Chapter 6

A few days passed and Gimlock's leg was fully healed. To say he was excited was a bit of an understatement.

"Hey, Grimlock. I see your leg is finally healed. I know you're glad," Bumblebee said to him when he saw him.

"You bet. Has Ripjaw been doing anything while my leg was healing?" The Dinobot asked ready to face the Spinosaurus.

"Not since the Monster Truck Rally."

"We still don't know what he's up to?" Grimlock asked as they headed out for a patrol.

Bumblebee vented out a sigh, "No, afraid we don't."

"I'm sure we'll figure it out, we always do," Grimlock replied trying to lift Bumblebee's spirits.

"Yeah, you're right."

"It's a pretty day."

"Yes, it is," Bumblebee said as he listened to the birds chirping.

"It's hard to believe that we've been here for about seven years now."

"I know."

"Did I ever thank you for giving me a chance?"

"You did once."

"Then I'll say it again. Thanks for giving me a chance."

"No problem, Grimlock," Bumblebee said with a smile. Gimlock's stomach felt like it was doing flips when Bumblebee smiled at him, he hoped he was okay. "Grimlock, have you thought about the kiss we shared?"

"I have."

"I have too."

Gimlock's face felt hot as he thought about the kiss. He looked away hoping Bumblebee wouldn't notice. Bumblebee chuckled, "I saw that blush." With a small whimper, Grimlock covered his face. "Do you want to do it again?" Bumblebee asked starting to blush as well.

"If you want to," Grimlock replied softly as he looked at Bumblebee.

"Do you want to?"

"Yeah."

Bumblebee smiled before he leaned in to give him another kiss and Grimlock leaned into the kiss. Their lips met and they kissed again, this time Bumblebee made it a bit more passionate. Grimlock wrapped his arms around Bumblebee, deepening the kiss.

Why am I so into this kiss? I've never been into a kiss like this. Bumblebee wondered to himself.

I really like this. It's even better than the first time. Grimlock thinks to himself.

"Well, isn't this sweet," a voice suddenly came out interrupting their moment. Grimlock broke from the kiss and looked to who had spoken. It was the Raptor.

"Shadowrunner!" Bumblebee exclaims as he gets into a fighting pose.

Grimlock transformed into his beast form and stood in a defensive stance, "What are you doing here?"

"Was just passing by."

"Where's your boss?" Bumblebee asked.

"Off doing something, he doesn't always inform us of what he's doing."

"He's gotta be up to something," Grimlock whispered to Bumblebee.

Bumblebee pulled out his gun, "We're taking you in, 'Con."

"Hmm, I don't think so," Shadowrunner took off running in the other direction. Grimlock chased after him with a roar, not wanting him to get away. Bumblebee ran the other way to try and cut him off. Shadowrunner glanced behind him and chuckled as he made a quick U-turn, running under Grimlock. Grimlock manages to swipe him with his tail as he runs under him. Shadowrunner let out a yelp as he fell to the ground. Bumblebee came running over to them and kicked the 'Con in the side as he pointed his gun at him.

Shadowrunner raised his servos in surrender, "Oh man, Ripjaw is going to be pissed."

Bumblebee brings out his cuffs and cuffs him, then Grimlock picks up Shadowrunner and they head back to the scrapyard, "One down four to go," Bumblebee says feeling proud of their achievement.

"Yeah, good luck with that, the others won't go down so easily," Shadowrunner grumbled.

"We'll see about that."

They make it back to the scrapyard and put Shadowrunner in a stasis pod, "Hey, Lieutenant. I see you caught one of them," Strongarm greeted as she and Steeljaw walked up to Bumblebee and Grimlock.

"Yep, just four more to go," Grimlock replied, "What have you guys been up to?"

"Just hanging around spending time with each other. Steeljaw and I are going to investigate some activity," Strongarm replied.

"Alright, you both be careful," Bumblebee tells them.

"Want to get some Energon?" Grimlock asked.

"Sure," Bumblebee replied.

The two headed off to the Energon shack and both picked up a cube, "Here's to the capture of Shadowrunner," Bumblebee said holding up his cube before drinking the Energon. Grimlock raised his cube and practically inhaled his Energon.

"You're thirsty, aren't you?"

