"Sons of Santa": A Holiday Sons of Anarchy Imagine: Jax Teller
…….
Holiday Sons of Anarchy Imagine
Jax Teller x Plus Size Reader PS Reader, Reader
Use of Y/N because if I give her a full backstory, I’ll never get this up. Y/N it is.
Fem Identifying reader because I love women. I love men and thems too. However, Jax is a dude and I have bi panic so Y/N is a plush fem identifying. I’m selfish and I want both, lol.
Warnings: Language? Jax in general? Biker gang? Idk. I mean, have you seen SOA? It’s kind of a warning in and of itself. Mentions of Jax having a good time with himself, I guess. Mentions of sexy thoughts? Mentions of Jax ready to kick the ass of someone who he felt disrespected reader?
If you are under the age of 18, hit the road. Love you. Wish you well. Merry Christmas, Blessed Yule, Happy Kwanzaa, Happy Hannukah, Happy Holidays. Drink water, eat well, love yourself and all that jazz but get the F out. I love you but that’s a negative for me. Tis the season for you to let this one go and come back when you are of legal age. Love you but get out.
…..
…..
…..
Jax was just about asleep when a voice that he loved oh so well called his name.
“Jax?”
He hummed, clearly out of it in his post cum haze and almost completely into dreamland.
“Jax.”
Another grumble that was barely intelligible at all.
Truthfully, Y/N knew all too well that it was just about useless to even talk to this man if he was asleep.
However, it was rather important so she kept yelling at him through the door.
What she didn’t know was that he had just been busy with himself to the thoughts of her no less.
He was laying there half asleep.
Drained of all bodily fluids.
A sheer husk of a man really.
And in his post nut haze he kept hearing the voice of the very woman that he had been fantasizing about.
Did Y/N know this?
Of course not.
So, she thought nothing of it when she used the key and let herself in.
She didn’t really think anything of it when she found him naked in his bed sleeping either.
Y/N had seen Jax naked before.
She’d walked in on him and whatever poor unfortunate soul he’d chosen to take to bed the night before.
Not that they weren’t satisfied.
They usually always were.
It’s Jax.
However, when it was like that… they weren’t around for a long time… just a good time.
The one he wanted for a good time was currently standing in his home and he had always thought that she was far too good for him.
But he still thought about it.
Alot.
He had no shame about that.
However, for Y/N she hadn’t been aware of that and Jax was just her best friend.
She’d seen him covered in his own puke from a hangover.
She’d seen him high.
She’d seen him tweaking.
She’d seen his best day and his worst.
Naked was just a perk because hey, Jax was hot.
The two of them were close enough that it just didn’t phase her.
What she did NOT expect was to see the rising tent under the sheet or to hear him moaning her name in his sleep.
This was a scene that had danced around in her dreams for years.
Or maybe it was nightmares.
She couldn’t be sure anymore.
“Y/N, babydoll.”
Definitely her nightmares.
This was torture.
She would probably wake him up, tell him she returned the feelings and jump right in the bed with him.
Any other day.
However, today she needed that man in a way that did not involve him being naked, time was pressing and therefore she had no choice.
With everything going on at the moment, every single day counted.
She pulled her gloves off and stuck her hands right to his naked chest.
He shot out of the bed so fast that she barely jumped back when he lunged at her.
When he finally calmed down and stopped swearing, he leveled her with a hard look.
“Y/N. What was that?”
“I need you.”
He gulped. Hard.
‘That little…’ he thought to himself. ‘She has no fucking idea was she does to me when she says shit like that.’
“Well, judging by the tent you were pitching and the fact that you were literally moaning my name I’d say I gotta a pretty good idea.”
“Uh…”
“You said that last bit out loud, Jax.”
The blond man wanted to die, “Ok, so-”
“Listen, I’ll be blunt because time is of the essence here, dear.” she began and Jax narrowed those blue eyes at her all the while a smirk tugged at his lips. “Ok, let’s speed run this, shall we?”
He nodded, fully prepared to watch that crazy ADHD brain of hers go into full effect.
“Right.” she nodded herself. “OK so, A- Before you lecture me about popping in unexpectedly, you are the one that gave me a key and I have been banging on that door and screaming your name for the past ten minutes. It’s not my fault you sleep like a log.”
Jax had to swallow again at the absolutely filthy images that flooded his brain at her choice of wording.
“B- Yes, I came in here though it wasn’t unannounced. You just sleep like the dead. Also, I will admit that I did see that you have a hard on and that you happened to be moaning my name. Unless you know another Y/N who you also always call ‘Babydoll’ in which case fuck you. I thought we had something special… I think it’s safe to assume you were having a dream about me. Flattering really. I’d also like to inform you that I share these feelings for you and I would be more than happy to join you in participating in these activities in the future.”
“Fuck yeah.” he breathed, barely holding the sheet up as he moved towards her.
“Ah, ah, ah.” she said, placing a hand against his chest.
“What? You just said-”
“Point C is that I need you.”
“Oh, fuck baby, I need you too.”
“No, Teller. I need your help.”
“Oh, I can’t help you alright.”
“Jax, if you don’t calm it down for five seconds- so help me. I will call your mother.”
“Alright, fine, what is it?” he said, mildly annoyed but also fully taking the opportunity to pin her against the wall.
“You’re about to lose your sheet, Jax.”
“You’ve already seen it, Y/N.”
“Yes, but it’s December.”
“If I get cold, I’m sure you’ll find a way to take care of me.” he whispered. “Keep talking. Tell me what you need and I’ll do my best.”
“Oh, you fucker. How dare you tempt me like this?” she laughed before shaking her head. “Right. I’m here for a reason. What would I have to do to get the Sons to ride in a charity santa event?”
Jax blinked at her, his dirty mind not even having a second to be filthy when he was genuinely so shocked.
“You want the sons to participate in a charity ride?” he asked.
“Yes.”
“Why?”
