REPLICA PLAYLIST
MUSIC UNDER CUT
I have been receiving requests for any songs that inspired Replica, so here, have my personal playlist. Sorry it’s not Spotify/Soundcloud but they don’t have some of these songs available so uh… guess you’re stuck with YouTube vids. For fun I'll include my personal titles for them (which might give a few hints of what to expect in the future/end).

I will admit, it's a little embarrassing since you can easily see the patterns of what I've been listening to for the past year or two. I swear I listen to more than just videogame OSTs, these songs just jive well with the story and I often find lyrics distracting when brainstorming scenes. Regardless, the music I listen to is such an important part of my creative process and some of these songs really defined the scenes I now have locked in my head. So I figured it was only fair to give them the credit they're due.
I will continue to add to this playlist, and will note in comic updates when one of these songs is applicable!
#lofi Donnie anyone?#also sort of celebration for 19k followers wow#should I do something else for it?#I particularly like Leo's theme being titled Ego Death#very fitting#Also the final song makes me cry because the lyrics are just too dang perfect#I'd like to do an animatic with the song when this story is all done#check out the lyrics if you get the chance#in fact I'd like to do an animatic trailer for the Book 2 Teaser#we'll see though#i can't allow myself to get too distracted from the comic itself haha#replica#rottmnt replica#kathaynesart#playlist#music#spoilers? but like... you know how it ends in the movie so not really?#kind of?#did you see the rise movie?#then you’ve been spoiled sorry#posting again at an ungodly hour#I am tired#save rottmnt#rottmnt#TMNT#Donatello#casey jones

Just had a thought:
Jumping off off the moments where izuku tried to talk to his peers, Aoyama leaving, feeling like he failed Tenko, losing OFA, and feeling overall disconnected suddenly(at least, we can read between the lines that he is) from his peers and even from his dream...
What if this epilogue includes Izuku considering LEAVING UA? Has anyone else had the thought that he may end up there?
The logic being that once he has no Quirk, he won't fit into the Hero course. And if he represses all of these emotions like we think he is, he might take that to mean that he doesn't deserve a spot in the Hero course, and have the idea to withdraw.
Obviously this all needs to pan out BUT what if this thing with his friends almost blowing him off, just kind of adds to that negative feeling? Like makes him feel a certain way, like they're already moving on without him?
So he comes to a conclusion that maybe he should withdraw. His friends react of course as you expect they would, likely being shocked and sad, but also knowing hes going through a lot, and so trying to be supportive no matter what? They tell him "hey you dont have to, you have a place with us", but ultimately will support his decision without fighting him too hard, as the case with Aoyama seems to be...but it's REALLY KATSUKI who takes it home. Who NEEDS to take it home, and say what the others won't.
It's Katsuki who confronts him, and has to talk him down from the idea.
And what if that's how we get a Kacchan v Deku 3? Which does not have to be, and really needn't be a literal fight.
It just needs to be that long awaited airing out of all of the unspoken feelings, mainly Izukus feelings of failure (failing to protect Katsuki during the war, failing to save Tomura/Tenko, failing to even hold on to his own dream, ie OFA) and what it all means for his future.
How he thinks logically, if his quirk runs out eventually, he can't be Quirkless in the Hero class. How that dashes all hopes of staying a Pro Hero in the future...
Maybe even what he is thinking about society and pro heroism as a whole now!
Katsukis got to convince him that He is a hero, deserves to be a hero more than anyone. Maybe even concedes that even if the dream of being a hero traditionally speaking has changed, there are so many other ways he can continue making a difference.
How much of a difference he has already made.
And that is when it gets personal, and katsuki confesses further, "you've made all the difference in the world to me already" or something. Maybe spills some more sentimental feelings. Maybe Izuku finally spills some of his, maybe we get a hand hold and or an embrace....
And katsuki makes him promise that he won't give up yet. And if he has to leave the Hero course, he switch to one of the other courses in UA to continue his dream in another route. And promising to be with him every step of the way.
And maybe idk, suggesting they be Hero Partners and open an agency together or something romantic like that. Lmao.
Throw in maybe a little bit of spice somewhere about Katsuki getting worked up and Izuku having a moment of worry about his heart/health and Katsuki retorting that his heart is fine and not to derail their conversation by "worrying about my stupid heart"
Bonus points if there are tears involved, there usually are lol.
#bnha spoilers#bakudeku#bkdk#bakugou katsuki#izuku midoriya#what if though#late night thoughts#epilogue speculation#kacchan crying as he tells izuku how much of a difference hes made in his life would be splendid#kacchan crying as he begs izuku not to go#just kacchan crying bc ylhe usually does in the deku v kacchan chapters#i like the idea especially of kacchan telling Izu he doesnt have to leave ua#he can just switch course and still be there#and still live his dream in a different way#i think that would be SO GOOD#considering what he was like a the beginning#encouraging izu and suggesting alternatives that keep them together#oof#the angst and drama#but also the hopefulness in the message#horikoshi i am outside your window

Shoutout Sunday
I just wanted to collect some of the most memorable Astarion fanfics I've read so far and to give them and their authors a big ol' shoutout. These are some of the fics I strongly suggest others to check out, if you haven't yet.
Also, please feel free to comment and recommend your favorites as well! And, if you know of some of these authors on tumblr, lemme know, so I can add them too :) I'm not too good with words, so I'll be slapping some of the authors own words as descriptions (for now). Oh, and do be mindful of tags etc etc... Here goes, in no particular order:
Pieces Still Stuck In Your Teeth by howlsmovinglibrary (@wetcatspellcaster) "The Vampire Ascendent has crossed a line. Eleven years after making the biggest mistake of her life and losing the man she loved, tiefling wizard (now Archmage) Rosalie decides it’s time to put this Astarion in the ground for good. Hopefully, both her head and her heart are strong enough to see this awful task through to its end."
An Honest Lie by howlsmovinglibrary (@wetcatspellcaster) "Astarion and Rosalie think they understand each other perfectly, but they have each fallen prey to the other’s mask. As they both go forward with their adventure, will either of them dare to be honest?"
A Crooked Touch by eyes_of_the_lamb "If you want to read a story where Astarion is sweet from the start and Tav is here to fix him, this isn't the one. If you want to read about two terribly broken men spending a good long while making each other worse before they make each other better, this might be for you. If you thought the in-game romance was a little too easy and it should have been ten times more painful and difficult to convince Astarion he's worthy of love, this is definitely for you."
Perfect Slaughter by Imagineitdear (@imagineitdearies ) "Tyrus, a low-born drow with aspirations for necromantic wizardry, finds none of the hospitality he expected from his new noble patron, Cazador Szarr. Quickly he loses his life and future, his hopes and dreams—only to find something new to fight for in the unlikely arms of Cazador’s least favorite spawn."
A Novel Experience by meanboss (@meanbossart ) "Initially just an epilogue for my own game campaign with my big meaty dark urge drow, turned whole story which I accidentally deleted and am now reuploading, my bad LOL
Hope you enjoy!"
Carving Through The Dark by skitter "The realm is safe and the story is over.
Wren and Astarion descend into the Underdark in search of a new purpose, and learn a few things along the way. Namely, that healing isn't linear and sometimes love takes the long way round."
Blood In The Weave by gingealish "There is no need to breathe, but I miss it all the same. The suffocating silence, the desperate darkness have encapsulated me for I don’t even know how long; It could have been tendays or years. I’ve long since accepted my punishment, stopped trying in vain to crack the seal of my tomb against the onslaught of panic and hunger. Now I lay here, thinking of the friends I’ve lost, the lover who turned on me, and how to finally get even.
Astarion is the new Big Bad Evil Guy. Spawn Tav is rescued by a familiar face. "
When He’s all but Forgotten How to Love Again by bg_brainrot "You saved Baldur’s Gate almost 300 years ago. You died 150 years ago. On a new life now, you find that memories from your past lead you to a specific silver-haired man. Who was he, and why won't he leave you be? tldr; An Elf-Tav reincarnation story where Tav dreams about Astarion in their nightly reveries and eventually seeks him out once they reach maturity. Things definitely totally go well."
More Than Any Words by mataglap "They have saved the city and possibly the world. All is great and everyone is happy... except Astarion has been banished back into the shadows, and Tav is stuck in an uneven battle with his own oath. He's losing the fight. He knew he would from the moment he fell for Astarion. But he can't lose yet, not before they find a way for Astarion to walk in the sun again."
Inexhaustible Oil by homeward_bound "This is the absolute opposite of a redemption fic. A post-canon, fall-from-grace, "I can make you infinitely worse" kind of story, in which there is no simple happy ending. But there's mystery on the way. And dragons. True love, even. So if you're fine with that, come aboard. It's going to be a wild ride."