"Chasing after Shadowrunner was a workout."

"Indeed it was," Bumblebee chuckled.

"But it's too bad that Shadowrunner interrupted our kiss," Grimlock stated.

"It is. But at least we got him finally," Bumblebee says raising his Energon cube before taking another gulp from it.

Bumblebee and Grimlock watched Razorclaw as he helped the others with small tasks around the scrapyard. The poor Wolf-Con had been through so much, their sparks went out to him, "Do you think he'll be okay?" Grimlock asked worried for the mech.

"I sure hope so, poor guy. But I'm sure Soundwave will help him through it all."

"Yeah, it's really nice to depend on someone that you really care about."

"Yes, it is."

"Is there anyone that you care about? Like how Steeljaw is with Strongarm?" Grimlock asked.

"Y-yes..."

"If you don't mind me asking, who is it?" Grimlock asked with a blush.

"You," Bumblebee said sheepishly as he started blushing like mad.

Gimlock's blush grew bigger as he scratched the back of his helm, "R-really?"

"Yes, I've been finding myself getting feelings for you lately."

"Why's that? I mean I've been feeling the same way about you too."

"Not sure, guess I like how strong you are and how you can handle anything that is thrown at you."

"I like how you look after everyone like they're your family and for giving former Decepticons a second chance."

"Really?" Bumblebee asked as he started blushing harder.

"Well, yeah, and I think you're an amazing team leader."

"Well, thanks."

"You're welcome," Grimlock grinned.

Bumblebee grabbed his face and kissed him again. Grimlock made a surprised squeak before kissing him back. Bumblebee wrapped his arms around his neck as he deepened the kiss. Grimlock moaned into the kiss when he felt Bumblebee's arms around his neck. Bumblebee licked at his lips looking for entrance and Grimlock broke from the kiss.

"Um, Bumblebee, why did you lick my lips?" Grimlock asked in confusion.

"I was trying to get you to open up so I can put my tongue in."

Grimlock blinked in shock, "You can do that?"

"Yes, you can."

"Would it be okay if I try it?"

"Sure," Bumblebee replied with a smile.

Grimlock smiled before pressing his lips against Bumblebee's again. This time he slowly mimicked the mech's movements from a moment ago. With a chuckle, Bumblebee opened his mouth to let his tongue slip in while he slips his tongue into his mouth. Unsure of what to do, Grimlock just copied whatever Bumblebee would do. Bumblebee moaned as he flicked his tongue around Grim's mouth, tasting him out. Grimlock rubbed his tongue against Bumblebee's, liking how he tasted.

Primus, he tastes so good. Bumblebee says to himself. Grimlock wrapped his arms around Bumblebee pulling him closer. Bumblebee pulls back from the kiss, "Want to go to your room or mine?"

"What for?" Grimlock asked.

"I want to interface with you."

"Can we even do that?"

"Yes, if you want to."

"Could we go to your room?"

"Sure."

I'm both bothered by and really happy that the circle of prime status are built in Kaon. Like one hand it's where vector sigma is located. On the other it's probably an insult to the depictioncons who raged the Great War on the terms against the The High council for injustice of the lower classes. And seeing how in the episode the police force was basically hypnotized by some time of Cybertronian Elite, it might be the later.

The GrimBee Story

Chapter 28

Months had passed and seasons had changed. Grimlock's leg is completely healed now and he can move around more. He and Bumblebee had grown closer and gotten used to being bond mates now. The bots had finally come to trust Ripjaw and Amberblade and they all started getting along. The time was approaching for Amberblade to have her sparkling, she and Ripjaw were staying in a cave they had made their new home. "How are you doing, Amberblade?" Ripjaw asked after they woke up while he was holding her close.

"I'm alright," she replied softly as she nuzzled him lovingly. Shortly after she groaned in pain, "Or not," she whimpered.

"What's wrong?"

"The sparkling just kicked really hard," she chuckled as the pain started to go away, "Don't kick so hard," she scolded gently.

Ripjaw chuckled, "You had me worried. Just think, we'll be having this sparkling in a couple of days or so."

"I still can't believe that we're going to be parents soon."

"Me neither, I honestly never saw myself as being a father."

