Turns out it was Pokémon day yesterday? Well, I drew this for an AU my boyfriend is thinking about, a little Muppets x Pokémon au..and of course I had to draw Fozzie with a silly little team

I think his Pokémon would actually like his jokes! So even after a long day of not making others laugh, he’s still got his own little audience at home waiting for him :3

The reason he has a Mimikyu is because Fozzie tends to mimic the guest star sometimes! So he knows what it’s like to copy those who are more popular, just to be liked a little more. (And for fun, his Mimikyu dresses like him :3)

The Bear type pokemon are self explanatory, and so is the Mr. Mime. And the Bidoof just seemed VERY Fozzie coded to me. Additionally, all his pokemon have little hats and/or ties like he does! Fozzie never uses his pokemon to fight, that would be cruel. He’s just happy to have some pals who think he’s funny :)

The client looks like someone who was asked to sing the Và Pensiero right after swallowing a brick. His cheeks are slowly but surely turning pink, and although he's pointedly staring at the hatchling, the man's embarrassment is almost palpable. Eventually, he breaks. "It's short for Rocket Launcher."

Eijiro blinks. Now that it thinks about it, didn't Miyano-san call her Mimikyu—

He looks down at Rocky-short-for-Rocket-Launcher, who stops nibbling on the cuff of his trainer's sleeve long enough to rub his cheek against the man's hand, seemingly completely heedless of the health hazard represented by his own horn. Eijiro's client doesn't even bat an eye, aptly angling his head away from the danger zone one second and obligingly beginning to pet Rocky the next.

[ sfw ] — fluff ; bakugou katsuki x reader

“You’re cleaning that up,” you say, fixing Katsuki with your best exasperated look as you gesture to the mess in the bakery kitchen. Flour is scattered across the counter, eggs are cracked on the floor, and the sugar jar looks like it exploded in the crossfire. The chaos is entirely Katsuki’s fault—of course it is. Only your boyfriend would think it’s a good idea to try and put you in a headlock while you’re focused on baking a cake for tomorrow morning’s lineup.

He stares at the mess for a moment, and for a second, you think he might apologize. But this is Katsuki, and instead of contrition, his sharp crimson eyes flick back to you, and he grins, wide and mischievous. Before you can register what he’s about to do, he leans in and bites your cheek—not hard, but enough to make you yelp.

“Katsuki!” you exclaim, laughing despite yourself as you push at his chest. But he’s got that feral, playful energy that only comes out when he’s really relaxed, and he just tugs you closer, burying his face in the curve of your neck as his shoulders shake with laughter.

You squirm against him, trying and failing to escape his iron grip. “You’re impossible,” you mutter, but your words don’t carry much bite. He’s warm against you, his laugh rumbling low in his chest, and even though you’re trying to look annoyed, a grin tugs at your lips.

He doesn’t let go, and you can feel the smirk against your skin when he growls out, “Sh’ddup, Mimikyu.”

You roll your eyes at the nickname, but your heart squeezes in your chest. Katsuki has a way of making you feel like you’re standing at the center of a whirlwind—chaotic and overwhelming, but also safe, because it’s him. You’re pretty sure no one else on earth could wrestle with you in a bakery and make it feel like home.

“You’re being annoying, Typhlosion,” you shoot back, your voice laced with mock irritation. You try to wiggle free again, but his arms tighten around you, holding you steady.

“Yer lucky I’m so damn cute when I’m annoying,” he fires back, his voice low and smug, and the way he’s grinning against your cheek makes you feel like a puddle of cake batter.

The flour dusts the air, the scent of sugar and vanilla is thick, and the warmth of his embrace feels like the sea breeze from Ikema Island—soft, salty, and full of life. For a moment, you forget about the mess on the counter, the eggs on the floor, and the ticking clock that reminds you the cake still needs to be finished. All you can focus on is him, the way he’s holding you like you’re the only thing that matters in the world.

You pull back just enough to meet his eyes, and they’re sparkling with mischief, but there’s something else there too. Something softer. It’s in the way his grin softens just a bit, the way his thumb brushes against your side absentmindedly. Katsuki doesn’t say things like I love you often, but he doesn’t have to—not when he looks at you like this.