You’re one of the most annoying people on this site. And that really says A LOT because WOW! Shut the Fuck up about Gale wanting to be a father or not. He never says that he doesn’t want to be one. You projecting things onto him doesn’t make it Canon.
on a serious note: i’m certainly not the one that continuously brings up this topic unprompted. i personally really don’t understand the entire controversy around the topic or why fandom feels the need to rehash this conversation almost weekly. i truly believe that there’s nothing more of value to learn from it, to address, or add to it… yet fandom won’t let it rest.
to once again clarify: what i mean by “gale wanting to be a father isn’t canon” is that there is no evidence/neither hints anywhere in any of the dialogue that support the contrary. characters like h*lsin, w*ll and la*’zel have entire adoption subplots. all of them mention their children explicitly during the epilogue:
narrator: *your soul warms thinking of lily aurora ravengard, your adopted daughter. a treasure of a girl, found at the entrance of the open hand temple - one grey eye, one brown.* w*ll: ah, the girl could melt the staunchest heart. she might even have brought a smile to old withers' face! w*ll: but tonight is for us - and lily's only four months of age, besides. i promise, the temple will keep her in good care.
player: and our little hatchling? is he safe? la*'zel: of course. i have complete trust in our newest allies. xan is in fine hands tonight. la*'zel: what a wonder he is. he will be a fine warrior, if he chooses. or a poet, or an explorer, or a scholar.
h*lsin: being away from it... i cannot help but worry how they will fare in our absence. player: we'll be back before they know it. h*lsin: i hope so. the children shall miss their bedtime tale tonight - though perhaps i can glean a few new stories from our friends here, to make up for it.
even shad*wh*art has a line where she briefly mentions that children might be a possibility for her in the future.
shad*wh*art: and i get to see my parents almost every day - i need to make every moment with them count, after so much was stolen from us. but they're doing well, [...] shad*wh*art: who knows? perhaps they'll have grandchildren before long.
gale in comparison? he has none of that. he remains childfree during the entirety of the game + epilogue. in fact, his line in the epilogue that addresses the topic of grandkids is this one:
tara: this is why mrs. dekarios and i will be waiting an eternity more for grandchildren. nodecontext: self-pitying gale: psst! shoo, tara. nodecontext: shooing away tara like one would a naughty cat.
i already wrote a post about this entire discourse here [x] but to repeat myself once more: all of the dialogue that vaguely addresses the topic of children in any way in regards to gale are these snippets
player: gale… how would you feel about having another person in our relationship? gale: what, like a child? i’m not quite sure i’d consider myself father material, plus our current lifestyle isn’t exactly what i’d call settled…
gale, upon spotting oliver during their game of hide and seek: ah, i have you! just a shame i don’t want you.
gale treating the children the group comes across with respect isn’t an indicator either. this is a courtesy gale extends to everyone he meets. he’s a character that approves of a protagonist who systematically commits good deeds. whether it’s sparing animals, helping without compensation in mind, or aiding children. wanting children to be cared for… and you know… for them not to die is common etiquette that every adult should extend to a child in need. those are not “dad goals!!!” it’s quite literally just basic human decency. gale is genuinely kind and caring to everyone he meets, there is no reason why this also wouldn’t apply to children.
i often see fandom mention his encounter with mol at last light and how excited he is to talk to her. which i think greatly misinterprets the context of the scenario since he didn’t have much of a reaction to mol before either — gale is ecstatic about lanceboard. again evident by his reaction to the party finding the life-sized board during the wyrmway trials, and how he immediately offers to give tav pointers. explaining different approaches to them in enthusiastic detail if they allow him to. the man just really likes lanceboard… as well as being the smartest person in the room.
gale: ah, lanceboard! why, this might just be the highlight of our misadventures to date.
gale: lanceboard happens to be a game with which i have more than a passing familiarity. might i offer a suggestion? nodecontext: gale's a badass lanceboard player, anticipating showing off
if you want to headcanon your tav and gale raising a big family together that is more than fine and no one is stopping you. whatever you want to happen to these two after the storyline of the game is up to your respective fantasies. no one is policing you on what you should do with your own character. go wild and create whatever fan content you wish, no justification required.
yet once again, as there is no mention in canon anywhere — neither in the main game nor the epilogue — that this is something gale would ever want (whether that may mean immediately or somewhere down the line) gale wanting to be a father remains a headcanon. while gale being childfree is explicitly shown in the game, in strict comparison to other companions that either have children by the end of the game or voice the desire to (eventually) have them.
my personal preferences are of no relevance here whatsoever. i care about accurate and correct characterization and will point out inconsistencies/false information no matter the topic. i, for one, want to appreciate these characters in the way they're written, not how i ideally want them to be.
#also i can live with being annoying#at least i don’t go out of my way to send anon hate to random strangers on the internet#asks#it speaks#fandom discourse#dad!gale#bg3#gale dekarios#bg3 meta#summed up: gale is for the cf crowd