"I'm sure you'll be great. Besides, if we need any help we can ask the Autobots. We have to make sure the sparkling is kept away from the water, sharp rocks, and the cliffs. Ohh what were we thinking living here, this place screams danger." She looked around fearing for her sparkling's safety.

"Don't worry, our little one will be just fine."

She snuggled closer to him, "You're right. We still need to think of a name."

"Yes, we do."

"Our little femme is going to have the best name ever."

"Yes. But what will fit her?"

"What do you think of Ashfang?"

"Sounds fitting."

"I'm glad you like it," she purred.

"I think it's a great name," a voice came from the entrance of the cave. Ripjaw let out a growl as he placed an arm around Amberblade protectively. "Easy Ripjaw," Thunderhoof said as he put up his servos.

"I didn't expect anyone coming," Ripjaw said as he started to relax.

"Sorry, I wanted to see how you two were doing."

"How's Emberwing and Metalsound doing?" Amberblade asked.

"They're both doing good. Metalsound is almost fully recovered and Emberwing has been helping me look after her."

"That's good, I'm sure she can be quite the handful at times, but I'm glad she's helping look after her mom," Amberblade said with a smile.

"She can at times. So, how do you feel about being a father?"

"I'm still really nervous."

"I know just how you feel, I was really nervous about Emberwing's birth."

"Really? I don't remember you being nervous about anything."

"Well, there's a first for everyone."

"I guess you're right. Should I be prepared for anything?"

Thunderhoof goes on telling him what to look for.

"I just hope I don't lose my temper," Ripjaw replied, fearing that he might accidentally hurt his sparkling.

"I'm sure you'll be fine, and if you need any help just give us a call," Thunderhoof responded.

"We certainly will."

"Are you enjoying living on the island?"

"Yes, it's rather nice and peaceful," Amberblade replied.

"Where did you stay when you first came to this planet?" Ripjaw asked Thunderhoof.

"I just slept wherever I was."

"I wonder if that's what every Decepticon would do when they first come here," Amberblade wondered out loud.

"Pretty much, we all just slept where we were. Except for when we found Decepticon Island then we stayed there."

"Decepticon Island?" Ripjaw echoed in question.

"It was the other half of the Alchemor ship where we kept refuge."

"Wow, I bet that must have been something to get used to."

"It was but it was nice."

"How long have you and Steeljaw known each other? You guys seem to be real close."

"I would say over seven years," Thunderhoof replied.

"Wow, that's a long time."

"Time sure does fly by."

"Yes, it does. I'm guessing his mate is what made him change over to the good side."

"That is correct."

Amberblade chuckled, "It's amazing how love can change a bot."

"What made you two come together?" Thunderhoof asked.

Amberblade stayed quiet as a blush crept up on her cheek plates, "She signed up to join my team back on Cybertron," Ripjaw began explaining. "But then we were arrested and found ourselves here. I've been having desires for her and one night I finally gave into my desires and we fragged, we just went from there."

Just then, Amberblade yelled out in pain, "Oh I think she's coming!"

"Are you sure she didn't just kick again?" Ripjaw asked.

"I'm sure!!"

:: Soundwave, we need a Ground Bridge stat! :: Thunderhoof commed the silent mech.

A second later, a Ground Bridge opened up. Ripjaw carefully picked up Amberblade and headed through the portal. They go through and head to Med Bay, "Knock Out, the sparkling is coming!"

"Put her on the berth. Amberblade you need to take off your interface panel," the medic instructed. Ripjaw helped her onto the berth and she took off her panel.

Grimlock took a shaky step towards Bumblebee who was only a few feet away from him. He wanted to get the hang of fighting again, "Just take your stance, Grim. I know it hurts but at least try," Bumblebee encourages him.

"Well, at least we don't have any threats at the moment. With Ripjaw and Amberblade now with us, we got nothing right now," Nightback whispered to Seajumper.

"Yeah, at least there's a time for peace," Seajumper whispered back.

The kids jumped when they heard a scream, "What was that?" Nightback asked with wide optics.

"It was nothing, kids," Bumblebee told them.

"Are you sure?" Seajumper asked as another scream filled the air.

"I'm sure."

