Atlantis, The Lost Empire

I've watched this movie three times recently, so I just had to finally draw the "Heart of Atlantis" / "Crystal Cavern" scene.

The 90s/early 2000s was the best Disney era for male protagonists

This isn't all of them, but these were the best of them, imo. And this is just the characters; how I felt about their movies varies. I hope more Disney films in the future feature male leads--especially musicals! Aladdin, Hercules, and Quasimodo are the only human male protagonists in a musical where they sang substantively (thus eliminating Tarzan, Mowgli, Simba, and Arthur).

i went crazy or something the other day and ended up with a traditional drawing of varian, using copics no less (i have not done this in. forever. lol)

the only thought process was "my god. he's so blue. i need to draw something with blue." unfortunately halfway through coloring his hair i realized this could probably be taken as a moonstone varian thing but that was NOT my intention lol. it is artistic freedom ok