“Okay,” you say finally, your voice lighter now. “Fine. I’ll clean up. But you’re buying me dinner tomorrow.”

Katsuki raises an eyebrow, his grin turning cocky. “Dinner? You’re gettin’ takeout at best after the stunt you pulled tryin’ to fight me off.”

You shove at his chest again, and he catches your wrist, tugging you forward until your forehead bumps against his. “You’re such a little shit,” you mutter, but you’re smiling.

“Yeah,” he murmurs, smirking. “But you love me.”

He’s right, of course. You do. Even when he’s got flour in his hair and he’s ruining your perfectly planned night, even when he’s dragging you into his chaos, there’s no one else you’d rather have by your side.

You sigh dramatically. “Fine, you win. But you’re still wiping up the egg.”

He scoffs, releasing you but not before planting a quick, rough kiss on your temple. “Yer lucky I even put up with you, Mimikyu.”

“And you’re lucky I don’t fire your ass from my bakery,” you retort, already grabbing a towel and tossing one at him.

As the two of you get to work cleaning up the mess (well, you’re cleaning, and he’s grumbling about how he’s a Pro Hero, not a janitor), you can’t help but think about how this is what life with Katsuki is like. Messy, chaotic, a little annoying at times—but it’s also warm, full of laughter and love. It’s everything you never knew you wanted.

Btw I like names following themes, so Wednesday's pokemons are named after classic authors, while Enid's are references to kpop groups. Whether they exist or not in their pokemon universe is totally up to you to hc

Gothita

Nickname: Agatha

-basically Wednesday jr. If W hates being considered her mother's mini me, Agatha takes pride in it

-bit of a lil shit. Provokes Enid's pokemons, especially the Riolu

-was a gift from Morticia. W was reluctant to have another pokemon after the death of her skorupi, but W soon grew attached to her. This is also why Agatha is a bit of a "momma's girl"

Murkrow

Nickname: Jane

-thinks this whole feud over Mimikyu is a lil dumb

Duskull

-tried to get W lost in the forest, was invited into her team instead

-willingly went along before even getting caught by a pokeball when she learned that she gets to have a shiny lil brooch for it

-wants to befriend Enid and her Eevee but both were scared of her at first

-treats Mimikyu like a little brother

Nickname: Emily

-very shy

Riolu

Nickname: Luna

-used to be Esther's

-is unable to tune into Aura due to some defect and is having trouble evolving

-was going to be discarded for that but Enid took her in instead

-very competitive

Growlithe

Nickname: Velvet

-is the big sister figure for the team(even W's, no matter if Agatha and Jane deny it)

-very protective of Enid. WILL bite Wednesday. HAS bitten Wednesday

Eevee

Nickname: Zwei

-always a lil nervous, especially around ghost types

-was a parting gift from Enid's father before she went on her journey

Mimikyu

Nickname: TBA

-likes to steal. Mischievous lil guy.

-likes stories, whether it's Wednesday's WiP novel or Enid's gossips

-is supposed to be this AU's equivalent to Thing

It seems like Mimi is. Probably the single most common nickname for mimikyu that I've seen here. So I'm making a poll about it.

Mimipon was not sure about all these complex things being thrown their way. Big words, names they had never heard (What was an Arse-k-us?), it all flew right over her head. But she did at least recognise that fluffy-lamb was 'Proud' of her family???

But at that last sentence, she gave a little giggle. Very gently she raised a claw and patted Fluffy-lamb on the head. A soft and kind gesture.

"Silly Fluffy-lamb 💚. Everyone is different, no family is the same." She reassured them, "You not built wrong. Brother and sisters are always different. That would be like saying if you were taller than everyone you were broken." Mimipon had a bright look on their face. "Now you are the one being silly."

"You're fun Fluffy-Lamb. Let's be friends!"