“Because those fuckers from the county over were supposed to do a vintage muscle car parade to raise awareness for the families affected by that wildfire last month and they bailed on me. All you have to do is ride. I got the santa hats and everything. It’s a free event. No admission so everyone is welcome to bring their families. We’re selling plates for five bucks to raise some money for the families and we’re doing a toy drive so they got something to give their kids for Christmas. It might not be much but it’ll be something.” she said, genuinely getting upset towards the end.
Jax turned serious, “Babydoll, of course I’ll help. What happened with the car show though? I mean, that usually does draw a bigger crowd.”
“That dickhead, Marvin, who runs the car dealership asked me out and I turned him down. Very politely, mind you. I could’ve hurt his feelings over especially when he was being such a douche. However, I ain’t trying to hurt nobody’s feelings so I very politely declined and then suddenly, every single one of them pulled out. I’ve called them all, Jax. It’s bullshit excuses and just straight lies from some of them. I’m just discouraged.” she sighed. “Part of me thinks I should’ve just said yes until I got through the event. At least then maybe the kids-”
“Hey.” he cut her off with a stern look. “No, don’t say that shit. You don’t sacrifice yourself for anyone. You’re good at it. I know that all too fucking well but don’t. You have a right to say no and I’m glad you did. I’ll deal with that asshole later.”
“Jax…”
He gave her a look that told her it was pretty much useless to have this conversation because he felt like she’d been disrespected and therefore he wasn’t gonna let this go.
“Ok, ok. Just try not to kill him.” she said, grimacing at the thought of it.
“No promises.” he teased before chuckling at her wide eyes and pulling her into his arms, “I’m kidding. I’m kidding.”
“Ok.”
“Kinda.”
“Jax!”
He couldn’t help his laugh.
She was so cute when she was riled up.
He finally pulled away from her to look in her eyes, “Alright, so what can I do to help get this thing back on the rails?”
“First you can pick up your sheet because I can’t talk to you about this when you’re naked.” she said. “I thought I could. Told myself I could just seconds ago but we learn new things every day. Apparently, I can not. I don’t know if it’s the hormones, my moral compass or the ADHD but I can not talk to you about a charity event when you’re dick is staring at me. And he is staring at me, Jax Teller, pointing straight at me!”
Jax couldn’t help but laugh though he picked up the sheet anyway.
“When is the event?” he asked, sitting down on the bed and tapping the spot beside him.
Once she was sure he was sufficiently covered, she plopped down beside him.
“Next Saturday.” she said, laying her head on his shoulder when he wrapped his arm around her and tugged her into his side.
His hands rubbed up and down those soft, cushiony sides, taking a moment to squeeze one of those cute little rolls of hers.
“Quit pinching my fat, Teller! I’m gonna slap you and then I’m telling Gemma!” she fussed at him and he had the audacity to laugh.
“I love those cute little rolls of yours.” he said.
“Well, good for you but I do not remember giving you permission to pinch and poke and prod. That tickles, it’s colder than a well digger’s ass outside and I have had to pee for the last thirty minutes!” she said.
“You know where it is!”
“You were moaning my name in your sleep and I was kind of enjoying the show for a second before my guardian angel slapped me upside the head and put me back on task. Going to the potty has kinda been lower on the totem pole after this morning’s shit show!”
Jax just fell back on the bed, laughing his ass off.
“Ok, whatever. I have to pee and then I will be back. Probably to beat you.” she said as she made her way to the toilet.
“You can’t beat me! You need me!” he called after her.
“I will beat you and then I’ll get your mother to make you do my bidding!” she called back from behind the door.
Jax, the ever annoying shit, snuck his way towards the bathroom before ripping open the door to see her sitting on the toilet.
She simply blinked at him, far too tired to care that he was invading her personal space.
“You’re weird for this.” she informed him.
“Why?” he asked. “You saw me naked less than five minutes ago.”
“Well, that’s you. You’re a heathen. I’m a lady.”
“Ok.” he said. “Well, the lady should be nice to me. You’re almost out of toilet paper it seems.”
Y/N looked at him almost unimpressed as she reached around into the cabinet and produced a roll from seemingly out of nowhere.
“You NEVER replace the roll and every time I am in here I am the one to suffer because you forgot.” she said. “Decided to take matters into my own hands.”
“She sneaks in on me while I’m naked…”
“You gave me the key! And you were having a wet dream about ME!”
“Well, actually I was jerking off thinking about you in those shorts you wore last summer when the air conditioner went out and you said it was too hot to wear a bra and so you just wore that little tank top. And your cute little tummy was poking out and all I could think about was holding it while I fucked you so-”
“Jax!”
“What- sorry- huh?”
“Do you mind? I am trying to wipe my business and here you are making it wet again!”
His fingers gripped the door so hard she thought she was gonna pull it off the hinges.
“What were you even saying?” she asked, finally getting herself situated and pulling her panties up her legs.
Jax watched her like a hawk the entire time and practically glued himself to her back when she washed her hands.
The tip of his nose drug along the back of her neck while she dried her hands.
He leaned forward, his hips pressing her into the counter top as he stared her down through the mirror.
“Babydoll?” he breathed against her neck.
“Hmm?” she asked, eyes closing as he lips pressed into the spot behind her ear.
“How about you and I go get back in the bed and I warm you up?”
“But I have to figure out…”
“I will personally see to it that all of the sons are there to for your charity ride, bikes decorated, bells on and santa hats as well.”
“But-”
“Do you trust me?”
“But-”
“Babydoll, I said I will help. Have I ever not come through for you before?” he said, arms winding around her and pulling her tightly back into his chest.
His eyes stared at hers through the mirror.
“No. You always help me if I ask you.” she admitted,
“Ok, so I’m in, honey. Which means we’ll get it done.” he said. “Now, I have just recently found out that the girl I’ve been in love with for years feels the same way about me. And apparently is just as much of a filthy freak as me as well. I’d like to explore that if you don’t mind.”
Y/N smiled at him through the mirror, something he couldn’t help but reciprocate.
“Ok.” she said.
“Only if you’re truly ready. There’s no pressure.” he said pressing a kiss against her shoulder, “I’m just really hard so either we do this together or you gotta get out of the bathroom for a few minutes because I gotta deal with this. I’m cool either way.”
