Context: Millennium is an American television series created by Chris Carter (creator of The X-Files), which aired on Fox from October 25, 1996, to May 21, 1999. The series follows the investigations of ex-FBI agent Frank Black (Lance Henriksen), now a consultant, with the ability to see inside the minds of criminals, working for a mysterious organization known as the Millennium Group.
In addition to Carter, it shares many creatives with The X-Files like Glen Morgan, James Wong, and Mark Snow.
After cancellation, the S7 E4 X-Files episode "Millennium" was used as a crossover to conclude the story. I did not realize that until researching for this post. That explains a lot.

Love Me Like Music (And I'll Be Your Song)
NRC Archives, May 25 1983, the Tonight Show Starring Orson Krennic, Guests; Carson Teva, Luke Skywalker
[Krennic]: You were in the biggest band in the world. Aren’t you worried you’re gonna flop by yourself? Would be pretty embarrassing.
[Skywalker]: Oh, well I am now.
[Audience Laughter]
[Krennic]: Look, I’ve gotta ask-
[Skywalker]: I’m sure you do.
[Krennic]: the Rebellion announces a tv special with footage of you recording what will be your last album, Millenium, followed by a concert special. But then next thing we know, the specials’ taken off tv listings, you play a random untelevised rooftop concert, album doesn’t even surface for a few more months and then you announce you’re broken up! Everyone’s dying to know- what the heck happened? None of you have said anything since!
[Skywalker]: None of the stories that people tell about us can change what really happened.
[Krennic]: So then.. what?
[Silence as the Camera focuses on Skywalker]
[Skywalker]: (Sighs) Do you really want to know?
--
3 Grammys, multi-multi platinum records, sold-out world tours, multiple #1s. The Rebellion was the biggest band in the world; until it wasn't.

RULES:
All fictional women from a category will be randomized, and put into polls
Whoever gets 50 votes automatically proceeds into the next round. There won't be only one winner for each poll!
We will do one category at the time. We'll start with books.
We'll decide on a winner of each category, and then whoever had the most votes, will proceed into the Final 10.
I'll calculate how many votes each woman got, so that at the end of the voting, you can see how many other women also adored your favourite ones :)
This also means that once you vote, if there's someone else you also want to see in the finals, you can reblog and let your followers know who already has enough votes, and who needs more in order to proceed. I'll also sometimes reblog polls announcing that a certain character has made the cut, and now others need your attention. We're trying to see which ones are loved and adored enough to actually get a lot of votes, even with competition. The voting starts at the end of nominations!
(POLLS ARE COMING SHORTLY)

Thank you @m1ssunderstanding for tagging me!
Favorite Movie: I don’t watch TV/Movies much TBH anymore so my favorites are from my youth, which includes LOTR,  the Hunger Games and  Harry Potter but haven’t watched them in a long while so dunno if I still do. But I’ve lived long enough to have a few favorites at least. I like horror films a lot and I think the Conjuring series is some of the best of that genre. And The fourth Kind. I enjoy comedy films to cheesy romantic comedy I’d say @Sandra Bullock is my favorite actress  and @Jim Carrey actor in this genre so all of them but also Devil wears Prada and Meet the Parents the first one and That Mary and action comedies with @Will Smith and Jackie Sean ? Spelling?  too . You know the karate guy who makes his own stunts whatever. I also loved manga like Spirited Away and animes like Toy Story.
Favorite TV Show: / Streams. Friends, the Big Bang Theory, Full Metal Alchemist, Merlin, Scrubs, Seinfeld, South Park, Lucifer, Sabrina the Teenage witch, the Chilling adventures . I bet there are some more but that’s what comes in my head.
Favorite Musical Artists: How much time and space do you have in this?  I love music man! I was raised in a music loving family who went to Rock festivals together and not a day goes by without music in my ears. My favorite genre by far is Rock music  from 50’s to 90’s. and 80’s to @90’s rap and RNB and reggae too,  I also like playing  and making own digital music just for fun though! Some of my favorites are the Beatles and their solo’s, @the Rolling Stones, @Led Zeppelin, @Black Sabbath and if we care  about what Spotify say it’s @Hard Rock and a lot more the Stones than the Beatles (! Is shoooked about this TBH I think it must be rigged lol). But I know I’d probably pick @Michael Jackson if I’d pick a favorite. Think my favorite vocalists/singers are @Prince and @Mariah Carey. Oh and Paul McCartney and John Lennon.
Favorite Color:  Lilac, Purple, Violet.  ( Also My cats!)
Favorite Season: I do love them all. But I’m a summer girl for sure.
Favorite Book: I’ve read the popular ones I like are also pared with favorites movies and youth. + @Stephen King, @Virginia Andrews, Millenium series and well I’ve read quite a few books back then.
Do you have any Funko Pops? No, But I’ve bought some as gifts. Music icons! Maybe I’ll buy a John and Paul funko.
Do you play any instruments? Piano and guitar.
Do you have any pets?  Three cats, Lilac, Purple and Violet. But I’m a dog person too and horse girl. I’ve always had dogs my favorites are Border collies and German Shepherd but i work too much + away from home to have either. (active breeds and you miss out if you don’t use them for work)
Do you read or write fanfiction? Yes (I read)  McLennon FTW! I started reading Harry Potter fan fiction when the book series was still being written though first time I’ve heard about fan fiction and @SLASH smut.
What song(s) have you had on repeat repeatedly? Too many to name. Read above. Spotify runs daily in a loop. And I have both CD’s and LP collections and I play full albums.
Tagging: @cvtiebat, @ringosbitch, @lennon666, @lynchianightmare,@saint-mona

