You acted in many international productions and met many great actors. Which colleague impressed you the most when you worked with them?
Working on "Crossing Lines" with Donald Sutherland was certainly a special experience. The man was already a legend when I was born. And during the three seasons of filming, it was always a gift to be able to play with him. You often see that the very successful colleagues in particular are very approachable and unpretentious. And as soon as the camera is rolling, everyone tries to do their best.
What else fascinated you about him?
He once said something that I find very remarkable: "As an actor, it's always about finding the truth in every scene." So it's not about playing solos as virtuosically and egotistically as possible, but about always putting yourself at the service of the story. That sounds logical at first, but is often not self-evident.

The world is hell.
If you need me, I’ll be receding into a world made up of only Donald Sutherland.

STAR TREK: THE NEXT GENERATION // S5E3 Ensign Ro You see, Captain... When I was seven years old, I was given a piece of sugar candy. And I was led by a Cardassian into a room where my father was sitting. And he looked at me with eyes I'd never seen. The Cardassian began to ask him questions, and during the next two hours, as I was forced to watch, my father was tortured until he died. And I remember feeling... so ashamed of him as he begged for mercy. I was ashamed of him for being weak. I was ashamed of being Bajoran. Later I began to understand how misguided those feelings were and... And yet somehow they remained a part of me. I don't want to be ashamed of my heritage anymore, Captain. I served the Federation, but I am Bajoran. A Starfleet admiral presented me with an opportunity to help my people in their fight against the Cardassians. I had to accept.

After 3 seasons, the last episode of Star Trek: Picard aired on April 20, 2023. Picard (Patrick Stewart) and his friends took a final stand to save Earth from a Borg Invasion. Picard travelled to Jupitor to face off with the Borg Queen (Alice Krige) and a Borg assimilated Jack Crusher (Ed Speleers) aboard a giant Borg Cube. Walter Koening, who played Chekov in Star Trek the original series, returned to play Anton Chekov who was the President of Earth and an ancestor of his former role. Beverly Crusher (Gates McFadden) was promoted to Admiral and made head of Starfleet Medical. Seven (Jeri Ryan) was promoted to Captain. Tim Russ also reprised his role of Tuvok. John de Lancie also made a surprise appearance as Q. ("The Last Generation", Star Trek: Picard, Star Trek TV Event)
