-simp @rubes26 @chaerins-world @sadiebrookeholt @sincerely-aaronette @instabull @itsnotino
——— MASTERLIST | 02. Kind Regards, N | NEXT ———
Minho bunches up the note in his hand and pounds it into the wall. The paper bounces easily and falls, crumpled, onto the floor, which does nothing to ease the kind of anger bubbling up through his chest.
What nerve, he thinks as his eyes see all red, who the fuck thinks they can mess with him and get away with it?
He’d almost laughed as he read the words once. Again, and again. Until the reality had kicked him in the balls and he came to the conclusion that whoever this person is, they’re messing with him.
Dear Minho,
First off, that’s such a patronizing way to ask for help. Not even a please? Who the hell do you think you are? What you need help with are your manners, bro. Oh and I’m not Kimberley and I will definitely not pass on your message. Maybe you can try asking again — nicely, and then maybe I’ll consider telling her about you.
Also, Kimberley doesn’t sit at this desk. Maybe you should’ve known that first before even making a move. Kind regards,
N <3
A stranger.
A stranger had read his note. And this stranger might know exactly who Minho is. Great.
Now his entire reputation is at stake because of this stupid idiot who thinks it’s fun to pass on messages like love letters.
A knock sounds on his door and before he can ask, Q’s head pops in, “hey dude. You got a minute?”
“That depends,” Minho sighs and leans back into his plush bean bag, “I’m currently in the middle of a crisis.”
“What happened?” Q frowns, closing the door behind him before settling down on the carpet opposite.
Minho opens his mouth. Closes it. Regards Q with narrowed eyes. Then, a scowl forms onto his face.
Q blinks, “what? What did I do?”
“If I tell you, you cannot tell anyone.”
“Uh—sure, okay.”
“Swear it on your mother’s head.”
“Wha—Minho, come on. Just tell me—“
“Swear it.”
“Okay okay fine,” Q rolls his eyes, “I swear on my mother’s head. Now tell me.”
Minho recaps everything from the moment he’s dropped the note underneath the said desk to the episode that occurred just a few minutes prior.
Q cannot help himself but laugh, covering his mouth in an attempt to calm himself down as the other boy’s face twists into a ferocious glare that would’ve sent anyone running home, “oh my god,” Q says, trying to hide his chuckle, “this—you—oh my god, this person’s hilarious!”
“It’s not funny!” Minho rages, hands going up to grapple through his locks, “what am I supposed to do now?!”
“Well, assuming that it’s a girl from the handwriting,” Q shoots him a pointed look as he settles more comfortably against the couch, “I’d say you should write back.”
“And say what? That it was a mistake?” Minho rolls his eyes.
“No, but if she’s sitting in the front row, maybe she has all the resources you need. Ever thought of that?”
At that, Minho straightens and looks at his best friend as if a lightbulb has struck, “you think she’s smart?”
“I believe so. Why else would she be in the front row?” Q shrugs.
“Q,” Minho’s eyes fly up to his as a smile breaks across his face, “I think you’re a genius.”
“I know,” Q grins, “thank me later.”

Nina is half asleep when her fingers curl over the note under her desk.
It hadn’t been her intention to find it, but somehow it seems as though fate enjoys playing tricks on her. Huddling behind her stack of books and quickly ripping it open under her desk, Nina quickly places the paper over her copybook, slouching over her desk as though in deep thought when in truth she’s reading over the words with barely concealed amusement.
Dear N,
Well well well, nice to meet you. I guess I should apologize for my “patronizing” behaviour, as you said, but maybe you should just tone it down a little. Juuuust a little. Violence was never the answer, honey.
Anyway, since you’re the one who received my beautifully crafted handwritten letter, maybe you’d like to help me out with my horrible grades.
Pretty please? I’m asking nicely this time ;)
Yours sincerely,
Minho.
P.S: you know my name but I don’t know yours. Care to share?
Nina shouldn’t answer. She shouldn’t get involved with such a boy who seems to suck at flirting and who’s desperate enough to do it for the grades. Yet, his half-baked attempts only cause an amused smile to slowly crawl up her lips, one that she quickly hides when Professor Chung turns to ask the class a question.
Hiding behind a curtain of hair and leaning over her desk, Nina takes out a fresh piece of paper, and starts to write.