Y/N giggled and Jax couldn’t help but smile.
He loved that laugh.
“I’m ready.” she said.
“I’m serious though. I’m cool either way.” he said. “However, regardless of whether we do or we don’t. Still, trust me on this ride thing. I’ll get it done. I’d still like to hold you and definitely kiss you a bit. If you’ll let me.”
“Ok, we’ll start with kisses and work our way up to the ride.”
“Baby, I said I’d take care of it.” he sighed.
“Not that ride, Jax.”
“What are you- oh, Oh.” he said once he caught that sparkle in her eye.
He turned his face upwards, “Thanks, God. Really, man. Thanks. This is awesome.”
Y/N giggled.
Jax grinned.
And poor Gemma was so very unamused when she came looking for them both the next day to find their naked asses on display.
“It’s about damn time but get up. Jax, you don’t get to send a text message that says ‘rally the troops and prepare to ride’ and then not respond for twenty hours.” Gemma scolded him.
“Jax!” Y/N shrieked and hit him in the chest.
“You were half naked! I was doing well to form a coherent thought!” he said.
“Gemma, I’m so sorry.” Y/N apologied.
“I’m not. But move over here real quick.” Gemma said.
Y/N furrowed her brows but stole the sheet and did as she said.
Jax, having given up going back to bed, got up and turned to find his pants.
When he did, Gemma snapped a picture of his naked ass.
“Hey!” he said.
“Punishment for causing everyone to worry!” his mother said back. “At least now everyone knows you’re alive.”
Y/N peered over Gemma’s shoulder, “At the risk of disgusting his mother, that is a cute butt so please send it to me too.”
Jax nearly broke his own neck when he fell over laughing.
Gemma took a picture of that ungraceful angle with his butt cheeks spread, asshole on display and his balls seemingly going in different directions.
That poor, poor group text.
Y/N declined to have that picture sent to her.

merry christmas everyone and happy first night of hannukah! Or if you don’t celebrate either happy Wednesday! would like to illustrate the scene of me and my brother opening stockings where his theme (we each have themes for stockings) was travelling - very sophisticated, cultural, good stuff. My theme on the other hand was stranger things meaning whilst he looked very smart I was opening yet another upside down themed present and grinning wildly

How are your holidays going? While things may be merry and bright, the holidays can be stressful for many, so I thought we would take a look at self-care tips for the holidays. Plus, I have a glimpse of my holiday decoration, and don’t miss two fantastic holiday recipes sure to bring a smile to your face! Thanksgiving, Christmas, Hannukah, and NYE are the Super Bowl celebrations. It takes quite a bit of prepping and planning for a successful outcome. But many of us burn out before the big day arrives. Why? We lose focus on ourselves and what it takes to cross the finish line feeling happy and whole. So let’s plan for a more joyful, less stressful holiday with self-care during the holidays. In the spirit of taking it easy, sit back, relax, and enjoy today’s post. Self-Care Tips for the Holidays Many of us may think self-care is all about bubble baths, massages, and mani and pedi. While I love to indulge in any or all of those events, self-care is much more than that. Just like athletes, we need to focus on healthy foundations like a good night’s sleep, exercise, and eating well. Today, I’m sharing five simple ways to take care of yourselves during the holidays. MINIMIZE SUGAR Sugar is a killer. And it comes in a variety of forms: sucrose, glucose, fructose, corn syrup, and hydrolyzed starch, to name but a few. Many of us rely on quick processed foods for meals and snacks. But processed foods have hidden Sugar, so religiously read the labels. Choose organic produce over processed foods-unsweetened oatmeal over sugary cereal. Swap your sweetened yogurt for plain. These small steps will help wean you off Sugar. If you have a sweet tooth, always reach for natural sugars found in fruit. Shop the Outfit Cable Knit Turtleneck | Velvet Jeans | Leather Jacket | Tartan Plaid Scarf | Similar Suede Loafers Self-Care Tips for the Holidays Develop a plan to enjoy the special foods and treats around the holidays while balancing them with healthy eating. Swap a cookie for a banana or try my next tip. DRINK SMOOTHIES Smoothies are a great way to add fruits and veggies into your diet. And I’m not referring to those milkshake concoctions that taste like dessert and contain sweetened fruit juice. If you reach for fresh ingredients, you can make it sweet with fruit or pack a healthy punch with spinach. Frozen berries and chopped greens are excellent choices. Add protein powder or collagen for an extra dose of healthy. Shop the Outfit Red Tweed Jacket (limited sizes, similar here, here, and here) | White Tee | Boot Cut Jeans | Calf Hair Belt | Calf Hair Shoes (old, similar here, here, and here) | Quilted Handbag | Caviar Bangle | Caviar Watchband BREATHE Sounds simple, right? But this is one of the easiest self-care tips for the holidays. When our bodies and minds are stressed, we forget to breathe correctly. Many of us have smartwatches that remind us to breathe and stand. Why? Every system in our body relies on oxygen. Breathing fuels our bodies with oxygen, helping to clear a foggy mind and strengthening muscles. So remember. Breathe in. Breathe out. At Pilates, they have us breathe in through our nose and then exhale through our mouth. Long, deep breaths work best so count to five on your inhale and exhale. Try it. It’s that simple. Shop the Outfit Velvet Pants | Cashmere Turtleneck | Loafers | Silver Hoops SPEND TIME DOING NOTHING That’s right! Even during the busy holidays, you can give yourself a day of rest and relaxation. My mother coined those days “mental health days.” And she was right. So go ahead and sleep in, read a book, watch a favorite Christmas movie, or head to your local bookstore and enjoy a cup of coffee while you’re flipping through magazines. Whatever trips your trigger, permit yourself to do absolutely nothing. Honestly, there’s nothing better than a day spent recharging my batteries. It’s how I handle a jam-packed schedule and stay focused. This can be a