I know on this blog the main consensus (in older headcanons at least) for the Mii Fighters is that there are six main ones but...I've always seen it as the Smash 4 and Ultimate main three have actually been one in the same. Just older and stronger. Sure there are some differences between the two appearance wise, but since they are Miis, maybe they were able to alter their faces themselves, explaining how (besides there being a timeskip since then) that both iterations aren't identical.

I've seen both interpretations, and while I do lean more towards them being separate people, there's interesting concepts you could explore with them being the same people. I.E., unlike other fighters who tend to stay the same age/similar ages from one game to the next, the different appearances could be more indicative of a time skip.

Mii Brawler has short, spiked hair in SSB4 while having longer, shaggier hair in Ultimate, and both have hair swept in the same direction. It could have grown out.

SSBU's Mii Gunner is swept differently (going to the left rather than a center split) and looks a lot grayer than SSB4's Mii Gunner.

The Mii Swordfighter does show some age as he's gotten older too: his face is a little less soft around the edges and he's gotten a hair cut.

It would be an interesting way to show that, while some people are getting pulled for one Smash game at the same age that they got yoinked for another, there's still the passage of time within the Smash universe.

I need more roleplay partners

This is an active attempt at making people want to roleplay with me, because I just need more active ones, other than the one that I currently have (they're irreplaceable for sure!)

Now, my main genres are romance (usually the base), fantasy, action, medieval, sci-fi, gore, even angst, just no slice of life. I accept anything MxM, FxF, NBxNB, FxNB, MxNB, shipping OCs is cool, I really lean into the fantasy aspect with my OCs, but I mainly ship specific things from fandoms (I am quite sure that you will recognise at least one of these, trust me). I find gore completely fine and I come for drama, as long as it doesn't come out of nowhere. I write in a weird mix between semi-lit and literate. If I keep myself short, I either don't know what to write or I am preoccupied with something else at the moment. 18+ stuff is good too, I am 20 (I am a pure bottom, but not all that I roleplay is submissive, most of them stand their ground quite well). I am a very creative person, who will most likely find a plot in anything, so if you want to add things aswell, just let me know! My timezone is MET (Middle European Time), which mean that I am German.

Ideal Roster

There's a few ways to answer this question. The issue most often run into is an overabundance of 3rd party reps. These should be placed sparingly and fit within the artstyle of Smash. Again, Snake is fine but it would be weird for Leon Kennedy, Lara Croft, and Gordon Freeman no matter how important they are to gaming history. Importance is another thing. I had a friend suggest the characters from 'It Takes Two', an indie platformer. Whilst interesting they are nowhere near important enough. Shovel Knight could only get in as an Assist Trophy and Cuphead and Undertale are Mii Costumes. Another problem is the phenomena of the 3: Scrimblo Bimblo, Iconic Kickpunchem, and Popular McJRPG Guy; i.e cute mascot platformer, fighting gamer, and anime sword fighter. Now, I think there are enough anime swordfighters, you can't top Sephiroth and Hero, and the only other fighting series missing is Mortal Kombat. I wonder if an unstylised Scorpion would feel like Snake, so out of place that he fits right at home. I am very partial towards platformer mascots, I think they are the most fun characters. But let's not forgot that no one cares about Banjo-Kazooie now that they're playable. For a platformer mascot to be in the game, they'd have to be really unique. #1 ~ New rep for each series. DK, Kirby, Starfox, Mother, FE, Kid Icarus, Animal Crossing, Xenoblade, Street Fighter, FF, Castlevania, and every other one off are fine. I think they are perfectly represented. But if they were to have more: Dixie, Bandana Dee, Krystal, Porky, Lyn, Viridi or Phosphora, Tom Nook, Stupid animal from Xenoblade, Chun-Li, Celes Chere or the Black/White Mage, and Alucard. For potential/noteworhty one offs: Shy Guy for Yoshi, Jody Summers or Samurai Goroh or the Skull, Ashley or Mona or Jimmy T., Raiden, Eggman, Bulborb, Roll or Zero, Glass Joe (for jokes) or Soda Popinski or Mr. Sandman. No one else needs more or the character would be too similar. Now what about the major franchises? Mario, LotZ, Metroid, and Pokemon. Surprisingly, I think Pokemon needs the second most amount of work is Pokemon. Gen 2 has a joke character, Gen 4 has a clone, Gen 6 & 7 are actually pretty great, Gen 3 and 5 are missing, and Gen 1 has 6 reps (and Gen 8 & 9 suck). So Smeargle, and Gardevoir, Oshawott. The only one I need to defend is Smeargle. 2 things: Gen 2 sucks with Pokemon designs, Smeargle has a paintbrush tail. Simple as. Also, make Lucario special. Metroid. 3 Metroid reps are Samus and with Ridley now another big monster would feel unspecial, sorry Kraid. So, keeping in mind what I said about uniqueness, an actual Metroid or a Chozo. Mario. Definitely not Waluigi, remember Ridley is too big for Smash? Neither do I. King Boo, King Bob-omb, Koopa Troopa, Paper Mario, or a Hammer Bro. Now I'm just going to say this now, I don't think Mario needs any more reps so I'm not going to explain my choices. You know who does need a revamp? LotZ. Darunia, Midna, Hestu, and Tingle. All of them. Put them all in! #2 ~ MIA Golden Sun, Chibi-Robo, Advance Wars, Starfy, and Wrecking Crew, Excitebike, Waverace, Jam with the Band, Clu Clu land. Honestly, you could put the main character from each game in but there's such thing as too much representation and I think these characters work best as Assist Trophies. But, with the new Mario Movie, they should add ... Eggplant Man!

