there is something so hilarious to me about the way peter kavinsky

lets lara jean kiss him completely out of the blue

seeks out her company (see: milkshakes in the diner)

suggests the whole fake dating thing unprompted

goes out of his way for her (see: yakult)

suggests he writers her notes every day and then writes her *actual* notes instead of just pretending/writing something generic

continually finds excuses to keep the scheme going (ski trip)

increases the stakes by involving other people - getting to know her family and introducing her to his own, as well as his friends

goes along with her contract and her various requirements to the scheme, even if they don't particularly serve him (e.g. no kissing rule)

and lara jean still thinks he's completely in love with gen and her crush on him is entirely unrequited. girl????

one of my favorite parts about xo kitty is the fact that there isn’t a book to influence the storyline. with all of her love interests, i really didn’t know which direction the writers were going to go in. it really took me by surprise when i started noticing the parallels between lara jean x peter and kitty x minho 😭 watching it all unfold was so much fun

The way the whole fandom woke up suddenly with a 5-second cameo of Peter Kavinsky in the trailer is the most wholwsome thing I have seen in the last 4 years.

'to all the boys i've loved before' is absolute perfection. i can't believe i'm saying this but oh my gosh i forgot just quite how good it is. my sister just put it on and of course i insisted i rewatch it with her and wow. the colour grading, the direction, the palpable chemistry between the leads, and sweetness and innocent joy that permeates the film...oh that movie is absolutely everything to me. all time banger