Grimlock jogged towards Bumblebee with a battle cry. Bumblebee took a stance and got ready to defend himself. Grimlock threw a punch and Bumblebee dodged and stood to the side. The Dinobot slid a little as he tried to regain his balance, putting most of his weight on his healed leg.

"You okay?"

"Yeah, I'm okay. It'll take some time to get used to this again."

"I know it will."

Grimlock smiled as he nuzzled Bumblebee, much to the boys' disgust, "Do you have to do that in front of us?" Seajumper asked.

"Sorry, boys," Grimlock said trying to hold back a chuckle.

"My parents do that a lot and it grosses me out," Seajumper says with a disgusted look.

"Mine too," Nightback responds.

"You know you two are gonna be the same way when you're older and find the right one for you," Grimlock stated.

"I don't think so," Seajumper replied with a huff, "Femmes are weird."

"I have to agree, femmes are weird, I honestly can't see myself falling for one and doing all that mushy stuff," Nightback stated.

Is Amberblade's sparkling coming? Grimlock asked when he heard another scream.

Sure sounds like it.

Sounds really painful.

From what I understand it is painful.

Would you want to have a sparkling?

It would be nice but I don't think I can.

Is it because you're the leader of the Autobots and you would be worried that something might happen?

No, because of the damage I sustained during the war.

Do you mean when you lost your voice?

There was more damage than just losing a voice box.

There was? Grimlock looked at Bumblebee with worry hoping that he wasn't bringing up a bad memory. Nightback and Seajumper decided to go check on Emberwing.

Yes, there was.

Wrapping his arms around his mate, Grimlock held him close. You don't have to talk about it if you don't want to. I'm sorry if I brought up a bad memory.

Thanks, Grim, I'll be fine. Shall we go see what's going on in Med Bay?

Sure.

The two head to Med Bay. Once they get in there they find Thunderhoof waiting outside the room, "Is Amberblade having her sparkling?" Bumblebee asked.

"Yes, I hope Ripjaw is doing okay in there. I haven't heard him say anything," Thunderhoof replied. "I'm gonna go check on Metalsound and Emberwing. I'll be back later," Thunderhoof says as he walks out of Med Bay.

Sometime later, Ratchet opens the door to let them in to see the new sparkling. They see Amberblade lying on a berth holding her new daughter with Ripjaw standing close by.

"Aw, she's adorable," Bumblebee stated.

The sparkling looked up at Bumblebee with her big yellow optics, "She is adorable," Grimlock smiled as he waved at her.

"That she is," Ripjaw agreed.

"What are you gonna name her?" Bumblebee asked.

"We decided on Ashfang," Amberblade replied. Ashfang reached for Ripjaw wanting him.

"Fitting name. She certainly got your fangs," Bumblebee responded.

"Looks like she wants her papa," Amberblade stated.

"I don't know, she's so tiny," Ripjaw replied, afraid he might hurt her.

"You'll be just fine," Amberblade said as she made room for him to sit, "She won't bite. I think."

"You think?" Ripjaw asked feeling hesitant.

"I'm sure."

Sitting beside his mate, Ripjaw looked at Ashfang who looked at him, her small arms reaching for him. Hesitantly and carefully he reached over and took her from her mother. Holding her close, Ripjaw stared at Ashfang unsure of what to do. Ashfang looked up at her father and smiled. Chuckling softly, Ripjaw smiled back, "Hello, Ashfang."

Ashfang just let out a sound of happiness, "I'm happy to see you too," he replied as he gently rocked her. Ashfang let out a small yawn as she started drifting off into recharge and Ripjaw just smiled.

All was well for them now and after a couple of days in Med Bay Ripjaw and Amberblade headed back home with their new sparkling. The Autobots started getting ready for whatever else would be thrown at them as Bumblebee and Grimlock worked on strengthening their relationship and bond.