The Locked Tomb Series- Alecto Theory
Brace yourselves this is 3000 words of me connecting dots that aren't even there.
First things first, this post is an amalgam of various brilliant theories I have seen posted on Tumblr, so if anything feels familiar, that will be the main reason. I am just going to present my own take on this, and hopefully add something new to what we already have.
The subjects of today’s conspiracy theory are Alecto and Anastasia -and Cassiopeia in part, the vow to Anastasia’s bloodline and what could very possible be, Dios Apate MAJOR.
So let’s start with what we have from the books, and feel free to correct me or add sth I might have forgotten.
Anastasia and Samael are the only ones of the original Lyctor batch, that didn’t complete the Lyctorhood process, thanks to - in no small part – John, and/or possibly Alecto. (“I am sorry about Samael). Which could mean that Alecto was somehow involved in the whole process going wrong, and thus she feels responsible for Samael’s death, or that she was close enough with Anastasia and Samael, that she herself felt Samael’s loss, or she felt for Anastasia’s grief. (I like to believe that they did have a tentative friendship even before the vow thing happened.)
Anastasia is also the only one of the Lyctors we know, so far, to have had children. Which is an important bit on its own, (Can full Lyctors, have children? If so, are they different from other children, necromantic or not? Is there a reason that in spite of biological capability- if it exists-the other Lyctors have chosen not to have children? Even with Augustine’s and Mercymorn’s plan we see that in the end Gideon is conceived with Wake’s material – John is a whole different story as far as Lyctorhood goes so he doesn’t count.)
Back to our discussion though, Anastasia’s bloodline was so important to the Ninth House that it has been preserved for 10.000 years. We do not really get a clear picture on whether the Reverend Family knows why the continuation of the bloodline is important, Harrow certainly doesn’t, but it was so deeply ingrained to them that Anastasia’s bloodline must remain intact, that they effectively committed genocide, dooming the House’s future, in order to produce one more direct descendant of the Saint that wasn’t.
We do get a hint, a rather big one, on why the preservation of Anastasia’s blood is so important, in Nona’s Epilogue. Alecto states that Harrow is “the blood of the tombkeeper” after kissing her and drawing blood. What did she taste on Harrow’s blood I wonder? And how did she recognize the taste, as the taste of Anastasia’s line? Did the vow she initially made to Anastasia herself involve them drawing blood? Did it bind them to one another, so deeply that they ingrained themselves into each other on a molecular level?
To add to this, young Harrow, young desolate Harrow, who had had enough with her life and was prepared to die, young Harrow who opened the Tomb for that express purpose, loves Alecto from sight. And decides to keep living for her. And there is something exceedingly weird to just how much Harrow loves Alecto. Alecto is probably the most attractive person Harow lay her eyes upon to that day, true, but this instant infatuation, and its persistence throughout the years has something more to it, don’t you think? As Gideon points out, both to herself and to Ianthe, Harrow’s heart belongs to the dead cold body in the Tomb. And said cold dead body in the Tomb, recognizes Harrow from sight when she wakes “Alecto recalled her, for it was a face once dreamed in Alecto’s dream.”
And this line begs the question. Could Alecto dream, in the tomb? If so, how? And what did she dream of? Did she dream of Harrow? Why did she dream of Harrow if that is the case? Or did she dream of Anastasia, and the resemblance is that great? On the other hand, if this refers to Harrow first opening the Tomb, and looking at Alecto, does that mean that she was in some form conscious throughout that stasis? Does this mean that she could have heard and felt Anastasia while they were both locked in the Tomb, for however long the other woman lived?
(The scene where Nona describes the feeling of Anastasia's hands in the water and feeling safe. I am going to cry.)
I do have an interesting theory about Alecto’s “dreams” but we’ll get there in a bit.
Something else that is fishy, is that the Ninth, is the House of the Sewn Tongue. It sounds a bit like too much flesh magic for a bone magic house to specialize in, right? The cure to the Sewn Tongue on the other hand? Removing the mandible and all that? That sounds like a Bone Magic solution to a flesh magic problem. And I wonder if the fact that the Ninth House’s emblem is the Jawless skull, insinuates that the Ninth is not so much a house where many secrets are kept – though this is undoubtedly true, as the Ninth is known as the House of secrets by the other houses – as much that in the Ninth, all secrets are revealed. Where the sewn tongue is healed, and the truth comes to light. And I’d like to point out that it sounds a bit like foreshadowing, and a promise. Anastasia has been betrayed by John and sworn to secrecy, and then locked in the Tomb to die and take his secrets with her. I feel like the jawless skull acts as a constant reminder, that even with the sewn tongue, all curses can be broken, and all secrets will eventually come to light. And it feels like a promise to John, that her House, the house of secrets and unspoken truths, will be the one to rid of the sewn tongue and bring the truth he so fears forward. And this aligns a tad too well with the Sixth’s mantra, Six for the truth, over solace in lies.
And you know what else fits here, in this concordance of the Sixth and Ninth Houses? Cassiopeia and Anastasia’s friendship. Their alliance if you will. We know they both worked closely together trying to figure out the perfect Lyctorhood process, and it is possible that Anastasia made her attempt a bit before Cassiopeia. The exact same attempt, that performed in perfect conditions ended in failure, with John ultimately killing Samael.
We also know that Cassiopeia left contingency plans in place, should the emperor become a hindrance to the empire. And from what we have seen of Cassiopeia in the books, it is safe to assume that she is driven, determined, exceedingly intelligent, perceptive, logical, and excellent at planning. She is also the one to point out John’s less than favorable qualities pre-Resurrection such as his interest in taking vengeance on those that wronged him being bigger in his interest to save lives.
So, we have, Cassiopeia and her logic driven, truth seeking brilliance, and Anastasia, the thorough, overly methodical researcher. We have them both working on perfect Lyctorhood, and we have them both, in one way or another, being betrayed by John. Chances are, that they were the first post Resurrection to notice John’s flaws, the first to concoct a plan against him. But contrary to Cytherea, Mercy and Augustine, they are more subtle than those cannonball attempts. No, I believe they planned. And they planned long term, and together. Cassiopeia left her House a note, left them instructions, she was preparing them for when John would become a liability. And then an aforementioned amount of time later, Anastasia is asked to design the tomb.
We do not really know anything about Alecto’s relationships with the other lyctors apart from the fact that most found her revolting, a “monster” in Mercy’s words. So here is a thought, perhaps Anastasia, the one of the original Eight to never ascend, perhaps the one whose failure Alecto was involved in – “I am sorry about Samael” – finds kinship in John’s unnerving pet, his undead “cavalier”, the one he betrayed first, the soul of earth. Perhaps they even became friends. Perhaps she and Cassiopeia realize the extend of what John has done and realize that Alecto is the key to undoing it. When John refuses to kill Alecto to appease the others, the plan fully forms.
So, they construct the tomb. And Cassiopeia is well-known for building mechanisms within houses, so maybe her and Anastasia create secret passages, and mechanisms with extra access to the tomb that would be independent of John sneaking in, or whatever he planned to do with that blood-ward. And hear me out, we know that Cassiopeia stayed 7 minutes in the river before being torn apart by the resurrection beast – at Mercymorn’s account at least, not sure how reliable of a narrator she is. But what happened during those seven minutes? Paul says he thinks he knows how to get to the Locked Tomb via the River. So, the river and the Tomb are connected. What did Cassiopeia do, I wonder? (Here I’d like to say that my other theory is that she did eventually die, or rather was consumed by Varun the eater, much like Judith Deuteros was. The RB burned through her in what, a couple months? How long would a Lyctor last? Perhaps that was the reason that Varun didn’t resurface until 100 years after Cassiopeia’s presumed death. She could have been alive and slowly wasting away, while still making failsafe within failsafe until she lost her sense of self and eventually wasted away)
To recap until now, the first part of my theory is that Anastasia and Cassiopeia dissatisfied with the world John had made and the truth he had served them, probably worked together to find the truth. And they worked together from the shadows, to create a plan, a long-term plan, with which they could bring John down if the need ever arose, and undo what he had done. And Anastasia’s bloodline and their secrets are really bloody important to that plan. (Also, some nice symbolism about the Ninth being about secrets revealed, rather than secrets kept, and that functioning as a bit of foreshadowing.)
Now into the second part of my theory. Anastasia’s bloodline is so important because she has bound her bloodline to Alecto. And I think this happened in the premise of the Vow Alecto has made to her, or they have made to each other. This might be part of the initial vow, of which we know nothing about, apart from the fact that Alecto pledged herself to Anastasia, and that it is important enough that she pledges herself to Harrow, or a failsafe within it. A failsafe to ensure that should Alecto wake after Anastasia has passed, she will not be fooled by any imposters, or anything else John might have planned. Or perhaps, a failsafe to ensure that even if John changes his mind and finds a way to rid of the body within the tomb, to “kill” Alecto, she will not be completely gone, she will keep existing within Anastasia’s line, thus ensuring that the plan for John’s demise can still be enacted and that the soul of the earth will not be dead.
That plays really hard in the Alecto is within Harrow from the beginning theory. And I will explain. I believe I saw something that looked like this in Twitter by lesbian_mothman, but I do not really remember so I apologize if all this has been said before.
In all the dream chapters with John, we relive memories from just before and after the resurrection, and John talks to Harrow as if she is Alecto “You always say that Harrowhark” as a response to “I still love you.” Or when Varun recognizes the Earth’s soul “green thing” within Nona in the car chase scene, or when Judith regaining consciousness asks “Harrowhark?” and Nona replies, “No, and I never was.” So that begs the question of how much of Harrow is Harrow, how much is Alecto and how much are the 200 souls within her? (And there was a crowd of dead children there. They were striving loudly against living children on the far-off shore of the tomb. CHILLS)
In Nona we learn that Palamedes and Camila on the one hand and Pyrrha on the other have two different theories about who Nona is. The Sixth believe that she is an amalgam of Gideon and Harrow, and Pyrrha believes she is Alecto, golden eyes and all. And I am more inclined to believe that it is indeed Alecto, or at least a part of her, that resides within Harrow, and took the wheel when both Harrow and Gideon were gone. Think abt it. Gideon is back in her body, and we have no idea what the hell happened to Harrow, only that she doesn’t have the wheel, and Nona acts nothing like Harrow or Gideon did. It’s like she is learning how to be human for the first time. She learns how to love and be loved for the first time. So with no soul to govern the body, the part of Alecto within Harrow takes the wheel.
And then there is the candle metaphor in NtN. Alecto’s soul is the candle passed from one necromantic heir of the Ninth to the other.
So long story short, part of the vow, if not all of it, is that part of Alecto will always live within Anastasia’s descendants, so long as they are necromancers. And here comes the part of Alecto’s dreams. Because if indeed she lives within the souls of Anastasia’s necromantic descendants, does she see through their eyes? Does she feel through their hearts? Does she dream of their lives, while locked in the Tomb, while a part of her lives in them? Is she conscious within them? Or does the whole thing act like a cavalier- lyctor sort of connection, where she cannot take the wheel unless the other soul in the body Is gone?
Part of her soul is bound to Anastasia’s line, and they are bound to her, and over the course of 10.000 years do they spill over? Alecto to Anastasia’s descendants and they to Alecto. Was this part of the plan to have a failsafe within Anastasia’s line in case something happened to the body in the Tomb? Was it a promise Anastasia made to Alecto, to give her a chance to live, to be human, through the lives of her own descendants?
All in all, I guess I could some it up in a few concise points.
Cassiopeia and Anastasia worked closely together, they were friends and allies and saw in John, the unfulfilled promises he made, and all the faults he tried to cover with rewriting his own version of history.
They decide to make a plan, a long term one, a detailed one, for when John is more a liability than it is worth. And thus, Cassiopeia creates the mechanisms in the Sixth and leaves the protocols for the rest to find. Truth over solace in lies.
Meanwhile Anastasia attempts to ascend, and John kills Samael. Alecto might be consciously or unconsciously involved and harbors guilt over Samael’s death.
Anastasia probably befriends Alecto or finds kinship with this strange being that is the soul of a planet that no longer is.
The planning continues and John after being asked to kill Alecto decides to lock her in the Tomb instead and has Anastasia design it. He later asks her to stay in the tomb and guard Alecto. (Antigone style)
Anastasia designs the tomb, probably with Cassiopeia’s help, probably with a few hidden mechanisms of its own and or a secret pathway through the river, an extra way out.
At some point, Anastasia sires a line, and she makes her vow with Alecto.
The vow probably is in regards of bounding Alecto to Anastasia’s line so long as there are necromantic heirs. A part of Alecto is constantly alive within each descendant of Anastasia’s.
It might work a bit like the lyctoral process, because Alecto only takes the wheel when there is no Harrow and no Gideon in Nona’s body, aka when there doesn’t seem to be another soul guiding it.
Alecto dreams. Whether she dreams of herself within the tomb and that’s how she recognizes Harrow on sight – from the memory of Harrow first unlocking the Tomb – or her dreams are glimpses of the lives Anastasia’s descendants lead I don’t know.
Alecto is thus bound to Anastasia’s line by blood. She recognizes Harrow by her blood, tasting either Anastasia, or the part of herself residing within it, when she kisses her. It also ensures that the line is intact the vow is intact and it’s not a pretender trying to fool her.
Anastasia and Cassiopeia planned to bring John down by opening the tomb when the time was right and leaving her to Alecto’s (and the RB’S???) mercy. There is still a lot left to be explored.
The tomb is to remain closed until the time has come God has to die. We can all see how that can be misinterpreted to > if the tomb opens God will die. And instead of a promise to be fulfilled it becomes a terrible terrible thing, that will spell everyone’s doom.
The freaking skull of the ninth is a threat, a foreshadow and a promise. The Ninth was a house that should have died with Anastasia in the tomb. But it didn’t. It continued existing its bloodline unbroken for 10.000 years. Nine for the tomb and all that was lost. The Ninth is predominantly I feel a house of mourning – the whole nuns, all black, and skull makeup thing. But it is also a house of secrets. It is a house represented by the cure to even the tightest secret held. So the Ninth, the house that should never have been the house that should have died with its secrets in the tomb of its inception, is the one that will break the sewn tongue, and reveal all the secrets, bringing the truth to light.