tough self-care tip to employ, but once you grant yourself the grace to focus a little bit of time on yourself, you’ll be able to get back into the holiday hustle and bustle feeling relaxed and refreshed. Shop the Outfit Abstract Floral Cashmere Sweater | Crop Jacket | Velvet Jeans | Patent Leather Loafers | Gold Belt | Puzzle Handbag | Gold Hoop Earrings | Caviar Bangle | Caviar Watchband Shop the Outfits Beth’s Outfit: Fisherman Sweater (old, similar here) | Pink Corduroys | Block Heels (old, similar here and here) | Gold Hoop Earrings Kelly’s Outfit: Straight Leg Corduroy Pants | Cable Knit Sweater | Rothy’s Original Slip-On Sneaker Self-care Tips for the Holidays Now is the time to use my tip from above: Spend some time doing nothing – sit back with a mug of hot tea or your favorite beverage and enjoy a glimpse of my holiday decor! Similar Nutcracker | Similar Fabric-Wrapped Cone Trees | Merry Lumbar Pillow | Plaid Throw Pillows | Faux Berry Wreath | Similar Mercury Glass Mantle Trees | Assorted Metallic Ornaments (as Bowl Filler) | Similar Decorative Bowl | Tartan Lamp Shades | Gold Tabletop Trees | Faux Boxwood Wreath Holiday Recipes Up above, I talked about minimizing sugar, which is a great tip for your body and mind all year long. But when the holidays roll around and sweet treats are part of the festivities, it can be hard to abstain. Well, I am in the camp of permitting yourself to indulge in something you love – this indulgence, in moderation, can also be a form of self-care. It’s about enjoying your life and not denying yourself a little pleasure here and there. Below, find two recipes perfect for the holidays. For more Holiday Recipe Inspiration, check out Holiday Crab Cakes in our latest Fridays with Oscar Post. 1.5 cups All-Purpose Flour2 tsp. Baking Powder1/2 tsp. Kosher Salt1 cup Plain Whole-Milk Yogurt1 cup Sugar3 Large Eggs1 tbsp. Grated Grapefruit Zest approximately one large grapefruit1/2 tsp. Pure Vanilla Extract1/2 cup Vegetable or Grapeseed OilGrapefruit Soak1 tbsp. Sugar1/3 cup Freshly Squeezed Grapefruit JuiceGrapefruit Glaze1 cup Confectioners’ Sugar2 tbsp. Freshly Squeezed Grapefruit Juice Start by preheating the oven to 350 degrees F. Grease an 8-inch x 4-inch loaf pan. If you have a sticky pan, grease it, then lay parchment in the bottom, then grease and flour. In a large bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, and salt. In another bowl, add the sugar. Then grate the grapefruit zest directly into the sugar. Use your hands to massage the zest into the sugar until the sugar is very fragrant and slightly wet from the oil in the zest.Whisk the yogurt, eggs, and vanilla into the sugar and zest. Slowly whisk the dry mixture into the wet mixture. Then use a silicone spatula to fold the grapeseed or other neutral oil into the batter, making sure the oil is fully incorporated.Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake for 50-60 minutes. Start checking for doneness at 45-50 minutes. Cake is done when a cake tester placed in the center, comes out clean.Grapefruit SoakMeanwhile, in a small pan, cook the 1/3 cup grapefruit juice and the remaining 1 tablespoon sugar until the sugar is completely dissolved. Remove from heat and set aside.Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes when it comes out of the oven. Then, while the cake is still warm, drizzle the sugar grapefruit mixture over the cake and let it soak in. Let the cake cool for about 30 minutes.Grapefruit GlazeMeanwhile, whisk together 1 cup of confectioners’ sugar and 2 tablespoons of grapefruit juice for the glaze. After about 30 minutes, carefully invert the cake onto a plate, then invert again onto a wire rack. Set the wire rack over a sheet pan or over a sheet of plastic wrap for easy cleanup. Let the cake cool longer if it feels warm to the touch. When the cake is cool, pour the glaze over the top, letting it drip down the sides. Let the glaze set, then transfer it to a serving plate. 2 Puff Pastry Sheets3-4 tbsp. Nutella2-3 tbsp. Fruit Preserves like Cherry, Raspberry, or Strawberry1 Beaten Egg mixed with 2 teaspoons waterPowdered Sugar for dusting Let store-bought puff pastry squares defrost for 40 minutes to one hour at room temperature.Preheat to oven to 400 degrees. When the pastry is defrosted, but still very cold, we are ready to go.On a lightly floured surface, roll the pastry square just enough to fit a 9-or 10-inch round template. (Use a pie pan or tart pan as the template)Cut the pastry around the template.Repeat with the second piece of puff pastry.Transfer one of the pastry circles – parchment and all – to a large sheet tray.Spread Nutella all the way to the edges of the pastry circle. Then spread preserves over the Nutella, leaving about a 1/2 border around the outer edge.Lay the second circle of pastry on top and score the center with a shot glass or a small cookie cutter. Then, use a sharp knife to make cuts outward from the scored circle in the center. Then, use a sharp knife to make cuts outward from the scored circle in the center. Each half of the pastry should have 6 star points. So start by making center cuts. Then, make quarter cuts. Then make 2 cuts in each quarter – creating three star points per each quarter.Take one star point in each hand and twist the star points toward each other. Repeat with the rest of the star points.Brush the tops and sides of the star with egg wash.Bake the Nutella and Cherry Tear and Share for 18-23 minutes, until the pastry is puffed and golden and is baked through.Let the pastry cool for about 5 minutes, then use a large spatula or aluminum pizza peel to transfer to a serving plate. Then dust the star with powdered sugar. Choose organic produce over processed foods-unsweetened oatmeal over sugary cereal. Swap your sweetened yogurt for plain. These small steps will help wean you off Sugar. If you have a sweet tooth, always reach for natural sugars found in fruit. Under the Mistletoe
(or the turtles are under the mistletoe with their crush)
CW: none! unless you call both the reader and the turtles being dense idiots as a content warning
Merry Christmas! Happy Hannukah! Happy Qwanza! Happy Holidays!
Donnie:
Leo put it there
We all know it
He's trying to be a good wingman, okay?