probably muggle-born but also top of most of his classes

what can he say hes amazed by this shit

really good at theory-based subjects especially

history of magic is his bitch lets be real

sketches in his books and stuff

says he likes sketching with quills the most because theyre more aesthetic

donghyuck says its because hes pretentious

but the whole group pitched in to get him some really nice canvases and paints and other tools

one of his paintings is hanging in the school somewhere, and the little girl in it smiles and greets all the students as they walk past

somehow she always tries to spit on people who had been annoying him recently - and them only

sometimes she spits on Donghyuck for no reason

jeno laughs and says its because she has a crush on him

uses magic for the dumbest things just because he can

he mastered the wingardium leviosa spell within a week because he couldn't be bothered getting up to get things

when he gets close to graduation, hes pretty much practicing simple wandless magic

once freaked out the first years because jaemin charmed a storm cloud to hang around him for an entire day

it flashed lightning when he got particularly annoyed, which was a lot because that cloud was annoying as shit

has a really old owl that literally looks evil but has called it something like “snuggles”

laughs when he unintentionally swoops too low and skims other students’ heads on mail day

buys all his friends gifts during the holidays and comes back with bags filled with fun shit

pretends he never buys gifts for chenle and jisung

always ends up giving them more

cause hes soft like that

but he headlocks them after to show his dominance

has a habit of throwing his cases in the general direction of the dorm when he comes back from holidays and accidentally hitting other students

plays quidditch in his free time

debates strategies with Jeno during their free periods

gets called a traitor by his own captain

couldnt really give a shit about his own team, he prefers to support his friends

wears his school uniform properly and is the only one in the group who does so

probably quidditch captain

and dubbed the best player on the team

super humble about it too

always commends his team for doing their best when they lose and every member loves him a lot

the captain that's always saying stuff like “it doesn't matter how this game ends... as long as we try our hardest and play as a team”

the entire team rolls their eyes at his cheesiness but the lack of pressure keeps them at ease

and majority of the time they play really well

though its clear his focus is on quidditch, he still does really well in his classes

cant cook but is somehow rlly good at potions??

likes all the really tiny creatures in care of magical creatures

and they like him too

has a slightly damaged snitch that he carries around with him at all times

one of the wings broke during his first ever game of quidditch and he never got rid of it

he keeps it in the pocket of his robes and fiddles with it when he's anxious about something

has a really good poker face when he's stressed and you'd never know until you hear the soft clicking of his hand playing with it in his pocket while he studies

has a terrible poker face when something confuses him though

during class its so obvious when he doesnt get something

renjun once charmed question marks to hang around his head and everyone in the class died laughing

overall great sense of humour

he brought a cat

of course

and its always getting him into trouble for wandering into the off-limits areas of the castle or into the restricted section of the library

once jaemin joked that the cat was actually an animagus that was purposely trying to get him in trouble 

and jeno was spooked for like a week

wouldn't let the cat sleep on his bed and almost had a heart attack when he saw it wandering the halls between classes

but there was nothing wrong with the cat

shes just a curious girl

had a major glow-up between 6th and 7th year and everyone fell in love with him lmao

like everyone knew he was fit from quidditch but they didnt know he was that fit you know

at least when he first arrived at Hogwarts in first year

has really good intentions though

everyone thought he would get sorted into Slytherin

but he ended up commentating because he couldnt play

absolutely hilarious and everyone loves him for it

is Not afraid to call out foul plays

mutters quick apologies to the professors when they scold him but does it again later anyway

tbh is actually really popular

known for being dared to stand on the Slytherin table and sing at the top of his lungs 

and actually doing it

he got two weeks detention

has a talent for defence against the dark arts

acts like the smartest person in the room during that class

hes lowkey right tho

had a toad for his first few years of hogwarts but the toad ended up passing away so now he has a really troublesome owl

the owl itself is a good boy, flies fast and efficiently, but has a nasty habit of pecking donghyuck when hes hungry

“but hes hungry all the time” he whines when jaemin explains the bird’s just hungry. meanwhile, jaemin’s owl is sitting softly beside him, her eyes closed as he pets her

every first day back from holidays hyuck has red lines on his hands, arms and ears from the owl

chenle says its for giving the poor bastard a terrible name

donghyuck never actually refers to his owl by his proper name, always things like “bastard” and “dipshit”

theres a conspiracy theory about the owl’s real name and no one in their group will spill the secret

complains that the animals in care of magical creatures like him more than his own pet

ravenclaw’s biggest flirt and most popular student

probably didnt even want to run for house captain but still got the position

theres a rumour that he was offered head boy but he turned it down

was the first one to find the kitchens and claimed it as the unofficial hang out spot for their group

if you’re ever missing jaemin, he’s probably in the kitchens chatting up the elves and stealing food every now and then

carries snacks with him everywhere for when he needs to comfort one of his babies house members

literally all the younger year levels feel so comfortable coming to him with their problems

has no issue with staying up in the common room to talk through things with someone

is known to walk people to their classes and then bolt to his own classrooms so hes not late