Have you thought about porting CSAU into unofficial collection? I've just been thinking how awesome it'd be to have it archived just in case. Plus, it's finished.
Sounds like a really cool idea and I could do that at some point, but not in the near future. I have to work on the epilogue and commissions to save for a trip, and Eldritch is busy with the CSAU fan dub along with probably other stuff.
I might add it when things are less hectic

Gold Dust Woman | Epilogue
A quick glimpse into the future.
Pairing: Jake Kiszka x f!reader
Word count: 3.5k
Warnings: tooth rotting sweetness 🫶🏻
I couldn’t end this series without some fluff, come on now. Hopefully Jake lane takes this as a sufficient apology for breaking your hearts for a while 😁 thank you all for being the best, and as always, enjoy, be kind, and don’t mind any grammar mistakes.
It’s astounding just how much can change in a year and six months. Your home, although decorated the same, was completely rid from the demons of loneliness that once haunted the building. If you looked hard enough, you could see the areas that once appeared empty beginning to fill with memories of love. Pictures hung in expensive frames, small items littered on counters and shelves to remind you that behind the door, it was no longer just your own life contained inside, it was two. Shampoo bottles standing side by side in the shower, two toothbrushes sitting beside the sink, and two coffee mugs always paired together no matter dirty or clean. A Les Paul and an SG always taking post in the living room, illuminated by the sunlight during the day and blanketed with moonlight during the night. A record collection that had doubled in size, and a bed that only ever previously had one messy side was now in constant disarray. Your clothes no longer littered the floors by their lonesome, because there were plenty of button-ups and t-shirts from another wardrobe to keep them company.
In a year and six months, your house was completely different from the one it used to be. It was filled with laughter, light, and a promise of forever. It was something you never thought the world would bless you with, yet it seemed to surprise you more every day. Although more messy, your home was more inviting than it had ever been. You owed it all to one person, and it was not yourself. Jake had made the sorrow excuse for a wooden shack into your most favourite place in the entire world. He had filled up every empty corner with materialistic items, and the rest with his heart to remind you that as long as he was living, you would never need to be alone again.
It was also intriguing to see just how little things changed in the same time period. You thought that after eighteen months of the same thing every day, you might become bored or outgrow the habits you had fallen into, but neither were true. Your heart still sang with joy each morning, and your body still felt the same peace as it did the day he asked you to be his girlfriend. You worried that the happiness would wear off and you would find yourself stuck in the misery you had been so familiar with your entire life, yet it never made a return. As much as you feared change that might come, it was only proven further with every day that passed that the rest of your life was destined to be just as it was; happy, comfortable, and prosperous. You were eternally grateful for the stability, and you hoped to live in the bubble of elation for the rest of your days.
After the tour came to an end, you all packed up your things with worry about the future. Gold Dust Woman as a band had no plans, yet a following that was steadily growing larger as time went on. Greta Van Fleet was large in their popularity, destined for more fame without a doubt about it. With a new relationship, you feared that distance might add a pressure to your life that you were not equipped to handle, but when the homecoming plane landed, it only took a few moments to decide that Jake would be moving in with you. There was not a hesitation in the process, and it comforted you to know that even if he was gone, he was still all around you.
Finding inspiration in your own leap of faith, Danny and Dylan followed your footsteps not too long after. With your personal lives settled, you thought that as a next step, recording music would be your newest and most exciting adventure. You were not wrong in assuming so, and within the first six months, you had ten songs prepared and awaiting for your first ever EP as a band. You were picked up by a label in no time, and the producing process began. It was a tedious time of relentless marketing and interviews, including a few more gigs for short tours as an opening act for other bands. Now, with the PR out of the way and a team of your own, you were anxiously awaiting the arrival of your very first physical copy of your own record.
Midway through your journey with touring, you had taken a small break to come home and spend time with Jake before he left for his own tour. During your visit, you were pleased to find out that Sam had met someone who turned his world upside down. You were lucky enough to meet her and discover that she was everything he had ever dreamed of, and he was happier than you had ever seen him before. Thus began your quick work at repairing your friendship, finding it incredibly easy to open yourselves back up to each other and return to what you used to be before the brothers relentless conquest for your heart. The world seemed perfect, and although the hurt you experienced during the battle was debilitating, the damage was minimal compared to the prosperity of the future. The scars were white, long gone from memory and replaced by stretch marks that formed from being so full of love and happiness.
You had always been the type to gag at the thought of a fairytale ending, yet now that you were living amidst one, you could finally understand why so many people craved it so desperately. You could not imagine returning to the lifestyle you lived before Jake, because it all seemed bleak and depressing. Constantly searching for a thrill, never having the nerve to speak your truth, never knowing where you were going or where you would end up. It was sickening to recall, and even on your hardest days, or when you went weeks without being able to touch him, your life with Jake was beyond anything you had ever felt or lived before. He was your forever, and your only worry was that you didn’t have enough time in one lifespan to love him. You worried that there wasn’t enough time in the entire universe to love Jake the way he deserved, but you tried your hardest to be the best you could be for him, because god knows he was doing it for you.
You were sat on the couch of your living room, pondering over the empty space that seemed to be growing larger by the day. Jake’s SG was long gone from its stand, and had been for weeks. He was travelling the world and doing what he loved, and you were so happy for him, yet it did not take away from the fact that you missed him terribly. Each day it seemed like the minutes passed slower, and you were counting every second until he walked through the front door. You only had a few more days to go, but you were beginning to believe you wouldn’t survive it. Phone calls and texts only went so far, and you missed his company more than you cared to admit.
A show was playing softly on the television, but you were no longer invested in the screen. You were writing in your journal, hoping to finish some lyrics for a new song you had started. There was an incense smouldering away on the windowsill, the smoke sending a peaceful haze across the room and leaving a calming aroma in the air. The sun was twinkling through the windows, wrapping around the blinds you had pulled across and sending rays through the emptiness of the room. It was cozy, comfortable, yet seemed to be missing something. You knew that feeling would flee as soon as Jake was back home and sitting on the couch beside you. Your coffee cup beside you was spewing pathetic spurts of steam, long forgotten in your mind and destined to be remembered once it was too cold to enjoy.
You snapped from your thoughts, hearing the door open and keys jingling softly. You figured it must be Dylan; she had a spare key and used it quite often when both of your boyfriends were gone off on tour. The loss of constant companionship was made easier with a best friend like her, because she was always willing to help pass the time. Whether it was playing music, or going for brunch, or even just existing together, she was always down for it. She had taken Danny’s place in the routine Sunday Brunches when he was unable to make it, and you weren’t shy in admitting that she did a great job at making them just as fun. Sometimes, when the boys were free from work, the four of you would go together and fill the afternoon with casual drinks and laughter. No matter what, you were constantly surrounded with family, and it was more fantastic than you ever imagined it to be. Sometimes, chosen family was far beyond anything blood relatives could provide, and they outweighed every expectation that you had. You had no idea where you would be without them.
You stood, figuring you could be kind enough to greet her at the door. When you rounded the corner into the kitchen and stepped into the hallway, your heart nearly exploded straight from your chest. At the front door, with a bouquet of flowers in one hand and a box in the other, Jake was standing alone, surrounded with breathtaking beauty as always. He looked up at you, a blinding smile taking over his face, letting you know he was just as excited to see you. “Surprise.” He whispered, kicking his shoes off and walking to meet you. You took off in a sprint, too excited to care about your childish behaviour, and nearly tackled him with the strength in which you hugged him. He laughed, wrapping his arms around you as best he could with the items in his hands. “I missed you, angel.” He placed a kiss to your head, savouring the sweetness for as long as he could.