The fact that Robin knows the others don't have the same connection to the moon as he does, they can't understand what it means to be alone for milleniums and see everything from people to buildings come and go and only have this one beautiful constant in your existence for all that time. That he just wants this one day every now and then to give thanks to Her and he could easily do that on his own, god knows he has done for centuries, but no. He wants his friends there with him, it's so important to him, the way he says to Kitty "Nooo, eclipse is tonight!", he doesn't ask for anything else from them except this one thing and is crushed when they're more interested in watching tv (the ultimate irony being watching a show literelly about friends) and rightfully angry at Alison for spoiling it for the sake of wanting to climb her social ladder. A pettier caveman would have spoiled her Christmas as payback but no, she helped bring them together at the end with the sofa outside so he agrees to sing a carol for her festival.

//And with close 60% of the final vote, our 11th Match will be Hajime Hinata Vs Izuku Midoriya.
//What a LANDSLIDE victory, and one that's very well deserved in my opinion.
//But with that, we come to our GRAND FINALE, and I don't know about you guys...But there's only one person who can bring a spectacular despairful finale to this Death Battle series...
//Connections:
Afton: Both are antagonists from video games that are both psychopathic and intelligent, and they both started a horrible event with little to no rhyme or reason behind it, that kickstarted the main timeline of their respective series (the Tragedy and the end of the world for Junko and the multiple child murders that Afton committed). Both used their designated place of work/study as a death trap for their victims (Hope's Peak Academy and Freddy Fazbear's Pizza) and both are connected to mascots with animal themes, one of which they hide behind to keep their actual identities a secret from others (The Monokuma's and the Animatronics, more specifically the RC Killing Game Monokuma and Spring Bonnie). Both of them have control of a variety of gadgets and tech that help them kill their victims, the most potent of which are a small army of animal-themed killing machines (Monokuma for Junko and the AR Animatronics and Twisted One's for Afton). Ironically, their death would come from being crushed by the very thing that they used to commit their murders, as well as being brought on by their own victims (Junko died in the Ultimate Punishment after Makoto and the other Survivors of the first Killing Game defeated her, and Afton was crushed by his suit's spring locks when confronted by the spirits of the 5 missing children that he murdered), but they would soon resurrect in order to carry out their murderous plans; initially, they would take over a robot, and later, they would emerge as a virus that would infect users' virtual games and take over their minds (Junko created an Alter Ego AI of herself that initially took over Kurokuma and Shirokuma before it's concentrated code was uploaded into the Neo World by Izuru, where it then tried to possess the bodies of the Remnant's of Despair. Afton's spirit possessed the Spring Bonnie suit, becoming Springtrap, and then later Glitchtrap in the Fazbear Virtual Experience, where he tried to corrupt the minds of the game testers). These AI's also successfully took hold in the minds of young females, who became their most devoted follower (Yukari Koime and Vanessa). Both are also notorious for coming back from the dead time and time again, no matter how many times people try to get rid of them.
Chris: Both are twisted presenters of reality TV programs where teens are coerced into risky and life-threatening situations for extremely petty and illogical reasons (Junko did so for her own amusement and to spread the feeling of Despair to all of mankind for no reason other than boredom, and Chris not only enjoys watching people suffer, but he's obsessed with gaining views, clout and money through his show). The majority of their victims are a group of teenagers who are all centered around a single stereotype (The Ultimate's and the Contestants). Both also have/had a partner, whom they tormented and picked on all the time (Mukuro Ikusaba and Chef Hatchet), they both have armies of robots at their disposal, among many other traps and gadgets.
