i always forget how short marky is compared to everyone else.....

#what makes it funnier is dhes is not even that tall. literally only 5'7 #5'8 on a good day #today i'm working on zip tie's death scene (hence...... marky)#then i have a roadkill scene to do & a red scene #& that might be it #i may........ do one more after that but i've already made 6 scenes so the edit is getting pretty long #i wanted to do more stuff with the side characters but i realized that most of their arcs are only loosely planned #& i don't want to make anything & then change my mind about it later #so i decided to only make scenes that are totally 100% set in stone in the story #i also wanted to try to include some lore about the actual apocalypse & how it started but i just don't know if i can make it fit #i'll probably need to do more than one of these types of edits tbh #which is fine actually bc these are kind of fun #this post is probably just gonna be about the main 7 plus cricket #cricket is like... the honorary 8th main character to me #my lil sad guy #rainyrambles

I have answered this a couple times BUT I am a wishy-washy person and enjoy changing my mind at a moment's notice and as the plot demands. So, I don't mind reclarifying!

For now, I got the Main Group's Maximum Heights, and People Who Notably WILL Have a Height Change Eventually. People who aren't noted to have a height change are probably already at maximum height (Kai is a potential exception, and this does not apply to Pixal who fluctuates)

Like I said, not fully committed to any of this yet (except Jay cuz I need this for a very specific moment in Skybound), but that is currently what I have decided for now ahaha

it's so bizarre to me that hi is certainly taller than tory. like, doing the math from context clues, he's reasonably tall. i don't know why that feels weird. like objectively i've known this for ages but i just always subconsciously picture him about tory's height

#max rants about virals #if you care about the math here's my line of thinking #we only have one concrete height ever: tory is 5'5 when she's 14 #that's pretty tall for a 14 year old girl. ben is ALWAYS tall. he's probably 5'10 at 16 and might hit 6 feet or so by terminal or spike #i imagine tory gets no taller than 5'7 by the time she's 16. that would be the logical pattern and she doesn't comment on getting any talle #shelton is just a little guy. like not THAT little but i'm estimating 5'5/5'6 #he's short but not unusually short and i could see him having a rapid growth spurt at some point. anyway in swipe he makes a comment #about ben being twice his size (not literally obviously but it's a good indication of their relative heights)#but hi isn't too far off. from ben. who is tall. which means hi is tall. i don't know why that's so hard to wrap my head around #i would say at that point he's at least 5'8 #BUT he doesn't ever get any taller than 5'9. that's not math it's just my guess #when they're adults i think ben will be 6'1 tory will be 5'8 or 5'9 hi will be 5'9 and shelton will be 5'10 #i'm really banking on shelton having that growth spurt #……i say will as if they're not all entering their thirties #SHELTON WILL BE THIRTY THIS YEAR.#i don't like it here (the passage of time)

Listen the realization that Foxy is small makes me feel like I'm in love with him. It's personally a whole thing for me that tall guys are scary and I feel less comfortable around tall men. I'm 5'3 at best and the realization that there is No Fucking Way Foxy is 5'11 makes me happy. It makes him cuter and more approachable and I feel even more attracted to him