“What are you doing home so early?” You asked, although the words came out quite muffled due to your face being buried in his chest. The familiar scent was overpowering, holding you captive and intoxicating you immediately. Sandalwood, but it was no longer laced with the implications of sin; it was home, and it was the most sacred of all.
“I couldn’t wait any longer to see you.” He admitted, drawing back from you only slightly. He leaned down, pressing a soft kiss to your lips. “I’m so glad I did, because something came in the mail.” He grinned, reminding you of the box he was holding in his hand.
“Is that what I think it is?” Your eyes were glistening with excitement, knowing that he was wondering the same thing.
“Let’s find out.” He said, nodding his head down the hallway. Together, you walked into the kitchen and he set the package on the table. He let his bag drop to the ground before he went off in search of a vase for the flowers.
“I can do that,” you offered, practically vibrating at the thought of what was inside the box. He shook his head, reaching into a cupboard and grabbing the item he had been looking for. He filled it with water, carefully removing the flowers from the brown paper wrapping and setting them inside. He placed them on the table before kissing you on top of the head.
“Are you gonna open it?” He asked, looking down at your nervous hands settled on top of the package.
“I’m scared.” You chuckled, trying to stop the tremors in your fingers.
“Don’t be.” He said, wrapping an arm around you and pulling you into his side. “We’ll do it together.”
“Yeah, together.” You nodded, picking up the box and slowly pulling back the tape. You balled it up, tossing it down on the table as you opened up the flaps. On top of a mound of bubble wrap sat a card. You pulled it out, looking inside all while feeling like you could throw up. You read over the words written inside, feeling the anxiety morph into excitement. “That’s sweet.” You smiled, setting the card by the flowers. It was a note of congratulations from your label, making sure you were well informed of the huge milestone you had achieved. You slowly picked out the bubble wrap, setting it to the side while drawing in a long breath.
Your gaze fell over the cover of the vinyl record, immediately prompting tears in your eyes. You took a step back, letting out a shaky laugh as you dried your eyes. Jake looked back at you, more proud than he had ever been in his entire life. “You did that, sweetheart.” He said, unable to contain his own excitement. You could hear his tone wavering as he tried to hold back his own tears, only sending you spiralling even further. He pulled you into another hug, allowing you to air out your surge of emotions.
After a moment, you reached into the box and pulled it out. The cover was gold, shimmering under the sunlight flowing in from the windows. ‘Gold Dust Woman’ was embossed on the surface in pitch black lettering, standing out from the background. You flipped it over, looking over the track list. At the very bottom in small print, you could see the production rights trademarked by your company. “That’s me,” you squeaked, pointing at your name alongside Dylan and Riley’s. “That’s my name.”
“It is,” he laughed, leaning in to get a closer look at it. “I’m so proud of you, y/n. More than you’ll ever know.”
“Thank you,” you whispered, pulling the record from the sleeve to cement the reality of the situation. “I couldn’t have done it without you, baby.” He let out a scoff, shaking his head at your statement.
“You can do anything you put your mind to, sweetheart. All I do is cheer you on.” You looked up at him, love surrounding the two of you as hearts danced in your eyes. You leaned up, almost forgetting the record in your hand while you were in his company. There was nothing quite as captivating as Jake, and he seemed to outshine everything else. You kissed him, pouring all of your emotion into him and telling him all you needed to just from the small action.
“I’m so happy you’re home.” You mumbled against his lips. “I missed you so much.”
“I’m happy to be home.” He said, smiling against you as he kissed you again. It seemed like the two of you could never get enough of each other, and you wouldn’t have it any other way. “Now, are you going to listen to it, or what?”
“Yeah,” you giggled, looking back to the album in your hand. “In a minute.”
“Go, I’ll be right here when you come back.” He chuckled at your unwillingness to leave.
“Trying to get rid of me?” You raised an eyebrow.
“Never,” he said, his tone telling you that his statement was final and not up for debate.
“Okay, I’ll be right back.” You said, rushing off to the living room. You carefully placed the record down on the couch, removing the vinyl that was sitting on the player and placing it back in the proper sleeve. You took out your own, gently placing it down and then putting the needle on the surface. You turned the volume up and the television off, waiting for a moment while the static turned into music. You heard a clear drum beat fill the air before your guitar joined in, followed by a clear bass line. You were thrilled, the sound better than you ever imagined it could be. You couldn’t believe that it was really your song playing over the speaker, but it was real, and it was the most exhilarating feeling you had ever experienced. “Jake, do you hear this!?” You shouted, cheeks aching from the permanent smile stuck on your face.
“I hear it, angel.” He replied, but he sounded occupied with something else. “I almost forgot, I have something else for you.” You furrowed your eyebrows, confused at what else he could possibly have for you. “Come here for a minute.”
“Okay,” you said, confusion evident in your tone. You made your way back to the kitchen, a bubble of anxiety rising in your stomach. He sounded distant, nervous almost as he called out to you. You had never known Jake to be anything less than self-assured even when he was wrong, and you were curious about what was so heavy on his mind that it changed his normal routine. When you first entered the room, you didn’t see him straight away.
You were confused at his whereabouts, knowing that his voice had been coming from the kitchen, yet you didn’t see him standing in his previous spot. You walked around the table, freezing in your tracks almost immediately. Your eyes went wide as your heart dramatically thudded against your rib cage. Jake was on one knee, hands shaking as he held a small velvet box in his hands. “Oh, god, Jake.” You breathed, bringing your hand over your chest to sooth your erratic heartbeat.
“That doesn’t sound very good.” He gave a nervous chuckle, just as scared as you were about the whole thing.
“No!” You shook your head, easing his mind before he descended too far into his own thoughts. “Not like that, just… wow.”
“I was going to wait, but I couldn’t. I don’t want to wait anymore, y/n.” He spoke so softly that his voice barely broke through the air. “I’ve known since the day I met you, so I don’t see a point in putting it off. I want to spend forever with you, if you want it, too. You are my whole heart, the reason I can get out of bed in the morning and the only thing that helps me sleep through the night. You’re my best friend, the absolute love of my life, and I can’t think of a single reason why I wouldn’t want to be yours forever.” He said, watching your face carefully in case there was any chance you didn’t want what he was offering. “I don’t want to sit and watch while the rest of our lives pass us by. It would be the greatest honour to marry you, Gold Dust Woman.”
You took a step towards him, cautious for no real reason. Part of you believed that it was a figment of your imagination, because his love often seemed too good to be true. You thought over his words, only feeling your heart swell with more affection the longer you remembered. He was right, and there was no reason in the world as to why you should be afraid of saying yes. He was your forever, and you’d known that long before you ever admitted it to yourself. He loved you like no other, so well that sometimes you forgot what it was like before he came along. Your life was picturesque with him by your side, something you had only ever heard about in movies and books, yet it was your reality that you were lucky enough to live every single day. He was everything, and you were beyond grateful to even exist in the same universe as him.
You realized your silence had given the wrong impression, noticing the shift in his expression as he began to turn worried. “Yes, Jake.” You said, hoping to ease his mind. “A million times yes.” You said, moving forward and kneeling down in front of him. “I can’t think of a better way to spend my life, and there is nobody that could make me as happy as you do.” You said, grabbing his face gently between your hands. You pulled him into a kiss filled with love and warmth, just like the rest of your memories with him. You could barely keep the kiss alive, the smiles on your faces too much to handle. When you pulled away, he took the ring from the box and slipped it on your finger, trying his hardest to hold back his tears of elation. “It’s beautiful,” you fawned over the sight, taking in every detail the ring had to offer.
“But it doesn’t hold a candle to you, angel.” He said, looking back up at your face. “I promise I’m going to love you like you deserve until the day I die, and I’m sure that I’ll still love you the same even long after I’m gone. In every universe, and every lifetime. You’re the only thing my heart knows, Gold Dust Woman.”
“Me too, baby.” You promised, feeling your lip quiver from the profound confession. “So, this is forever?”
“Seems like it.” He laughed, tucking a strand of hair behind your ear. “You can’t get rid of me, now.”
“Not like I ever could before.” You teased, running your thumb over the soft skin of his cheek. “And it’s not like I ever wanted to, anyway.” And it was the truth; not a day passed in which you wished to change a thing, because a lifetime of loving Jake was better than anything you had ever dreamed of.

