Chapter 30

The next morning, Strongarm woke up feeling weird, she felt something attached to her aft but didn't know what. She reached down and felt a tail, but not Steeljaw's tail. With a yelp, she jumps out of the berth and looks to see she now has a tail, "What the..!?"

Steeljaw bolted up, "What's wrong?" He asked as he looked at her, "You have Wolf-Con ears."

"I do?" She asked as she felt her helm and felt a pair of ears up there, "What the frag? I got ears too?"

Before Steeljaw could say anything else he heard a high-pitched scream.

Metalsound and Thunderhoof woke up to the scream, "Who screamed---what in the?!" Metalsound looked at Thunderhoof in shock, he had small wolf-like ears just below his antlers.

"What?" Thunderhoof asked feeling confused.

"You have wolf ears," she replied slowly, reaching up to feel his ears, "They're real and surprisingly soft."

"I do?" He asked as he reached up to feel his helm and felt the ears, "Eyo! Who gave me wolf ears!?"

"That's not all you have," she replied, pointing at his tail.

He looks down at his new tail, "I also have a tail!?"

"I think it looks nice on you," she smiled as she intertwined their tails together.

Thunderhoof felt it and smiled, "Maybe it's not so bad after all."

"How the heck did I get wolf ears?!" Knock Out was outside running around the scrapyard in a panic.

Ratchet throws a wrench at him, "Calm down!"

Knock Out flinched as he fell to the ground. Optimus and Megatron both came out to see what was happening, "Does everyone have a tail and ears?" Optimus asked.

Everyone else came out, "Would appear so," Ratchet replied after seeing everyone.

"So, why do we have Wolf-Con ears and a tail?" Sideswipe asked in anger, his new tail lashed out in tune with his emotions.

"Not sure," Optimus replied.

"Maybe Shockwave will know," Knock Out suggested feeling annoyed.

"Where is Shockwave?" Steeljaw asked.

"Probably in his lab, follow me."

Steeljaw followed to see Shockwave. He walks in and finds Shockwave knocked out, "Shockwave!"

Shockwave slowly got up from his workstation, "What time is it?" He didn't notice the Wolf-Con tail or ears on him.

"Shockwave, were you in here experimenting last night?" Steeljaw asked him.

"Yes, I am still trying to figure out how I can revive the Predacons. The substances didn't mix and it made a small mess. Why, is something wrong?"

"Yes. But rather than tell you I'll show you."

"Alright."

Shockwave followed Steeljaw outside. Steeljaw had him look at the others with wolf ears and a tail, "This is what's wrong."

Shockwave circled Sideswipe, taking everything in, "This is very interesting," he muttered much to Sideswipe's discomfort.

"Why are you only circling me? There are others here you know."

"You were closer," he stated as he moved to look at Strongarm, "May I?" He asked motioning his servo to one of her ears.

"Sure."

Shockwave started rubbing her ear before he scratched behind it. Strongarm got into it before she pushed his servo away, "Wow. Now I see why you like being rubbed and scratched behind your ears," she said to Steeljaw.

"It feels nice, doesn't it?" He grinned as Shockwave examined Megatron's tail.

"It does actually," she replies with a bit of a blush on her faceplate.

"What happened, Shockwave?" Megatron asked a bit annoyed at the 'Con examining his tail.

"I am unsure," Shockwave replied as he examined his own tail, "I will have to look into this."

"Yes, you do that."

Shockwave retreated to his lab as Seajumper came out yelling for his mom.

"Right here, sweetie. Are you okay?"

"I have these things on my helm and butt," the sparkling motioned to his wolf ears and tail.

"Cool, everyone has a tail," Emberwing said as she looked at the adults.

Nightback runs up to his mom, " Mom, you have ears and a tail like Dad and me."

"Yes, we're not sure why though. Pretty cool, huh?"

"Yeah."

"OK everyone, let's get started on patrols," Bumblebee told them as he headed out on patrol with Drift and Grimlock.

"Nightback, your mom and I are going on patrol you be good, you hear?"

"Yes, sir."

Steeljaw and Strongarm drive along the path, "I always wondered what it was like having a tail but I never expected to actually get one."