Anyways, Donnie is just calculating on how to get out of the situation. He looks like he's standing there with his mouth hanging open
Bro has no idea what's going on for the first time in his life
You give him a quick kiss on the cheek to appease everyone watching you
Donnie quicky snaps into reality and keeps saying he didn't look like a lovesick puppy
He's gotta keep that 'bad boy' image y'know
However, his face is warm the rest of the night
You're both avoiding eye-contact and can't tell whether or not the kiss meant anything
Donnie may be a genius but is stupid with love
Raph:
two words: love stink
you know how he has a fear stink
he has a love stink too
it's everywhere now
his mask is the same shade as the rest of his face now
he's stuttering and saying that you don't have to kiss if you're uncomfortable
you end up kissing his cheek anyway
bro is enchanted
his brother's tease him and Raph tries to act 'mature' about the situation
"I know you put it there, Leo." "Funny prank, guys."
He is twirling his mask tails like a school girl
but now he's stressing on what that kiss meant
Leo:
"Oh, wow. Who put this mistletoe here? Guess we have to kiss."
On the outside, Leo looks like he's teasing you. but he's screaming internally at this very moment
He's the type of person that's flirty but can't take his own medicine
it's funny to watch him stutter after you kiss him on the cheek
lots of 'um' and 'uh'
then he acts like he totally planned for that to happen
his heart is going a mile a minute afterward
he can't stop staring at you in general, your lips in specific
when no one's looking, his hand goes to his cheek
he just can't believe you kissed him
this moment gave him a little more courage to tell you he likes you
Mikey:
Mikey is actually the most calm in terms of being flustered
he's a lot more in tune with his feelings than his older brothers
that doesn't mean he isn't nervous though
His face is still a little red and he was flustered beyond belief
his heart was brimming with excitement
butterflies fluttered in his stomach once you kissed him on the cheek
he felt like squealing and wanting to give you kisses all over your face in return
however, he didn't want to make you uncomfortable
he didn't know whether or not that simple peak on the cheek meant anything
because it meant so much to him
he bragged about being much more 'adult' after the fact

Advent Adventure
Slacktivist
A tent among us
This is from Anne Lamott’s “Advent Adventure,” from her old “Mothers Who Think” column on Salon.
Merry Christmas, blessed Solstice, happy Hannukah. Emmanuel.
- - - - - - - - - - - -
So I called my Jesuit friend,Tom, who is a hopeless alcoholic of the worst sort, sober now for 22 years, someone who sometimes gets fat and wants to hang himself, so I trust him. I said, “Tell me a story about Advent. Tell me about people getting well.” He thought for a while. Then he said, “OK.” In 1976, when he first got sober, he was living in the People’s Republic of Berkeley, going to the very hip AA meetings there, where there were no fluorescent lights and not too much clapping – or that yahoo-cowboy-hat-in-the-air enthusiasm that you get in L.A., according to sober friends. And everything was more or less all right in early sobriety, except that he felt utterly insane all the time, filled with hostility and fear and self-contempt. But I mean, other than that everything was OK. Then he got transferred to Los Angeles in the winter, and he did not know a soul. “It was a nightmare,” he says. “I was afraid to go into entire areas of L.A., because the only places I knew were the bars. So I called the cardinal and asked him for the name of anyone he knew in town who was in AA. And he told me to call this guy Terry.” Terry, as it turned out, had been sober for five years at that point, so Tom thought he was God. They made arrangements to go to a meeting that night in the back of the Episcopal Cathedral, right in the heart of downtown L.A. It was Terry’s favorite meeting, full of low-bottom drunks and junkies – people from nearby halfway houses, bikers, jazz musicians. “Plus it’s a men’s stag meeting,” says Tom. “So already I’ve got issues. " There I am on my first date with this new friend Terry, who turns out to not be real chatty. He’s clumsy and ill at ease, an introvert with no social skills, but the cardinal has heard that he’s also good with newly sober people. He asks me how I am, and after a long moment, I say, ‘I’m just scared,’ and he nods and says gently, 'That’s right.’ "I don’t know a thing about him, I don’t know what sort of things he thinks about or who he votes for, but he takes me to this meeting near skid row, where all these awful looking alkies are hanging out in the yard, waiting for a meeting to start. I’m tense, I’m just staring. It’s a whole bunch of strangers, all of them clearly very damaged – working their way back slowly, but not yet real attractive. The people back in Berkeley AA all seem like David Niven in comparison, and I’m thinking, Who are these people? Why am I here? "All my scanners are out. It’s all I can do not to bolt. "Ten minutes before the meeting began, Terry directed me to a long flight of stairs heading up to a windowless, airless room. I started walking up the stairs, with my jaws clenched, muttering to myself tensely just like he guy in front of me, this guy my own age who was stumbling and numb and maybe not yet quite on his first day of sobriety. "The only things getting me up the stairs are Terry, behind me, pushing me forward every so often, and this conviction I have that this is as bad as it’s ever going to be – that if I can get through this, I can get through anything. Well. All of a sudden, the man in front of me soils himself. I guess his sphincter just relaxes. Shit runs down onto his shoes, but he keeps walking. He doesn’t seem to notice. "However, I do. I clapped a hand over my mouth and nose, and my eyes bugged out but I couldn’t get out of line because of the crush behind me. And so, holding my breath, I walk into the windowless, airless room. "Now, this meeting has a greeter, which is a person who stands at the door saying hello. And this one is a biker with a shaved head, a huge gut and a Volga boatman mustache. He gets one whiff of the man with shit on his shoes and throws up all over everything. "You’ve seen the Edvard Munch painting of the guy on the bridge screaming, right? That’s me. That’s what I look like. But Terry enters the room right behind me. And there’s total pandemonium, no one knows what to do. The man who had soiled himself stumbles forward and plops down in a chair. A fan blows the terrible smells of shit and vomit around the windowless room, and people start smoking just to fill in the spaces in the air. Finally Terry reaches out to the greeter, who had thrown up. He puts his hand on the man’s shoulder. "Wow,” he says. “Looks like you got caught by surprise.” And they both laugh. Right? Terry asks a couple of guys to go with him down the hall to the men’s room, and help this guy get cleaned up. There are towels there, and kitty litter, to absorb various effluvia, because this is a meeting where people show up routinely in pretty bad shape. So while they’re helping the greeter get cleaned up, other people start cleaning up the meeting room. Then Terry approaches the other man. “My friend,” he says gently, “it looks like you have trouble here.” The man just nods. “We’re going to give you a hand,” says Terry. “So three men from the recovery house next door help him to his feet, walk him to the halfway house and put him in the shower. They wash his clothes and shoes and give him their things to wear while he waits. They give him coffee and dinner, and they give him respect. I talked to these other men later, and even though they had very little sobriety, they did not cast this other guy off for not being well enough to be there. Somehow this broken guy was treated like one of them, because they could see that he was one of them. No one was pretending he wasn’t covered with shit, but there was a real sense of kinship. And that is what we mean when we talk about grace. "Back at the meeting at the Episcopal Cathedral, I was just totally amazed by what I had seen. And I had a little shred of hope. I couldn’t have put it into words, but until that meeting, I had thought that I would recover with men and women like myself; which is to say, overeducated, fun to be with and housebroken. And that this would happen quickly and efficiently. But I was wrong. So I’ll tell you what the promise of Advent is: It is that God has set up a tent among us and will help us work together on our stuff. And this will only happen over time.”

