I've been doing well. I've had two short work weeks which has been great. This has given me more time for self-ship thoughts! To your point, it has been getting cold lately and I've been feeling very cozy with the faves.

Yuji and I on very cold days like to make cinnamon rolls and hot chocolate, always cuddled up as we watch an old movie

Reo likes to take me shopping for a winter wardrobe, holding my hand as we see the holiday light displays

Sugawara and I get a shared pair of mittens since our hands always get cold. With our matching sweaters we can't help but giggle, clearly in love.

Vash and I would decorate donuts Iike turkeys, snowflakes and ornaments. I'm only able to take pictures for 10 seconds before he's biting into it.

Miyuki and I are decorating a gingerbread house, laughing as we smooth the icing out on the roof of the house. Once we finish decorating our respective gingerbread people, he gives me a backhug, feeling undoubtedly soft.

I still wonder about this. 

Since we’ve already wound down on Inazuma stuff, by elimination “the one who lies beneath” probably refers to Orobashi? They do keep its core in the Mikage furnace for... some reason, but I always think of Yaishiori as the place where the Orobashi’s remains actually are. After all, that’s where the head is and the place that gets cursed just from lifting some seals. 

I also wanted to mention this, though I didn’t screenshot the line:

How does that work out when the the Sacred Sakura is literally Makoto’s soul retconning the timeline? 

I was thinking about this while I was replaying Tsurumi, because of the Perches there, which are similar magic trees, but obviously not the same kind of tree. 

This is why I just... cannot stand the stupid, pointless, bullshit thing they did with Makoto and the Sacred Sakura. We didn’t NEED a convoluted origin story for the magic tree! We have an endless supply of magic trees, which can’t all be explained! Why explain this one??

(And on that subject, why does the tree grown from Makoto’s soul have a fox head shape?!)

It’s all just so ridiculous, and I cannot believe this wasn’t some kind of weird last minute rewrite because Makoto’s entire existence is just so poorly integrated and incongruous with so much of the Inazuma setting and lore...

This kind of nonsense is yet another part of why I no longer take Genshin lore seriously. It’s just setting yourself up for frustration.

CCG as YouTubers….

Haise goes viral for doing tiktok dance challenges and uploading them to YouTube, his username is probably something like PunMaster.

Saiko has a gaming and cosplay channel on which she’s very popular, people love how cute she is. In her spare time she also reviews sweets, drinks and different snacks. Occasionally Hsiao and Tooru make guest appearances.

After the CCG has the art festival, a food critic is inspired by Iwaos food platter and invites him to review some stuff on his channel. The viewers end up loving Iwao and affectionately call him “grandpa iwa”. He makes a few returns after that.

Juuzou is a sweets and desert review channel with over 14 million subscribers. People absolutely either love or hate him and his antics. He’s also very vocal on Twitter and Instagram. Shinohara sometimes joins him and people adore their duo.

Hanbee doesn’t really expose himself on social media but makes sure to keep Juuzou out of drama and controversies..

Miyuki has a channel all about space and fun facts about space. His videos often are used for revision for kids, as they are very informative and fun!

‘Kuramoto boys’ is a reaction and troll channel, featuring Hirako (forcibly), Takeomi (tricked) and Itou (willing mastermind). They react to different videos or drama spills and have to (are forced to in Hirakos case) give opinions. People absolutely love them? In terms of the trolling, you may ask, it’s really just Itou dicking around. Not surprising, huh?

Yoshitoki uploads gopro footage of hiking, mildly interesting and very ASMR-esque.

Marude didn’t have a YouTube channel but Juuzou recorded his numerous breakdowns and uploaded them. He became a meme.

Urie uploads videos of his paintings and became very popular on the internet, though, he never shows his face. People are always so curiosity filled by his mystery and beautiful paintings. Shirazu once stormed in whilst Urie was having a livestream.

Ihei makes workout and fashion videos - what a combination! She always asks forces Koori to join her videos as a model, and Arima to introduce some workout techniques. People are struck by the trio.

definite miyuki vibes. the beat is so fun and catchy but once you understand the lyrics it's a bit sad. he's very popular, but he's not close with many people, so i guess this song kind of suits him.

the beat's pretty likeable and the lyrics of the song are meaningful to him. the song means 'change up' as in switching gears, so he listens to the song after they lose so that he remembers that one loss isn't the end of the world

i don't know why, but this song gives me kagami vibes. it would probably be on his workout playlist.

HAHAHA THIS SONG IS SO FUN. he'd definitely blast this everywhere and dance to it. it probably definitely pisses people off, not because of the song choice but because of how loud he's playing it (and screaming the lyrics). he loves to sing the rap in the beginning.

he came across the song when it was in a soccer compilation video. that eventually had got him into seventeen altogether, although he doesn't admit it to others.