Steeljaw chuckled softly, "How long do you think it'll last?"

"Not sure, temporary I hope, feels kind of weird."

"I'm sure it is, I've had a tail all my life. I would miss it if it was suddenly gone."

"I'm gonna need to get used to maneuvering with it."

Steeljaw chuckled again, "Don't worry, I'll help you," he crooned.

"I hope so."

"Would you let me rub your ears as you do for me?"

"Maybe..."

"Please, after all of the rubs you've given me, I want to return the favor. Besides, it makes you look cute."

"I may let you if you can catch me," she says as she drives off onto a path leading into the woods.

Steeljaw quickly followed after her. You just love having me chase after you, don't you?

Guess I like the thrill of it.

Who knew you had a wild side? He teased.

All due to you. You're the reason I'm like this now.

I like having a challenge.

And that's why you had me start walking on the wild side?

Is that bad?

I guess not. Strongarm giggled as she kept driving. Steeljaw followed after her through the forest. He was suddenly reminded of their first race. Strongarm keeps driving through the woods trying to keep ahead of him. Steeljaw zigzagged around the trees trying to catch up. Losing your touch?

You'll see. He chuckled as he made a turn.

What? She asked looking into her mirror and seeing Steeljaw make a turn. Steeljaw floored it making his way past her. Slowly he made his way in front of her. Strongarm wanted to turn and go another way but there was no way, it was too narrow to turn around and go back. Steeljaw smirked as he transformed, quickly turning around with his arms spread out. Strongarm slammed on her brakes screeching to a halt, "Steeljaw, have you lost it!?"

"What? I thought you were going to transform like you did last time."

"You mean like this?" She says before she transforms and jumps over him. Steeljaw just smiled and chased after her.

What did I do the last time?

When I thought I had you cornered you jumped over me.

Oh, just like how I just did? She asked before she giggled.

Steeljaw chuckled, trying his best to keep up with her. It was odd seeing her with a tail but it made her look sexy. Strongarm keeps running through the woods, she makes a right turn going through the trees. Steeljaw was right behind her, hot on her tail. Suddenly her tail got under her feet and tripped her up. Steeljaw quickly caught her by the arm to keep her from falling.

They both went down and started rolling down a hill. Steeljaw pulled her in, wrapping his arms around her as they made their way down the hill. They landed on the bottom with him on top of her, "I really need to get the hang of walking and running with this tail."

"Yes. Are you okay?" He asked wincing a little.

"Yeah. Are you?"

"I'm alright," he assured.

"Well, you got me."

"I guess I did," he teased as he started rubbing and scratching her ears. She leans her helm into his touch, "Feels good?"

"Yes," she replies in a smutty whisper as she gives him a cute look, the sunshine is glimmering in her optics.

Steeljaw gave a throaty chuckle, "You are so beautiful," he whispered before kissing her passionately. Strongarm started blushing as she kissed him back. Steeljaw's servo started roaming over her body.

I hope you're not planning on having us do it right here in the open.

Why don't we find a place where we can continue this in private?

Why must these games always end in having sex?

I'm not sure but I like it.

Just this once, can we end a game without sex?

Yes. Steeljaw chuckled as he gave her a soft kiss on her forehelm.

"Thank you. As much as I enjoy it we don't need to do it all the time."

"I understand," Steeljaw says as he gets off of Strongarm and offers his servo to help her up. She took his servo and stood up. "Shall we head back?"

"I didn't say we had to head back."

"I know, but everything looks fine in this area. Unless you want to continue on the patrol."

"Actually, I had something else in mind," she said as she started walking back up the hill.

Steeljaw quickly followed after her, "What did you have in mind?"

"You'll see."

Steeljaw didn't say anything as he scanned through the radio stations, quickly finding their song. Their song started playing and Strongarm lost her footing and slid back down the hill right into him, her aft bumping into his interface panel. Steeljaw caught her as he slid back but kept his footing, "Are you okay?" He asked.

"Yeah," she replies feeling her faceplate heat up at the feeling of her aft pressed against his interface panel. Steeljaw's face also heated up as he held her close, "We should get going," she tells him as she tries to get out of his hold.