Hello, I want to add that most time players suck, by a lot. Seriously it’s laughable that theirs only like two successful time players in all of Paradox Space, Caliborn and Damara, and it’s the fact they doesn’t understand something laughably basic and Christian. Suffer now to be rewarded later. Sure we might forget because Caliborn is a funny goblin manlet but he suffered, suffered a lot (because he is a masochist) because he chose to play the hardest game of Sburb (Caliborn is a Fromsoft gamer) . And he was rewarded with the power to do whatever the fuck he wanted, the power to put himself on the path of suffering so he can achieve it, sure he did the opposite of ascending (like Mobster Kingpin) but it does give a idea what a time player’s storyline is supposed to look like. Our next case is Damara, a girl who suffered so much she DOOMED HER OWN SESSION OUT OF SPITE, the funny thing is due to her acting like John when he was retconing but still being bound to alpha timeline time travel bullshit she indirectly caused her own suffering.
Now our Beta set, absolutely fucking atrocious. Dave doesn’t seem to realize that going down the path of the hero would give him a understanding on why his life is so bad, and if he still think it sucks he could figure out a way to change it while still within alpha timeline because through sburb bullshit he’s probably the reason Bro is a possessed Mall Ninja. Aradia doesn’t DARE to step out of her role, maid or time, despite the fact that one is basically finding the right time to strike after observing everything and the other is being rewarded after suffering so greatly. You can argue her being alive is reward enough and the fact she influenced herself to being a robot is proof of my theory that time players eventually write their own past but is she seriously just going to bounce around aimlessly like some sort of ghost? Fuck that’s ironically sad, she was the most alive when she was dead.
Where was I going with this? Oh right, the only thing good to come out of the Alpha sets are the time players, so Caliborn and Damara beat Dave and Aradia in Time Fuckery
Lord English and The Handmaid/Damara really are the better Time Players out there. In the case of Epilogues and Homestuck 2/Beyond Canon, Dave and Aradia are still avoiding to be suffered or face the harsh situation that is thrown at them. Especially when they themselves, made direct mistakes that would lead to some consequences in the near future. We see this with Meat Dave as all he does is just use Karkat to distract him with love as they go along with Kanaya to go after Dirk. He is called out to be useless. Not taking part in anything about Ult Dirk or Alt Calliope. Davebot and Aradia are both relaxing and enjoying themselves as they watched JADE HARLEY suffer more by letting Alt Calliope take over. Aradia left SOLLUX in the Candy Timeline and doesn't think much of him all because he didn't want to stand by and watch the timeline fall apart anymore. Davebot believes that him leaving Jade was fine and that he should be gay for Karkat, that it will solve everything. Davebot may have reached Ultimate, but I don't think it's a reward in itself. Perhaps it is a suffering that he remains blissfully unaware until he acknowledges what he is doing is fucked. But he will never accept it or face it. And I'll be pissed if they try to say that Davekat by the end will be his reward for being imprisoned in a robot body when it was Dave himself who chose to KILL HIMSELF to ascend because fucking Obama told him so.