The NOT Half Demon Cosplayer

Well, it was inevitable I was going to get this pic one of these days! My sona dressed as one of my favourite characters of all time who uses his carefree and witty personality as a coping mechanism to deal with his depression he has from childhood trauma, Dante… Oh yeah, did I mention Dante’s actual backstory in this series is pretty depressing? Yeah, it’s not all pizza and guitars and briefcases that turn into rocket launchers and surviving being stabbed in the chest like it’s another casual day at the office.

There’s a lot of reasons as to why I love Dante. His actual personality for one thing but also his fashion sense. Not counting Reboot Dante I’m not even kidding when I saw Dante has consistently had some of the best drip in this series. And that goes for both his default costumes and his alts. Granted there aren’t many alts but still. And out of all his costumes in his wardrobe his classic DMC 1 costume has always been my favourite. Most of that is granted because of my own nostalgia towards DMC 1 as that was the only game in this series I had until I became an adult but also just because it's just a really good design in general. The red and black undershirt with the coat and pants with black boots just looks appropriately stylish. It’s pretty much the only costume I ever actually wear in 3 and the Definitive Edition of the Reboot. Also, I’m pretty sure even Capcom themselves love it two since Dante in the 2007 animated series uses his DMC 1 design, the Dante Costume for the Mii Swordfighter in Super Smash Bros Ultimate is this very costume, it can be found worn by one of the bots in the PlayStation 2 section of Astro’s Playroom and it can be worn in Monster Hunter World.

Obviously this isn’t me saying that it’s the objectively best costume in the series. It’s just my personal favourite and this is one of those things that purely personal preference. Though regardless of which Dante design is your fav at least literally anything is better than his default Reboot design. That “Dante” design makes about as much sense to me as the people who go on about all the issues with modern gaming but then turn around and defend the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 as if those things were not literally ground zero for many of the issues with modern gaming today.

(Hopefully this one goes through!) (2/5) as for MiiFighter, the Mii Brawler's name, it comes from a video on Nintendo's channel, "Play Nintendo - Super Smash Bros. Roundtable with Masahiro Sakurai" at about 2:30. This one is actually the default/canon Mii Brawler, but I think it's safe to say that MiiFighter is a placeholder name, not his canon name. These three names are mentioned on TV Tropes, Smash Bros characters 50-55 page, Mii Fighters in General section, as the Canon Name trope

(1/5) Lots of Mii names facts coming up! I remember an ask a while ago mentioning the Mii fighter's canon names. I looked it up, and Ken and Sophia, Swordfighter and Gunner respectively, turned out to be Guest B and Guest F (default Miis). The screenshots with the names I ended up finding on supersmashbros(.)fandom(.)com, and they're apparently from Sakurai posting daily pics of SSB4 on Miiverse, November 20th 2014 for Ken, and August 28th 2014 for Sophia

One source I found (Mii Library site) said their names were かくとうF (Kakuto F) for Brawler, けんじゅつE (Kenjutsu E) for Swordfighter, and しゃげきJ (Shageki J) for Gunner, while another (Wii Facts Plus tumblr) said けんじゅつぅ(Kenjutsu) for Swordfighter and しゃげきお (Shagekio) for Gunner, and still けんじゅつE (Kenjutsu E) for Brawler

(4/5) I don't know know Japanese in the slightest, but those may simply be alternate spellings/phrasings of their official Japanese titles, taking from ssbwiki(.)com, Mii格闘タイプ (Mii kakutō taipu) for Brawler, Mii剣術タイプ (Mii kenjutsu taipu) for Swordfighter, and Mii射撃タイプ (Mii shageki taipu). But again, I know nothing about Japanese, and I'm just using my sources' translations, so I could be completely off

I tend to rotate around characters but I would say my main is Kirby :) He's really fun to play with; strong, but also quick and floaty.

Other than Kirby, I lean more towards swordfighters like Toon Link, Meta Knight, Mii Swordfighter and Lucina.

My favorite stage is probably Tortimer Island. It's nice and wide and pretty to look at. A couple of my other favorites are Pokémon Stadium 2, Spirit Train (that one gets chaotic, I love it), and Final Destination.

And I have a few characters I wish got into smash, I'll just list a couple for the sake of simplicity, haha.

I really wish Skull Kid got to be a fighter, but it's nice he's at least an assist trophy. Same with Midna, those two are my favorite LoZ characters and it's fun to see them even if they never got to be playable.

My boy Bandanna Dee is still separated from all his friends and I'm sad he never got in :( I would love for another Kirby rep in general, Bandee being an obvious choice but also the final boss from Forgotten Land would be a cool addition. It's very recent, but it has a cool design and would make for an interesting fighter.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate – Mr. Sakurai Presents "Kazuya"

DLC character Kazuya Mishima from Tekken will launch via “Challenger Pack No. 10” on June 29, 2021 for $5.99 individually or with the “ Fighters Pass Vol. 2”.