Major: They are both the charismatic, nihilistic, and completely insane leaders of their own personally corrupted terrorist followers (The Ultimate Despair/Organization Zetsubou and The Millenium Organization). They have unleashed unimaginable levels of terror and carnage on the world and are in constant conflict with an organization that works to fight the evils they bring about (The Future Foundation and the Hellsing Organization). They have long since passed away from what should have been their premature demise, but they still find ways to return and wreak more havoc (Junko comes back as an AI and by employing prodigies like Monaca to carry on her legacy. The Major was once revived as a cyborg.) Their pursuit of destruction stems from a single, overarching concept that defines their identity and motivation for wanting to see the world burn (Despair for Junko and War for The Major)
Joker: Both are insane manipulative masterminds who are fixated on a psychotic and flawed philosophy that emphasizes the negative aspects of humanity (Despair and Insanity respectively). Their obsession frequently drives them to manipulate and put other people in bizarre situations to demonstrate the superiority of their philosophy and drive people insane. Both drove admiring women in the medical field into a similar state of madness and twisted undying affection by manipulating them (Mikan Tsumiki and Harleen Quinzel) and they have both brainwashed countless others, have unpredictable personalities that cause them to act erratically, have hatched elaborate plans to bring about anarchy in society, and they both enjoy killing people in bizarre and inventive ways. Both are the nemeses of men who solve intricate crimes and directly contradict their ideology and thwart their schemes (Makoto Naegi and Bruce Wayne/Batman) whom also partner with a law-abiding individual who has ties to the police (Kyoko Kirigiri and Commissioner Jim Gordon). Both have multiple selves that they frequently switch between (with Junko continuously switching between different personas and Joker asserting that he had a multiple choice past and that he was even three people in the "three jokers" plot), are willing to harm and betray their own allies in an attempt to validate their beliefs (Mukuro and Harley Quinn, multiple times), and, despite their obvious mental health problems, are remarkably unsympathetic (Junko lost all sense of humanity and could only experience true life when she was in the depths of despair. Joker was a failed comedian who completely lost faith in humanity, and later fell into a vat chemicals during a heist)
Monika: Both are the main antagonists of Visual Novels who are initially portrayed as talented high school girls and possess an abnormal degree of control in the world around them (Junko is the Ultimate Despair/Fashionista/Analytical prowess, and is extremely powerful and influential for a mere high-school girl and regularly breaks the fourth wall, while Monika, who is the president of the Literature Club and a very popular upperclassman in the school, not only also breaks the fourth wall, but has access to the game files, which she can play with how she fits) They both commit graphic crimes on the world and their classmates/friends for seemingly petty and nonsensical reasons (Junko does it to feel Despair and spread Despair, while Monika actively deletes the other characters from DDLC's game files until she's the only available romance option left) however, they do it with slightly contrasting motivations which makes one more sympathetic than the other (Junko is hopelessly fickle and does terrible things simply out of boredom and a desire to feel any sort of excitement. Monika does it out of desperation and love for the player, since the game denies her any role outside of a background character, and not an initial date option). Both, at least at one point, are also AI/coded characters in a digital world that they desperately want to escape from (Junko came back as an AI after her death and tried to use the Remnant's of Despair's bodies to escape the Neo World Program and wreak havoc on the world again, while Monika desires nothing more than to get out of the coded reality she's in so she can be in a romantic relationship with the MC behind the screen.) As a side note, Junko's protégé from Ultra Despair Girls is also called Monaca, though it is spelt differently.
[IMPORTANT NOTE: To make sure everything is covered, this version of Junko will be a COMPOSITE version of her that combines all of her iterations across Danganronpa as a series. This includes AI Junko from DR2, UDG and Survivor, but DOES NOT include DRV3, as that version is Tsumugi dressed up as her.]
Also, here's the Narumi animation that was used in the promo: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cEt7l49Y87Q