"You're right," he says as he releases her. They continued walking up the hill and soon made it to the top. Strongarm went down to the ground pulling him down on top of her, on her back, when she heard a noise, "What is it?" He whispered as his ears perked up for the sound.

"Humans," she whispered back to him, "Get down so they don't see you."

Steeljaw got low to the ground, keeping out of sight and the humans passed them. That was close.

Yes. You can get off me now.

But I like this position. He tells her as he wraps his arms around her, "I want to stay like this."

"Steeljaw, we need to get going."

"Alright," he says as he gets up. Strongarm got up as Steeljaw walked past her, popping her aft playfully. She let out a small yelp. Steeljaw glanced at her with a playful smile and Strongarm punched him in the arm. Steeljaw winced at the punch, chuckling through the pain. Strongarm just walked on.

"You still live up to your name," he chuckled as he followed her.

"Of course. You still want to head back?"

"Why don't we enjoy this beautiful day before we head back?"

"I agree, I actually want us to go to that one cliffside where you took me that one time."

"That sounds like fun. Do you remember which way to go?"

Strongarm stops and turns to look at him, "You mean you forgot?"

"No, did you?"

"No," she says as she continues walking. Steeljaw followed after her. She went right to the cliff, "Remember when we were last here?"

Steeljaw wrapped his tail around hers, "How can I forget? This was where I played our song for the first time," he replied as he held her servo.

"Yeah, it was," she said with a chuckle. He gently rubbed their helms together, happy to be with her and to have her as his mate. Steeljaw intertwined their tails together as he enjoyed the view. Strongarm leaned against his body as she too enjoyed the view.

After sitting there enjoying the view for some time, Strongarm speaks up, "We should head back now."

"Yeah, we should. Don't want them to start worrying because we didn't return at the time we were supposed to."

Strongarm nodded in agreement as she started walking and he followed close behind her, intertwining their tails as they walked. Strongarm giggled, "You love intertwining our tails together."

"And I'll do it as often as I can. But I prefer wrapping it around your waist," he chuckled as he moved his tail to her waist.

Strongarm just chuckled, "Actually, I much prefer that as well."

They get back to the scrapyard and get greeted by their son Nightback, "Mom, Dad, you're back! Have a nice patrol?"

"We did, and no there were no Decepticons," Steeljaw replied as he rubbed his son's helm.

I recently got this little monster back! Thanks @appieheijn_ ! At heart it’s an ultra cheap Mega Amp Megatone SL20 solid state practice amp. However I noticed it’s gain structure responded very nicely so I imagined it would sound great through bigger speakers. I disconnected the 8” speaker, added a jack output to the back and into the ENGL V60 loaded cab I had back then it sounded immense!! And it’s got old windmills from Dordrecht on it. 1. What sensory sensitivities do they have?

Red is particularly sensitive to sound and texture. If a sound is too much, either because its loud and unexpected, or because conflicting sounds are happening at once (like overlapping conversation), Reds having a bad time. Akso a lot of scraping sounds, like metal forks on ceramic plates, he can feel in this teeth and its super unpleasant, The move Metalsound has this problem.

As for texture, its mostly prickly or itchy textures that get him badly. Things like clothing tags, the way you feel after getting a haircut but before you shower, scratchy sweaters, things like that. Red won’t even wear clothes that still have tags in them, he either just wont put them on or will rip them out himself. This, unfortunately, includes borrowed clothes, so if you’re lending him clothing its best to make sure that  it doesn’t have tags.

6. What are their special interests?

Red has a few, as mentioned in the previous ask! He’s big into battle mechanics, and pokemon behaviorism. He thinks he wouldn’t make a good professor, but in all honesty with the way hes able to understand pokemon and how much he absorbs pokemon social behavior, he might. He also thinks pokemon lineages (like why shellos has two different forms and how that developed) are cool, but it doesn’t hold as special a place in his heart as behaviorism does. That and pokemon husbandry, but that goes and-in-hand with the behaviorism.

11.What are their comfort foods? What foods do they refuse to eat?

