Ray really had no choice but to hack into your thoughts… right? (825 words)  Content warning: manipulation 

It was no trouble at all for Ray to hack into your brain and make you love him.

Of course, the first step was to make sure that you felt confident and secure in your room at Magenta. Perhaps his first mistake had been to leave you with a door that anybody other than Ray could unlock— no wonder you couldn’t enjoy your paradise, living under conditions like that. The next step was to give you the elixir of salvation to ensure that you’d be easier to guide on the path to salvation and enlightenment. Ray could never blame you for not understanding everything right away. After all, he’s the one who’s meant to teach you, and luckily for you, he’s very patient. How could he be any other way with the love of his life?

After that, it wasn’t too difficult to free you from your toxic thought patterns. The defenses you put up around your mind were flimsy, lines of code that Ray could crack with a flick of his elegant wrist. All he needed to do was teach you that Magenta is a paradise, a special place where you and he can live happily, regardless of the odds stacked against you both. He explained over and over again that he was here to guide you, to help you, to care for you, until, finally, he began to see his desired output.

You’re perfectly capable of picking a cute outfit and changing into it, but you allow Ray to do it for you because you actually want to spend time with him. “I shouldn’t be more than a few minutes.”

“Alright,” you agree. You’ve been so agreeable ever since Ray explained the purpose of this place to you. It’s hard to remember the time you clung to him, sobbing and begging him to leave Magenta with you— you were so confused then, but now, those problematic lines of code have been deleted from the script that runs through your head. 

Ray gently pets your hair, taking care not to cause you even the slightest harm. You lean eagerly into the touch; it’s clear that you’re neither afraid of him nor disgusted by him. Finally, he has everything he’s ever wanted— you’re here, and you love him, and he’s so close to finishing the task that the Savior has assigned him. So why does Ray’s life continue to feel so strangely empty?

2024Workshop zum Safer Internet Day am 13.2.

Persönliche Daten sollen Privatangelegenheit bleiben

Heute in zwei Wochen am 13. Februar ist der Safer Internet Day und wie in jedem Jahr gibt es bundesweit wieder viele Veranstaltungen, in denen darüber diskutiert wird, wie wir mit der Digitalisierung leben wollen.

Wo sind die Chancen und wo die Risiken der Digitalisierung?

Mit diesem Thema beschäftigen wir uns seit unserer Vereinsgründung vor 15 Jahren. Als eines der wichtigsten Themen hat sich in den letzten Jahren herausgeschält, dass wir verhindern müssen, dass die großen Internetkonzerne

unsere persönlichen Daten nutzen und weiter verkaufen,

mit unseren Daten immer reicher werden,

sie uns mit unseren eigenen Daten steuern und manipulieren können,

die Chancen für kleine Start-Ups praktisch auf Null schrumpfen.

Wir haben unsere Erkenntnisse dazu vor einiger Zeit in einem Artikel zusammengefasst Persönliche Daten sollen Privatangelegenheit bleiben.

Diese Erkenntnisse sind uns nicht in einer "Erleuchtung" zugefallen, sondern wir mussten darauf stoßen durch die Hunderte von Datenskandale, die die großen Internetkonzerne, wie Google, Facebook, WhatsApp, Twitter, Instagram, u.a. zu verantworten haben. Im wesentlichen gehen diese Skandale fast immer auf die Big5 zurück, Google, Amazon, Facebook, Apple, und Microsoft (GAFAM).

Unsere Veranstaltung zum Safer Internet Day am 13. Februar

Am Dienstag, den 13.2. wollen wir von 19-21 Uhr in Berlin im Linkstreff Wedding, Malplaquetstr. 12, Nähe U-Leopoldplatz mit allen Interessierten wieder einmal darüber ins Gespräch kommen, wie wir durch die Nutzung scheinbar "kostenloser" Internetdienste, wie Google, Facebook, WhatsApp, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok u.v.m. unsere Privatsphäre an diese Internetgiganten ausliefern. Gemeinsam wollen wir am Safer Internet Day darüber sprechen

wo überall unsere persönlichen Daten gefährdet sind,

was wir persönlich dagegen tun können,

welche Maßnahmen wir von den verantwortlichen Politikern erwarten.