———
Dear Minho,
who even calls anyone “honey” these days? I think you need a real-life update. In any case, why don’t you ask the library for a tutor to help you out? I’m sure they’ll have much better resources than a random stranger from lecture.
Try it out, it might work wonders for you. Who knows, maybe you could use your flirting skills then ;)
Sincerely, N.
P.S: the first letter of my last name is S. That’s all I can give you for now.
———
Dear N.S.
I finally have some initials to call you by. Nice, although, a name would’ve sufficed. I’ve tried the library, horrible staff and the tutors are just there because they want a piece of me. What can I say? I’m a horribly enchanting man who cannot go anywhere in peace. So please, help me?
Kindly,
Minho
———
Dear Minho,
bold of you to assume that they’re enchanted by you.
I don’t know, should I help you? You’re not being very convincing. Then again, what do I know? I’m just some girl whose notes you need in order to get good grades right? Reality check, my man. Maybe you need to realize the world does not revolve around you :)
Kind regards,
N.S.
———
Dear N.S,
I’ll just say it’s still not fair you know my name and I don’t know yours, so I’m holding that against you. You keep insulting me but you also keep answering my notes. Either you’re a masochist and enjoy watching me suffer or you’re just a little bit entertained. I know I am even though I’m still struggling with Psychology.
Kindly, Minho.
———
The water is icy cold.
Minho’s limbs are freezing by the time he’s twenty laps in, the heat slowly spreading from his heart to the rest of his muscles as he keeps moving through the water as easily as a fish in the sea. This is where he feels the most alive, the most content.
Underneath the surface, everything is dulled out. He can only hear himself, the echo of sounds and voices drowned out by the alienated air pulsing through Minho’s ears.
Breaking through the water with a shaky breath, he quickly swims towards the edge and grabs on. On the other side are toddlers with their swimming instructors, voices loud and bouncing off the walls of the indoor-heated pool.
Minho grabs onto his cap, tugs it off his head before shaking out his hair. Part of him feels guilty for not doing more but he can’t find it in himself to continue for today.
“Hey if it isn’t Minho!”
The said man turns to find one of his swim mates, Jung Kiseok, striding towards him with purpose. He lifts a hand in greeting, “hey man.”
“Long time no see!” Kiseok claps him on the back before jumping into the water, the edges sloshing as he does so, “what have you been up to lately? You don’t seem to be around much.”
“Yeah I’ve been trying to save my grades,” Minho grimaces.
Kiseok groans sympathetically, “Oh I know how that feels. You found a tutor yet?”
“I don’t like the library tutors,” Minho sniffs, causing his friend to laugh, “why don’t you enter a study group? Wouldn’t it be easier?”
“Study group? How’d you find those?”
“Just go on the School Portal, man. They’re everywhere, for every subject.”
Minho straightens at that, eyes wide with hope, “how am I only finding this out now?”
“Shit, you really haven’t been studying have you?” Kiseok laughs even harder, “I’ll send you the link to one if you want. I know the TA in charge well.”
“That would be great, thanks.”
it isn’t until that night that Minho opens up the letter found underneath the desk from his Psychology class this morning. He finds that, ironically, he looks forward to having snippets of conversation with that infamous N.S. It somehow makes his day a little better, a little brighter. He wishes he can know what she looks like, at least.
Muscles aching and hair still wet from his shower, the said young man settles onto his couch with a heavy, tired sigh, before finally giving in and opening up the letter.
Dear Minho, okay. You got me. I’m actually really entertained by our conversation so yes, caught me red-handed. I wouldn’t have imagined that you would answer my note after the first time. Question: why did you take Psych if you’re struggling? I’m sure there must be another elective you can take.
Anyway, I’ll play nice and forward you the latest notes. Just give me your email.
Kindly, N.S.
“Yes,” Minho mutters to himself, inwardly punching the air as he quickly scribbles down his response and folds it as small as he can get it to go.
His phone suddenly vibrates. The young man grabs hold, presses down onto the call button, before placing it by his ear. “Minho, how are you?” “Eomma,” he switches to Korean, the language flowing smoothly through his tongue, “I’m good. How are you?”
“You’ve been very quiet lately. How’s your swimming going?”
“it’s alright,” he lounges back onto the couch, “same old.” “I hope you’re not skipping swimming practice.” On the contrary, it’s school he’s skipping out on. Not that she needs to know that.
“No Eomma, everything’s fine okay? You don’t have to worry.”
