“ i did get asked a few times by some guys from our sibling school . . . but i said no . ” she wasn’t about to give them that satisfaction , not ever .  she smiled at the upperclassman , her interest piqued . “ i’d love to kikyo-chan ! what’re you going to be dressed as this year ? i was thinking a witch but my friend usagi told me i should be a princess . ” for what reason did the bunny make that suggestion ? who knows but it was an interesting choice for sure .

aizen's actually very fond of food! he's been cooking ever since he got to the seireitei, though his menu and expertise wasn't that challenged until gin came into his life. like, he could make decent or fancy meals before then but he didn't really try to do much. like, we're talking big time bachelor meals here for him. but once gin arrived, aizen actually began to work on cultivating more recipes into what he cooks. if you look at his personal library, you'll find some very well-worn recipe books there. he bought SEVERAL in the wake of gin showing up and returned the ones that had stuff that gin didn't seem interested in (though he tried to introduce those later once gin got past the "eating simple things" phase) so he's actually turned into a really decent cook. one of his favorite things to eat is grilled eel, actually! so yeah, they could join up in the kitchen if that ever appeals!

a simple quiet clap radiating blue sparks harnessing materials in perfect balance of trade. of the law of providence, conservation of mass, the four elements, equivalent exchange. her tin bucket was almost empty of water; and while the boy with eyes far too old in his face didn’t want to admit that seeing someone hurt didn’t unnerve him -- it was painful to see nonetheless and he couldn’t stand by. 

“ you were out of water. “ said quietly; careful not to make it worse.  worried eyes on her face before focusing with that same, honest, clear compassion on the injured persons before them. “do you need help getting them to a hospital ? i used the materials around me to refill your bucket, but that ain’t gonna last. i’m glad i stumbled on this...not glad for....well, this guy. he needs help. i’m not a  doctor or medic so --- tell me how i can help.” blunt, but honest. an aching sympathy for the suffering person beneath. people shouldn’t hurt. not like this. not at all. but lessons without pain he knew were virtually impossible. but this had nothing to do with this situation as an example of it. what had happened?

he knew pain like he knew the cells in his blood, down to every remaining human fiber that hadn’t been melded into metal screws.

chopin’s  nocturne  in  c  sharp  minor .  in  her  opinion  ,  this  piece  matches  kikyo’s  essence  &  (  what  she  can  interpret  as  )  her  feelings .  compared  to  other  renowned  classical  pieces  ,  this  one  is  considered  to  be  quite  short  ;  however  ,  with  a  lot  of  sentiment  played  in  slow  notes .  (  ironically ?  nocturnes  are  very  expressive  &  melodically-driven  ,  &  usually  with  a  moody  character .  a  contrast  to  kikyo’s  mystery..  always  keeping  a  tight lip  &  never  letting  feelings  take  over  her  duty .  but  that  doesn’t  mean  that  she  doesn’t  feel..  )

Izumi had been sharing more than a few kisses with the priestess, and for what it was worth, he was a patient man. Still, it seemed as if she was far too good at getting him riled up. That being said, he was gentle as he guided her hands beneath his robes. 

“Please don’t tease me so...”

' Kira....I know It's hard...but can you help me with the decorations? the children wanna start decorating for Christmas.' Kikyou smiled bashfully, the children going around her legs almost causing her to stumble as she talked over one another trying to get Kira to agree.

“ Of course , let me help with the tree , and leave the rest of the cooking to me for tonight“ 

He’d only just returned from his office a few minutes ago , but it warmed his heart greatly to see the children moving about in such high spirits . The journey from Earth to the Z.A.F.T Colonies hadn’t been as taxing or as disorientating on them as he had initially feared . 

Zero Gravity was an easy concept to describe to a six year old , a lot harder to manage the first time , though ... if the stories he’d heard were to be believed it seemed like it had been much harder to keep the childrenintheir seats during the shuttle flight rather than not . 

He’d promised to take them somewhere where they could play in zero gravity as much as they wanted to soon , a small part of the tour he had planned for them of the colonies ever since the War had come to an end . 

Making his way carefully past the children as they played , stopping only a few times to give out hugs , he picked up the box of decoration from Kikyou’s hands .

Leaving a small , brief kiss as he pulled away to start wrapping decorative tinsel around the tree .

“ Relax , let me handle the rest from here ok ? “

Clearly the mere thought of the woman's child leaving for the Wutai War troubled her dearly. "   You'll only truly need me if you die & can't pass to Soul Society for any reason, because that more likely will end up being my fault.   " Small ruffle of Kikyo’s hair in a slight attempt to reassure it’s fine, before he sat down, hand pressing onto the worst injury. It hurt a bit, however the reaction felt a bit.. over the top. He should be still capable to fight if needed.

"   Besides I'm not dying yet, it's nothing comparing to training with my captain. I just need a moment of rest... & I guess bandages could be useful.   "