Finally Finished Dragon Age 2
After getting part way through Inquisition, I decided to do a series playthrough of Dragon Age. I just finished DA2 and I think it might be my favourite of the series.
Things I LOVED
Hawke is a stellar protag. Coming from Origins where I had a lot of freedom in characterising my HoF, having a much more set character was a surprise. Hawke manages to pull off being a self insert despite being restricted to a set backstory.
Containing the game to Kirkwall would sound like a downgrade compared to Origins, but I might actually prefer it, or at least I can't see it as a negative. Visiting the same people and places constantly made me feel connected to the city in a way that Origins couldn't do. I often struggle to feel like a resident in rpg worlds where I tour the country, but I got to know Kirkwall and I cared about its people.
I could write a post for each of the Companions(except Sebastian). They truly are the worst found family and I love them for that. I appreciated having all their different beliefs and values. Aveline was often the good influence my mischievous Hawke needed, Fenris and Merril added nuance to my opinions on mages, Isabela and Varric reminded me to consider what's best for me. Anders managed to grow on me, thankfully I didn't get into the mess of him getting butthurt over rejection.
Things I didn't like
I know that this game was made in little over a year, so I don't hold too much against it.
The maps are VERY repetitive. Closing off and opening paths did little to add variety to levels.
Speaking maps, I found entrances and exits quite inconvenient in some places, namely Darktown, which doesn't have an exit right outside of Anders' clinic. Dealing with long walks to exit maps made doing side quests feel more like a chore
The epilogue was too short. I get that it's because everyone disappears and Varric is a biased narrator, but I didn't feel enough closure for the companions I've come to care so much about.
Finally, my pettiest peave with the game: Custom Hawkes don't get the blood mark on their nose.
Conclusion
I truly loved my time with this game and it might be the first RPG I replay in the future. I'm super excited to try Inquisition again now that I've been through the first two games

Little thoughts and feelings about Update Dawn part 9| part 2
Twilight! Speaking of the role of a hero now, is probably not the best time. He nearly died, yes the others are going to be more cautious now, but Twi dying isn’t the best way to be an example…
(Perhaps my current power would disgrace the proud green I wear.
Twilight is quoting the Hero’s Shade »You may be destined to become the hero of legend...but your current power would disgrace the proud green of the hero's tunic you wear.«)
A lot of people have the theory that, Malon wrote in her letters that she might be pregnant. Jojo said she had ideas for a Malink kid in mind, but the concept would be shown in an epilogue, taking place after the events of the comic. Maybe Jojo changed that?
Yet I can’t explain why, but I have a feeling that there is more about this.
Theory: The way Time address the situation, feels like a new hope. Personally I think, they tried to have children before, yet Malon never got pregnant, so they both gave up.
Of course not being able to have children, would add the fate of the ranche and business to their minds.
When their visited Lon Lon, Malon and Time talked about hiring people to work there, nothing out of the ordinary, but once mention of Ingo dropped Time gets extremely defensive. Probably remembering how Ingo stole Lon Lon in one future, even when Malon was still there and had the right to have it!
Twilight existence proving their beliefs false and that there is still hope for a child. (And the future of Lon Lon Ranche, which still exists in Tear of the Kingdom)
Reminder that Time will die with regret. Wonder how or if Jojo will bring up the Howling Stones into all of this. Since it’s implied that the Hero of Time made those stone to be summoned. Maybe Twilight will tell Time about his fate…but we also have the "Someone will die" message…
I call them, the bestes of friends! Four really out there taking emotions serious, love this short king in particular!
Love Twilight’s optimism so much! He really wants to learn more, see more, help more! Like all Links, yes, but the fact that he is so open about it! No wonder he and Legend would get so close!
Wild, the other emotion king, really will not end cheering his friend up until they’re really happy!

i was just thinking, it wouldn’t make sense for the show to end in three seasons bc how would that give enough time for them to finish off character arcs and also decide an ending for the restaurant? the endings have to feel deserved and bc we just got the restaurant and we still have a lot left unexplored or unaddressed with the characters, three seasons would be crazy. how do you finish off the intended journey with the restaurant (whether it stays open or closed) and finish off character arcs without it feeling undeserved? everything has to add up and make sense, three seasons wouldn’t be enough to do that. i think four seasons can perfectly do that, but three? ehhh… there’s too much to address as of right now.
I think Chris never really expected to get a second season much less the opportunity to do up to 5 seasons. I think regardless of how many seasons they end up having, he is still going to have the series end the same way he intended it to from the start. And I just don't see him doing major reworks to the ending/arc of season 3 when they're already in the midst of making it.
Contrary to all the headlines, Season 4 has actually not even been confirmed by FX, and until it is I'm really not getting too much hope up. Those bonus episodes they agreed to film could be added within the Season 3 storyline, so there might not even be a fourth season. Which I think could make sense to just give them more time for things to wrap up, the "partnership" to work itself out, and everyone to have an arc in Season 3 that doesn't feel rushed.
Also just the general timeline of things, even if they do continue filming into June for a real Season 4, they are very limited in time for producing a fully fledged long season because everyone probably needs to go do their other projects they are signed up for right after. I could see season 4 being a sort of epilogue "where are they now" kind of vibe if they really do end up going in the direction of the restaurant shutting down by the end. If the restaurant doesn't close then I think the ending of season 3 could be moved to be the ending of Season 4.
I don't really expect any major time jumps in Season 3 because so many major events are happening right at the start of the season. So to wrap up their 15 month timeline in 12+ episodes is tight. I think there will always be more they could have explored for all the characters and some level of loose ends with the story, I think Chris likes to leave a certain level of things up for interpretation.
As for season 5, I really don't see it happening any time soon if they can't even film for season 4 next year. I could see them doing a Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life situation type of reunion like 5 to 10 years after the finale if the story does go in the direction of The Bear closing and them agreeing to try again in the future.

Considering how The Ghost and Molly McGee season 2 ended, if by some miracle we do get a season 3 I have come up with my own idea on how the show could move forward.
Now first thing I want to address is some people have said the show is The Ghost and Molly McGee which means as long as Molly is with a ghost then it's alright, but really now could you possibly imagine the show without Dana Snyder? As much as I like Geoff & Jeff, I don't think they or anyone else could ever replace Scratch.
Now my thought for the next story is that Todd and Adia have got back together and have been adventuring for some time, but a freak accident causes them to seperate and as a result: Todd dies. He of course becomes Scratch once more and even retains his memories of his time with Molly, he was gonna go back to Adia but couldn't bare to see her heart broken that he had died, so he decided to go back to Brighton and continue to live with the McGees again, not telling them about how he actually died in the off chance they try to confront Adia about it. The season could have Adia trying to find Todd, and it even brings her back to Brighton which can cause conflicts for Scratch, but eventually there can be a warm reunion between the two (I also had thought about what would happen if Adia also died and became a ghost because then they could be together in the afterlife).
The rest of the season can then focus on all the miscellaneous adventures the characters go on: some more time spent building Molly and Ollie's relationship (maybe get a proper kiss between them)
Andrea could finally meet Scratch face to face, maybe even work in a story that involves her becoming a wraith.
Speaking of which, it was said that Andrea was planning a future business relationship with a girl named Alina, so we could get an episode that further explores their relationship as an actual couple.
It would be nice to see Libby's father return and actually you know BE THERE FOR HIS DAUGHTER AND WIFE!
We had an episode where Molly and Scratch switched places, not to mention we've seen the gang as ghosts so an episode where they all swap with each other.
Now as for a new antagonist and ghost council chairman, I don't really have an idea per say but I'm sure there are plenty of ideas that could be come up with; maybe add in a human villain who wants to try and take over the ghost world.
And finally we can have one of those "where are they now" type epilogues where we can see Molly and the gang all grown up and living their lives.
Anyways those are just my thoughts, feel free to comment any ideas you might have.

