He let's out a little laugh, it breezes through his lips half-heartedly. His head turns away from her as he looms out the window, his coffee is raised to his lips to take a sip before planting it down. His eyes watch the early morning activities of the Seireitei with quiet amusement. Yes, he is blushing. His head tilts downward in thought, before turning back to her.

"I just had this thought." He'd hum, his lips pulling into a smile. The type of smile which spoke of pleasant contentment. A sound outside causes his head to turn again, and he sees a Shino student apologizing profusely to a Gotei member they have ran into. He watches this scene and speaks once more without looking at her. "It's silly really." He'd muse for a second, his hand coming to rest over the top of his steaming coffee mug. He moves to look at her.

"I was thinking about what it might be like to be a father." He let's out a laugh, lifting up a hand waving it dismissively. "Silly, I told you."

His eyes drift back to the student outside the window, apologizing. The idea of having something to care for, to leave a legacy behind, it was silly to him. Worth blushing over. Because such thoughts where reserved for men better than he.

"I ought' to get to the meeting."

He is standing now, his daydreams are over.

His own, equivalent of a blank canvas. Soon for deep baritone to evade subtle lips, offering a response to such needless inquiry.

Though, he observes the action with a quizzical expression. Her words don't enlighten him on what the hell she is up to, not until her gaze shifts and she addresses him again.

....is this a test of some kind..? If he says no will she accuse him of being prejudiced against women or something? It has nothing to do with her being a woman, it has to do with her being the size of a jumbo soup can, and his being 5"10.5 of solid muscle.. There is no way she's lifting all that.. He's never once seen her working out.

"Without kidou or something? Hell no." He'll choose honesty despite the chances of the petite blonde blowing up at him for being discriminatory towards her sex.

The Arrancar gently bows to the Eighth Division's captain. Coming there after the recent renovations felt like a breath of fresh air: it was clear that the plants there were kept with exceptional care, much like the persimmon trees garden over at their division's barracks, before it was greatly damaged.

In a way, they felt relieved that so much good and beauty could rise from the ashes of the conflict, and had intentionally chose the path that would cross the Ninth's grounds for that day's walk, perhaps so that they, too could somehow take advantage of the healing process those grounds had undergone.