Holiday Finale: the Ghost and Molly McGee: Festival of Lights and Saving Christmas Review (comissioned by Weird Kev 27
Merry Christmas Eve all you happy people! We're to the end of our christmas celebrations for the year but before I close up shop for a day or two, we have one last present to unwrap courtsey of Kev: Last year's holiday double feature from the Ghost and MollyMcGee
TGAMM isn't a show i've talked about yet on this blog, but no time like the present, as it's an excellent show. Just watching these eps I often found myself pausing as the animation is just all sorts of fluid and expressive. That's the standard for Disney at it's best granted but this show just has it's own bouncy style all it's own.
The premise is simple: An overly chipper 12 year old named Molly McGee moves to the failing town of Brighton with her family, finally finding a "forever home" after moving around a bunch. She ends up best friends with Scratch, a cynical , lazy and often hungry ghost who the rest of the ghost community laughs at, who makes the mistake of cursing her with "never leaving her"… and soon despite himself ends up genuinely enjoying this friendship while trying to ballnce that with his job of making people miserable.. not a great thing when his best friend is determiend to make everyone's lives better. The show is a fun comedy, helped by the fact it's leads are two of my faviorite voice actors, Ashly Burch of OK KO and Final Space Fame and Dana Synder of Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Venture Bros, Jellystone and tons of other stuff fame. It was nice to see Ashly get a lead roll and Dana get a lead roll agai, so I was already on board but the show is enjoyable, inclusive, and fairly funny, so I liked it. I'm horribly behind on season 1b, but i'll get to it before the years out. The show made my top 20 episodes list last year and for good reason, so it's nice to have at least one more season of it.
So that brings us to today's review: last year they did a holiday special but nicely, we got a holiday treat as Ghost and Molly McGee is the first show i've seen in a while to do a full on Hannukah special!
Yeah while i'm not Jewish myself, i've had a fondness for shows helping my dumb ass learn more about a holiday, having grown up with Rugrats Passover and Hannukah specials. It's just nice to help kids learn there are more holidays than christmas and what exactly goes on in those holidays, and spoilers this won't be the last special that isnt' Christmas. And I do love Christmas, I just feel other holidays deserve love too especailly with all this war on chistmas bullshit> The world is wide enough for all holidays and I shoudln't have ot say that but given it comes up every year.. yeah , I do. So put on your yammukah as we have both a happy happy hannukah and a merry christmas in the same episode with Festival of Lights and Saving Christmas.
Festival of Lights: It's the final night of Hannukah, and the McGees are visting Book Marks the Spot, the Stein-Torres' bookstore. As for that name, i'm.. not a fan? I like the store itself, as someone who loves little independent book stores and used to work at one, in fact that's where I got my complete set of TinTin and first edition of the Colour of Magic among many other treasures due to having an insane amount of credit form working there. It's just the name is…
Like I get it's a pun on both x marks the spot and Bookmarks, but it just dosen't work. Like… the store isn't pirate themed. I mean books are a treasure, but if you wanted a piratey name that didn't necesarily require a theme just call it hidden treasure books or something. Not everything has to be a pun. It's ran by Libby's mom Leah, who weirdly isn't named on the episode itself but is on the actual wiki page for her. I assume this is a Boonchuy Parents situation where they were named later via word of god because you can't just.. mention that in episode? Please? Make my job easier?
For those new here Libby is Molly's Best friend/probable love intrest, a somehwat shy girl Molly's age who loves beat poetry and clearly molly. Look i've never been subtle in my shipping, i'm not starting now.. though if your new then welcome to the thunderdome bitches! Seroiusly though the two just play off each other really well, are really sweet together, and the list making episode where Molly has to tell Libby.. comes off entirely romantic in Molly's not wanting to loose libby. Could be intentional, could be untetional, we've still got a season to go.
Molly tries to be supportive.. though mostly she just googled hannukah and readas she goes while Libby looks on apprceatively. Scratch is also there but he was dragged there, like the surly teenage sons the McGees never asked for but welcomed into their home anyway since he was there first and having a ghost meant they could get some money back.
Things quickly take a turn though as the lights go out. The good news is that Mrs. Stein Torres has a generator and that Chucky was busy chainsawing someone in half this holiday season, so their safe. The bad news is that it only has an hour of fuel, though people still flock to the store for warmth and Mrs. Stein Torres is happy to have them. MST is played by the incomparable Pamela Adlon aka…
Though Bobby is, rightfully, her most famous roll and one of her best, Adlon has a rather long and storied career in voice acting: She's voiced Dewey Duck (Quack Pack), Spenelli (Where I first met her), Milo Oblong, Brigette Murphy, and Dr. Joanne on the now cancelled Tuca and Bertie. In addition to that she wrote and starred in the amazing FX Comedy Better Things which I highly recommend and is a talented and wonderful person.