fic prompt: epilogue botw-pre totk Link and Zelda starting a cooking show in front of a live audience
“Thank you for joining us once again on Hyrule Kitchen! We’ll close tonight’s episode with an elimination round.” Aurie Taamu flashed a smile at the cheering studio audience before returning his attention to the camera. “We’re jumping right back into the action with the grand reveal of our two chefs’ creations on the theme of ‘Cool Treats for a Hot Summer.’ Chef Link, what have you got for us on this sultry summer evening?”
“I’ve prepared curry rice, a summer favorite in my hometown,” Link announced as he lifted the lid from his dish to reveal a plate of smooth amber curry paired with glistening white rice. “I added fresh apples for sweetness, and it’s so spicy that the heat will be the last thing on your mind. I hope you enjoy this taste of Hateno Village.”
The first judge, a restaurant critic from the fashionable Riverside District named Gotter, sat behind a half-empty plate of Link’s curry. “The spice is lovely, and I can taste the freshness of the apples in the render,” he said, “but it’s evident that the dish was prepared with ready-made roux. It aims for a flavor that would more properly be brought out with time. I give it a six.”
The second judge, a bestselling travel writer named Beedle, hadn’t left a single grain of rice on his plate. “I appreciate the pumpkin you’ve added to the curry,” he said. “It’s a welcome bit of texture, but far from sufficient. After sweating all day, I want sustenance, not delicacy. Without carrots or potatoes, the curry feels meager. I give it a four.”
“And with that, Chef Link receives a commendable ten points. For those watching at home, please check our website for Link’s apple and pumpkin curry recipe. Now we turn to Chef Zelda. What have you prepared for us?”
“Well, sir, I read your Notes on Cooking in the Wild when I was young, and it made a big impression. Inspired by your work, I’ve whipped up banana crêpes with chocolate, fresh cream, and a special ingredient – smotherwing butterflies!”
Zelda beamed as she extended a crêpe to the center camera, which zoomed in to capture the detail of a glistening black wing nestled next to the chocolate garnish.
“That’s certainly a surprise! And might I say, what a marvelous idea. Smotherwing butterfly essence is indeed a panacea for intense heat. What do our judges think?”
Gotter’s face seemed somewhat green. “While I admire your choice of unusual ingredients,” he began, “a few drops of essence would have sufficed. I would never have guessed that anyone would mix actual insects into the cream. It’s not inedible, but the thought of eating bugs is difficult to stomach. I must regret that I’ll have to give this concoction a one.”
Beedle, on the other hand, was overjoyed. “Marvelous!” he cheered. “Wonderful! Fantastic! What a bold stroke of genius to dice the butterfly into the cream. The crunchy texture adds an evocative originality to a simple dish. I felt like I’d stopped on the road across the Akkala plains to watch the butterflies on the mountainside meadows. Delicious! I give it a nine.”
“What a surprise, folks!” Aurie Taamu crowed. “The elimination contest has ended in a draw. It looks like both Chef Link and Chef Zelda will continue to the next round. I know I speak for all of us when I say that I hope they’ll continue to learn from each other, and I can’t wait to see what they create in future episodes. As always, keep checking our website and socials for news and recipes! Who knows, perhaps we can persuade Chef Zelda to share some tips on unusual ways to use traditional ingredients!
“That’s all for tonight, but I’ll see you all again on the next episode of Hyrule Kitchen!”
.
“The live audience responded well to the tied score,” Aurie Taamu explained. He glanced at the executive producer, who frowned as he watched a replay of the footage. Being alone with the producer in the upstairs recording booth put him on edge, and he found himself losing his usual cool.
“No one wanted to eliminate either of them, of course,” he continued. “We think this initial confrontation will add a spark of drama to pairing them together later. But perhaps you had other plans? I realize now that I should have consulted you first.”
“No, you have the right of it,” Ganondorf replied. “Those children are our top audience draws, though I can’t for the life of me understand why. Their choice of dishes was uninspired, and their recipes are basic. Neither of them used seasonal ingredients, and their preparation was sloppy. They didn’t clean after themselves as they worked. I’d be surprised if they washed their hands. Their only talent is their enthusiasm.
“Regardless. I just made an arrangement with our Hebra affiliate. The next challenge needs to include salmon. Keep it subtle, but make it happen.”
“Understood.” In his relief to be dismissed, Aurie Taamu was struck by a bolt of inspiration. “You know, sir, the two of them should compete against you at the end of the season.”
A sinister grin spread across Ganondorf's face at the suggestion. “Maybe they will, one day. If they make it that far.”

I know that they're most likely gonna repeat the Answer's story, but there are several scenarios and wishes that I can't help but imagine for the Answer:
Add some multiversal shenanigans to make up for no Femc route. Have Rio and Saori suddenly appear since they're in the code. Have her appear alongside Makoto in the seal. Make SEES realize that, even if someone else was their leader, they would still lose them in the end.
Have the pictures in Reload be relevant in the plot, like how memories are important in grief and how they might unlock doors.
I imagine the Abyss of Time having this glass filled area depicting past and future events. There would be these square mirrors depicting all the protagonists. Persona 1 and 2 protagonists are fully visible and it is said that what they did in the past helped create today. The Persona 4 and 5 are murkier as they are "People you have yet to meet." The Persona 6 protagonist has their back completely turned, foreshadowing them.
Have SEES team learn about cognition and foreshadow something with Persona 5.
Have some sort of epilogue or one last tearjerking shot after the ending, or at least a glimmer of hope about Elizabeth's quest.
Have the Abyss of Time have Palace-like elements since the Abyss is basically SEES's own Palace.
Have the Chidori survival actually have meaning.
Maybe you can actually visit his grave for extra tears.
Have that Theurgy plot thread from the Takaya storyline become relevant.
I know that what I'm asking for is a pipe dream, but these points would probably help the Answer be more interesting and good for continuity.

sorry if youve already gotten an ask like this but are there any torikasa stories youd reccomend? clown crown and white brim for sure but what else :0? /genq
!!!!!!!!!! i answered something like this ages ago indeed but this is an excellent time to remake the list!
though i guess i could first add the disclaimer that they have a tendency to bring each other up in conversation, so sometimes the most random unrelated story will drop something about them that makes you go ?!?!??!?! so i can't really cover all of that here, just know that it happens.
in fact, clown crown is a good example of that hlkjhslkjdfhs it was a booklet released with the checkmate anime, a story where tsukasa Barely appears (much less tori) and yet the story had All Of That LOL
so, without further ado:
REQUIEM!!! it's a 46 chapter monster and a story that's Central to knights development but i swear it's worth it. extremely important, has the most on their backstory as well as a bunch of fun bickering. clown crown is kind of like an epilogue for it. you definitely should at Least read dies irae chapter 11, and im very fond of lux aeterna 12 as a counterpart of it too
noble game is the preamble to pretty mission and ties with things mentioned in clown crown, so it's definitely a must if you're fineP or at least interested in eichi/wtei. but it's also an established Classic for their bickering and one you might see mentioned around
first shrine visit, much like noble game, is also another bickering story that i'm really fond of. it also shows the softer side of their dynamic, it's nice
any and all idol stories where they're together is nice (and it's not a small number! there's tsukasa's 3rd idol story, our class trip in the future, even tori's fs2 4* lured by the fragrance of flowers was fun hskdjsds) but the b in class 1-b is The Best. unforgettable even if it's ancient hsdjkfhlskjhfs and the recently released the charm of cards was so cute i really really liked it hdkljhlsjkdfs AND at a much lesser known degree, there's the yuzuru sub story aristocrat and attendant, which isn't that directly torikasa but has Some Interesting Stuff in it i like it
the BIBLION scout is soooo funny. toris barely in it and yet. terribly fun i highly recommend it
aaaand that's about it for my recs i think! they're together in a bunch of others and have interesting passages here and there, but these are the most relevant i Think. i hope you enjoy them! <3 you can find most of the TLs in the masterlist that twilightmalachite on here made
#i guess i could mention promessa too but i didnt actually like the story That much in regards to them zzz but it was good for hajime 👍#torikasa#enstars#preguntas#Anonymous