“and your grades?”
He clenches his teeth, “my grades are fine.”
Another lie. It’s the only thing that will keep his mother’s nose out of his business. They talk for a few more minutes before his mom is called back to work, and Minho cuts off, head resting back against his couch as another exhale escapes his lips. Lying to his mother had never been in his plans, but he finds it’s easier to do that rather than having her on his back about every little single thing. He’s surprised she has even let him be on his own for more than one day, considering that she used to pester and harrass him about being on time and being perfect at everything he did.
It was tiring. And Minho had grown sick of it.
His phone pings once more. Minho looks down to find Kiseok’s message with a link tot the Study group he’d been bragging about earlier.
Maybe that will help him out.
————
“You going to study group later?”
Nina looks up from her book. It had been one of those rare occasions where she could actually rest after this hectic week that had just passed —what with her midterms coming up, her assignments, and having to find a part-time job to finance her living situation.
It’s also a very rare occasion that her roommate actually reaches out to talk to her like she actually exists. It’s so surprising that for a minute, Nina just looks at her in surprise without registering anything she has said.
“What?” Nina asks blankly.
Her roommate — her name is Karen Liu and she’s a cheerleader —cocks her head at her, long hair streaming down her left shoulder, “you okay?” She asks, “you seem a bit out of it lately.”
It’s not the first time that Karen tries engaging with her and for that, Nina feels grateful. But the thing is, Nina feels so…blank in comparison. Karen’s life is filled with colour and pops of bright vibrancy that seems to jump out of the page at you. She’s someone bright, bubbly, funny, everything that anyone’s ever wanted to be. She’s popular amongst the boys and the girls, so can Nina face her without ever feeling like she’s never enough?
So Nina avoids her. Like the plague. And despite Karen’s greatest attempts at reaching out to her, the latter would rather have it that way.
Nina isn’t someone ready to be thrust in the spotlight. She never was.
“Uh yeah,” she stutters out a reply upon realizing that Karen had been waiting all this time, “I’m good, just busy. And yeah—I’m coming to the study group later.”
A smile so bright fills Karen’s face, “great!” She chirps before slinging her tote bag over her shoulder, “I’ll see you then!”
Great. Now Nina has no other choice than to show up now that she’s made a promise she can’t avoid. And it’s ironic really, considering that she’d been planning to have a quiet evening to herself, listening to her favorite music and watching the latest videos about marine life; more specifically about orcas.
The afternoon goes by quicker than she wants it to and before she knows it, she’s walking straight into the library at five on the dot as the sun slowly descends in the horizon and glazes everything in summery gold despite the fact that it’s freezing outside. Winter is coming. Nina can feel it in her bones.
There are already a few people there and she quickly takes a seat next to a guy she hasn’t seen before. Karen sends her a subtle wave from across the table and she waves back shyly, before focusing on gathering her books from her bag.
“Right, thanks for coming everyone,I’ll just do a quick intro for the new faces around here,” the TA in charge stands and leans his palms against the table, making sure to get a glimpse of every face, “my name’s Alex and I’ll be in charge of the Psychology study group. Make sure you come every week because we don’t normally linger too much on each topic. These sessions are here to help you get a better understanding, not to actually revise any material.”
Nina nods along with everyone else, already knowing all this. She clicks and unclicks her pen out of habit.
“Today we’ll be reviewing on the different mental disorders. I’ll be passing out study sheets and key points to take note of for each,” Alex starts handing around some papers as he speaks, “feel free to ask any questions. Before we begin with the questions, have a quick-read though and discuss with the partner on your left.”
Nina turns instinctively towards a young man who seems unfamiliar, a new addition to the study group probably. He’s nicely dressed, with a crisp white polo and a beige cardigan thrown over him, pretty features framed by stylish locks.
“Hi,” his voice is deeper than she’d imagined, “my name’s Minho Song, I’m new to this study group thing and I pretty much hate Psychology. I’m a Sports Science major.”
He reaches a hand out and she shakes it, “hi, I’m—“
Wait.
Minho?
Could it be—
Her Minho? The guy with whom she’d been exchanging messages with all this time?
No way. No. The world can’t be that harsh to punish her like that.
“I’m—uh—“ Nina’s mind blanks out. Shit. She needs a new name, “my name’s Na—Nana.”