50% of the school is already in love with him

he was given the angel reputation back in first year and it hasn't let him down

is kind of a troublemaker tho

teases his classmates and even some professors that he has a good relationship with

really really loves transfiguration

probably wants to become an animagus

also wants to be an auror

absolutely loves defence of the dark arts

his owl is white and regal

like genuinely beautiful

she always looks like shes happy to see you

just like her owner uwu

he named her something sweet and meaningful

when Renjuns owl isnt able to fly, jaemin’s owl is eager to take Renjuns mail back to his family for him

wears his jumper all year round

its a good look though,, no ones complaining

was on the quidditch team up until his final year

he dropped it to focus on his studies and also being house captain

it takes him forever to go anywhere because he stops to talk to everyone

unfortunately it doesnt always transfer into his grades

he has such a great interest in everything,,, just not on what hes learning

learnt fourth year history of magic in his first year but still almost failed his exam at the end of year

also hes the best other hufflepuff in the group

didnt understand quidditch for at least a year

ended up in the team in second year and is actually really good

has the loudest laugh in school

the older professors claim they can hear him from the other side of the castle

somehow gets his hands on all the coolest magic stuff

has the marauders map no doubt

bought himself an invisibility cloak to mess with his friends

makes his professors laugh a lot

made sure to select it as a subject the entire time he was at hogwarts as a slack class

doesnt really study and then feels threatened when someone gets a mark close to his

studies his butt off for the next test to maintain his status as top rank

definitely had a rat first year because he thought they were cool

and also because he knows rats can be pets like ??? wyd with owls you guys ??? shouldn't they be out in the wild or smth??

was super depressed when he found out how short the lifespans of rats were

ended up having to buy an owl in third year because rip nugget 2k15 :((

his owl is Small

thought it would be funny to call it renjun

but then renjun wouldnt talk to him for almost a week

visits the owlery at least once a week during his free periods to check on his owl

collects his thoughts up there

also rlly likes feeding the owls

sometimes steals Jeno’s cat

catch him in his dorm studying on his bed with Jeno’s cat sleeping in his lap

chenle claims its because the cats like the warm greenhouse vibe the Hufflepuff dorm has going on

but the real reason he bribed the cat into loving him when he first met it

probably was the one to lead the cat to the off-limits areas of the castle

kinda shy but is rlly admired by everyone

likes to piss jeno off by missing practice every two practices to study

but low-key hes so good he doesnt really have to go at all

doesnt want a career in quidditch but is constantly reminded he could have one if he wanted it

easily the most popular boy in his year

got asked out a few times this year and awkwardly rejected them all in the nicest way possible

he has a cat thats just as long and skinny as he is

jeno likes to call it sungie and it now responds to that name

enjoys care of magical creatures but very hesitant towards the creatures

but because of his care and precaution, the animals all really love him lmao

gets really soft around them now

seriously oblivious to his admirers tho

chenle once said if the triwizard tournament was to be brought back jisung would be the one to be chosen

has lived in fear ever since

the only one in the group who has attempted and can successfully perform wordless magic

he knows way too many jinxes and charms off the top of his head that he can easily jinx you without even uttering a word

once was studying in the great hall when one of his friends teased him about rejecting someone and without looking up from his book he just lifted his wand and waved it, jinxing the apple in his friend’s hand to bite him

got detention but honestly the professor was so pleased with his progress it was only a one hour session

has a lot of sass

never Fully awake at breakfast

always looks really good in the evenings tho

he comes down to breakfast with his tie half undone and the top button of his shirt open

undoes the top buttons when he’s stressed too

professors love having him as a student

especially because they know he hangs out with jaemin

but the fact that he was in renjun and Donghyuck and Chenle’s group was enough for them to be wary

but hes the perfect blend of fun and focused in lessons

likes studying outside in summer

enjoys walking around school grounds during the holidays