If your familiar with the story of Hannukah you likely know where this is going: As with the oil in the temple under siege lasted 8 days instead of one, giving us 8 nights of Hannukah, the generator will last for 8 hours, with a story for each hour.
Hour 1: Scratch is ready to just run out until he finds out Hannukah involves foods in fried oil. Scratch then sings a whole musical number about fried food while Libby tries in vain to get him to use the actual names. still it's adorable, esecially to see him hang out with Libby for a change, as well as relatable since I too will stuff my face iwth anything fried.
Hour Two: The kids and Scratc h play Dreidel. I still don't quite know how it works, but it's fun to watch the kids all loose it as they all loose, cumilating in Libby winning the gelt and Scratch being pissed off to find it was choclate. Are we sure Scratch isn't just my ghost sent backwards in time and through space? Are we positve on that?
Hour Three: Libby has a spelling bee and asks the McGees to spell Hannukah, which has 16 diffrent spellings. Neat to know, one of the weaker segments
Hour Four: We then get one of the stronger ones, as Libby introuces the Miracle Box, a box where you put in a miracle that happened to you this year. It's a really sweet concept and one i'd love to try. We get the jokes you'd expect: Sharon's miracle is the van is still running, while Darryl's.. is that he didn't get caught. ("It's best you don't know"), while we get some sweet one: Molly's is natural meeting scratch, Libby's Mom's is Libby (She apparently does this every year), and Scratch's, which he spends the segement trying desperattley to not have read aloud as he wasn't aware of that part is the entirely sweet "I used to haunt a house, now I haunt a home
Everyone present finds it sweet while Scratch is embarassed.. but i'ts also a nice sign of just how far his character has come in only half a season. While he only admitted it when he didn't think anyone else would eve rknow, it's still sweet to see him accept that this is his family now.. and his life is better fo rit.
Hour Five: A truly excellent bit of slam poetry by LIbby about the tale of Hannukah. Also a nice call back to her talent for it that was revealed earlier in the season> This show has a really strong continuity and I love it for it.
Hour Six: Scratch eats too many Latkes… methinks they didn't have enough time for another segment, but given how serious the segements before and after this one are, it's fair enough.
Hour Seven: We get a really nice, if suprisingly somber segment as Leah talks with Abby, a local baker played by Eden Rigel, sister of Sam "Pull on My Motherfuckin Beads" Rigel. Eden's best known for voicing Boscha on the Owl House. Abby is also Jewish but has admitely not practiced her faith in some time, but seeing the Stein-Torres Menorah reminds her of it and Leah warmly welcomes her to it… and to her family history. As it turns out their Menorah was the only thing her grandparents took with them when they fled Germany from the Nazi's. The show dosen't come right out and say that.. but anyone familiar with history, paticuarlly Krystalnacht, can spot the obvious. It's done painfully well with nice subtly: we only see her great grandparents fleeing with the menorah while a brick's thrown through the window and there's a mob of angry noice.. just enough to get past Disney's censors, but more than enough to get the point across. We also see them as they immigrate, have a son (Leah's father and LIbby's grandfather) and we see a Young Leah light the menorah for the first time> This Menorah is their family legacy an din just two mintues of screentime we see what that legacy means. It's an utterly beautiful piece of animation, just two minutes to show the pride in their history and what they escaped to get there. Hour Eight: The power finally goes out.. only for power everywhere to kick on. Libby proclaims it a Hannukah miracle, Scratch eats even more latke's and this slam dunk of an episode ends.
Seriously this episode is beauitful, a true masterpiece having both hilariaty and a lot of heart. Only the spelling bee bit didn't qutie work for me. it's a nice educational piece that helps tell the gentiles like myself about the holiday. I may still not get how Dredl works, but I feel warm having watched this.
Saving Christmas:
This being a two shorts show we have a traditional Christmas Specail to follow things up. It's the annual Snowflake Celebration, with the Mayor, voiced by my boy Patton Oswalt and looking just like him, being happy they'll crush perfectborg.. only for the tree to fall apart then catch fire. The Celebration is in ruins and so it seems is Brighton's christmas so Molly decides to find a Donor. Now who in town his rich and has lots of money?
…. okay maybe save him as plan B. For Plan A Molly seeks out Mr. Davenport, played by Thomas Lennon of Reno 911 and Jellystone fame, whose shockingly shot up as a voice actor in the past few years, taking on a lot of rolls. And given his distinctive southren voice, great comedic timing and general awesomeness i'm on board.
Mr. Davenport is the father of Andrea, Molly's rival and general mean girl sterotype. That said.. Andrea is actually on her side for once: Since the festival has a Snowflake Queen Andrea wants the part and as we'll learn it turns out it's not just for the attention or the viewcount as it normally would be for her and frankly this family in general: while the social media attention is nice, she wants to do it to honor her mom.
Mr. Davenport though.. is a.. what's the term for it this time of year… a holly jolly dickhead. Yeah tha'ts it. Think I nailed that. He says it's a time for making money, that giving someone something for free is against his nature and his daughter can jsut photoshop that bitch.
So in the face of such Scoogey opposition, Molly decides to pull a christmas carol.. my third reviewed this year. I did not plan for this when I set the schedule, as I didn't think about Last Christmas! Being a take on it and assume this one was only a take on it for the last act as I hadn't seen this episode till now (I only watched Festival of Lights last year). But no Molly's entire plan is to Christmas Carol the spirit of charity into this bastard.
Scratch agrees because it's bound to be hilarious and he's right: The next few minutes are just Mr. Davenport hilariously not at all getting the points Molly tries to make and Thomas Lennon's delivery is perfect: showing him his past and how his dad wasn't a good father (with Pete and Darryl playing the parts and both ilariously dressing up for the 1880s instead of 1980s.. then just throwing in rad slang to try and compesnte), that his dad was a great buisnessman, showing him the McGees house just has him grouse about how poor they are instea dof how loving they are, and attempting to show his store closed.. dosen't work because it's an ally and Scratch flying him around dosen't scare him so much as make him want more.