Red’s comfort food is honestly crunchy things like chips. Honestly, a lot of potato based foods tend to go easily with Red. It’s not a lot he outright refuses to eat, but he either needs a safe food with new food, or a LOT of warning beforehand if its not at least somewhat similar to something he’s had before. The only thing he REFUSES to eat is meat, but that’s because of trauma and not being autistic. Because of that though, he’s also not a fan of meat replacements other than like, veggie burgers.

Happy Anniversary “Heavy” (February 16th, 2017)!

"Heavy" is a song by American rock band Linkin Park, featuring guest vocals from American singer Kiiara. The song is the first single from their seventh studio album, One More Light. The song was written by Linkin Park members Chester Bennington, Brad Delson, and Mike Shinoda, alongside Julia Michaels and Justin Tranter. The single was released for download on February 16, 2017, and was premiered on radio on February 21. It is the band's last single to be released during Bennington's lifetime.

Band members Chester Bennington, Mike Shinoda, and Brad Delson worked with Julia Michaels and Justin Tranter in co-writing the song's lyrics,  who had previously worked with artists such as Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez, and Gwen Stefani. Lyrically, the inspiration for "Heavy" came from band member's conversations about frustrations and troubles in their own lives. From that, they found that there was some heavy stuff happening in each other's lives. Bennington stated that personally, he has a hard time with life, even on a good day. He said the opening line "I don't like my mind right now" is him 24 hours a day. In an interview with Music Choice, Bennington said of the song: "Most of my problems are problems that I cause myself. That's what that song's about -- that time when you consciously look at that. Once you acknowledge what it is, you can separate yourself from it and do something about it, as opposed to just being in it."

In a series of videos released leading up to the single's debut, Joseph Hahn brought up the idea of bringing in a female singer for the track, which he described as "something that feels out of the box for us, could give [the song] that dynamic it needs." Bennington, in working with Michaels on writing the track and hearing her rough vocal takes, suggested she sing on the final version, though she declined, stating she would rather be behind the scenes. Bennington recorded a version entirely with his vocals in case the band could not find a fit for a female singer, while the band continued their search.

The band was introduced to Kiiara through Zane Lowe, who, upon interviewing her, was informed that Linkin Park was her favorite band. Lowe reached out to vocalist Shinoda, who was intrigued considering how different Kiiara's music, like her single "Gold", was from Linkin Park's previous works. Zane put Shinoda in contact with Kiiara, and the band ended up deciding to work with her. Kiiara only recorded vocals for the song, as the lyrics and music had already been written prior to her involvement.  Music producersEmily Wright and Andrew Bolooki handled vocal production. The band approved of the overall sound, with Shinoda noting that adding the female voice brought more meaning to the song, signaling that it is not just about one person's struggle.

"Heavy" received generally negative reviews from critics, with complaints generally centered around the band's move from nu metal to a pop-oriented sound. Anna Gaca of Spin found the song to be a failed attempt to stay relevant against current popular rap rock bands like Twenty One Pilots, concluding that "So: How bad is "Heavy"? It's not as bad as you'd think. It will annoy you no more and no less than any other blowout pop duet else you're likely to hear on the radio while you're at the gym or the supermarket or something. It's fairly astonishing to see Linkin Park bend their knee so shamelessly for a taste of the charts, but those are the rules of the game." Emmy Mack of Music Feeds was similarly negative, noting the irony of naming the track "Heavy" when the song sounded like "a dance-pop duet featuring Chester doing a really bad Twenty One Pilots impersonation and trading verses with a random guest pop vocalist." Allison Stewart of The Washington Post called the song "lumbering" and stated that it "emulates, in feel if not in sound, the Chainsmokers' "Closer," with Kiiara standing in for Halsey."

Fan reaction to the song has been equally negative. The negativity inspired the band "Bloodywood" to re-record the song in Linkin Park's Hybrid Theory and Meteora nu metalsound, catching the attention of many music websites such as Loudwire and Team Rock, the latter of which declared it "what Linkin Park's Heavy should have sounded like." The cover and negative reception even caught the attention of the band, who halfheartedly played a part of it in a rehearsal session video, with Bennington jokingly stating at the end "There's your fuckin' Hybrid Theory now shut the... [fuck up]".