His brow dips in a furrow and Nina quickly realizes that he knows her initials, “I mean—yeah Nana Liu! Yeah. That’s my name.” She laughs to hide her nervousness, “nice to meet you.”
He seems amused, at least, “you from here?”
“No I moved here after high school,” good. It doesn’t seem like he’s suspicious in the slightest, “what gave me away?”
“Your accent. You speak English with an accent I can’t place.”
“Ah yes, well—it’s not my mother tongue.”
“What is it then?”
“I speak French, normally.”
“French,” his eyebrows rise up, “interesting. How come you ended up in Korea?”
She shrugs while trying to calm down the wild beating in her heart, “I thought it’d be cool to live here.”
“And how is that turning out for you?”
“Uhm,” quite horrible but she can’t say that, especially not to a native Korean guy whom she just literally met a few minutes ago. Although, if this is the same guy from the notes, then —
But what’s the chance of having two Minho’s in the same course as her and who are majoring in Sports Science?
She tries to probe a bit further, “so…sports science huh?”
Thankfully, Minho provides her an immediate answer to her silent question, “I’m a swimming athlete. Got a scholarship to study here.”
“Ah. That’s cool.”
Shit. So she’s right. Her gut feeling never lies.
“And you?”
“I’m a marine biology major.”
“Guess we have one thing in common then.”
“Oh,” she cocks her head at him, “which is?”
“We both enjoy the sea, or the idea of it, anyway.”
“Okay guys,” Alex is quick to interrupt, “let’s focus on the work that needs to be done and we can get to know each other later, right?”
That shuts her right up, bringing back the reminder that this Minho is the same guy who’s trying to get her notes. Pompous, self-centered and insolent….somehow, this Minho standing before her doesn’t seem to add up to that same guy.
Nina manages to focus on the task at hand, pushing back her own personal feelings in order to get this assignment out of the way. Together, they discuss the ways in which Bulima and Anorexia are different and she really tries not put her focus elsewhere, stuffs it at the back of her mind like a secret she wishes to forget.
It's a long hour of work before Alex finally calls for a discussion. Then, he summarizes the content for the night before he lets them off, "remember," he calls out, "don't study by heart. Study first to understand."
"You done for the night?" Minho asks as they are packing up their bags.
Nina glances at him in surprise, "uh yeah. My classes are over. You?"
"I have this god awful swim practice I gotta get to," he tugs at his bangs in a manner so childlike she can't help but find endearing.
"Somehow, I'm very glad not to be in your place right now."
"That's because you haven't seen me swim."
Nina laughs, "I like the ocean, I'm not a big fan of swimming."
"Why not?"
"Well, nobody ever taught me how." She flushes upom realizing how sad that sounds, "well, it's not like an essential skill--"
"Uh I'm pretty convinced it's essential," he smirks at her.
"You're just biased because you're a literal mer-man."
"Merman?" Minho chortles, "oh god, haven't heard that one before."
it is only then that she realizes they're the only two left in the study room. She looks around, amazed that she had been so caught up in conversation that she'd barely heard any of the other students leave.
Minho seems to think so too as he slings his backpack over his shoulder, "let's get out of here."
"Do you like it?" Nina asks as they exit the library. The wind has picked up its pace, a lot colder as it whips across her face.
Minho shoots her a glance, "like what?"
"Swimming. Do you like it?"
There's a small pause. "I do."
"How...how does it feel? To swim?"
He takes his time to answer, “it feels…peaceful.” He looks at her then, eyes softening, “as if you’re the only one left in the world.”
Nina wonders how that feels like. And how, in context, is it defined as peaceful. Because she’s been alone and she feels like she’s alone despite being surrounded. And yet, peaceful is not the word that comes to mind.
“That sounds nice,” she murmurs absentmindedly, before spotting the gymnasium in the distance, “well, I guess that’s your stop.”
“Yeah,” Minho’s face creases into a soft smile, “I guess I’ll see you next study session. Don’t miss me too much.”
Nina chortles at that, “dream on, merman.”

Y'all, I find the reception of XO, Kitty so dissapointing.
TL; DR: The underlying homophobia/biphobia/lesbophobia/misoginy towards Yuri as potential and viable endgame which I don't think would have happened if she were yet another hot guy.
The straight-baiting marketing of this show was absolutely genius and I loved that Jenny Han, who writes the straightest central romances to ever romance (To All the Boys I've Loved Before, The Summer I Turned Pretty), actually initiated a series with such visibly queer storylines and then literally jumped into this sort-of-interracial, sapphic romance centered around a bi+ character. I could see Han trying to be more inclusive in her past on-screen works, but this was incredible.
