The way she held herself also oddly seemed to emphasize the illusion of maturity, appearing to be a seventh year, despite actually being only a third, and carried an unusually observant air. Her hair was long and crimson with dense flowing curls and eyes like emeralds. She also appeared to be wearing a Griffindor uniform at the time.

It was not until she had left from Hagrid's and was heading up the hill that it was made clear what was the main reason behind the relatively vivid discussion, a creature roughly the size of a common housecat with sleek, pitch-black fur quietly tagging along a short distance behind her evenly measured strides.

If it weren't for the way it seemed to glide along and the soft glow of its ruby red eyes, it might have been mistaken for an unusually loyal feline.

"Hm, oh hey! I've been looking for this volume in the ser-AAHGH!" As Drake reached out for the specific fantasy book he was immediately and without warning, tackled to the floor by his fellow dragon cohort.

His skills hadn't deteriorated in the least since he last saw him. Drake didn't even sense him approach. Had he gotten even stronger?

"Dammit! What's your problem you golden jackass!?"

Drake was normally very amicable when it came to new people riding the Sunny. As long as Luffy approved, he didn't make a fuss. However, Toru being their newest ally was something Drake was finding difficult to adjust too.

He had locked horns with Toru more times than he could count at this point. Literally and figuratively. He was ready to fight The Dragon Marine for the rest of his life. And to be honest, seeing that he couldn't even remember their rivalry, it really frustrated him.

"Sigh...sorry, I should have asked before trying to take your book. My bad..."

The third seat was of few words, so it would only be natural that a lot of her communication was articulated through her facial expression, and with a slightly inquiring one it was clear that she was asking him how his day was.

Convenient for when she couldn't sign, because of hands being occupied by raccoon-holding.

Soifon was traversing the halls of the 4th when a curious sight caught her eye, a rather depressed-looking Isane. She assumed it was just another grieving moment but there were no tears this time. Perhaps she was just feeling down today?

There was a reluctance to comfort her fellow Captain. She could easily carry on with her stroll and ignore the scene altogether. That might even be what Isane would have preferred and yet the smaller Captain couldn���t bring herself to leave them looking so down.

Flash-stepping over to them Soifon simply chose to stand there, offering up her presence if the other wished to talk about whatever. Or not.  That would be fine as well. She’d remain there to try and give them some form of comfort. Eventually, Soifon would bring a hand up to Isane’s shoulder, patting it a few times since she couldn’t quite reach to pat their head.

When Kerrigan said Dehaka (an outcast “Primal Zerg”, whatever that meant) wanted a tour of Hyperion, Jim was… skeptical, at best. He trusted her, but having a Zerg, however independently sentient, aboard his flagship was somewhat against protocol. Ironically, it was Matt Horner who reminded him that this war with Amon was much bigger than old grudges.

“How 'bout old nightmares?” Jim muttered.

“Hearts and minds,” Matt had shot back before leaving the commander to wait for the arrival of their new… Guest. Do zerg even have hearts?

Rukia blinked up at Isane, glancing up from the report she had been reading. Curiously, she leaned forward, trying to see what was in the container the taller woman was holding. “Eh, what are they exactly, Isane? They certainly are colorful.”

"So, got a question for ya," Eddie said softly after a moment, looking at Darcy. "You got any chocolate on you?"

"Not the worst come on I've ever heard. I--"

Darcy stops as she gets a good look on him, and, whew boy it is not great. He's got some good bone structure, but the scraggly unshaved look which would normally be exactly her think makes him look tired. There are bags under his eyes that are from an exhaustion more than just physical. His face was pale and ghostly. She's pretty sure he's sweating.

"Are you... like on something? Christ. Hold on, I think I have a Reese's Pumpkin somewhere in my..."

She's digging around in her messenger back. An assortment of things, not all identifiable, swim out.