The actor Peter Blake was born on December 8th 1948 in Selkirk.
Tumblr media
Unless you are a fan of the John Sullivan comedy, Dear John, you might not have heard of Peter Blake. Peter described himself as “the man who was nearly famous three times”, those occasions being for the sitcoms Dear John and Agony and a series of TV advertisements for Pepsi in the mid-1970s.
Born as John Beattie Dempsey his parents must have been proud Scots, they always referred to him as Ian. For those that are unaware Ian is the Scottish Gaelic term for John in return he termed them “a Border Maiden” and “a Scottish Soldier”.
Although the family moved south to Worcestershire when he was young, they returned home often on visits, most often during the Selkirk Common Riding in June.
After failing to make it as pop star Blake trained at what is now the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, in Glasgow, he made his debut in Frank Dunlop’s production of The Winter’s Tale at the Assembly Rooms, Edinburgh, in 1966). Three years later saw him as a “Stage Manager – not a part!” in strip clubs in Soho, before an Amsterdam production of Hair led to its West End version at the Shaftesbury. Pharaoh in Joseph And The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and Pontius Pilate in Jesus Christ Superstar, followed, he was however most well known on stage for playing Frank-N-Furter in The Rocky Horror Show over a thousand times between 1975 and 1994.
Tumblr media
While his bread and butter was on the stage Peter made appearances in some well known shows through the years including, in the 70's Minder, Shoestring and Z Cars, he was also in all episodes of the Sitcom Agony as smarmy radio disc jockey Andy Evol. During the 80's he was in Murphy's Mob, Shine on Harvey Moon and Just Good Friends, it was also in the 80's he appeared in one of my fave sitcoms, Dear John as the resplendent Kirk St Moritz, dressed in white suit, big collars and golden medallion.
During the 90's he was in four episodes of the Scottish sitcom City Lights with the late great Gerard Kelly, as well as several episodes of Smith and Jones, in the new millenium, like every other self respected Scottish actor, he was in Taggart as well as the Bill and four episodes of Eastenders. Peter also appeared and sang in an advert for Pepsi Cola.
Peter Blake passed away on July 21st 2018 aged 69.

because the vacation alone screams mafia!eddie like him spoiling you in paris can you imagine??? but also lisbeth really won me over bc i know for a fact, and it’s been kind of talked about especially in the last work a little, that eddie would share similar view points to her. i feel like finding someone he could relate to like that would just mean a lot to him. someone kinda tough who could hold their own but still let him kinda spoil them. it’s a match!

NRC Archives, May 25 1983, the Tonight Show Starring Orson Krennic, Guests; Carson Teva, Luke Skywalker [Krennic]: You were in the biggest band in the world. Aren’t you worried you’re gonna flop by yourself? Would be pretty embarrassing. [Skywalker]: Oh, well I am now. [Audience Laughter] [Krennic]: Look, I’ve gotta ask- [Skywalker]: I’m sure you do. [Krennic]: So then.. what? [Silence as the Camera focuses on Skywalker] [Skywalker]: (Sighs) Do you really want to know? ——- 3 Grammys, multi- multi platinum records, sold-out world tours, multiple #1s. More Super Klenk details come to light
Tumblr media
Does Super Klenk still exist? Did Super Klenk ever exist? The tv show is so famously obscure that one could be forgiven for believing it was just a hoax. Running for 13 episodes at the turn of the millenium, Super Klenk followed the antics of a school teacher who has a secret life as a superhero. Broadcast on primetime Sunday evenings on GMA-7, each episode lasted 90 minutes, blending action, romance, and comedy. For a primetime show running on a major network there's precious little evidence online of it ever having existed. Only one very brief video clip is available, taken from a station promo, plus a tiny number of low resolution promotional photos.
It is, very likely, one of the most obscure and undocumented superhero tv shows ever. The series appeared to have not been reshown since its original broadcast, and for all anyone knows the master tapes may have been junked. But that doesn't mean that with a bit of digital sleuthing we cannot unearth some interesting details about the series. For example, a while back a study of television listings in newspapers revealed the original broadcast details, and the tantalising possibility that there may have been far more than just 13 episodes.
In this post we outline further sources of contemporaneous information.
The Manila Bulletin
We start with a low resolution scan of an article from the Manila Bulletin (see above.) The article is conveniently written in English, yet parts of the text are hard to decipher given the low quality of the image. The following is a transcript as best can be made out. Note: passages marked in colour denote text that is unclear or missing from the image.

