I just really liked this illustration by Akemi Hayashi from this post, so I made some edits!

My usual style of coloring is in the first one, I tried to emulate Revolutionary Girl Utena's style in the second, and the third/forth are just flat coloring/re coloring that helped me make the middle happen~

speaking  of,  the  flex  of  his  brows  relaxes  once  the  captain  looks  down  at  his  wife  with  that  vast  blue  gaze.  his  chuckle  feels  like  a  comet  on  a  fast  descent.

Star curls her hands into fists. A sharp jolt of pain makes her uncurl the left again, though, fingers digging into the makeshift bandage covering the ragged wound across her palm. “I don’t know what you’re talking about.” “No, you don’t, do you.” David unfolds himself from the wheelchair, rising to his feet in one graceful motion. He stalks across the uneven floor toward Star like an advancing panther, all danger and menace and feline grace. Star stands her ground, raises her chin, tosses her hair back. Tries not to let the gnawing fear – or the other thing gnawing at her insides – show on her face. “What happened tonight, Star?” ... or; the one where two half-vampires in a sunken hotel try to sate their bloodlust with each other's bodies.