Dieser Workshop kann nur als erster Einstieg in das Thema dienen, um uns über die Gefahren klar zu werden, denen wir uns durch die Nutzung solcher Dienste ausliefern. Wir werden auch über bessere Alternativen sprechen, z.B. sichere, verschlüsselte und freie Messenger, ohne diese in der kurzen Zeit dieses Workshops genauer analysieren zu können. Aber in Folgeveranstaltungen bei unseren regelmäßig stattfindenden Offenen Treffen wird dies möglich sein. Wir treffen uns monatlich meist an einem Dienstag am gleichen Ort. Die Termine finden sich stets in unserem Kalender.

This is what his model looks like in full! This model was dubbed the Harbinger drone. Rather than metal blades, the wing blades of the harbinger are made of a tough glass-like corrosion and temperature resistant material, and the ends are laced with the same substance as their tail, which is nanobots that eat through everything they touch. The tail is coated in spines, has a bladed end, and is chalked full of the nanobots that will invade any fissures the blades make.

These are some of his functions! He can us his antennae to hail and communicate with near by drones, like having a communication link. He can also fire a high powered laser that can cause serious damage, but he can control the rate at witch it fires. If he wanted to, he could just use the laser in his hand to play with cats. He has a viral program that he can infect other drones with as needed, which will cause them to glitch and overheat, but not to the point of crashing. Just enough to subdue the host. He can use his antennae to hack as well, but that takes quite a bit of concentration. And finally, the EMP. The emp is made spesifically to disable all near by electronics, and drones. Its dangerous to use, because it is emitted by his core. It means he's in a vulnerable state untill it emits the pulse.

He was sent off from colony to colony to hunt the absolute solver, and warn surviving colonists (and drones, though that wasnt programmed). A messenger. But he mostly only found and killed their resident disassembly squads. He's targeting copper 9 next. But dont be worried! He may seen like a mindless killer, but he's actually an insatiably curious and very gullible himbo. Most dont take the time to figure this out.

Sup! It's Sam from mc-and-elise (this is my main lol)! So can we talk about how Saeyoung is totally the kinda guy to build irl movie or video game robots? Like he'd totally see Baymax or BB-8 or Connor from DBH or WALL-E and be like "I can totally make that-"

Cue Saeran or MC or Vandy coming home to find him in the middle of tinkering with a life size version of these robots.

Oh, definitely! Robots are one of his passions, you can't tell me he doesn't get inspiration from his favourite media. Especially when he gets in his creative zone. Watch him spice up a whole human size Baymax in like 2 or 3 days without breaking a sweat. Not to mention his cosplays that will absolutely blow your mind. This man is a genius after all!

Even better: if we're talking about him doing this after all the events of his route and secret endings have occured, he now has a loyal supporter by his side! His MC is totally like an excited puppy whenever he comes up with a new genius invention, and that only spurs him on to keep creating and bettering his skills to impress them. I don't know, I just think it's cute that he can finally create something that will last! He can create something that will bring joy and wonder not only to him alone, but to others as well. It's the reason he decides to open up a toy shop in the first place!

And can we imagine watching WALL-E as a Choi household? What if Saeran really likes the movie? What if Saeyoung sees it? What if he decides to create a live WALL-E because he noticed how his brother enjoyed watching the story unfold? And now I will cry about this version of WALL-E taking care of Saeran's plants and keeping him company when he feels overwhelmed... They do already have Meowy for that, but I have a soft spot for WALL-E (⁠╥⁠﹏⁠╥⁠)

The messenger probes are an unknown piece of technology special to Neo Los Alamos. The half-cut ball shaped floating devices whizz around the laboratories in search of the person they have a message to. Disguised as a communication device, these machines double as a surveillance tool; communicating with each other and tracking steps accordingly, the probes are able to find the recipient in practically no time due to their massive network system.

The probes are usually sent out when an important message is meant to be end-to-end encrypted. Though still monitored, the devices cannot be hacked, manipulated, or tuned into by a third party as the message is directly relayed from the brain of the sender to the brain of the recipient. Their creators are unknown.