[Mimipon likes Valiant. They have nicknamed them 'Fluffy-Lamb']

Mimipon @ Valiant: "Ah, a floofy floofyness." Mimipon excitedly announced, "You are super floofy! Bet you give great cuddles and don't even need to worry about sleeping on a rock because you are a pillow." She looked up at the Zoroark with childish joy, "Is it because you are made of clouds?!?"

"You are quite silly, I do not think I am made of clouds. That is the first time someone has ever called me 'floofy', usually I am called much harsher things. I think I like this 'floofy' word more." He gave an odd attempt at a snicker but it came out more as a scoff sound. "I am made of something much different."

"And she brought swift judgment down upon the mortals who dare challenged Arceus." "But I guess that's pretty close to a cloud!" Valiant gleefully smiled at the Mimikyu, "Birds fly in the sky with clouds, I think? I do not know any birds. I may not be a cloud but..."

"The champion, her name was Victory, but she is gone now. I suppose I was her in my past life, but I do not recall it." "Arceus said her remains were far too damaged to give her a proper rebirth." He thought for a moment before giving a vague shrug, "Maybe that is why I am so much different from my siblings, I wasn't made correctly."

→ Oh? Seem's Mimipon improved Valiant's mood! He'll be much more upbeat and cheerful now.

Pokémon! Got get that traumaaa!!

Below is just info about the little guys cause yah know

William’s Pokémon consist of his Lopunny, Drifloom, and Mimikyu. Lopunny, who he calls Bonnie, is extremely strong as a Pokémon. He’s violent and covered in scars from various battles. William doesn’t care too much about healing his Pokémon unless there is a possibility of them dying. William uses Bonnie to leer children away and Drifloom to grab them. Drifloom doesn’t have a nickname because William doesn’t really care for him outside of him being a tool. I like to think Drifloom is killed somewhere around the second missing child incident. Last one he has is Mimikyu, who I made look like a little plushtrap because I thought it was fun. I also have an idea that he turns into Mimic later after William is gone. I think that’s funnnn. Anyways Mimic also helps William with his killing murders. He also had a lot of fun causing nightmares for Will’s kids lol.

Mike’s Pokémon consists of Nickit and kinda Litwick. We know little of Nickit who he calls Nickie lol. Nickie was given to Mike by William as his first Pokémon, and William was not kind when it came to training. Nickits are not the strongest Pokémon, but they are especially weak when it comes to a very aggressive and high-leveled team. Mike is very close to Nickie, but before his siblings died, he was very similar in the way William treats his Pokemon. Nickie never hated him tho, she would be there for Mike :( Litwick however, prays on this guy’s downfall lmao. He found Mike just before Lizzie died and hasn’t left him since. Litwicks literally feed off of kids dying and there is no better family to follow around than the Aftons.

Lizzie actually hasn’t had Mime Jr (aka Baby) for long at all. William gave her Baby on her birthday, and then the next day Lizzie went missing. See, Mime Jrs like to copy and mimic behavior, especially to make a trainer happy. And there happens to be a child-murdering man that Lizzie heavily looks up to in the house with them. Yeah, Baby killed her lol. I like to think William kept her after Lizzie died, but idk what he did with her.

Evan’s Cubone was actually their mother’s Pokemon, but she died not long after Evan was born. Cubone attached themself to Evan because of their similarities— both being motherless crybabies and all. After Evan was killed, Cubone was a mess and extremely violent towards Mike. Nickie did her best to protect Mike, but that caused a lot of aggression to be pushed onto her. Eventually, Cubone left the Afton family, decidedly taking Evan’s Fredbear plush with them.

Not QUITE as evbo coded as yamper but pretty damn close. probably his starter tbh Hondege is for PVPciv because it litterally saps the life form of anyone who tries to yeild it like thats just PVPciv coded skiddo for PKciv wich i feel like is a little bit more strange of a pick because its not everyones first "oh jumping!" mon, but i think that the gogoat line fits pretty well on account of their mountian goat inspo. Sim!bo is just mimikyu coded in general TBH. like "forsaken cursed creature whos only goal is to be loved and adored and accepted by mimicing something its not and never will be"? thats just him. its him. its litterally him.