Tired of your usual Sunday night viewing habits? Then look up in the sky. Is it a bird? Is it a plane? It's Super Klenk to the rescue!
Although you won't really see Super Klenk in the sky once you channel surf to GMA-7 tonight at 8 p.m., their newest situational comedy entitled "Super Klenk" premieres.
Produced by Philippine-broadcasting leader GMA Network Inc., the comical super series "Super Klenk" stars sexy Ara Mina, who plays a dual role. As a normal human being she is a grade school teacher and volunteer rescuer Charito for Rescue 711, while she turns into the high flying but still fumbling heroine whenever she's needed to save people in distress.
In her new role as a super heroine, silver screen goddess Ara Mina defies the stigma of a "TF" [titillating films] actress. According to her, she doesn't care if people including the press would criticize her the way they did when she took on a singing career. What is important to her is that she remains focused on entertaining the children who will watch her show. She also emphasized that her decision to do children's show is not an indication that she will veer away from doing sexy roles. Her latest film that is slated for a January, 2000 release entitled "Laro sa Baga" will still feature her in some steamy love scenes.
According to its director Mac Alejandre, the unusual title of the sit-com was spawned after its head writer Isko Salvador, aka Brod Pete, who also plays Doctor Cortal in the TV series, took a break from their brainstorming. The creative team formed solely for this show were thinking of the show's title at Amigos Restaraunt when Isko came back with the "Super Klenk" apparently is also the middle name of Ara Mina (it is pronounced in Germany the same way as the word clench is pronounced.)
"Super Klenk" is also unusual in its length. It is a one and a half-hour sit-com, which is not the norm for television. Director Mac has no reason for this except that it was the time given them by GMA 7's programming department. He find this challenging since he knows that he has to keep this one and a half-hour show interesting all the way.
"It is really hard to do a sit-com that's one and a half hour that's why we have to make this as interesting as possible visually, acting wise and gag wise. The truth is the pilot episode was done in more than two days because we have a big cast and it was really hard doing the special effect," Explains Director Mac.
Insiders from the show said that the "Super Klenk's" special effects budget was really financially stressful but GMA-7 shelled out just the project's success. The special effects have also been at the helm of two creative [unreadable] behind "Super Klenk" five days to decide on which special effects to develop and utilize.
"Super Klenk" was developed with children's Sunday night viewing bits in mind according to GMA's VP for Programming Wilma Galvante. [Unreadable] is a wholesome entertainment but with Ara Mina as the star. "The show [unreadable] promises young televiewers bit only fantastic special effects but also moral lessons that are interjected in every episode.
The launching of "Super Klenk" is in line with the new shows GMA 7 has [unreadable] for its viewing public for the year 2000. The culmination of all their [unreadable] released and offered this year is "Millenium Broadcast."
So how does Ara Mina become Super Klenk?
The unassuming Charito lives an ordinary life as a teacher who has to contend with mischievous students like copycat Xerox and the narcoleptic [unreadable]. As a rescue volunteer, she works with an obnoxious publicity hungry [unreadable: police?] chief, Hope Pimentel.
Her daily routine suddenly shifts to a new gear one day in some dark [unreadable: alley?] when she sees an old lady whom she thought was waylaid by street thugs. Charito tries to revive the seemingly old ago-go dancer, Tondang Xorax (Flora Gasser), who [unreadable] against the wall during a chase with her archenemy Oblada (Sandra Gomez.) Charito's attempt to breathe life back into [unreadable] Xorax proves futile but he superpowers of the aging heroine is accidentally transferred to the young volunteer rescuer. Tondang Xorax [unreadable: magically?] fades into a celestial star right before the unbelieving eyes of the [unreadable: unsuspecting?] Charito. Soon Tondang Xorax visits Charito to inform her the [unreadable: henceforth?], she will be known as Super Klenk.
Also starring Pilita Corrales, Isko Salvador, Paolo Fabregas and James Fabregas.