The song was released as the first single from their seventh studio album, One More Light. It was released digitally on February 16, 2017. The music video for the song was released on March 9 through their official YouTube channel. The band released a lyric video of the song on the same day. It is the band's last single to be released in vocalist Chester Bennington's lifetime, as he committed suicide by hanging five months after its release.

The music video starts with Chester Bennington and Kiiara grappling with doubles of themselves, where Kiiara's double lingers hauntingly, while Bennington begins to scuffle with his. Eventually, Bennington leaves his house to attend his support group. During discussions, he gets into a confrontation with one of the members of the group, while Kiiara is shown watching them from the under the brim of her hoodie. Bennington leaves in a fury and enters a bathroom. In the bathroom he engages in a fierce fist fight with his double. Then Kiiara is shown entering the same bathroom where Bennington is shown pushed by his demon to the wall and falls down and is caught by Kiiara. The video ends with the two sitting together, Kiiara putting her hand onto Bennington's shoulder.

"Heavy" debuted at number 52 on the US Billboard Hot 100, selling 35,000 downloads in its first week. The song slid down to number 82 the following week and slowly rose to number 50 where it peaked. The song re-entered the chart in August 2017, after the death of frontman Chester Bennington, and reached a new peak of 45. It was also certified Gold in September 2017.

The GrimBee Story

Chapter 3

Grimlock stayed where he was for the rest of the afternoon trying to think of who he could ask. Bumblebee comes looking for him and finds him there, "Grimlock, I've been looking all over for you. Have you been here all afternoon?"

"Yeah, sorry. Did you need something?" Grimlock asked as he transformed back into his bot form.

"No, was just wondering where you were because you were absent all afternoon, just wanted to make sure nothing happened to you."

"I'm okay, thanks for coming to check on me."

"No problem."

"Can I ask you something, 'Bee?" He asked as he followed Bumblebee to the scrapyard.

"Sure, Grim. What is it?"

"Um, have you...?" He felt his cheekplates heat up as he tried to ask his question, "Uh, I mean..."

"What is it, Grim? Just ask."

"Have you ever kissed anyone before?" He asked quickly.

"Wow, that's random. Um, I have a couple of times. Why?"

"Sorry, I was just wondering what it would be like to kiss someone. I've never kissed anyone before," he explained quietly with a blush.

"You haven't?"

"No," he mumbled.

"Do you want to try it?"

"Yeah," he mumbled just as quietly.

"Alright, you can try it with me."

"Y-you're sure?"

"Yeah," Bumblebee replied with a smile.

"O-okay," Grimlock smiled nervously. Bumblebee walks over to him and pulls him down to kiss him. Grimlock bent down to Bumblebee's level and started slowly closing the gap between them. Bumblebee brings their lips together and Grimlock's optics widen for a moment before they slowly close as he starts getting into the kiss. Bumblebee kissed him passionately to show him what it was like. Grimlock carefully placed his servos on Bumblebee's shoulders and slowly kissed the smaller mech back.

After about a minute, Bumblebee pulls back and looks at him, "How was that?"

Grimlock made a small squeak when he felt his face get warm, "I-it was nice," he replied quietly still feeling a little flustered.

Bumblebee smiled at him, "Good."

"I, uh, think we should head back, the others may be looking for us," Grimlock spoke quietly as he headed back to the scrapyard.

"I agree," Bumblebee said as he followed Grimlock. I rather enjoyed that kiss.

Grimlock kept quiet the whole way back, still thinking about the kiss. The sun had already been replaced by the moon when they got back. The others had already gotten ready for bed, "I guess I'll see you tomorrow, 'Bee," Grimlock said as he came to a slow stop.

"Yep, see you tomorrow, Grim."

"Good night," Grimlock replied before heading towards his quarters.

"Good night," Bumblebee said before heading to his own quarters.

Grimlock lays in his berth thinking about the kiss, he really liked it. But was it okay to do that? Bumblebee was their leader and a mech. But Optimus and Megatron were together so it should be okay, right? With a sigh, Grimlock held his pillow close to his chest. He could still feel Bumblebee's lips on his, and he smelled really nice. He felt his spark pulsing faster than usual. Why was it doing that? "I'll ask Fixit about it in the morning," he mumbled tiredly to himself as he slowly drifted into recharge.