No you don't understand. There was this point midway through the show where I thought I was in a fever dream and watching wishful fanmade content because I couldn't believe an IRL Netflix show could actually give us this. My mind was blown.
So you'll understand that I was fully bamboozled to see that social media is swamped with Min-ho fangirls pretending like Yuri doesn't even exist. I love Min-ho too, but am I the only one who also saw so many signs that point to a future Yuri x Kitty?
First, for the narrative satisfaction of their moms being best friends in the past!
... and to complete Kitty's coming of age! Kitty, growing up in the cisheteronormative Song-Covey household, made the oversight of initially operating under the assumption that she exclusively likes boys and that she has mastered the art of relationships. That's already been debunked partway by her breakup with her first boyfriend who was supposed to be endgame, and is only going to be sealed further if she ends up with a girl in a long-term relationship. (And no, of course she doesn't have to "end up" with a girl for her queer identity to be valid, but I think it just makes the most narrative sense to have that unfold in the story as her worldview alters.)
Here I present to you: my pet peeves in the XO, Kitty fandom
hyping up parallels between Peter x LJ and Minho x Kitty scenes claiming that this means Minho x Kitty may be endgame. They literally have to reach and dig for those because the most parallels are between Peter x LJ and Yuri x Kitty, right from the scene that they bumped into each other! Kitty has also shown zero romantic interest in Minho so far, as opposed to her very keen interest in Yuri.
People finally addressing the elephant in the room like "Ugh, Yuri is probably going to be endgame. 🙄 I want Minho instead!!" like it's such a disappointing or borderline gross outcome. Yuri is a much more intense enemies-to-lovers character than Minho. She is beautiful, kind, and fun with a little bit of bite, everything that Minho is plus Kitty is falling for her hard.
Being real here—If you think Yuri is a boring love interest or kind of a b*tch while Minho is simply a fun old enemies-to-lovers character, I am begging you to check your biases. You, a straight woman, may only see hostile fictional women as competitiion and hostile fictional men as ... well, kinda hot. However, Kitty is bi+ and she could see them both as viable romantic interests, equally. Yes, Yuri has done more malicious things than Minho, but then again she has had a harder time this academic year than Minho. You are obviously still allowed to like Minho better, as long as you're not dismissing the struggles of and flattening a strong female character. Misoginy and homophobia make an ugly combo, y'all. Trust me, you don't want any part in that.
(Additional unpopular opinion: I'm going to get crucified for this but I genuinely think Kitty is too boring for Minho in the same way that Dae was too boring for Kitty. He seems to be into her only from the Halo Effect. Minho is my child and I squeal whenever he's on screen and I hope to see him finding someone actually fun!)
Saying that Kitty’s crush on Yuri was just a token plot point with no real basis or depth. While there is some unrealistic family drama in the show, it's all still credible. Fiction is supposed to bring in imaginative elements and try to keep things grounded. Regardless, I'm never going to be the person who says that a wild and shocking bi- or gay-awakening is unrealistic. As a queer person, let me tell you that it is just as wild and confusinh for us IRL.
Besides, many cishet people actually do not care if (or is hateful when) the MC is bi, that I doubt how much it “helps” with marketing. (That's why queerbaiting exists, folks.) Also, have you seen Kitty in TATBILB? That's a bi preteen right there if I've ever seen one.
"Stop trying to invalidate other people's ships!" I will say this once: I don't care if you ship Kitty with Min-ho, or Dae, or anyone else that's not Yuri. I DON'T CARE! Frankly, good for you because straight ships have better luck out there anyway, ya know? I am simply begging you to not reduce a queer person's nuanced concerns about dismissal of sapphic fictional characters to petty fandom arguments. Read the room, guys. Please.
This is such a crucial show to many of us. I just want y'all to understand that this is just a little bigger than your celebrity crush on a hot guy whose character you're rooting for. We never, ever get contemporary slice-of-life romcom sapphic rep (and Netflix is notorious for cancelling sapphic shows, too). Please don't be dismissive of a perfectly good possible ending! We want to give Netflix every reason to renew this show, and give Han every reason to allow Kitty to flourish just the way she plans to! (This is me begging y'all to not influence the writers into swerving last-minute towards a sloppy Minho endgame, though I do trust her better than that.)