WHOLESOME ROLE FOR ARA MINA IN GMA-7 SERIES
Quezon City, Dec.11, 1999 - GMA-7 is changing the image of bold star Ara Mina via a wholesome role in the network’s newest fantasy-action comedy series entitled Super Klenk!
“Tamang-tama nga dahil ngayong naghihigpit sa bold, heto’t nabigyan naman ako ng chance to do this kind of wholesome show na puwede sa bata and for the whole family,” Ara says. ["It's right because now that the bold is being restricted, I was given the chance to do this kind of wholesome show that can be done by children and for the whole family."]
Ara plays Charito, a dedicated grade school teacher and rescue worker. One night, she witnesses the original Super Klenk meet an serious accident. While trying to give the accident victim some mouth-to-mouth resuscitation, Ara received the special powers of Super Klenk, played by Flora Gasser.
“I become the new Super Klenk, a crimebuster who is the mortal enemy of the main villain in the show, si Oblada, played by Sandra Gomez,” Ara adds. “I enjoy doing this show because para akong si Wonder Woman and I get to do a lot of action scenes while fighting criminals. Nakakalipad din ako rito at ginastusan nila ang special effects sa flying scenes to make it look really convincing on screen.” [I enjoy doing this show because I'm like Wonder Woman and I get to do a lot of action scenes while fighting criminals. I was also able to fly here and they paid for the special effects in the flying scenes to make it look really convincing on screen.]
Playing the love interests of Ara in the show are newcomer Paolo Fabregas (son of actor-musical director Jaime Fabregas) and Isko Salvador (more popularly known as Brod Pete of Ang Dating Doon.)
This does not mean, though, that Ara is turning her back on sexy movies. As a matter of fact, she has just finished Laro sa Baga.

The third piece was published on 18th March 2000 on Philstar Global, marking the premature cancellation of the show. Again, translations in colour.

Ara: Win Some, Lose Some
The sad news is true, after all. Yes, Ara Mina's Super Klenk will have its final telecast (GMA 7) this Sunday. After that, her flying character will be grounded (never to fly again?).
But the good news is that Ara will topbill a new GMA sitcom, untitled just yet, which starts telecast very soon.
"Super Klenk was very hard to shoot because palagi kaming outdoors," [Super Klenk was very hard to shoot because we were always outdoors] said Ara when Funfare talked to her on the set of FPJ Productions' Ayos Na Ang Kasunod (to be released by Millennium Cinema), her first team-up with FPJ. "Our minimum shooting time was two days. I wore a tight costume which could sometimes be very uncomfortable. I'm looking forward to doing the new sitcom which is light and easier to do. Like Super Klenk, pambata din 'yung bago kong sitcom." [Like Super Klenk, my new sitcom is also for children.]
Ara is leaving for Las Vegas third week of April to perform in a concert with Martin and Bert Nievera.
[END]
Cast and crew
Finally, through various sources (the IMDB, actor's profiles, etc.) we are able to pull together a list of the main actors and their characters, as well as some of the key production crew.
Ara Mina as Charito and her alter ego Super Klenk.
Isko Salvador (aka Brod Pete) as Doctor Cortal, the love interest, and also one of the show's writers.
Paolo Fabregas as another doctor and possible love interest.
Flora Gasser as Tondang Xorax, the superhero whose powers are accidentally transferred to the Charito.
Sandra Gomez as Oblada, the show's main villain.
Pilita Corrales as Aunt Baby, the relative Charito lives with.
James (Jaime) Fabregas as Hepe Pimente, the police commissioner and Charito's boss at the rescue team (also the real life father of actor Paolo Fabregas.)
Dingdong Dantes, possible guest actor.
Mark Anthony Fernandez, possible guest actor.
Elizabeth Ramsey as Tiya Kirara, guest actor.
Roxanne Barcelo, possible guest actor.
Yoyong Martirez, possible guest actor.
Mac Alejandre, the showrunner and director.
Wilma Valle Galvante, GMA's VP for Programming.
Conclusion
Over the last couple of years a lot of classic pinoy television has been uploaded, legitimately, to YouTube. The good news is therefore that it is possible that one day Super Klenk may be available for the public to watch once again. The bad news is that, given the obscurity of the show, it could be a very very long wait. Worse still, assuming the episodes do still exist in an archive somewhere, the chances are any uploads will be chopped up into small YouTube friendly chunks, rather than presented in their original 90 minute format. There's always the possibility that the show in its original form may be included on a streaming platform, or re-screened on a golden hits style cable channel, but so far neither of these things have happened.
And so, in the absence of any episodes to watch, the details above are currently all we know about what is possibly tv's most obscure superheroine show (unless you know more?!?) Maybe that will change in future -- here's hoping.
(A quick thank you to DrMuttonChops for tracking down a scan of the Manila Bulletin article, posted years ago on Ara Mina's social media.)

