Since @theultimatekamehamehavoc was interested in my Byakuya has a dog headcanon, I decided to give it its own post! So, this dog is big- he's massive. It's an Akita but one of the really big ones. It was supposed to be a guard dog, but an accident happened during training and he lost his leg.

After this, he couldn't exactly go back to training, but Kijo (Byakuya's dad) decided to keep him- a dog could always be useful after all. The dog also got a prosthetic leg, one that functions really well. It was made for thid dog in mind.

He's also called Miles. Not only cuz it's a kinda fancy name, but also since it's a Sonic reference, like Byakuya's High School.

So, Miles got a cool new leg. And after that, he just kinda got spoiled. He has a full room just filled with toys and has his own sofa's around the house, including in the garden.

He also has little suits to wear. After all, Miles is the dog of the Togami's, he must look good. He has a whole team of people dedicated to grooming him and taking him on walks- neither Kijo nor Byakuya have the time to do that, though they do still take Miles on walks when they can.

Unlike his owners, Miles is very sweet. Though, he's also quite protective of his owners...

After making Miles a cat I started wondering how Nick would be as one.

I see people associating him more with dogs but I think he'd make a neat cat too. He would be that very specific type of cat, the velcro cat. Follows you into the bathroom, prevents you from working, turns furniture to dust when you leave, screeches unholy if not given enough attention... That type of cat.

Got inspired to draw doodles of Byakuya and his dog, Miles! I'm not that good at drawing animals so Miles is VERY inconsistent in how I drew him. The prosthetic leg is also a tad bit wonky with how I drew it as well. He's still a good, dapper boy though! Also, I wonder. Has Byakuya gotten into any rich boy shenanigans with his dog?