While all of this is funny and a nice subversion of the Scrooge story, as well as a well done one: Molly tried to simply use a full bullet points.. not getting how each stop on the Ghost's journey was pointed: Showing him Fezzywig was to both set up belle and to show Scrooge what he could be, his failed romance with Belle reminded him what his greed already cost him, Fred showed him his nephew still love dhim even as he mocked him, the cratchets shoewd him both true kindess and the cost of his greed, and the future hammered both parts home. Each part was aimed carefully at the target. Molly simply didn't know mr. davenport well enough to actually effect him in any way.
The results though.. are terribly sad. Molly has no christmas spirit left, being utterly defeated and not relaly planning to celebrate tommorow. She coudln't save christmas, so the joy that's usually at the center of her is gone.. and given up to this point we've only seen molly this low when she nearly lost Libby, it's painful to see. We've seen her desperate… but we've never seen her out and out give up.
Scratch is naturally pissed off as hell. Not only did someone break Molly.. but on Christmas. So he decides if Mr. davenport is going to be stubborn about this, he's going to get it the hard way. The hard way.. dosen't quite work as just tossing him around only makes him Giddy. Thankfully, Scratch DOES find something that FINALLY gets through this dickhead's thick skull: Andrea, sadly starring at a picutre of her mom, putting the princess dress away and crying her eyes out. Which made me tear up just THINKING about it and finally gets Mr. Davenport to see that ther'es more to christmas. He agrees to fund the festival as you'd expect.
The ending as a result is super sweet, as Molly awakes to find the day saved, the town sings a song, Andrea gets her moment she wanted.. and Mr. Davenport sees you can use money to make merry.. and sometimes.. that's the real magic. Using what you have to help someone else. He also gets a fuckton of social media views from it, and without that being WHY he did it. Karma does work apparently! Maybe it's just if your rich but either way it's a sweet sendoff.
While it had one hell of a tough act to follow, Saving Christmas is a nice sweet christmas special. It's also really damn funny, clever and the ending is genuinely sweet. It's a good time and worth sticking around for after Festival of Lights. While the former is clearly the main attraction here and the better of the two by a mile, Saving Christmas is still a fun take on a christmas Carol and Gives Thomas Lennon a chance to flex his comedic chops. And both are worth making merry over. Have a wonderful christmas time, a happy hannukah and thanks for reading. I'll see you in a few days for the last few reviews of the year.

And once the Christmas tree is installed, there better be ..eh..breakfast in bed? Winter Morning describes a delectable morning of smutty morning sex with Walter, and..*sigh* let me just fantasise about the beard burn for a moment, okay? By @connieisland
“A delicate blanket made of snowflakes had nestled itself over the streets of Minneapolis.” Starts the tale of this sweet Walter fic, including many annoying (but totally hilarious) text spams from Faye, one messy kitchen and one nearly ruined Covid-Hannukah dinner - I said nearly, there okay; The Great Jewish Cook-off by @inlovewithhisblueeyes
With Sy
Loss and love are closely intertwined when the holidays are near. Let’s take a look behind the tinsel and twinkle and see the way Sy looks at the woman who lost a lot, yet loves the most. On Leave by @dancingwendigo
Need some more uplifting Sy Christmas tree decorating? We’ve got that too! Let me give you A Syverson Family Christmas by @its--fandom--darling -- ps. I never heard of hanging actual popcorn in the tree, so here’s to me learning new things! 😸
And eh..*aherm* need some down-time between all the Christmas shopping? Maybe a lil’ smut is just what you need? The Shop-pocalypse by @its--fandom--darling (again; yes, this winter holiday rec list is pretty much owned by this wonderful, darling! 😂😘)
With Clark
Dear Santa, I’ve been a good girl allll year. Now can I, pretty pretty please, bow-on-top, have a Christmas night with hot cocoa and take-out? Wrap Session is the kind of fluff you may crave in these cold dark days, so let @its--fandom--darling indulge you!
Prefer something a little more dark, Clark and ..tacos? Holiday Interlude 2 by the mistress of dark fics @sapphirescrolls will be sure to get you going.
With Napoleon
Some sad pre Christmas nostalgia turns utterly sweet as Napoleon surprises his ladylove with a little winter escape in White Christmas by @crimsonrae
With Charles
Charles being a loving husband is my weakness; now imagine Walking In Winter Wonderland with him. Delightful no? @its--fandom--darling gives you all the fluff (and if you so feel like it, there’s also a smutty follow-up 👀)
With Geralt
Let’s pull some heart strings with this fic of a druidess and Geralt, winter impending and loving hearts pondering; what will they do? One can tell, Only After The Heart Heals, by @thetaoofzoe
Need some Geraskier to keep you warm? This Geraskier prompt about Jaskier’s winter stay at Kaer Morrhen, will give you sensual dough kneading (pottery scene from Ghost, anyone?👀), banter and utter-butter fluff. By @kueble.
Or prefer Yule celebrations w/ Yen & Ciri? This Witcher Headcannon got me grinning - and that’s not only because of the joke regarding Yen’s unicorn. By @witcherislovewitcherislife
Bonus: Finishing off, I can’t help but link to the Netflix Christmas Witcher trailer, which is a lot of snow, Geralt cursing and overall sentiment of “SANTA WOULD YOU PLEASE GIVE US A RELEASE DATE” -- I know, it’s no fic, but it’s pretty funny anyways.

God, I love Christmas.
If you're looking for stories of fetus larry, fluff, adult larry, angst, ot5, plot twists, and just good old Christmas fun, then you've come to the right place:)
I know I'm the worst at uploads, but I've already written almost half of these so I should be good in terms of timing! (fingers crossed tho lol)
I hope y'all enjoy these as much as I enjoy writing them, and I wish you all a happy Christmas season!! (also, I do plan on writing a bonus story that features Hannukah to hopefully be more inclusive, so please bear with me!) I love you all and thank you for taking time out of your precious days to read my work:)