BOOKS OF 2022
Yes, you read correctly. I'm a ninny and forgot to post this last year so I'm posting it now so I can get all caught up. (2023's list is coming soon)
I got books on Inside No. 9 and Blake’s 7 (two of my favourite TV shows) plus a book about Alice in Wonderland (inspired by the V & A exhibition) and one about how Disney was inspired by rococo art (based on the exhibition that I think was held at the Wellcome but I could be wrong).
Also read Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen’s book, More More More which examined the art of maximalist interiors and Runway Bird by Irina Lazareanu which was sort of a style guide to being a rockstar’s girlfriend. I read Growing Up. Sex in the Sixties which looked at sex in society/popular culture at this time and Hood Feminism by Mikki Kendall. I read Zoe Howe’s guide to witchcraft, Witchful Thinking plus Lisa Kroger + Melanie R. Anderson’s 2nd book, Toil and Trouble, which looks at notable women in the occult in America. Plus Dress Code by Veronique Hyland
Also managed to bag a copy of the book of Velour (the drag magazine) when I went to see Sasha Velour perform. I read And the Category Is by Ricky Tucker which examines the ballroom drag culture + voguing plus How You Get Famous by Nicole Pasulka which looked at the rise of some of the drag queens from the Brooklyn scene + the impact of Drag Race.
Read The Queer Bible which has various LGBT+ celebrities talking about the different people who inspired them and a couple of books which looked at the rise of lesbian popular culture in the early 2000s – The 2000s Made Me Gay by Grace Perry and Girls Can Kiss Now by Jill Gujowitz.
I don’t tend to read that many novels but I did read some really good ones this year – My Year of Rest and Relaxation, Yinka Where’s Your Husband? How to Kill Your Family and The Albion Initiative (the final part of the Newbury & Hobbes series of steampunk detective novels with an occult twist). And I finally managed to get round to reading Shuggie Bain (which I loved) as well as tracking down copies of The Elementals (Southern Gothic horror novel) and Interfictions (which contains the story about Nancy Spungen called Rats).
I read memoirs by Joan Collins + Esme Young (from Great British Sewing Bee) as well as an excellent biography on Jayne Mansfield called The Girl Couldn’t Help It and an oral history about Antony Bourdain called Bourdain.
I do tend to read a lot of music books. I read memoirs by Kid Congo Powers and Miki Berenyi plus Bodies by Ian Winwood (which looked at how the music industry affects mental health mixed in with his own story) and Exit Stage Left by Nick Duerden (which looked at what happened to a variety of stars after their fame dwindled). Also read Southend on Zine by Graham Burnett which was a history of fanzines in the Southend area which included interviews with a lot of the zine makers + touched on the history of alternative music/culture in the area.
One of my favourite books this year was Millenium Gothic by Dorian Bridges (known as of herbs and altars on YouTube) which deals with her growing up as a goth in the 00s but also deals with her mental health issues including anorexia and self harm. Another couple of favourite authors returned with second memoirs, Emma Forrest with Busy Being Free and Amy Liptrot with The Instant. Also Ione Gamble (who does the Polyester website + zine) wrote a brilliant book of essays called Poor Little Sick Girls which I highly recommend.
