floam slime is made up of small foam balls and named by the amount of foam bally beads in it and the size of the foam so one with a bunch of small ones that make that good good crunch sound is a micro and the big ones are jumbo and the ones in between that, what you tend to see in pull video is just floam, a floam slime is when the slime is mostly floam in this case regular floam otherwise it would be a jumbo floam or a microfloam, when there is more base than floam its called a semifloam so you can have a microsemifloam or a jumbosemifloam or a semifloam!!

Freaking out

So today is the day. Today we go to see mum at the funeral home. Exactly 12 hours from now, in fact. She requested that she be cremated when she passed, so that’s what’s happening, and since she has very few relatives still living that are anywhere near enough to attend, there won’t be any viewing apart from me, dad and our neighbors, though I almost wasn’t going. Not because I’m insensitive though.

Fun fact about me: I’m terrified, I mean utterly, horribly, more-than-spiders-and-they-literally-make-me-scream scared of cremation. Our dogs were cremated and though I wasn’t really able to process the concept at the time Mitzi (the second-last) passed, when our last dog, Buddy, died, I had nightmares for about 2 months because of the cremation. The mere thought triggers a panic attack, and to put that into perspective, I have a delayed stress reaction. Almost nothing is able to trigger my panic response immediately. Fall down stairs? Nope. Almost get hit by a car? Nope. Giant spider in the tub? Nope. Cremation? 1 hour panic attack right away. Or in tonight’s case, 6 hours on the verge of a panic attack, so all the lovely racing heart, fast breathing, ‘I’m gonna die’ feeling, without the hyperventilation or crying, meaning no release into a panic attack so just stuck at the start of one.

I posted this the other day, but it’s even more of a request now: if anyone knows of, or feels like writing, any reader-insert BTS, Marvel (esp Avengers and/or X-Men), or Got7 fics/ reactions/ whatever that either address a similar situation (the fear isn’t essential, more the overall situation) or are just either feel-good fluff, angst, or a bit of both (no death), I’d be grateful for recommendations. I need distraction and a girl can only go through so many videos on Youtube before it gets weird. And by that, I mean I’ve watched somewhere in the vicinity of 80 clothing haul reviews, 30-40 hack videos, some mystery boxes, craft reviews, and am now in the black hole of slime reviews. That’s right. Slime. I don’t even play with slime, but I now know the difference between a cloud slime and a butter slime, that I’d likely prefer a cloud slime with micro-floam beads or no add-ins to a fishbowl slime, and that I really don’t get the point of layered slimes when you’re gonna mix them anyway. I also now know about 10 different ways to make noodles by hand and that I’m surprisingly less wary of Wish than I was.

Most stim blogs have a “crunch” tag. I have a “crunch” and “auditory stim” tag. I personally tend to prefer deco slime that has a lot of sequins and micro bead floam. Those are usually pretty crunchy. If you don’t like hands, I know there are some deco slime videos that use utensils like forks instead.

Um, there’s also those wax breaking videos where the person breaks up tiny pieces of wax and it makes little crunchy noises.

So at Work...

At the restaurant we use this particular product for one of our desserts and it is kinda neat so I thought I would tell you all about it with pictures. 

This is the shit. This is the task on the to-do list called ‘scoop the crack circles’. 

And it goes in this:

(Picture is taken from the special Valentine’s issue of the Tennessean where they interviewed different pastry chefs in Nashville and those are my boss’s elbows and that is the prototype of our current chocolate hazelnut mousse)

Okay SO. what is it? If you guessed micro-cookies suspended in thick, viscous combination of milk chocolate and soft caramel with the weight and texture of Floam from the mid-90′s then you would be absurdly spot-on (or maybe you read the ingredients on the first picture, idk)

(Opening a fresh bucket of crack and if you think we don't take a spoon and scoop a little teaspoon out in the morning for a snack then DO NOT. JUDGE. Also that is totally my dumb hand)

So anyway, we scoop this stuff out and smash it between parchment sheets with a pan and stick it in the freezer so we can pop the little disks into fresh mousse the next day:

tl;dr: shit is delicious.