The alarm sounded causing Grimlock to bolt up and run out towards the Alchemor, "What's going on?"

"We seem to have some 'Con activity," Strongarm replies as she walks over to the Alchemor with Steeljaw.

"We have a slight problem, Lieutenant," Fixit spoke with a hint of fear.

"What is it, Fixit?"

"There have been sightings of a large creature that resembles a Spinosaurus," Fixit brought up a video from a security camera, "Unfortunately, I can't brighten the picture to see who it is. But if you look closely there are four others with him."

"Where is that, Fixit?" Bumblebee asked.

"At a power plant that is under reconstruction."

"OK team looks like we have some dangerous 'Cons on our hands so let's be careful and keep an optic out. Thunderhoof, Metalsound, Grimlock, and Ultra Magnus will go with me," Bumblebee says before he transforms and heads out with Thunderhoof, Metalsound, Grimlock, and Ultra Magnus behind him.

"Good luck everyone!" Emberwing called out to the group.

They headed off and soon got to the power plant, "Keep an optic open guys you never know where they are," Bumblebee warns them.

Metalsound, Thunderhoof, and Ultra Magnus went in one direction while Grimlock and Bumblebee went in another. Metalsound, who was in her beast form, kept looking whenever she thought she heard something move. Her ears perked up as her head snapped towards the back room, she thought she heard something scurry across the floor. 

Suddenly this creature jumped out and attacked her. She let out a snarl when she felt a set of claws dig into her side as she fell to the ground. She snapped her jaws on the creature's skinny arms hearing a pained screech as the creature backed off into the shadows. The creature waited a few minutes before attacking again from another side. With a snarl, she discharged her electricity this time, and bolts of lightning shot off like fireworks in every direction. Keep a look out for this guy, he's fast.

Roger that. Thunderhood said before he saw spikes come flying at him, he ducked out of the way in time. Ultra Magnus managed to get out of the way of missiles that were coming straight for him.

"Shadowrunner, stop fooling around with these weaklings, the boss is going to get upset if you don't take care of their guard dog," a gruff voice spoke from the shadows.

A Raptor came out of the shadows, "Right," he said before he jumped on Metalsound.

Metalsound fell to the ground yelping in pain when she felt his sharp claws raking at her side. Her front paws lit up as she swiped at the Velociraptor's face. The Velociraptor moved back and dodged her paw, he let out a roar as he bit into her back. Metalsound roared as his jaws clamped down on her and she let off another surge of electricity. I could use some help over here.

Ultra Magnus screamed in pain as he collided with one of the power lines. That darn headbutting thing was worse than Thunderhoof in a rage. Falling to his knees he glared at the creature.

I'm a little busy right now. Thunderhoof said as he dodged some more spikes coming at him followed by a tail, he tried to ram the Stegosaurus but with no luck.

I just hope Grimlock and Bumblebee are having better luck.

Bumblebee falls to the floor trying to avoid a tail coming at his helm, he then sees the sharp end of the tail coming down towards his face. Bumblebee rolled out of the way just in time, quickly getting to his feet he glared at the Dinobot. He looked like the Spinosaurus that Fixit had mentioned but he still didn't know who he was.

"I don't know who you think you are but I know one thing. I will see that this place is covered in your Energon, Autobot," a deep voice rumbled from the scarred Dinobot.

"That's what you think, Dinobot."

Pained roars echoed throughout the power plant causing the Dinobot to look in the direction of the roar, "You sure about that? Because it sounds like my boys are winning. Also, I'm sure that Amberblade is having fun with your Dinobot."

Bumblebee looks in the direction of the roar then turns back to him, "You're not gonna win this, 'Con."

"I think I already have," the Dinobot grinned before roaring as he charged at Bumblebee. He jumps out of the way to dodge him and then throws a blow of his own. The Dinobot quickly turned around, swinging his tail into Bumblebee's stomach. It collides sending Bumblebee into a wall, "Boys, we're moving out!" The Spinosaurus roared as he picked up what they had come for. A Sabertooth tiger was right on his tail as were the other three Dinobots.

Once they were gone, Bumblebee got up and went to check on his team.