I hope that Netflix renews the show, even if it's through the excitement of straight people in denial LMAO. And then I hope it treats us with a glorious sapphic ending.*
*(Aaaand I can already imagine the cishet women in the audience complaining online about what a terrible person Kitty is for leading Min-ho on and then dumping him, and how she and Yuri are both awful and totally deserve each other. Music to my ears.)

Spare Me, Love
Pairing: Lee Know x M!Reader
Words: Just a quick something :)
R18+?: Semi, Minors DNI
—
“Your hands are cold.”
“Why are you telling me the obvious?”
“Maybe you couldn’t feel them?”
Minho sighed and gently slipped his hand out of yours to which you immediately caught and put back.
He turned to the side to hide a small smile, it’s always been the small things for him.
“Look at your small hands, they lock perfectly with mine who woulda thought. Aren’t you happy that your hands are warm now?”
“Be quiet your disturbing the water.”
You blankly stared at the back of his head with his gaze fixated on the faucet.
Right.
You guys were bathing and discussing what goes on with life when your souls are apart.
It’s rare nowadays to have him so close and pure like this, most days he’s too exhausted to bathe and often falls asleep on the edge of the bed.
Minho had been gone for a couple of months due to promotion, of course it was lonely but what can you do?
You love him to death, your heart yearns for him when he leaves but it also understands that he’ll return when he can.
You knew it would be difficult to be consistent with him and his schedule but love conquers all.
Thinking about Minho’s hard days at work, you were suddenly hit with overwhelming affection for the smaller male.
With no hesitation you let the words you were thinking slip out.
“I wish you realized how beautiful and loved you are.”
Minho quickly whips his head back to face you, his mouth slightly agape.
“Do you have a death wish?”
Your look of confusion quickly bubbled to a laughing fit, Minho didn’t look an ounce pleased with you but little did he know these were one of many traits that you absolutely adored about him.
“You gonna love me to death?”
“The only thing you’re gonna love is the cold hard ground.”
Your eyes softened the more you stared at the petite male, the man in-front of you has completely flipped your world inside out and made you his loyal accomplice.
“Has anyone told you that you have pretty kissable lips Minnie?”
“Yes.”
You instantly frowned at his response and now it was his turn to laugh at your expressions, you looked away and sighed.
He rolled his eyes and quickly landed a peck on your lips.
“Though you’re the only one who can actually get a taste.”
To say you were swooned right then and there was an understatement.
You were in love.
The way he easily makes your heart thump with just simple gestures.
How he picks on you but immediately makes it up with a small kiss on the temple.
He’ll go on and on about the dish you want to eat and says it’s a waste of time but yet you’ll come home to it ready on your guy’s dinner table.
Whenever you guys get into a disagreement, he’ll approach you a couple hours later with all three cats and claim they missed you, not him.
How could you not fall for Lee Min Ho?
And here you are, dating him for an on-going three years and more.
Maybe it was destined that the black cat Minho was bound to meet you, the radiating golden retriever.
With that thought concluded, you leaned in and sealed the mist between his lips and yours.
He’ll be shy at first and freeze but eventually his hands grasp themselves on your bare chest, deepening the kiss to taste the sweet bit of you more.
Your hand travels down to his thighs, giving them a squeeze signaling that he’s not going anywhere anytime soon.
Breathless, you guys part with a string of saliva and flushed faces.
You immediately dove for his neck, smothering it in millions of loving, hungry and sweet suckles.
His pants and pleads are setting off every switch in your body, it’s almost scary how hungry you are for a taste of him.
Minho can sense that you’re done with the foreplay and when your lidded eyes meet his to ask he answers by positioning himself on your lap.
The once flushed and pleading male is now on-top of you with a devious smirk.
Tonight’s going to be long.
“Spare me, love.”

a/n: heyyooo!! it’s been a while since i’ve last updated AND seen you guys. How was everyone been?? I missed all of you and welcome to the new comers! To celebrate my return i decided to write a little treat for Lee Know stans, and to of course update for y’all again. It’s my first time making something suggestive so if it seems unrealistic or just plain out dumb i’m sorry they’ll be better in the future!!

Teaser 01:
Even if he didn’t have the time to drag you through no less than at least five orgasms, he’d simply keep the mood going until he could finally have his way with you.