Headcannons for Dork Squad (+ Two Face) in a Pokemon AU

Jervis I like to think before he became the Mad Hatter he had one specific Pokemon he got when he was young which is also his main, Azumarill, aka the March Hare (used to be Dormouse before they evolved into a bunny). Then when he actually became a villain he started to add more. Mimikyu (Dormouse), and Polteageist (no nickname, but Jervis dose say "tea time" when sending them out) might have more, but those are the only ones I have so far. Also two of the Pokemon are related to his need for companionship so yeah.

Jonathan would have Pokemon that could spread his chemicals. Think of like Vileplume(probably main), and Weezing. He has definitely experimented on his Pokemon so when they can be immune to the fear gases, and naturally spread it around. He probably has some that aren't primarily used as fear toxin distributors, but they're probably also immune, and very experimented on too. Also his greatest weakness is funny enough Galarian Weezing because it's ability neutralizing gas that just completely negates the toxins. So Batman certainly has one.

Edward has so many Pokemon just in his PC. You would think he was trying to collect the Pokedex with how much he has, but no they're mostly for his schemes even ones he doesn't do in the end, his riddles, and always having a team with the most annoying strategies known to man. However he has like 1 or 2 Pokemon he always has tho regardless of team, and those are his main(s). Also he has accidentally encountered a shiny or two that he only brings up to antagonize shiny hunters or anyone that care about those kind of Pokemon.

Two Face does have a team of six, but he prefers double battles he cannot deal with single battles to save his life. The Pokeballs are also in pairs of two as well, so he can never just dump them into a thing they have to be organized. I don't care what anyone says, but when he turns into Two Face they immediately got a Morpeko that replaced Harvey's old main. They both knows it's not a good Pokemon, but they resonates with it so much, both of them loves them dearly, but they also causes immense pain because it's also a constant reminder of who he is now. It's really just a battle depending how bad his mental state is that day.

The Banora boys get the Applin variants. Genesis gets a Flapple and Angeal has an Appletun

Genesis also tries to deflect attention onto his much flashier Ceruledge in public tho

Angeal was also given an Aegislash by his father which he nicknamed Buster. Buster has seen too much as it’s passed down to Zack and then Cloud in turn, watching its partners suffer but unable to form the words to comfort them

Hojo tries and tries to get Sephiroth something big, ultra-powerful and intimidating, but Seph is set on the adorable Mew which found him and refused to leave his side. Still a mythical so Hojo lets him keep it but is very miffed

Cloud was adopted by a Galarian Zapdos bc chocobo. I don’t make the rules. I do feel like the character arc the Sobble line goes through fits him really well tho

Zack has an unevolved Rockruff for quite a while. When it eventually does evolve, no matter what time of day it is, it will inevitably evolve into Midday Lycanroc because Zack’s sunny personality is overwhelming

Aerith has a Tinkaton. They’re perfect for each other

I don’t know how to explain it but Mudsdale gives me Tifa vibes, also it was a powerhouse when I had it on my team and I love it

Hojo created a Mewtwo bc all other pokemon rejected him, but it immediately turned on its creator and murders him violently, preventing all problems and fixing everything without the need for time travel

Insane Seph got a Deoxys bc creepy alien. Maybe it is Jenova in this universe and starts corrupting him as soon as he gets it driving him insane

Rufus gets a Houndoom bc that’s basically what Darkstar is anyways

Cait Sith is basically just Meowth already, I don’t need to do much here. Maybe Perrserker to be the version from the Scotland area Pokemon game

Alternatively for Reeve I feel like Duraludon works, bc urban development and it reminds me of the Neo Midgar concepts

Heidegger gets either a Skuntank or a Granbull, idk which but vibes

Oh dear god while writing this I thought too much about the implications of SOLDIER still existing in a world where pokemon battles replaced normal fighting. Maybe it was an experiment to splice human dna with pokemon to get humans to be able to fight using pokemon moves too? So like you go up against a SOLDIER, faint all 6 of their pokemon and think yay I’ve won, and then the SOLDIER just starts going after your pokemon themselves. They are their own 7th pokemon
